Dr. Daring Do is used to mysteries in her line of work. An air of uncertainty goes hoof in hoof with archaeology especially when the facts don't add up. In this case, a journal belonging to an airship captain, long since thought dead has fallen into her possession. Little does she know that the knowledge contained in the pages of that journal will take her far from the friendly shores of Equestria, encountering deadly enemies, new friends, and a secret long since forgotten. Can Daring Do find the lost pirate treasure? Or will she join the scores of others in a dark watery grave?

(A.N. I took some liberties with the canon storyline. This world is set when Luna has returned and the Crystal Empire reappears. It's explained in the story. Go easy on me this is my first attempt at writing fimfiction.)
