Table Manners
Ghidorah, Rodan, Celestia, Luna, and Discord sat in the cramped train coach. It had been decided that this would be the best way to reach Manehatten, but that didn't make it comfortable for the two kaiju. Rodan was getting antsy, maybe even claustrophobic. Ghidorah felt sore, his three necks forced into a constant, awkward duck. The muscles were beginning to grow tired, and he was getting increasingly irritated.
The train hissed to a stop, and a soldier walked in, saluting. "Your majesties, we have arrived in Manehatten," he said.
Rodan stretched his wings. "Good. I don't know about you, but I've had enough of this thing,' he said, gesturing to the train.
Discord stood at the door, wearing a conductor's hat. "I had fun wearing this, but I suppose it's time for a change in attire," he said, before snapping his talons and replacing it with a top hat. "Everypony ready?" he asked, opening the door.
Celestia and Luna exited the train, followed by Rodan. When Ghidorah reached the door, he looked down on it with hate. Discord quickly remembered the problem. He snapped his talons, and Ghidorah was teleported to the other side. The problem had presented itself when they tried to board the train back in Canterlot, and that had been Discord's solution.
Ghidorah sretched in the Manehatten air, feeling his joints pop back into place. Celestia and Luna stood at the edge of the platform, looking at something in the bay. The two kaiju and Discord quickly appeared behind them, trying to see what they were looking at.
Far out on a small islet in the middle of the bay was a statue. A GIANT statue. It was seafoam green, and was a statue of a mare. She wore intricate-looking robes, and was stood upon her hind legs. Tucked under her left hoof were several books, and held aloft in her right hoof was a torch. Finally, she wore what appeared to be a crown on her head. Celestia sighed with content and pride. "The Liberty Mare," she said, naming the landmark. "It was made over two centuries ago, as a symbol. She embodies everything Equestria stands for,"
Ghidorah's first thought when he saw the statue was how fun it would be to rip it from its pedastal. As he saw the lights of the city turning on in the sunset, he could almost see the glorious fire it would make when it burned. He made a mental note to destroy this place first when he got the chance.
Rodan was thinking something different. He simply stared into the water, ignoring the Liberty Mare and the city. 'I wonder if there are any whales down there,' he thought. 'It's been too long since I last ate whale.' Rodan was a kaiju of simple taste.
A soldier quickly appeared, approaching the group. "Your highness, I have been sent to escort you to the location of the dinner," he said.
Celestia nodded. "Very well. Lead the way."

Ghidorah sat in a chair that was far too small for his size. He looked down at his plate, a generous serving of eggs. He and the others sat at a large table, surrounded by ponies. They all appeared to be of the upper class, something that slightly bothered him. Not only did they have the inherent disgustingness of their race, but they also had arrogance. It annoyed him.
Rodan, however, was having the time of his life. Stuffing his beak with fish, he also chatted with the ponies. "Why yes, I can break mach 5 when I fly! It's nothing special, just what I do!" he boasted.
The ponies that surrounded him seemed fascinated by his tales, which were clearly fabricated. Well, most of them were.
"There was this one time aliens captured me and this guy named Godzilla," He said, before being interrupted.
"Wait, who's Godzilla?" A pony asked in a snooty voice.
"Oh, he's not important. Anyway, we got captured by these aliens, and they took us to their home planet. Turns out they were having a giant, intergalactic kaiju tournament, and they had captured us to participate in it. So, we fought a few kaiju, when a giant metal space squid showed up!"
The crowd gasped appropriately. Celestia and Luna smiled, while Ghidorah merely rolled his eyes. "So the giant robot space squid started shooting lasers at us, and me and Godzilla got kinda annoyed. So we jumped off of the planet and began fighting this thing in space. We couldn't breathe out there, though, so we had to hold our breath. Luckily, more aliens showed up, and they started helping us fight it,"
"Were these the same aliens that captured you?"
"Huh? Oh, no, these were different aliens. They had already blown up the ones that captured us,"
There were murmurs of understanding.
"So the two of us and the new aliens came and fought the giant metal space squid, and after a really long fight, we won. The aliens were so grateful for our help that they brought us home!" Rodan finished.
"Wow, that is quite the story!" the ponies said, enthralled. One mare turned to Ghidorah. "And what of you, Mr. Ghidorah? Have you any stories to share?" she asked.
Ghidorah huffed, about to insult her in some way when he was interrupted by a small voice.
"Hey! Lemme go! I wanted to see the monstahs!"
All heads turned to one of the security colts, who held a filly by the tail. Ghidorah didn't know exactly how to describe her coat color, except maybe vomit. Her mane and tail were ruby red. Unlike most ponies, she lacked a cutie mark. Celestia raised an eyebrow at the guard. "Sorry, your majesty, but this filly was caught sneaking in," he said.
"Let her go," Celestia said simply.
The guard complied, dropping the filly.
The filly walked up to Rodan and King Ghidorah without fear. "So what are you s'posed to be?" she asked, looking at Rodan. "Some kinda bird?"
Rodan grinned, picking up the filly. "Bird? I'll have you know that I am a pterosaur," he said with a smug grin.
"So is that some kind of ugly bird?" the filly shot back.
Rodan smirked. "I like your style, kid. What's your name?"
"Babs Seed. My big sis said I shouldn't try coming in here, but what does she know?"
The kaiju and filly shared a laugh, that was interrupted by a titanic roar.
All eyes turned to the source of the sound. It was outside, in the city. Ponies rushed to the balcony, trying to get a glimpse of the source. "Monster!" somepony screamed.
Rodan dropped Babs before rushing to see for himself. Upon glimpsing the kaiju, he gulped. "Princess, I'm gonna need a little help on this one!" he said.
Celestia bit her lip. Of all places, why did a kaiju have to appear here? She turned to Ghidorah, who merely nodded. "Fine," she said, before charging her horn.
Given their powers once more, both kaiju flew off to battle.
