Little Yellow Devil
Hell Breaks Loose
Previous ChapterMurderous acts were happening more and more in Ponyville. Princess Celestia was becoming worried.
Since that tragic day of her most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, being murdered, Celestia didn’t know what to do.
Five ponies were dead, along with two of Celestias royal guards. It was time to call on Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, and the Royal Guards to do a full search of Ponyville.
Celestias job was to protect the remaining mane six, which was only Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Along with Spike.
“Celestia! I-I have bad news, P-Princess.”
Celestia looked down at the crying yellow pegasi.
“What is it? What’s wrong?” Celestia pulled the pegasi towards her, holding her as if she was her own daughter.
“T-Twilight a-and Rainbow D-Dash... They’re... Dead...” The pegasi cried her eyes out.
It’s alright, Fluttershy. Celestia is here. And as long as she’s Princess, her and her guards will find out who’s behind all of these murders.”
Fluttershy nodded, wiping her tears away, and looking back at the huge doors.
Outside the Princesses great doors, the two guards were no longer standing their post. They were both on the ground, their skin slowly melting away...
Celestia looked down at the crying yellow pegasi and said to her,
“You and your friends may stay here until the murder is caught. So no more of the Elements of Harmony are harmed.”
“I-I possibly couldn’t intrude, Princess. I mean, thank you for your kind offer. But I would be too m-much in the way.”
“It is my duty to keep you in safe hooves, Fluttershy. It’ll be alright. You and your friends, including Spike, will be staying in the castle until further notice or until I can find a safer location.”
“T-Thank you, Princess.” Fluttershy said, happily.
“Now go on, Fluttershy. Go tell the other Elements of Harmony, along with Spike, that they will be living in Canterlot.”
Fluttershy flew out of the castle and went straight to Ponyville to tell her friends of the news.
Celestia was next.
Fluttershy first stopped by Twilights library to pick up Spike and tell him the news. She walked on in without knocking, closing the door behind her. She felt an angry presence. Sensing it was Twilights, she went on upstairs to find that Spike was no where in the library.
Downstairs, Fluttershy heard the library’s door open, and then shut.
Footsteps came up the stairs, along with whistling. It was whistling a familiar tune.
The figure turned on the light switch.
“AH! Fluttershy! What are you doing here?” Spike asked, picking up the papers that got thrown out of his hands in fear.
“Oh, I’m sorry Spike. I-I didn’t mean to scare you.. I just wanted to tell you that Celestia wants our friends, you, and me to stay at her castle until the murderer is found.”
“Tell the Princess I can’t. I’ve been keeping this place tidy for Twilight... Sh-she would have wanted me t-to do this for h-h-her...” The tiny dragons throat was cracking.
Spike was still depressed over losing his best friend. He wished he would have been there with her, instead of sleeping in bed all day. Spike always blamed himself for his friends death.
“O-okay Spike. I’ll be sure to let Celestia know.” Fluttershy said, as she trotted out the door, closing it behind her.
As soon as she was gone, Spike lost it. His dragon tears flowed down his cheeks. All the memories of him and Twilight growing up were coming back to him.
Magic Duel
“Well, Twilight, I guess It’s up to you. Come on, show her what you’re made of!”
“What do you mean? I’m nothing special...” Twilight said, a bit confused.
Yes you are! You’re better than her!” Spike exclaimed.
“I’m not better than anyone...” Twilight said in a sad tone.
Winter Wrap-Up
“Well, you’re good at alot of things! Just not nest making, ice skating, animal waking, snow clearing...” Spike said, trying not to hurt Twilights feelings.
“Oh, thanks alot for making me feel so much better.” Twilight said in a sarcastic tone.
“That’s what I’m here for, sister!” Spike smiled.
Spike was always there for Twilight, just as she was for him. Ever since his egg hatched. Why wasn’t he there for her then? The day she got murdered?
Spike stayed in the library, soaked in his own tears.
Fluttershy went to each and every of of her friends, telling all of them the news that Celestia had told her. Each of them happy that they got to live in Canterlot.
A few days later, Celestia ordered the guards to go with each pony to their home and help them get their belongings. All but one pony agreed. Fluttershy.
Fluttershy stayed with Celestia. Little did Celestia know, she was unsafe. As soon as the guards were out of sight, Celestia sighed, up on her throne, and shut her eyes for a bit.
Fluttershy pulled out a knife that was hidden behind her, and cut open Celestias throat. The knife she used was dull, so dull that it was almost hard to tear the skin. But she did it. Celestia died there, up on her throne, blood trickling down her body. Her lifeless eyes, widened in shock, staring ahead of her. Her hooves, limp on to her sides.
Fluttershy ran out of the Princesses royal room and into Ponyville to alarm the guards that Celestia was dead.
“H-Help!” Fluttershy screamed at one of the guards, tears flowing from her eyes.
“What’s wrong miss? Aren’t you supposed to be with Celestia?”
“I-I was, but then I-I h-had to go to my room for a bit, I came back and C-Celestia... D-Dead.. I don’t know if the murderer is still in Canterlot, so I ran. I-I’m scared.”
At that point, the guard knew that no one, in all of Equestria, was safe. He called all of the townspeople to give them the bad news that they no longer had a Princess in charge. Everyone in Equestria mourned.
The four ponies didn’t get to live in Canterlot. They were ordered to stay at home and go along with their lives until further notice.
Fluttershy went back to her Cottage.
“Did you miss me, Angel?”
Angel grinned a wicked grin.
“Do you know who’s next, Angel?”
Angel shook his head, telling the yellow pegasi that no, he did not. But he was curious. She never told him who’d be next.
“Spike sure does miss Twilight. I think I’ll go back by there tomorrow to see how sad he’s been....”
