The changeling elite were abandoned long ago, but a few still exist. Deep under the center of the everfree they live like beasts, feeding on the animals inside of the forest. They survive on actual substance, and while they are the only changelings that can feasibly live like this, they also survive on raw emotion. Hatred, anger, fear, guilt, and sorrow, but love is always the strongest with the changelings and for the elite it is no different. The ability though, has been long forgotten. This is the story of one of the unfortunate souls, who will rediscover this lost form of sustenance, and his name is Winter Knight.
