Chapter 1 - The Final Battle
The two titanic beasts stood in a crater. Surrounding them were the remains of buildings, destroyed by their gargantuan battle. This was Tokyo. Key word being "was." Very little had been left over from the two combatants. Now, each prepared for what would be fated to be their final battle.
One was a giant reptile, shorter than the other. It was covered in black scales, and had rows of spines going down its back. Its massive reptilian head roared in fury at its opponent. This was Godzilla - the King of the Monsters. Opposite from him, roaring back at him, was his foe. Standind quite a bit taller than Godzilla was a golden dragon. Its gigantic wings shimmered in the fiery light, and its claws shined with a lethal sheen. It had three heads. The two on the sides were adorned with two pairs of horns, while the central one had three, as well as a mane like a lion's. These horns gave the impression of a crown on its draconian head. This was King Ghidorah - Destroyer of Worlds.
Ghidorah cackled maniacally. "And here we are again, old foe!" he bellowed at Godzilla. The dinosaur merely snorted in response. "Once again, I've tried to destroy this planet like the dust it is, and once again you have stopped me. This is indeed becoming very annoying," Each of the three heads spoke in unison, a sound as chilling as it was unnatural.
Godzilla growled. "When will you learn?" he said. "This world will not bow to the likes of you, or anyone else! Now go, before I kill you myself,"
Ghidorah merely smirked. "You've said that time and time again, old enemy. Yet here I stand! But enough talk!" Ghidorah's wings flared out, each head baring its teeth in rage. "Let's fight!"

Meanwhile, in Osaka.....
The scientist and the general looked at the computer screen. "I can't believe it!" the scientist exclaimed. "Godzilla and King Ghidorah are fighting to the death!"
"To the death? That's unlikely. They've fought plenty of times, why should it be different now?" The general responded.
"I can feel it," The psychic interjected. "I'm certain that by the end of this, only one will walk away,"
The general didn't want to trust her, but the psychic had proven him wrong before.
Suddenly, a voice popped up from across the room. "Sir, what about the Dimension Tide?" the pilot asked.
The general considered the impetuous young man's suggestion. "I don't know. The last time we tried to use it, we unleashed a swarm of prehistoric insects, and we didn't even succeed in killing Godzilla! What makes you think it'll work now?"
"With all due respect, sir," the pilot said, "the Dimension Tide has been significantly upgraded. With a well-aimed shot,"
The general finished for the pilot by saying, "We could kill Godzilla and King Ghidorah at the same time. And I would go down in history as the man who saved Japan!"
"But sir, what about Tokyo?" the psychic asked. "Won't it get destroyed in the process?"
"There's not chance of that happening," the scientist replied. "The black hole would be too unstable to stay around long enough for that to happen."
"Even if it did happen," the pilot said, "It would be a sacrifice we would have to take. The oppurtunity to rid the world of not one, but two monsters would be too great. We would be fools not to do so,"
"And you're sure this will work?" the general asked one last time.
The pilot nodded, and the psychic gave him an unsure look. The scientist turned to the general. "Orders, sir?"
The general didn not hesitate in giving the order that would change two worlds. "Fire the Dimension Tide,"

King Ghidorah slammed his opponent into the ruined husk of a skyscraper. "Ha! Finally, after all the battles we have fought through, you will fall!" He taunted.
Godzilla felt his strength weakening. What he wouldn't give to have somebody else here to help him fight.
Suddenly, a roaring sound came from the sky. But it was not an organic roar. With a colossal explosion, a black hole appeared behind King Ghidorah.
King Ghidorah felt himself being pulled backwards. With all his might, he tried to stop it. His talons dug into the ground beneath him, as he struggled to escape the grip of the singularity. "No!" He shouted. "No! Not like this! This wasn't how it was supposed to happen!"
Godzilla got up. The black hole was quickly collapsing. If Ghidorah didn't enter soon, it would disappear. Ghidorah jumped, taking flight against the well of gravity. "I WILL NOT BE DENIED!" he roared.
Godzilla didn't even blink. His dorsal fins began to glow, and with a mighty roar he fired his nuclear ray. It hit King Ghidorah straight in the chest, causing the three-headed dragon to be pushed into the black hole. "NOOOOooo!!!" was all that could be heard as Godzilla's nemesis disappeared forever, and the black hole closed.

Everyone in the room cheered. The psychic and the pilot kissed. The general smiled, and the scientist leaned back in his chair, content. The readings showed that Godzilla was still there, but that didn't matter. The news was heard all around the world that King Ghidorah was vanquished. A few scientists postulated that he may have lived, simply being transported to an alternate universe.
They had no idea how right they were.
