Chapter 1: Luna's Jealousy?
Equestria, a land of harmony and friendship. The mare known as The Mare In The Moon, or Nightmare Moon, caused this harmony to be derailed. We all know that jealousy helped this mare turn evil, but was there something else?
Luna was sat in her chamber of the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters, staring at her glorious night. She smiled. "Thy night is definately something to marvel. Though I doth not understand why so many ponies don't appreciate it..." She said, lowing her head.
Her head was not low for long, as it was brought up by the wing of her sister Celestia. "Do not fret Luna, someponies really enjoy the nighttime. Ponies need to sleep is all. They can't really do that with a nine-thousand degree sun shining in their eyes, now can they?" She said under a light giggle.
"I can. I doth not know how they cannot." Luna said under a light grumble. "It is my glorious night that I have troubles closing thy eyes under." She looked up at her sister.
Celestia gave a light nod. It was clear her sister began to get jealous. She took a seat beside Luna, nuzzling her lightly. "I understand. You must not grow angered though. You will take rule when my time on this world is over. You understand the responsibilities being equestrian ruler has. You must learn to cope with the tough equities of life my dear sister."
Luna couldn't help but to tear up. She was still just a filly, but she knew her place. She hugged onto her sisters large hoof. "I don't want you to go Tia! I love you so much!" All she could spurt out was that she loved her sister and didn't want her to go.
Celestia gently wiped the young mare's tears away. "Shh Luna...I won't go anywhere. Because dear sister, I will always be with you. Even after my life has reched its end."
Luna sniffled, looking up to her sister. "Y-you will...?" She said under hopeful eyes.
Celestia smiled, brushing her muzzle against Luna's neck. "Indeed. Once my time has passed, you will be in control of all of the cosmos. Since I raise the sun, my soul will be sent to where it truly belongs. Then, every day when you raise the sun, you will feel my presence." She said under a heartwarming smile.
Luna couldn't help but to smile back. "Thank you Tia..."
Celestia helped Luna back to her hooves. "Now go to your chambers and get into your regal outfit. We must adress the Canterlot citezens of the new laws."
Luna bobbed her head, trotting away to her chambers.
"Is it truly what Tia says? Am I actually growing jealous of the sun? No...that is impossible."
