She woke up after another restless night; the sun was shining through her bedroom window and reflecting off her beautiful, butter yellow fur coat and her soft, currently un-kept pink mane. She let out a little yawn before sitting up in her little bed and gently rubbing her eyes with her hooves. She got up and walked over to the mirror and stared at the frowning reflection and sighed, “Why can’t she be mine?” she said in her usual, quiet, soft, timid little voice before brushing her hair and heading downstairs to make breakfast.

The cyan Pegasus walked into her bedroom after her morning exercises, sweat dripping from her brow, she looked in her mirror, with an angry, yet confused expression. “COME ON DASH! What’s wrong with you!? You do NOT have those kinds of feelings! Snap out of it!” she yelled, in a commanders type of voice. She just sighed and wiped the sweat off of her forehead before flying out to get breakfast.

“Oh Angel, I just…I don’t know what to do…she’s just so perfect, and well me? I’m anything but perfect…” Fluttershy said as she sat all alone at her little kitchen table, finishing her breakfast with her pet bunny. She stood up and washed her dishes and began doing her daily chores.

Rainbow Dash was just finishing her breakfast at Sugar Cube Corner when she spotted Fluttershy walking through the Ponyville market place.
“Hey ‘Shy!” Rainbow Dash called out as she flew over to the yellow Pegasus, causing fluttershy to yelp and dive to the ground.
“Oh, I’m so sorry Rainbow Dash, you just startled me...”
“Ya, ya, so what’s up?” Fluttershy began rising to hr hooves again.
“Um, nothing much…I’m just picking up a few groceries, what are you up to?”
“Eh, you know, just being awesome and cool as always!”
‘Come on fluttershy…you can do this, just tell her how you feel, she’s loyalty...she would never stop being my friend…would she?’ fluttershy thought to herself. ‘Of course she would! And you can’t tell her how you feel! Your weak! She’s not a disgusting fillyfooler like you! She probably will hate you!’ Fluttershy’s mind argued back, this continued for another five minutes or so before Rainbow Dash’s voice interrupted her thoughts.
“Hey uh…you okay?” Rainbow Dash questioned, tilting her head.
“Um…y…yes, sorry…I was just…thinking…”
“Well, what were you thinking about?” This question caused Fluttershy’s eyes to get large and her cheeks to heat up and turn a bright pink and her heart to race.
“Um…I…I….um…I….” fluttershy stuttered.
“Uh…you okay?” “
Um…Ihavetogo,bye!” Fluttershy quickly said as she ran off”

“Um…Twilight? Are you home?” Fluttershy said as she gingerly walked into the Ponyville library where Twilight lives.
“Well hello Fluttershy! What brings you here?” Twilight said as she walked over to Fluttershy.
“Um...w…well…I was just wondering if um...you might um…” her voice just drifted off, turning into a mumble.
“You….what?” Twilight answered back, not understanding what Fluttershy was saying.
“Well…. I…um…do you? Do you have any books on...um… relationships and…asking ponies out…” fluttershy quietly said, blushing like crazy and hiding her face behind her mane.
“Oh…um…I don’t think so...but, maybe I can help you? Who’s the lucky colt?” Twilight responded, in a helpful tone.
“Um…I...I’d rather not say…”
“Come on Fluttershy! You can tell me! I promise I wont tell anypony!”
“I…I…don’t know…I…I think I’ll just go…thanks anyway…” Fluttershy said, dropping her head and slowly walking out.
“Wait…Fluttershy, you don’t have to tell me who it is but I would still love to help you!” With that said, Fluttershy walked back into Twilight’s house. “Listen, Fluttershy, I know this has been said a million times before but just, be yourself” Twilight said as she rests a hoof on Fluttershy’s shoulder.
“Be myself? But who I am is dumb, im just…shy…and awkward and ugly…”
“Don’t say that Fluttershy! You’re a wonderful mare! And any colt would be beyond lucky to date you!”
“Twilight? There’s something I need to tell you…”
“Well….what is it Fluttershy? You can tell me anything.” Fluttershy took a deep breath in to calm herself.
“Okay…here it goes… its, not exactly a colt that I like…its…Rainbow Dash…”
“WHAT!?” Twilight screams, causing Fluttershy to jump. “YOU’RE A FILLYFOOLER!?” Fluttershy just looks down
“…yes…”
“Get out! That’s just disgusting! She’s a mare for pony’s sake! Just wait until I tell everypony else! Maybe that will fix your disgusting ways!” Fluttershy instantly burst into heavy crying and runs out.

“Oh Angel! They hate me! They all do!” Fluttershy cries as she holds very mean, and harsh de-friending letters from all of her friends except for Rainbow Dash. “I should just kill myself! All of my friends hate me and Rainbow Dash probably doesn’t hates me the most!” Fluttershy got up, kissed her pet Angel on the head and trotted outside to a nearby pond, she looked back at her cottage and all of her animals, getting one last look at her life before looking back down at the pond, her reflection was visible in the clear water, a teardrop dripped off her chin and hit the water, causing her reflection to become distorted as the water rippled around the target area of where the teardrop had it. She began to walk into the water, until she was knee-deep; she pulled out a sky-blue feather and held it to her heart. “I will always love you Rainbow Dash…Forever…” with that, said she walked further into the water, the water level just touching the bottom of her chin. “Goodbye my love…” She exhaled, letting out all the air that was in her lungs and submerged herself in the water, her body screamed at her to rise back up but she resisted and forced herself to stay under water until she passed out, her limp body slowly sinking to the very bottom.

“Fluttershy! Fluttershy where are you!?” Rainbow Dash said as she looked around her house. “FLUTTERSHY!?” she screamed as she saw a few bubbles pop at the surface of the water in the pond. She shot down into the water and came back up with the unconscious Fluttershy in her hooves, Fluttershy was no longer breathing. Without a moment of hesitation, Rainbow Dash shot off to the hospital.

Her eyes slowly opened, a bright light causing her vision to be a blur.
“She is waking up! And her breathing rate is returning to its normal state!” A mumbled, colt’s voice said.
“Hey Fluttershy? Can you hear me?” Said a very familiar voice, as Fluttershy’s eyes began to adjust she could see two “fire-violet” eyes staring down at her, looking very concerned.
“D…Dashie? W…Where am I?” Rainbow Dash sighs in relief as Fluttershy speaks
“you’re in the hospital Fluttershy…you…sniff…you attempted suicide…”
“Rainbow Dash, there’s something I need to…”Fluttershy was cut off by Rainbow dash placing her hoof over Fluttershy’s mouth.
“shhh…I already know…” Fluttershy just looks down.
“i…im sorry…”
“Listen Fluttershy…I’m not really into dating and stuff, but to be honest? I do find you to be a very beautiful mare…Tell you what…I will go on one date with you, and if I enjoy it? Then, well, ill be your marefriend…” Fluttershy’s eyes become huge and a very large smile spreads across her face.
“Really!? You’d do that!?” Rainbow Dash nods.
“Ya, ill take you out tomorrow night, but for now just rest up, you need it…” Fluttershy nods and slowly drifts to sleep with the relaxing feeling of Rainbow Dash’s hoof running though her long, soft mane.

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash land on a distant hill, overlooking all of ponyville after flying around for a while.
“Welp! Im starved! Let’s Eat!” Rainbow Dash said as she set up a picnic blanket and began unpacking a picnic basket. They both finished eating, Celestia’s sun beginning to lower as Luna was ready to raise her moon, leaving the sky a pink, orange mixture. Rainbow dash turns to Fluttershy and holds her hooves. “you know Fluttershy…You are VERY beautiful…Your soft, beautiful, sunshine yellow coat, and that long, soft, beautiful pink hair with those really adorable curls on the end… and your long, dark, thick eyelashes that perfectly compliment your those amazing, hypnotizing, absolutely perfect and gorgeous, adorable eyes of yours…” Fluttershy looked down, blushing heavily from Rainbow’s attack of compliments. Rainbow Dash puts a hoof under Fluttershy’s chin and raises her head so they are looking eye to eye. “Fluttershy?”
“y…yes?” Fluttershy replied, Her heart fluttering and her cheeks deep red in blush.
“Fluttershy….will you…will you be my special somepony?” Fluttershy jumps up and wraps Rainbow Dash in a “Flutter-Hug”.
“YES! Oh yes! One million times yes! Fluttershy screamed, though her voice barely louder than a normal voice.
“I love you fluttershy….”
“I…I love you too Dashie…” They both leaned in, pressing eatchother’s lips together in a kiss.

NARRATION: It’s now been a week since Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have started dating, They were able to convince their friends that true love isn’t a bad thing, and so their friends began to slowly warm up to the fact of them dating. And within a year, Rainbow Dash moved in with Fluttershy and they eventually got married and lived together…as one… After all…Friendship is Magic…But love…is more than that…its Special…
