The Legend of FLUTTERSH
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryAt the end of the Second Era in the province of Skyrim of the realm of Tamriel, Dragons ruled over all races. One such victim was a young girl. The dread Dragon Alduin destroyed her town and everyone in it. When the attack began, she was thrown against the city walls with such a force, she blacked out instantly. When she awoke, she couldn't remember anything, not even her own name. She only remembered a vengeance for all dragonkind and the dragon that destroyed her home. Now an orphan, she was the sole survivor.
Ten years have passed since that fateful day. From the day her town was attacked, she honed her body and her mind. While honing her skills, she killed her first dragon, only to find she absorbed its soul. Longing for answers, she eventually found out that she was a Dovahkiin, Dragonborn!
The details about how she found out about this are irrelevant however. She trained her power of the Thu'um, and finally set out on her quest to slay Alduin, the one dragon she remembered that destroyed her home. With the sword Chillrend by her side, and an almost full set of Daedric armor, minus the helmet, she set out for the dragon's resting place, the Throat of the World. After a treacherous climb to the top, she spotted Alduin. "You will die today. For everything you have destroyed. It's because of you that I can't even remember my own name!" She yelled, yet cried.
Alduin replied. "Foolish mortal. I have seen my future with the Elder Scrolls. And it does not end with you. Heh. This dimension does not suit you."
Alduin roared. A portal opened behind the nameless girl, and she was sucked in. She fell for what seemed like an eternity....

"Where am I?" she said aloud. She walked to the nearest window and gazed into the expanse of space. "Am I... in SPACE? Where did that monster send me?"
A voice spoke behind her. "You are on the space colony ARK."
She turned to the voice that spoke to her, and was shocked. "Who are you? WHAT are you?"
"I am the world's only Ultimate Life Form. I am Shadow the Hedgehog. I saw you come through that portal. This is not your dimension. I can help you get back. I can teach you to perform Chaos Control, so you can travel back through the dimensions. But, you need a Chaos Emerald to perform this technique. Luckily for you, I have a fake emerald that actually works in a genuine one’s place.” He handed her the fake emerald. “But there is no time to teach you now. I must stop the evil Prof. Gerald Robotnik has made. If you wish to learn, follow me! We’re running out of time!”
Shadow sped out of the control room of the space colony ARK. With no other choice, the nameless girl followed. While on the way, Shadow taught the girl the way to use Chaos Control, speeding down to what seemed like they were heading to the core. At the core of the ARK, Shadow stopped. “That’s where I am going.” Shadow pointed at an altar where it seems that a blue and red hedgehog stood. Then, a roar sounded, and a giant lizard known as the Biolizard plummeted from the ceiling. Startled, the girl and Shadow fought the lizard, attacking bravely. The girl used dragon shouts. Shadows used Chaos Spear. With an unrelenting barrage of attacks, the Biolizard fell. They rushed passed the body and up to the altar. They heard the red hedgehog, who actually turned out to be an echidna, chanting “…only you can do this, Master Emerald. Stop the Chaos Emeralds!”
“I’m so confused…” the girl said. Then the Biolizard let out a horrendous shriek and disappeared. Shadow gaped. “Is that what…? Chaos Control is?”
A radio screeched out the voice that the girl assumed Dr. Eggman. “The Biolizard has attached itself to the Eclipse Cannon and is still on a crash course for earth! You two must stop it!”
“I am ready.” The girl said.
“No.” Shadow dictated. “This is not your fight. You must use Chaos Control, and go back to your dimension.”
“I WON’T leave you guys!”
“That isn’t for you to decide. Here.” Shadow handed her a radio. “If you need any trans-dimensional help, you know how to contact me. CHAOS…”
“Wait what are you doing?” She questioned him.
“...CONTOL!” Shadow pushed her through the portal. Stunned by what just happened, the nameless girl saw the next few moments through portal just before it shut. The two hedgehogs harnessed the power of seven Chaos Emeralds, transforming them into golden flying hedgehogs. And then … it closed… “SHADOW!!!!! Talos, no!” she screamed.
She began to weep. A voice spoke to her from behind again. “What’s wrong? You seem to have experienced some…. Chaos.”

She turned to face the voice, and noticed the bright colors of the new surroundings. The bearer of the voice was… actually, she didn’t know what the heck that thing was. It looked like a horse mixed with a dragon mixed with a goat mixed with a sheep mixed with a saber-tooth tiger. “Who-WHAT are you?”
“I am Discord, at your service.” Discord bowed.
“Hmm. Discord. Yeah, that makes sense.” The girl said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
Discord eyed the fake emerald. “That’s a nice jewel you have there. I going to take it from you.”
“Wait, wha-” Instantly Discord stole the emerald and flew away. “NO!!!” She screamed as she chased him as far as she could, but he flew out of sight. She dropped to her hands and knees and began to weep again. She thought to herself, “Talos, no! I can no longer return to Skyrim. How many people are those dragons slaughtering?” She did not want to think about it. She dropped her head and continued weeping and trembling. Then, she heard a voice, very faint but still there. “…uttersh…” “…fluttershy…” It continued to get closer and louder. “Fluttershy.” “Fluttershy!” “FLUTTERSH- wait, you’re not Fluttershy! Who are you?”
The girl looked up to see a pastel purple horse with a horn. “What in the name of Talos are you?” The girl questioned with tear streaks down her face.
“My name is Twilight Sparkle. Twilight for short. You don’t look like from around here. What’s your name? Why are you so sad?”
The girl explained, “I am from the realm of Tamriel. I have experienced amnesia and cannot remember my own name… all I know is that a dragon, called Alduin, destroyed my home, and that I must kill him and rid the world of dragons. I have been flung through dimensions in order to complete my quest, but now a monster named Discord stole my only way to traverse the dimensions… I cannot believe I am explaining this to a pony… As for what you can call me… you shouted FLUTTERSH, correct? I guess that will do…”
Twilight marveled, “Wow. Um… (to the side) Spike, you might want to go home and hide for a little while. (To FLUTTERSH) Well, actually I was calling to my friend Fluttershy, but I guess I can call you that. Actually, your mane looks almost exactly like hers!”
“Mane?” FLUTTERSH asked. “OH! You mean my hair.”
“I guess,” Twilight said, “if that’s what your race calls it. You should meet Fluttershy. She’s really kind hearted. Wait… did you say Discord took your way home?”
She replied, “Yes, why?
Twilight began to look extremely worried, “OH No… OH NO, OH NO, OH NO, OH NO, this is very, very bad. We need the Elements of Harmony, ASAP!”
FLUTTERSH asked, “Elements of what now? All I know is that when I find that part dragon, he will taste the chill of my blade…” She unsheathed Chillrend and brandished it.
Twilight disagreed. “No. Only the Elements of Harmony can stop him… we should probably get going.” And so the search for the elements began.
Eventually, through events that are not important to FLUTTERSH’s legend, the two discovered the Elements of Harmony, gathered Twilight’s friends, endured a myriad of musical numbers from the pink one, FLUTTERSH met Fluttershy and commented on how their hair and mane looked almost exact, and now they are going to confront Discord.
Along the way, utter chaos was raging. And not the good kind. They were getting close. When they reached Discord, he was sitting on a makeshift throne. Discord laughed, “Why hello, dear. It’s so good to see you again! I must say thank you for that jewel you let me take! It truly is beautiful.” FLUTTERSH drew her sword. “Oh foolish mortal, do you think that can harm me? I am Discord! Take your best shot!”
The words ‘foolish mortal’ brought back painful memories to FLUTTERSH’s mind. She dashed towards Discord and impaled him with the bitter cold of Chillrend. “Well…whaddya know… *cough cough*” Discord gasped, “you really could harm me…Ha…ha…ha…” With Chillrend still plunged inside Discord, FLUTTERSH reclaimed her Chaos Emerald that dangled from the beast’s hip. She withdrew the sword and Discord slumped. She walked back to the ponies, who had adorned themselves with the Elements to defeat Discord. They were utterly shocked and stunned at what just happened. “Hey, Twilight,” FLUTTERSH called, “can you program that horn of yours to pick up radio frequencies?”
“Probably.” She replied. And so they did.
“If you need any trans-dimensional help,” FLUTTERSH said, “You know you can call me. Chaos…Control.” And a portal opened. As she stepped through, she could hear cackling. She turned around to see Discord, still alive! “I told you that weapon would be of no use! Mwahahaha!” Discord continued to cackle. As soon as FLUTTERSH realized what was happening, she tried to jump through the portal again, but it was too late. The portal had closed again. “Talos! Why does this keep happening? First Shadow, now them?” She trudged onward, sobbing, on a ship that seemed to be in space, which at this point was nothing new to her. Then, she felt a huge hand on her shoulder………

“What’s wrong?” A deep voice asked. She spun around to see what looked to be an armor clad man. She couldn’t make out the face because it was covered with a helmet. “Who are you?” FLUTTERSH asked.
“I am Petty Officer John 117. I am an augmented super solder called a SPARTAN II. Most soldiers just call Master Chief. That’s the short version. How did you get here?” And so FLUTTERSH relayed her entire previous adventure to the super soldier. “Sounds like you need help.” The Chief observed. “We have not seen dragons in millennia. But, I think I might be able to help. Are you ready for some new training?”
She paused. “Yes.” FLUTTERSH replied. And so it began. The Master Chief trained FLUTTERSH in all kinds of future weaponry. FLUTTERSH’s body was pushed to the limit. She pushed harder even when she had nothing left to give. When finally, the Chief nodded and said, “You’re ready. You may not be a SPARTAN, but you’re ready.” FLUTTERSH beamed she was finally able to slay Alduin. “Give him a rocket for me.” The Chief said.
FLUTTERSH smiled. “Will do. But what about you?”
“I’m going to finish this fight. The Flood is consuming every sentient being in the galaxy. The only way to stop them is to blow the ARC, the thing that creates the Halos, a super weapon to wipe out all sentient life in the galaxy. The Halos have been called back to it. This is what I have to do.”
FLUTTERSH was determined to help this strange soldier. “I’m coming. You’ll need me.”
John responded. “Grab some rockets.” Just then, a face appeared on the CPU screen. It spoke. “You ready, Chief?”
He replied. “More than ready, Johnson.” He stepped aside and showed Johnson FLUTTERSH. “You ready kid?”
FLUTTERSH nodded. They jettisoned out of the ship to the giant ring world, which FLUTTERSH assumed to be a Halo. In a matter of moments, they were on the ground. The Chief opened the hatch. Fighting through hordes of Flood, they made their way up to the control room. Inside they met up with SGT. MAJOR Avery Johnson, the man on the CPU screen.
Inside the main control room, a peculiar flying robot ball appeared. “I am 343 Guilty Spark. I am the controller of this installation.” It spoke. The Chief tossed what seemed to be a computer chip to Johnson. “I won’t lose her again.” Johnson affirmed. The Chief nodded. Johnson plugged the chip into the main control. Lights began to flash red with warning signals echoing through the control room. The Guilty Spark fumed as its eye turned red. “What are you doing? Those codes will destroy the Installation!”
Johnson replied, “Exactly.”
“NO!” the monitor raged, “I see what is going on! You will NOT destroy my Installation!”
“Tough luck.” Johnson replied. As he walked away, the Guilty Spark fired a laser that landed square on Johnson’s back. He fell to the ground. But he was not dead yet. With a laser of his own, Johnson fired his last shot. Momentarily stunned by what they just saw, John and FLUTTERSH leapt into action. Firing round after round of their weapons, they could see the Guilty Spark losing its vitality.
But just then, *click* FLUTTERSH was out of ammo. She did not know what to do. Then, one last idea popped into her head. She grasped her emerald and breathed, “Chaos… Control!” Time stopped she could see the Chiefs rounds just floating in midair! But there was no time to lose! She unsheathed Chillrend and dashed for the monitor. Just as time was reverting to normal, she leapt into the air and sliced the guilty spark in half. They relaxed and knelt by Johnson’s side. The Chief spoke to him. “Hang in there. We’re going to get you out of here-”
“No,” Johnson coughed, “Not this time. You’ve come too far. Do it. Ignite the Halo. *cough cough*” Then, his voice became very quiet as he handed the computer chip to John. “…Send me out… with a bang…”
Johnson let go of the Chief’s hand. His body fell limp. He was dead. FLUTTERSH mourned. The Chief walked to the controls. Then, he turned around and a laser beam shot up behind him. He spoke to FLUTTERSH, “It’s time for you to go back where you belong.”
“But what about you?” She protested.
“I thought I’d shoot my way out, mix things up a little.”
“But what if you don’t make it…”
“I’ll make it. If you need me, we have already set up a com link.” He handed her a rocket launcher, and she remembered the promise she made to him just after she finished training. “Alright, Chief. I guess this is good-bye… Chaos… Control.” A portal opened up to what seemed to be the Throat of the World. She stepped through and saluted to the super soldier. The portal closed shut…
_____________________________________________________________________________
“Well, foolish mortal,” a throaty voice boomed behind her, “It’s been a long time. Nearly two eras have passed since I sent you through the portal. And you have not aged a bit. Krosis…” FLUTTERSH spun around, “ALDUIN!” she yelled. “I am going to end you once and for all!” She drew out the rockets that John had given to her. She fired rocket after rocket, but it seemed to harm him very little. She was down to her last rocket.
Not wanting to waste it, she put away her rockets and began to use dragon shouts. But one by one they all failed save the shout Dragonrend, which pulls dragons to the ground. She came running with Chillrend. She sliced a few times at his face, but she was just thrown aside like a rag doll. Again she tried, and again she failed.
With multiple tries, she came out with the same results. Her physical strength was running thin. She brought out her last rocket. “Gotta make this one count…” She fired it. But, Alduin caught it in his claw and flung it back at her! She dove to dodge the blast radius, but was still wounded by it. “Foolish mortal,” Alduin bellowed, “You thought you could defeat me alone? Hah! You cannot best me!”
FLUTTERSH gasped for air. “He’s right… I can’t do this alone… I need help…” she reached for her radio. “Shadow! Twilight! John! I *cough* need you guys! I don’t think I’m *cough* gonna make it…” Instantly a portal opened and the blue hedgehog from the altar on the space colony ARK walked through.
“Hey, it’s you! We never did get to meet, with that whole Biolizard thing and all. The name’s Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog. I got you’re call for help.”
FLUTTERSH looked around. “I’m called FLUTTERSH. Where’s Shadow?” She asked as she slowly stood up.
Sonic grew quiet. “He didn’t make it…” He said solemnly. “He gave his life to defeat the Biolizard. He saved our planet… he was who he was… a brave and heroic hedgehog…” FLUTTERSH was devastated by the news. Sonic declared, “But it looks like you have more important problems at the moment.” He nodded to Alduin. “Weren’t you calling for some other people?”
She nodded and used the Chaos Control as she wiped away her tears. Two more portals opened. Out of one stepped Twilight and all her friends, adorned with the Elements of Harmony. Twilight explained, “I got your message, and gathered all our friends as fast as I could.”
The rainbow one spoke. “Yeah! We never leave a friend hanging!”
Out of the other portal, FLUTTERSH’s mentor, the Master Chief, readied his rifle, and said, “Are you ready, kid?”
FLUTTERSH’s strength returned to her. She replied, “More than ready.”
Alduin scoffed, “Hah! This is laughable! A foolish mortal, a blue porcupine, a soldier, and six pastel colored horses? This will be enjoyable!” They all charged at him with everything they had. The Chief wounded him greatly with his precise shots of future weapons. Sonic struck with his swift homing attack. “You’re too slow!” he taunted. This made Alduin angry. During his rage, FLUTTERSH dashed up and severely wounded the dragon. “WHAT?!” Alduin roared, “How can this be?! I cannot die here! I shall rule all realms!”
Everyone gathered together for one final attack. The Chief steadied his rockets. Twilight and her friends charged the Elements of Harmony. Sonic grinned. Then, it began.
The Chief fired many barrages of rockets. The Elements of Harmony shot a blast from Twilight and her friends as Sonic used Chaos Control. While frozen in time, FLUTTERSH dashed towards Alduin with Chillrend drawn. Time was beginning to unfreeze. She leapt as the Elements of Harmony held him in place. She drove her sword deep into Alduin’s heart. The dragon shrieked as she absorbed his soul, as that is what Dovahkiins do. That was the end… Alduin was no more.
FLUTTERSH walked over and spoke to her friends. “Well, guys, it’s finally over. It’s been an interesting adventure. I guess this is it. If you guys need help, you know how to contact us.” She flashed her radio and they all nodded. Then, Twilight said, “Wait, I picking up an SOS… From a land called High-rool… Apparently they have an evil pig monster terrorizing everyone.” FLUTTERSH and Sonic nodded to each other and smirked. They said in unison, “CHAOS CONTROL!” and a portal opened to their next adventure. But that’s a story for another day.
The Dovahkiin who had forgotten her own name on that fateful day underwent an insane adventure in search of the King of Dragons, Alduin. It was because of the girl’s valiant efforts that Sonic and Shadow were able to stop the Biolizard and save the planet of earth. Her efforts also allowed Twilight and her friends to turn Discord into stone. Finally, her she fought valiantly with the Master Chief against the Flood and 343 Guilty Spark in order to fire the halo, and save all sentient life. FLUTTERSH went on MANY more adventures through time and space and is forever known as the Heroine of Space-Time. While this adventure may be over, the possibilities for a new one are endless.
