At the library Twilight Sparkle was reorganizing her shelves and Spike was busy as well... catching some Z's I mean. Suddenly a knock came at the door and she answered it. What she found was a newspaper and she picked it up with her magic and read from it. Local resident Lyra Heartstrings Missing and dead Last night Lyra Heartstrings, under mysterious circumstances, went missing. Although a scream coming from the Everfree Forest incited other local resident: Sweetie Drops to go investigate. What she found was a complete and utter shock. She found Lyra dead. The police said that the cause of death was the complete removal of all internal and external organs which were mysteriously found back in the body but in plastic bags. To see more of this story turn to page 122 Twilight was devasted. Ponyville has had its first disappearance and murder. "SPIKE!!!" She shouted. "Coming!" Spike shouted back. The baby dragon then zipped down the stairs and did a salute. "What is it?" He asked. "Take a look at this. It's dreadful." Twilight said throwing the newspaper at Spike's feet. He read the article and was devastated as well. "How could somepony do such a thing? Ponyville's never had a murder before, or disappearance." He said. "That's true. But I need to know who did it. He or she will not get away with this. No. Not. At. All. Spike send a letter to my friends. Tell them to meet here at 12:00." The lavender unicorn said. The Cutie Mark Crusaders were having a slumber party over at the treehouse and were fast asleep. But they quickly awoken when they heard hoofsteps. "Who's coming up to the treehouse?" Apple Bloom asked. "Go check Scootaloo." Sweetie Belle said. "Alright, alright." Scootaloo grumbled as she got out of her sleeping bag. The orange filly went outside to see who it was and looked at surprise to see a tall slender white pony with no fave walking up to the treehouse and staring at her. "Guys. You're gonna want to see this." The orange filly called out. The other two went outside and saw the strange pony as well. "Um... Are you lost? Can we halp y'all?" Apple Bloom asked. The pony just did a 'come here' gesture with his hoof and that's what they did. "Are you the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" The pony asked. "Why yes we are? You've heard of us?" Scootaloo asked. "Yes. I've heard of your dilema with trying to earn your cutie marks." The white pony said. "Yeah. We've tryed lots of things but still end up with nothing." Sweetie Belle said. "What If I said that I had a way you could earn your cutie marks instantly?" The white pony asked. Immediately the three fillies sparked with excitment but then confusment. "Ah don't know. Twilight told me that a cutie mark only appears when they discover their special talent and that magic can't make it appear." Apple Bloom said. "My magic will." The white pony said. "But your an earth pony not a unicorn." The white filly corrected. "Looks can be decieving." The white pony said. Immediately a black horn came out his head. "You see I'm a sort of species that is both earth pony and unicorn. My family was the last of it's kind. We are very powerful and our magic has no bounds. We cast any level of spell we want. Including Cutie Mark Appearing Spells." The white pony said, "Now close your eyes. Trust me." She then outstretched his hoof and the fillies shook it. Then the white ponies' black horn glowed a dark aura and it surrounded the Cutie Mark Crusaders and then faded away and when the Crusaders landed they looked at their flanks. Apple Bloom had construction cutie mark, Sweetie Belle had a singing cutie mark and Scootaloo had a scooting cutie mark. "All right!!!!!" They shouted. "We can't thank you enough Miss. ..." Sweetie Belle tried to say. "Slender. Lily Slender. But most ponies just call me Slendermare." The white pony introduced. "Well thank you very much. Ah can't wait to show mah sis mah cutie mark." Apple Bloom said excited. As the three were about to take off suddenly Slender appeared in front of them. "Now hold on there. Those cutie marks come with a price." He said. "How many bits do you want?" The white filly asked. "No I don't want your money. But I do have a question: Do you happen to have... FAMILY ISSUES?" Slender asked. "Welllllllllll." The Crusaders tried to say. "Sometimes when ah go on crusading it gets me in trouble with mah sis and ends up with me grounded. It's like all she cares about is punishing me." Apple Bloom said. "Rarity says I'm nothing but trouble and not helpful and sometimes says I'm a bad cook." Sweetie Belle said. "My parents died when I was very young so I had to fend for myself but I do have a loyal adopted sister and teacher Rainbow Dash. But she doesn't exactly show up to any important stuff like school plays." Scootaloo said. "Hmmm. It sounds like they don't care what you think at all." The white pony said. "What? No they're just doing that so that we try to do better." Apple Bloom said. "Oh really? Well I have mind reading powers. Allow me to enlist to you what they've really been thinking about you." Slendermare said. Then his horn started glowing again and surrounded the three in a dark cloud and what they heard was unbearable. "She's been thinking that about me?" The three said together. "Apparently so. They don't actually care about you. They just say that to make you feel loved and cared for so they can ditch you." Slender lied, "Don't trust them. They're nothing but a bundle liers. I'll take care of you from know on. Trust me." He then outstretched his hoof again and the three then shook it. "The deal is done. Return home and don't let your families know about us. And don't let them know you know what they were thinking about you. And don't ever let them know about how I used my magic to give you your cutie marks." Slender monologued. Suddenly the white pony disappeared out of thin air. The three then galloped back home with angry thoughts and sadness and no idea that they have been lied to. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Stranger Among Us //-------------------------------------------------------// A Stranger Among Us Applejack was busy bucking trees and watching the apples fall down into the baskets as usual. Then she saw Apple Bloom trot up to her. "Howdy Apple Bloom. How'd the sleepover go?" "Fine. Just fine." Apple Bloom said briefly, "Can I show you something?" "Why sure." The orange cowpony said. The yellow filly showed her big sister her cutie mark and boy was Applejack excited. "Boy howdy! You finally got your cutie mark. Construction huh? Maybe the next time something breaks we'll call on you." She said. "Yeah. That would be super." Apple Bloom said with a little disapointment. "Something wrong?" Applejack asked. "Huh? Nah. Of course not." The yellow filly lied. "Well if your sure. Say, why don't take that day off? Maybe practice some of that constructing talent of yours in your room." The orange cowpony said. "Okay." Apple Bloom said. She then trotted off towards the house but not before catching a glimpse of Slendermare. She then waved at her and she waved back and disappeared again. "Say who are you waving too?" Big Mac asked. "Uh... Nopony. I got my cutie mark in construction." Apple Bloom said. "Well that's mighty great." The big red pony said and then trotted away. Apple Bloom went inside the house and into her room and got out a tool box and built a bird house. 'Ah knew I was special for something.' She thought. Suddenly a cough came out of her and then another one and another. "Hm. A tickle in mah throat. Maybe some water will help." Apple Bloom said. She drank some of the water and suddenly she felt sick in the stomach and then threw up in a garbage can. 'Suddenly Ah don't feel so well. Wait... Where am I? Oh wait mah room.' Apple Bloom thought, 'Oh. Now ah feel hot. Suddenly... I feel so... Tired.' She then passed out unconscious on the floor. Rarity was sewing up her latest dress and saw Sweetie Belle come in. "How was the sleepover?" She asked. "Great. Now allow me to show you something." Sweetie Belle said. She then showed Rarity her cutie mark for singing and boy was Rarity proud. "A singing cutie mark. I thought it would be for dress making like me. But beggers can't be choosers. You know I could give you singing lessons. I have a lovely voice. How about first thing tomorrow morning?" She asked. "That would be lovely. If you don't mind I'm going to go up to my room." The white filly said. "Very well." The fashionista said. Sweetie Belle went up to her room and suddenly she felt hot. "Oh. Suddenly I feel really hot. *cough* *cough* And why am I coughing?" She asked herself. She put a thermomater in her mouth and gazed upon the temperature. '106 degrees?! I don't remember doing anything that would get me sick. What's happening to me?' She thought to herself. Rainbow Dash was doing some flying exercizes at her usual training field and saw Scootaloo and landed by her. "Hey Scoots. How's it going? How was the sleepover?" She asked. "It was cool. Got a surprise for you." Scootaloo said. She showed Dash her scooting cutie mark. "Whoa!!! Awesome! A cutie mark for using that scooter of yours. That's so cool." Dash said excited. "Yeah. It's pretty interesting." The orange filly said. "Well I gotta get back to my exercises. Feel free to join in with your scooter if you want." The blue pegasus said and then flew back up to the sky. Scootaloo was enjoying the show when suddenly she felt dizzy and then blacked out on the ground. "Scoots?" Dash said confused and landed by Scootaloo, "You okay? Scoots?" She then noticed that she was out cold and then rushed her to the hospital. In the Everfree Forest the Slendermare was trotting around and mumbling to herself. "By now the Crusaders have already gotten sick. Heh... Everything is going according to plan. Soon I'll use them to do something nopony has ever attempted to do... Kill the princesses. But I'll also need some minions. Heh heh heh, time to pay the one known as Fluttershy a visit and to visit an old friend of mine." She said to herself. Then she disappeared without a trace again and all that could be heard was her evil laughter. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Meeting in the Forest //-------------------------------------------------------// A Meeting in the Forest Fluttershy was feeding her animals as usual and then had a bit of trouble trying to get Angel Bunny to eat his carrot. When he finally got him to eat it she decided to take a little rest. When she awoken she found herself staring at Slendermane. One look at him and she eeped and then hid behind the couch. "Do not be alarmed Fluttershy." The white pony said. The yellow pegasus got up nervously and asked, "H-h-how did you know my name?" "Word passes far in the Everfree Forest." Slendermane said. "Everfree Forest? EEP!" Fluttershy went and hid again. "Again do not be afraid. I'm a normal pony. A happen to be a unique species of pony that happens to be both Earth Pony and Unicorn." Slendermane said. "Um. That's verry interesting and exciting. Yay." The yellow pegasus whispered. "My business here is just a simple question. Do you happen to have ponies who TREAT YOU LIKE A DOOR MATT?" The white pony asked suspiciously. "Well. Someponies say that I have issues standing up for myself." Fluttershy said. "You know... I think I can help you with that." The white pony said. Suddenly his dark horn appeared and glowed and suddenly a box with the same red circle and x on his flank appeared and then opened it. There was a black clothes and a mask in it. "Put these on and meet me in the Everfree Forest at midnight. Don't be late." Slendermare said and then disappeared without a trace. Fluttershy looked at the dark clothes and mask and pondered about it for awhile. Then she picked them up and put them on. 'It's now or never.' She thought to herself. At Canterlot Castle Princess Luna was in her chambers reading through books. Then she got paticular feeling that somepony was watching her and she turned around to look into the face of Slendermane. "Who are thou?" She asked. "Your highness. Do you not recognize me? Maybe this will ring some bells." The white pony said. Suddenly his size went to the normal height of a pony and then suddenly his entire appearance changed. Her skin was still white but she had the royal armor on. Except that it had half of the sun guards armor and half of the night guards armor and a horn on his head and a face. "Lily Slender?" The moon princess said confused. "Yes. How long has it been? 1000 years since I last saw you?" The now guard pony asked. "Yes. Where have thou been all these years?" Luna asked. "Took a little vacation from the guard duty and took up refuge in the Everfree Forest. Look how grown up you've become. Although something seems different. I can sense a dark energy force inside of you. That of... Nightmare Moon." Lily Slender said. "You may not know them but the Elements of Harmony: Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy trapped Nightmare Moon inside of me and she's been at bay since." Luna explained. "Hm. What if I told you I had a spell that could purge her from your body and in turn destroy her." Slender said reasuringly. "That's impossible." Luna said. "Really? Well meet me in the Everfree Forest at midnight." Slendermare said and then made a box appear and opened it revealing Luna's hood and a mask, "Wear these so nopony recognizes you." She then transformed back into her Slendermare form and then disappeared. Luna then picked up her hood and mask with her magic and put them on. 'Finally. I'll be free.' She thought to herself. Night-time fell fast and now Fluttershy and Princess Luna were making their way to the center of the Everfree Forest. When they arrived they saw Slendermare appear with her face always blank, white face and black suit with red tie. "I see you both have arrived on time. Remove your masks." He said. They did so and when getting a good look at each other Fluttershy said, "Princess Luna. Your majesty." She then did a bow in respect and Luna asked, "What are thou doing here young Fluttershy?" "Oh Mr. Tall White Pony here invited me here on how to be more asertive. What are you doing here?" The yellow pegasus asked. "That ponies' name happens to be Lily Slender. She invited me here to get rid of the evil energy inside of me." The moon princess responded. "Me and Luna go way back. Before Shining Armor I was the captain of Celestia and Luna's morning and night guards. Then when I heard word about Luna becoming corrupt and turning into Nightmare Moon I knew I had to get away. I hid in the Everfree Forest for the last 1000 years." Slender said. "1000 years?! I'm surprised your still alive." Luna said confused. "I knew one day that Nightmare Moon would be defeated and when that day came I knew I would be needed to return. So I cast an immortality and non-aging spell on me. Unfortunately the side effects of these spells caused me to grow taller, pale white skin, my cutie mark changing from a sword and shield to a red x through a red circle, my face to disappear and my armor to change into a black suit with a red tie. Then I knew I couldn't return... Not like this. But now that I'm needed for help I shall fix both your problems." The former captain said. Then his black horn appeared on his forehead and then was drawing something on the ground. When he was done it was a giant red circle and with a giant red x through it, like her cutie mark. "Stare into this symbol for 10 seconds and all your problems will be solved." Slender lied. That's exactly what they did then suddenly they couldn't avert their eyes. Suddenly two red statics of lightning coursed into them and when it disappeared their eyes glowed red and their corneas had the same symbol on the ground on them. "Now... You shall be my obediant servents in my plot to take over all of Equestria and topple Celestia's rule. Fluttershy... You shall spy on the Mane Six and report me their weaknesses. Luna... You shall spy on the castle. Report to me the guard schedules, alternate entrances, the weakness of the Elements of Harmony and most importantly... Report to me the very weakness of Princess Celestia so I will be able to take her out easily. Do both of you understand?" The white pony said menacingly. They shook their heads in precise timing so they're obviously under a trance. "Very well. Now get to work." Slender said and then disappeared in a flash. Luna then teleported herself back to the castle and Fluttershy flew back to her cottage. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Feeling of True Fear //-------------------------------------------------------// A Feeling of True Fear Twilight was asleep in bed when a knock came at her door and she got up wearily and opened the door. Fluttershy was there and she said, "Hello Twilight." "Hey Fluttershy. What are you doing here so late at night? The library doesn't open for another six hours." Twilight explained. "I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd stop by my favourite friends place to get to know each other better." The yellow pegasus said. "Oh. Well I've always wanted to tell you a bit about myself. Come in." The lavender unicorn said. Fluttershy walked in and then the two sat in the middle of the room. "Well Fluttershy what do you want to know?" Twilight asked. "I'd like to know what your inabilities or weaknesses are." Fluttershy said suspiciusly. "Gee Fluttershy you seem less shy. Are you taking some asertiveness lessons?" The lavender unicorn asked. "You could say that." The yellow pegasus said. "Well I sometimes have trouble with high power magic, my barier can't block level 20 magic, I have a fear of failure and sometimes I'm caught off guard if somepony sneaks up behind me." Twilight said. Then she then caught Fluttershy smiling and she said, "Most interesting." "Um... Okay now tell a little bit about yourself." Twilight said. "Um... I'm afraid I must get back home... My animals need me." Fluttershy said and trotted out the door. She then put on an grin and then proceeded to head towards Pinkie Pie's place. It didn't take long for Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash to figure out that the CMC were deeply sick. They had them put to bed immediately. Apple Bloom was having a really hard time sleeping cause she kept having nightmares. And everytime she woke up she had the craving to draw the Slendermane and red circles with red x through it. The same with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. And for some reason besides all the medication given to them they're illnesses got worse and worse. Later that night Twilight invited Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Rarity for a meeting at the library. "Why did you call us Twi? Ah was busy taking care of Apple Bloom's fevuh." Applejack said. "I was taking care of Sweetie Belle." Rarity said. "Scoots needed my help with her fever." Dash said. "I called you here because I feel something may be wrong with Fluttershy. Later today she asked me what my weaknesses were and smiled and walked back home." Twilight explained. "Strange. That's exactly what happened to me." The orange cowpony said. "Same here." the white fashionista said. "Me too." the blue daredevil said. "Me three." Pinkie Pie said. Suddenly some lightning flashed and a shadowy figure of a tall pony appeared and disappeared. And right where it was standing was a poem, Slendermare, Slendermare, All the fillies try to run. Slendermare, Slendermare, To her it's part of the fun. Slendermare, Slendermare, Dressed in darkest suit and tie. Slendermare, Slendermare, You most certainly will die. Slendermare, Slendermare, Her branching hooves are for collecting. Slendermare, Slendermare, Her face is empty of expressing. Slendermare, Slendermare, She won't let you say goodbye. Slendermare, Slendermare, You most certainly will die. Slendermare, Slendermare, Sometimes hums a lowly drone. Slendermare, Slendermare, She will wander 'round your home. Slendermare, Slendermare, Blends in well within the trees. Slendermare, Slendermare, In the fog she's hard to see. Slendermare, Slendermare, Dressed in darkest suit and tie. Slendermare, Slendermare, You most certainly will die. Everypony in the room was very terrified by this and Twilight called out, "Spike!!!" Immediately Spike appeared and he asked, "What is it Twi?" "Take a letter. An urgent one." Twilight said. "And why so late at night?" The purple dragon asked. The lavender unicorn then handed Spike the poem and he was immediately terrified. "So what do you want to write to the Princess?" He asked holding a roll of parchment and a quill. Dear Princess Celestia, It has come to my attention that I know who Bon-Bon's murderer is. Late tonight I got a poem that told me of somepony named Slendermare and it read that we will end up dead. We need to take action against this Slendermare immediately. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle She then placed the poem in the roll of parchment and Spike blew on it sending it to Canterlot. "Now we wait for her response." The lavender unicorn said. Immediately Spike belched up another roll of parchmant and he read: My Faithful Student, Come to Canterlot the next day ... There's something I need to tell you about this Slendermare. Princess Celestia //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dark Secret //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dark Secret Authors Note: Sorry I haven't been updating recently. I've been busy with a whole bundle of stories and the staring of my new trimester at Seaholm. So now let's see what Celestia has to tell Twilight and her friends. Twilight and her friends were on the train to Canterlot and the lavender unicorn was unusually silent. "Something wrong sugercube?" Applejack asked. "Well I've known Celestia for years and she's never kept something hidden from me. I'm just worried it's something bad. And how did she know about this 'Slendermare?'" "Relax Twi. I'm sure she has a logical explanation." Dash said. "Maybe your right. What am I getting worried all about anyway?" Twilight asked. Then suddenly the lights started flickering on and off over and over and then suddenly same shadowy figure of the tall figure at Twilight's house appeared and was more clearer. It was a pale, white, slender pony with very long legs, a dark black suit with a red tie and no face on it. Suddenly Twilight was feeling really light-headed and felt blood running down from her nose and then she started coughing uncontrolably and throwing up. She then fell unconscious onto the ground. When Twilight woke up she was still in the train and it was at Canterlot already. "Twi are you alright?" The blue pegasus asked. "After that strangely tall and faceless pony only wearing a black suit and red tie that was too dark for it's taste appeared you started getting really sick and you passed out and the tall pony disappeared really fast." Rarity said. "We then decided to take care of y'all till y'all regained conscious." Applejack said. "That's nice of you gals. Now let's go see Princess Celestia." The lavender unicorn said as the five trotted out of the doors. Unknown to them that Slendermare was watching from outside and chuckled to itself. 'Perfect. Everything is going according to plan. With Fluttershy and Luna under my control I'll soon take total control of Celestia's mind and make her my mindless slave and I'll rule all of Equestria.' It thought to itself. When the five went inside the throne room they saw Princess Celestia standing by a window and her back turned to them. "I'm glad you girls came." She said. "Is something troubling you?" Twilight asked. "... ... ... You know about the murder and the other disappearences here in Ponyville in the Everfree. When I got that poem about this mysterious Slendermare ... ..." Celestia said, "This is probably going to sound crazy but... I created the Slendermare." The room then went silent. But then Twilight was laughing a little and said, "That's a good one Princess. You really had us going there." "I wasn't joking." The sun princess said. Twilight then stood there confused and at the same time shocked. "Let me just explain." Celestia said. Before the Slendermare was the Slendermare she was a pony known as Lilly Slender. She got the last name because her entire family was very thin. Although she had a special thing about her: she could make a unicorn horn come up through her head and onto her forehead. When her parents found out they were weirded out and surprised. Over the years Lilly began practicing magic from levitation to teleportation to other spells. Then one day a spell went out of control, the young Lilly's horn started glowing a dark aura instead of a natural green and when the blast went out it encoated her parents and made them disappear just like that. She looked all over Ponyville but couldn't find them. She was devastated and heartbroken. All that was left of her family was her younger sister Violet Slender. They were both admitted to the Ponyville Orphanage. For five years they were there until Luna came in the door. She adopted the two fillies and brought them into Canterlot Castle. When she introduced them to me I was surprised... We had children and we weren't even married. Over the years Lilly focussed on magic while Violet wanted to become a guard. When Violet eventually became one she came to Lilly who was reading through spell books as usual. She was on a specific page that was very strange. It was a spell on how to brainwash somepony and one that could take over the ponies' mind completely. She asked her why she was reading a spell like this and she responded that she's been dreaming about becoming captain of the royal guard and wanted to use spells like these to get prisoners and enemies to surrunder or give them the information they needed. Over the years she did become Captain but took a side job of being a foalsitter. She was very good with fillies and always knew what to do with them. Then one day came that changed her. Many fillies have gone missing and decided to pay my sister a visit. She opened the door a creak and asked, "Princess Luna? I wanted to ask you for help." Then she saw Luna on the balcony looking down on Ponyville and she was chuckling suspiciously. "The day has come. With most of the fillies trapped on the moon I will soon gather an army to overthrow my sister. And the NIGHT SHALL LAST FOREVER!!!!" Luna shouted. Then she witnissed Luna turn into Nightmare Moon and take off into the night. Right then and there she burst into the throne room and told me everything. Then when I used the Elements of Harmony on her and banished her to the moon something changed inside Lilly. Something dark. Over the past few years Lilly started becoming more suspicious. Whenever a guard messed up on duty she would give them a brutal punishment such as lashing and others. And with prisoners she used brutal spells that almost cost them their lives. Then she did something unimaginable. She plotted a revolt against me claiming that I would turn evil like my sister. However it ended in failure as I casted a great spell by accident and changed Lilly into the creature she is now. I couldn't tell if she was angry or sad because her face had vanished. She then disappeared in a flash like that. And then screams of terror were heard and I burst into the guards rooms and saw the dead mutilated body of Violet and Lilly over her. "Lilly! Stop at once!" I shouted. "Lilly Slender is dead. I am now... The Slendermare and I will have my revenge." She said to me. She lashed tendrils at me but I blocked them and then a dark horn came out and black lightning came out of it but I blocked it back to her and she was sent flying into the Everfree Forest. I tried to keep this whole thing under wrap while I sent out guards to find her and none came back. Shining Armor then took her place and I didn't mention Lilly to him. The entire room was silent when Celestia finished her dark story. "I don't believe it. The ruler of all of Equestria and my teacher is the result of a creature of unimaginable terror." Twilight said heartbroken and very confused. "I know it's hard to belive but it was all an accident. I never ment for it to happen but it did." The sun princess said. "Oh how lovely it is to hear the origin of my birth." A voice went out. Suddenly all the lights went out and on again and right at the door was the Slendermare. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Demonic Battle //-------------------------------------------------------// A Demonic Battle Everypony looked in fear at the tall, pale, faceless pony in the darkest suit and red tie 'staring' at them. "Celestia. It's been a while." Slendermare said. "Lilly. What are you doing here? Why have you come here? Celestia asked. "I told you a thousand years ago that Lilly Slender was dead and that I'm now Slendermare. I'm here to do what I planned to do all these years... Take over all of Equestria and put you out of your misery." The tall faceless pony said. "You'll never get away with this. Once my sister gets here she'll take care of you." The sun princess said. "Oh I don't think so." Slendermare said. Suddenly a dark magic blast came out of nowhere and hit Celestia and sent her flying into a wall and she looked up to see Princess Luna flying above them with glowing red eyes. "Sister. You're shooting at the wrong pony." Celestia said. "I'm afraid she can't hear you. She's under my control now. Looks like all those years of reading those brainwashing and mind control spells paid off. And guess who else is here." Slendermare said. And out of the shadows trotted out Fluttershy with the same red glowing eyes as Luna. "Fluttershy!" Dash shouted. "No use. I've got these two in a powerful trance. They'll never wake up as long I'm around. Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh. And once they're done tearing you foolish ponies apart I'll have them try and kill each other and I will rule all of Equestria." Slendermare said, "Now.... SICK 'EM!!!" Then like dogs the two charged at our heroes but they dodged out of the way as fast as lightning. Luna then fired another magic blast at Celestia but she fired one back and the two took to the skies and charged at each other. Fluttershy was using her 'Stare' 24-7 keeping the five remaining ponies in place. "Fluttershy. Snap out of it it's me Rainbow Dash. You're best friend." Dash said trying to snap Fluttershy out of her trance. "You will not interfere with the masters plans." Fluttershy said. "It's no use. The brainwashing spell on her is too strong. The only way to snap her and Princess Luna out of the trance is to find a way to attack Slendermare." Twilight said. "I'm on it." Dash said and then took to the skies, "Hey tall, pale and faceless. Think fast!" The blue pegasus charged at Slendermare and was about to buck it when one of the Slendermare's tendrils grabbed her front hooves and tossed her across the room but then a magic blast got it in the head and into a wall. Then Luna and Fluttershy's red glowing eyes disappeared and went to normal. "What happened?" Luna asked. "I had a terrible dream." Fluttershy said. After looking at Slendermare the yellow pegasus then eeped and hid behind Celestia. "So you broke my mind control spell. No matter I still have the most powerful brainwashing spell of all. I'll take total control of Celestia's body and mind and make her my mindless slave. So I'll still take over Equestria." Slendermare said. Then it's dark horn came up and started charging up. She then aimed it at Celestia and fired away but Celestia fired her own magic blast and the two colided. The two blasts wrestled with each other but the dark blast was getting the upper hand. "Twilight. You know what you have to do." The sun princess said. Immediately Twilight got out the Elements of Harmony and attached them to herself and her five friends. "Alright everypony. Time to end this nightmare once and for all." The lavender unicorn said. Then the six concentrated their energy into the elements and were lifted into the air. Twilight opened her eyes and they were white all over and a magic blast came out of her crown's emblem and it combined with Celestia's magic blast and it overpowered Slendermare's dark blast and the magic blast was tearing Slendermare to pieces. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CURSE YOU CELESTIA AND LUNA AND MANE SIX. I CURSE THIS ENTIRE WORLD. I WILL BE BACK AND I WHEN I DO I'LL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!!!! MARK MY WORRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Slendermare shouted in anger. Then Slendermare exploded in a white veil and was gone. 'Finally. The nightmare is over.' Celestia thought to herself. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue It was a dark night in Ponyville and everypony was asleep but not in the Everfree Forest. Somepony was trotting as fast as she could from something. 'I shouldn't of let it get to me. Now I'm dead.' She was thinking to herself. She was near to the exit but tripped on a rock and bumped into a tree. She then looked at horror at a tall white pony with black suit and red tie on, a no face, it's cutie mark a red circle with a red X through it and black tendrils coming out it's back. It then wrapped the tendrils around the other pony and then all we could hear was her screams of terror. Ponies weren't disappearing, fillies became healthy again, unfortunately the Cutie Mark Crusaders cutie marks disappeared and they're memories of ever having them and meeting Slendermare. The whole town praised the Mane Six as they're heroes once again. Although some ponies still wonder what Slendermare ment by a curse on their city. They're questions were answered in one of the most sickest of all flu seasons effecting Equestria. They're flus went away after three weeks but some still believe that Slendermare is still watching them. Others feel that the Slendermare is right behind them. And some believe that the shadow of the Slendermare is still lurking in the Everfree Forest... Waiting for an unfortunate somepony to wander in and tear them to pieces.
