Chapter I - Cigarettes and Valentines
The train's horn screamed a loud whistle, which means it's about to leave for my trip from Manehatten to Ponyville in 1 minute.
"Why do you have to leave?" my little sister, Golden Cherry said, crying.
"I'm moving to Ponyville," I said, "I'm 18; which means I gotta live my own life."
I can see Golden's tears of sadness, going down her eyes to her nose. Tears began falling down too, but I was holding it back.
"You can visit me whenever you want, don't worry." I said, showing a weak smile.
"Okay," she said, "Bye brother..." she added.
I hugged her and said our goodbyes and checked the time, the train was about to leave in... 15 minutes!?
"Holy shit!" I exclaimed.
Since I was a pegasus, I flew to the train with my luggage behind me as fast as I could and arrived on the train before it was about to leave, lucky me. I gave the conductor my ticket and went in.
"All aboard!" he yelled.
I searched for a seat, but there was none... I trotted some more into the train, full. 'Dammit, I can't find a single seat!' I said angrily to myself. But then I saw an empty seat at the back. 'Nopony has taken it yet.' I thought.
I trotted as fast as I could and began sit on the seat, as I began to sit, I bumped into another pony.
"Hey!" I boomed, I could barely see the pony whose sitting in my 'seat'. With all of that, er, bouncy pink hair in the way, could I really have a chance seeing him or her?
The pony's face turned to me, she had a pink, curly, bouncy hair (I was right!!!) and she smiled, some kind of happy smile. I suppose.
"Hey there!" she exclaimed, "I'm Pinkie Pie, and what's your name?" she asked me. Pinkie looked like she came from somewhere fancy, a fancy party I guess?
"Um, I'm Cyber Star." I said, I noticed I was still carrying my luggage, so I let it go to the ground. "Pinkie, where you headed?"
"To Ponyville! This train leads to Ponyville silly!" she said, laughing.
I facehoofed, I completely forgot. "Oh yeah," I chuckled along, "I totally forgot."
"You better meet my friends!" she said, "They're the best!"
"Really?" I suspiciously asked, "Tell me about them."
"Okay!" she exclaimed.
Hours passed by as Pinkie tells me about her friends, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity and she talked about Rainbow Dash, her best friend. She told me about pranking their friends together and other stuff.
I began to fall asleep, just in time as she was done talking.
"We're here!" the conductor yelled, again.
"Hey Cyber," Pinkie called me, "We're here, let's go!"
"Whuh? Just wait," I woke up, I clearly heard what Pinkie said, "Just fixing my luggage." I added, I took out my metallic blue guitar which I call, "Angel Blue" and began cleaning it with a clean rag.
"Wow! Do you play music?" Pinkie asked me, astonished by my guitar. "Do you?"
"I do play music," I said, "Only, I play rock." I added.
"My friends love rock music!" Pinkie exclaimed happily. "C'mon, I'll introduce you to them when we get off this train."
And so I did, I grabbed my luggage and went out of the train, outside, there was a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane waiting for Pinkie. Pinkie pulled me but I let go and trotted slowly to her friend rainbow maned friend.
"Cyber, this is my best friend, Rainbow Dash!" she said, "Rainbow, this is my friend, Cyber Star!"
"Hi, Cyber." Rainbow said, I could view she was surprised, I could notice why, my appearance. My punk hair, my punk jacket. That's seem to like, punk or either emo.
"Hello, you must be Rainbow Dash, or known as 'greatest flyer of Equestria'." I said.
"Yeah," Rainbow blushed. "Pinkie told you that?"
"Yep, she did told me that." I said, she blushed even more.
"I told him that! And he could play a sweet rocking guitar!" Pinkie exclaimed to Dash.
"He could!?" Rainbow blushed even more. "I'm a big fan of rock music, do you play rock music?"
"Yes, again," I said, rolling my eyes, "I mostly play punk rock songs. But often rock."
"Enough chit chat! Let's go to my house, Cyber!" Pinkie said.
"Well, goodbye... I guess..." Rainbow said.
"Goodbye to you." I smiled, and watched her fly away into the clouds... I kept looking at her, how graceful she flies. I couldn't stop looking at her, couldn't stop...
'SMACK!'
I fell to the ground, I could see stars above my head. I rubbed my head and began to gain control, I noticed Pinkie punched me in the face.
"What did you do that for!?" I complained.
"Just to gain your attention." Pinkie laughed.
"Let's go then to wherever your place is..." I said.
I began bouncing around Ponyville and I followed, some ponies passed by and looked at me with a curious look, but three ponies we're riding on a scooter, which was coming in my way, I flew up and they missed me. 'What the hay was that supposed to mean?' I said to my self, giggling.
I bumped into Pinkie, I saw that she stopped at the Cupcake-looking house. I stared at it, seems weird, all the other houses normal, but Pinkie's house was like a bakery.
We went inside, I was right.
It was a bakery!
There was nopony home, I could say. It was still early, much 2:00 PM in the afternoon. I began rubbing my stomach, which means I'm hungry. Hungry as hell.
"Pinkie, can you cook food?" I said.
"Yes! I can cook!" Pinkie replied, she showed me cupcakes. But I wasn't interested, I wanted FOOD. Not sweets!
"Pinkie, I'm not into sweets right now, maybe a sandwich would do?" I said.
"Oh, I don't do sandwiches," Pinkie said, "But my friend Twilight can! I'll show you to her house."
I nodded, and followed her around. "Oh, wait!"
"Yeah?" Pinkie curiously asked.
"Just going to get my guitar." I said, with a sigh of excitement.
I grabbed it, and hanged it by my neck. I wasn't heavy, so I'm okay with that.
"Let's go." I said.
So, we went off the Twilight's. I played some chords of Green Day's 99 Revolutions, Metallica's The Four Horsemen and DragonForce's Where Dragons Rule. I told you, I was into rock. I could tell Pinkie was enjoying my music, by trying to know the lyrics. It was hilarious.
"We're here!" Pinkie yelled. She showed me Twilight's house. It was some kind of tree with bird houses around, designs maybe?
"Knock, knock!" Pinkie said.
"Who's there?" a voice inside asked. I could hear more voices, different voices.
"Pinkie!" Pinkie replied to the voices inside.
"Pinkie who?" the voices asked, once more.
"Pinkie you glad I'm here? Open the door!" Pinkie joked.
The door swung open and there stood 5 ponies, a lavender unicorn, a white unicorn, an orange earth pony, a yellow pegasus, and the pegasus I met earlier, Rainbow Dash.
"Hey Pinkie! Who's your friend?" the lavender unicorn asked Pinkie.
"Oh, this is my new friend, Cyber Star!" Pinkie said, "Cyber, this is Twilight," Pinkie pointed to the lavender unicorn, "That's Rarity," Pinkie pointed to the white unicorn, "Applejack," Pinkie pointed to the orange earth pony, "Fluttershy," Pinkie pointed to the shy, yellow pegasus, "And you already know, but I'm gonna say the name anyways, Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie introduced me to Dash, again.
They all said hi to me and I replied, "Hi." I felt stupidity in my veins, It's proper to say hi, but I said it like an idiotic pony. Who does that anyways? Answer? Me.
"He can also play a sweet rocking guitar, too!" Pinkie exclaimed.
I began to blush, my talent was just a secret, but thanks to Pinkie, I wasn't.
"Really?" Rarity said.
"I do." I said, that's why I have a guitar, silly.
"Play us some chords," Rarity added, "Would you, darling?"
"Er, okay, I guess..." I said, I began strumming the guitar beat of Green Day's She's a Rebel and began singing the chorus.
"She's a rebel, she's a saint! She's salt of the earth, and she's dangerous" I strummed the chords harder, as if I'm playing live in front of many ponies watching me, cheering me.
"She's a rebel, Vigilante! Missing link on the brink of destruction!" I sang the lyrics, the song was only 2 minutes, the song was pretty short. I reached the last verse quickly.
"She's a rebel, She's a rebel, She's a rebel, And she's dangerous!" I exclaimed.
Pinkie and her friends clapped for me, I knew they liked my song, by the expression on their faces. Of course.
"You we're awesome!"
"You we're great!"
"Sweet moves."
"Let's celebrate!"
I could hear speaking at the same time, but Dash remained silent until...
"Stop saying everything at once!" Rainbow yelled, "He's getting confused, look."
"Er... wha..?" I groaned and moaned.
"You got a point there, Dash." Twilight said, "Let's shut our mouths for a while."
I saw Rainbow reaching out for me, "Hey," she said.
"Hey..." I answered. "Oh, I felt that I drank tons of beers, which I didn't..." I started laughing.
"You're quite a funny guy, aren't you?" Rainbow chuckled. But she immediately took control of herself and pulled me up.
"Er, sorry." Rainbow said, blushing.
"It's alright." I said.
"Cyber!" Pinkie started yelling my name.
"What, what!?" I replied.
"Do you want to perform? Somewhere around here? I know a place." Pinkie became blabbering other things that I don't understand.
"Yeah, I want to perform. But where?" I asked.
"Linen Stripes, it's bar, the staff are accepting ponies to perform a song, or something." Pinkie said. I felt a sigh of relief coming up my mouth, I was about to say it but I quickly stopped it.
"Cool, I'll sign up, meet me there at 7 at night I guess. Later ya'll." I winked to the others, Pinkie and I went to her house and I began packing my stuff out.
I woke up and read the time on my digital clock, "6:45 PM".
"Oh no." I said, "I need to sign up wherever that bar is..." I added.
I got up and went out, and flew around Ponyville finding that 'Linen Stripes' bar, I narrowed my eyes on a pink neon colored 'Linen Stripes' sign shining brightly than the moon.
I flew down and landed in front of the entrance, I pushed the door and went in. The bar was full, I saw the stage but it was empty, 'Imma shine the bar up with some Green Day... and a little DragonForce.' I said to myself.
I went to the counter to ask the bartender about performing, but I wanted a drink, first.
"Excuse me," I said to a blue haired mare in a bartender suit.
"Yes sir?" she said to me.
"Please, call me Cyber," I added.
"Okay, Cyber, I'm Grenade." she told me, I raised an eyebrow so she could see I was serious.
"Okay Grenade, I want a vodka, and... Can I perform onstage?" I asked Grenade.
"Oh sure," Grenade reached out a bottle of vodka and gave it to me. "You can perform."
"Yes! *Gulp* Does this cost any bits?" I asked, drinking my vodka.
"Nope. It's free." Grenade winked at me and I went off.
I putted on my jacket and began climbing up the stairs. Grenade followed me and introduced me onstage.
"We know we don't have musical entertainment for a while, but now, we have a singer, a performer, give your hands up for..." she paused.
"Tell them my name is Punk Star, Okay?" I whispered.
"Punk Star!" Grenade exclaimed, the curtains began sliding out for everypony to see me.
"Wait!" a voice from the back screamed out.
"I'll play the drums if you want Cyber." the voice said out, I narrowed my eyes, it was Pinkie!
"Okay, I guess..." I said.
She took out her drum set and came onstage to play.
"You know the drum beat to the songs I'm gonna perform?" I asked her, just to know.
"Of course!" Pinkie exclaimed, "I know every beat of a song, I play every instrument you know!"
"Ookay..." I said. "My name's Punk Star, and I'm gonna perform for you tonight." I heard claps, but claps of disappointment.
"This song's called," I began to say the title, "Cigarettes and Valentines, originally sung by Green Day."
I began strumming the guitar and began to sing the lyrics of the song...
"I don't wanna go back home, I don't wanna kiss goodnight, let us paralyze this moment 'till it dies!" I sang, I astonished by Pinkie's drumming. 'She's a drumming master!' I said to myself.

I finished the first verse, I began to get ready for the second verse.

I strummed my guitar for the solo, after that, I cleared my throat for the final verses...

I began finishing the song with an addicting beat, Pinkie followed too.
The crowd cheered for me as I began to sing Green Day's Last Night on Earth, I could see Twilight and the others loving what I'm performing, mostly Rainbow. She blushed through out the whole song.
After Last Night on Earth, I began introducing DragonForce's Where Dragons Rule, Twilight's assistant, Spike, loved the song. He even cheered for me when I did the solo.
Then came another DragonForce song, Through the Fire and Flames; by the end of that, everypony cheered for me once again.
"That's it for one night..." I said, but the audience wanted more. I nodded, and began performing more songs all throughout the night.
"11:55 PM", it read at my watch. I was done with performing, heading home with Pinkie, it was late, and well, Pinkie had fallen asleep, I picked her up and went home. I had to pick up my guitar and Pinkie's drum set, of course
A while ago, I had said our goodbye's with my new friend, Rainbow said that she loved the song Last Night on Earth, and she kissed me on the cheek, I couldn't get her off my mind when that happened, I had a feeling, a strange feeling.
By the time I have reached Pinkie's house, I closed the door, and put the drum set and my guitar on the couch, where I slept, I flew upstairs and opened Pinkie's bedroom, placed her on her bed and pulled the blanket to keep her warm. I noticed there was an aircon there, so I pulled the blanket to her neck, keeping her warmer.
I went to my bedroom and lay down like a lazy maid working. Then I slept, and I realized that strange feeling that I had...
I liked Rainbow.
