"Fluttershy, I need you for tornado duty. Remember all those years ago at flight camp and what I said then?" The yellow pegasus nodded shyly, and repeated it. "Do not give up on yourself, and believe that you can do it. You lose faith and you lose the ability to do anything." ~~~Flashback~~~ Fluttershy flew through the cloud ring and landed. She smiled until she heard a mean voice. She turned and saw her tormentor. "Haha, Klutzershy! Nice job--NOT!" Fluttershy started crying. Why? Why does everybody hate me? Why not anypony else? "You're just a big bully, Hoops. Leave Fluttershy ALONE." Hoops smirked. "Look, Dumb-bell! It's Rainbow Crash, here to stand up for the loser!" Rainbow flew up and grabbed Hoops. "You think you and your gang of mean ol' bullies are superior. But you aren't and in fact you are all inferior! You hurt everypony with all your mean talk and I am SICK OF IT!" the rainbow maned filly yelled. "What ya gonna do, Rainbow Crash?" "Tell the flight coach about this little incident." The others looked a little scared, but Hoops didn't back off.  "Rainbow Crash, you haven't lost yet. Right, gang?" Hoops' followers exchanged glances and most of them walked away muttering the same thing: "Maybe she's right." Hoops suddenly turned and flew away after his gang, yelling at them to come back. and Dash walked over to her friend. "Fluttershy, are you okay?" Tears streamed from Fluttershy's eyes. "N-no." Rainbow looked into her friend's eyes. "You'll always be okay. You aren't a klutz, that was a great job! Do not give up on yourself, and believe that you can do it. You lose faith and you lose the ability to do anything." ~~~End Flashback~~~ "You're right. You really can do anything if you have faith in yourself." Later that day, Fluttershy was flying faster than she ever had before, because she was flying not for something, not for the tornado duty, but for somepony. For her friend, Rainbow Dash. //-------------------------------------------------------// Adelante //-------------------------------------------------------// Adelante- [Sad] [Tragedy] Adelante I'm alone. My mane is a mess. I haven't eaten since the last one died. I'm not hungry though. I'm not sleepy, even though I haven't slept for a week. I just want to die. Just like they did.  My heart aches. Why? Pegasi have longer lifespans than earth ponies, so naturally Pinkie and AJ died before me, but then I had Twi and Rarity still.  Rarity, killed in a freak accident, meant that Twilight and I clung tightly.  But then, she too died of old age. Fluttershy had died years earlier, killed by a mysterious sickness.  The Crusaders are still alive, but it pains my heart so much to see them. Sweetie and Apple Bloom remind me too much of their sisters, and Scootaloo is in the Wonderbolts now, and although she tries to see me as much as she can afford, I am usually alone. I wish that Twilight hadn't made Celestia remove her wings. Because she would have been immortal. And I would still have her. I am slumped on the floor of Fluttershy's cottage. Her animals try to comfort me, but I don't know what they are saying. She made me promise that I would take care of her animals once she was gone. I told her I was no good, and what a terrible job I did when our cutie marks were switched, but the animals mostly take care of themselves, and I am only a visitor, like a good friend who comes over to your house every day. Oh god, I miss them. I miss them so much that my heart can't possibly break anymore, because it's positively shattered. I feel...betrayed. I want someone who will be my friend, somepony who will come and comfort me. I slowly drift into a half conscious sleep, with memories swirling around me. It slowly fades into black as I hear Applejack's voice say "It's gonna be alright, sugarcube. Let go and you'll be safe." I let go of my life as I slip away into my dreams and that comforting blackness of Applejack's voice, that honest southern accented voice, as orange arms drag me into a group hug with my friends before my consciousness fades away. "Dash? Dash, are you here?" Scootaloo sighs and walks out of Rainbow Dash's cloud home, taking flight as she spirals down to the cottage nearby. "Did you fall asleep by the animals again?" No sound comes from Rainbow's lips, and Scootaloo notices that Rainbow isn't moving at all. "Oh Dash..." Scootaloo moans as she hugs Dash's unmoving body. "However you died, I hope you were happy when you did." she says. Of course I'm happy. I am with my friends. And friendship is the best medicine. //-------------------------------------------------------// Missing Pieces //-------------------------------------------------------// The Last Hope- Possible later story built off this? [Adventure] [Sad] Princess Celestia  placed the gemstone necklace around Apple Bloom's neck. "You are the last hope, Apple Bloom." the princess said. "You and Sweetie Belle are the only ones who have not succumbed to the illness, and Sweetie Belle must stay and tend the sick. The gem will protect you while you are gone." "But Princess, why do ah have ta go? Why can't Zecora go?" "Zecora has found a potion to delay the progression of the illness, and is exhausted from working so hard. She can't go on the journey for the cure if she has to make medicines, and as stated before, Sweetie Belle..." The princess frowned. "Why? Ah'll get sick eventually too, ya know." "If you need motivation, Apple Bloom, remember Applejack and Scootaloo.  Remember Ponyville, Canterlot, Fillydelphia, Las Pegasus, Trottingham, everywhere else in Equestria, and Manehattan." Apple Bloom flinched as the princess said the last word.  "B-babs! Is she-" "She's fine.  The sickness hasn't spread there yet." the princess said coldly.  "Fine. Go now. Watch Equestria die.  Watch as Sweetie, and the rest of the Apple Family get sick too.  Become the last pony in the world." "Ah'll go." "Good." "No, no, ah'll go for the cure." “I’m glad to see you’ve turned around.” “Ah’ll be going home now.” “What?” “Ah’m going home to pack, Princess. Ah’m going to pack for the journey.” “Good luck.” “Thanks. Break ah leg yourself.” As Apple Bloom closed the door, Celestia fell off of her chair and landed rather uncomfortably on her leg. “She wasn’t kidding when she said break a leg.”
