The Bluest Fear: Season 2

"Let's see Rarity, I need to talk to her" he said, so he and Jack parted ways.

"I'll see you later, kk?" said Blu. Jack just gave a quick smile before he flew off to see Pinkie at sugar cube corner. Blu carried on Walking towards Rarity's boutique. "Knock!" shouted Blu as he got to the door. The whole building looked like some sort of giant shoe box. It had ribbon looking designs around the corners and a few windows.

"Hello?" Blu asked. Rarity didn't seem to be in, she wasn't answering. Blu walked to the door, "Rarity, it's me Blu, are you in?" he asked. No reply. He decided that if she wasn't in, she wasn't gonna answer. Blu turned around and bumped head-first into Rarity.

"Gah!" shouted Blu. Rarity fell over and spilled some items she had in a cloud of magic, made by her horn with magic.

"No" she said, "It's alright" she finished. She looked a bit stressed that piles of clothes had landed on the floor.

"Rarity, I'm sorry, let me help you" said Blu. Rarity looked up,

"Blu?" she asked. Blu nodded. He couldn't remember if Rarity had seen him as a pony yet, but she definitely hadn't seen him as an Alicorn.

"Why, you look tremendous. May I ask you when you gained wings and a horn?" she asked, like she wanted wings. Then she stared at Blu's wings with curiosity, "So bold, your wings, they're orange. They stand out" she squealed. She was clearly exited.

"Rarity, that's very kind of you, but I must help you, I mean, I did knock you over", So Blu picked up the clothes with his hooves and put them on his back.

"My dear, why ever aren't you using your horn?" Rarity asked.

"Luna made me an Alicorn, and I don't know any spells or anything. I never went to… er… magic school?" he said. Rarity shook her head,

"You simply must see Twilight about this matter.

"Oh yeah, Rarity?" Blu asked. Rarity looked at him while she opened her door,

"Yes?" she asked. He eyes were closed, but yet, she knew where she was trotting.

"I was gonna see her, but I wanna show Applejack and Pinkie my wings and horn too" he said.

Rarity made a displeased face, "Well, just remember that no-one likes a show off" she said, then trotted into her boutique.

"Alright, I'm actually here because I want to know if you can make me something" he said. She simply nodded and Blu walked inside the boutique. Everything in the place looked neat and nothing out of place.

There were a few stacks of clothes around, each in colour order; there were also around fiver six pony mannequins standing by a broken window with wooden planks nailed to the walls to stop there being a way in for burglars or something. Blu looked over to Rarity, who was working on a sowing machine. "I didn't yet know ponies had electricity" he said. Rarity laughed,

"Darling, we've had that since we've had lightning" she answered.

"Right, well… Anyway, I wanted to know if you could make me a scarf, or a coat or something like that" he said. He assumed that Equestria had the same times as Earth's.

"Oh right, winter's coming up" she mumbled.

He was right, "Well, I shall have to make you a jacket or something, I'll get right to it" she said. Blu didn't want her to do it if she was really busy,

"No Rarity, its fine if you don't want to, but I don't really own anything at all here. I don't even remember what I owned as a human about a week ago" he said.

Rarity looked at Blu with less cute puppy dog eyes, "But, I want to make you something" she said. Suddenly a small filly came crashing downstairs.

"Rarity!" she said, it was Sweetie Belle. Rarity sighed,

"Hold on a minute please" she said. Blu smiled,

"It's alright, I got this, and I met Sweetie Belle already" he said. Rarity smiled,

"Sure?" he asked. Blu nodded. He walked over to Sweetie Belle at the bottom of a set of white, clean stairs. Did Rarity have OCD?

"Hey, Sweetie" he said. She looked up, then blew her mane out of her eyes,

"Blu!" she screamed with excitement. She sat up properly because she was in a ridiculous pose from falling down the stairs.

"Are you okay?" asked Blu. Sweetie nodded,

"Yeah I'm fine. I just wanted to tell Rarity that I've finished with the… jobs and stuff" he said. Blu laughed,

"Alright then" he said. Sweetie looked at the front door and darted off, "Wait, before you go", Blu started, causing Sweetie to stop and listen, "How's Applebloom?" he asked.

Sweetie sniggered, "Well, I wouldn't say Spike asked her out, but they spend a lot of time together" she said. Blu smiled,

"Right, you can go now" he said. She sprinted off out the boutique. Blu looked back over to Rarity, "What?" he asked.

Rarity stood there, with her mouth wide open, "Only Fluttershy can handle them that well" she said. Blu pulled a shocked face and then said in a silly voice,

"Then, from now on… I am Fluttershy point two!" he spoke. Rarity giggled,

"Oh you" she said. Blu couldn't help but laugh too. This was the best time he'd had in a long time, apart from being with Luna and Rainbow.

"Well, I'm gonna get a job too, since I need to pay you for the… whatever you make me" he said, "Well, I'll have to be off now, seeya later" he said.

"Alright dear, and don't forget to say hello to the girls from me, okay?" he asked. Blu nodded and left the boutique. He heard a jingle, from a bell above the door. How come it didn't go off before? Meh, it didn't matter.

"Right, just Twilight and AJ to see now" he said. He walked down the market like before. It had been about ten minutes and didn't expect to see jack until tomorrow at least. He decided he was going to see Twilight, because Applejack never answered the first time he tried to get her attention.

He walked to Twilight's library slower than usual; he was looking out on the market for any sign of someone to talk to, to make sure he was up to date on everything. So far, all he'd see was Derpy, but she was just shopping, and Blu doubted she had any news. He spotted Lyra, the mint green pony from the party sat on a white bench, right outside the library.

Convenient much? He rushed over and saw her with another pony, but she was sat like a normal equine. Lyra was again sat like a human, because he was a human. "Hey, Lyra was it?" he asked. She looked down at him,

"Blu, right?" she said, as if she was teasing him because he pretended not to know her name, but he did.

"Yeah, I wanted to speak to you about the whole--", he started, but was interrupted by Lyra.

"No, don't bring that up, please!" she whispered, jumping off the bench.

The other pony looked over; she was reading some sort of comic, a magazine? She was a beige colour, and had three candies as her cutie mark. He had light blue eyes; they looked like water blue. He had dark blue and cotton candy pink in her mane and tail, in a sort of candy swirl type. She looked related to Pinkie Pie in a strange way. Her name definitely had to be something related to sweets.

"Is everything alright?" she said. Lyra turned around, with a drop of sweat on her face,

"Yeah, Bon-Bon, everything is fine, just need a small talk with Blu here" she said. He raised a hoof and pointed to a small bush which Blu walked over to. Lyra whispered to Blu, "Don't tell anypony please, they don't know and I have loads of fun, if they knew they would call me a traitor or maybe worse" she said. Blu smiled after a brief moment of confusion.

He stepped out from behind the bush and said aloud, [not loud, just not whispering] "Lyra, I was human, do you think that ponies here care? I'm a pretty nice fellow, and hey, I just met you, but you seem like quite a relaxed, fun pony" he said. Lyra smiled,

"I never assumed that they'd like if I was just a human. I suppose I could tell Bon-Bon, but in a day or so" she said. Blu put his hoof on her shoulder, which made her back up a little.

"Relax, I was just going to say that putting your trust in Bon-Bon by telling her the truth is better than keeping it from her forever" he said. Lyra looked around, then smiled,

"Well, thank Blu, but I must be going now" she said. Blu watched her rush off. She was talking to Bon-Bon and then she got up. She walked over to Blu and looked at him, as if trying to read his mind.

"Hi, Bon-Bon, how are you doing?" he asked.

Bon-Bon looked up and down, trying to figure him out. She suddenly seemed to find this pointless and say, "Hi" to him. Blu smiled,

"So, erm, would you say I have a lot of friends?" he asked. Bon-Bon sniggered,

"Nah, you might wanna see Pinkie about that" she said. Blu's ears dropped, which he himself found cute. Bon-Bon started walking away, "If you need anyone to talk to, me and Lyra usually sit here" she said. Blu nodded and left the bush.

He watched them both sit down again, and then walked off towards the library. This was impressive. He'd made friends with Lyra and Bon-Bon, Rarity, and Jack. He walked over to the library door and stopped, for he could see that there was a bucket in the open door. Jack was trying to prank him. Jack suddenly came up next to him, "Hey dude?" he asked. Blu pretended to be thick,

"I seem to have no idea how to open this door" he said.

Jack sighed, "Darn, you've seen through my cunning plan" he said. Suddenly, Twilight opened the door. Blu and Jack shouted in unison, "TWILIGHT!", but it was too late.

Twilight had opened the door and got herself drenched in apparently muddy water. Jack's face suddenly grew very pale. It wasn't Twilight that had left the library. Jack rushed over, "I'm sorry!" he shouted. Tears began to well in the yellow mare's eyes. Her pink mane became a somewhat darker colour and had small bits of twig and grass in it. Fluttershy started crying, with Jack trying to help. She spread her wings and started flying off, followed by Jack.

Blu assumed that Fluttershy had gone to see Twilight about Jack, and Fluttershy thought Jack was messing with her. The trap didn't really help.

Blu walked inside the library to see Twilight shocked at the scene, "Was that Jack?" she asked. Blu regretted not being the victim, and now Fluttershy was.

"Yeah, my school buddy" he said. Twilight walked back a little,

"So, I suppose you're gonna wonder what happened when Alex came back to see me?" she asked. Blu remembered his dream again,

"Actually Twilight, I came to see you about a nightmare I had about Alex getting killed by Luke and Discord" he said in a short sentence.

Twilight gasped, "Killed?" she panicked a bit.

"It was just a dream though, don't worry" he answered back to cheer her up.

"Well, I should tell you anyway" she said. Twilight walked over to a stand and used her magic to pick up a quill. "The Princess wanted me to ask you if you wouldn't mind reporting to her when you learn a lesson of friendship, and I'll speak about Alex later" she said. Blu grinned,

"Well, that was very… straight forward" he said

"Anyway, what's your answer?" she asked. Blu nodded,

"I should write a letter soon, or rather I need to visit her when she isn't busy" he said. Twilight smiled,

"Good" she said, and soon after dipped her quill in a dark blue pot of ink. She started writing something on a piece of parchment.

"You gonna mail it or something?" he asked. Twilight laughed,

"No, silly, spike will send it" she said. Blu assumed he wasn't gonna walk all the way to Canterlot.

"Ok" he said.

Blu looked upstairs, "I hear that spike is busy these days" he asked, knowing that Twilight would probably tell him the same thing as Sweetie Belle.

"Yeah, he hangs out with the cutie mark crusaders a lot now, I haven't the slightest idea why" she said, wondering to herself.

Blu looked towards a few books on a dusty shelf. There were about twenty books here, all entitled "Daring do and the something of something" which Blu assumed to be an adventure series. "Twilight, do you mind if I borrow a couple of books?" he asked.

Twilight grinned, "So you have an interest in written words?" she asked. Blu simply nodded, and said,

"Well, I tend to read more about theories than fiction" he said, Blu suddenly remembered a small part of his life, he loved theories. Ideas than might be true. Twilight smile grew from cheek to cheek,

"Well, I have loads of theory books if you want to read them?" she asked, hinting for him to look in one direction over her shoulder somewhere.

"Sure" he simply replied.

"Alex asked me out!" she squealed. Blu laughed,

"Is that why you were all happy just now?" he asked. She said,

"Yes, I didn't want to tell anypony just yet. There are a lot of ponies here who say I need a coltfriend-" she managed to say. Blu cut in,

"And now you have one?" he asked. She nodded, her pupils seem to have decreased in size. At this point, Fluttershy burst into the library crying, she ran into Blu's hooves. "What's wrong?" he asked with sympathy. She just kept crying. Jack ran through the door too,

"I said I'm sorry" he said.

Fluttershy waved a hoof at him as if to say, "Meh, leave me alone", but Jack simply tried to apologize.

"I was trying to prank Blu, I had no idea you would be here, and I thought you went back to your cottage" he said. Blu knew he had to say something or Jack could become an enemy of ponies like he nearly did.

"Fluttershy, you really should give Jack a chance" he said, then he leant over her head and whispered in her ear, "He has a crush on you, so he really didn't mean it" he said.

Fluttershy topped crying and stumbled backwards, "On… me?" she said, blushing. Blu nodded. Apparently, she hadn't heard him earlier.

Fluttershy had never had anypony had a crush on her before. "So, he really didn't mean it?" she asked, still in her timid voice. Blu shook his head,

"No, he was trying to get me" he said. Fluttershy looked at jack, who was also blushing,

"Jack, do you really have a crush on me?" he asked, very shyly. Jack quickly became the male equivalent of Fluttershy,

"Well, erm… I… Don't know what to say" he said. Jack ran out of the library. Fluttershy smiled,

"Oh, that's so cute. He is shy" she giggled, then ran off after him. Twilight was stood there again, very shocked.

"Yeah, that's Jack for you, one minute he's all cool and tough, but on the inside he's shy and sensitive" said Blu. Twilight smiled,

"Well, I hope it works out for her, it would be nice for her" she said. Blu and Twilight discussed matters over the next half an hour or so.
