To the average citizen, this would just be another day, but it wasn't for the small group of people hiding out in the historical land mark from Italy. What used to be scenic was now covered with over grown vines. But the outside, being shined down upon by the moon, wasn't what was important about this manor from times long forgotten. What was important, was the advanced circuitry funneling from consoles to a high teck looking chair in the middle. Walking around the room were two girls and two boys.

"Anyone have an idea of what to do?" asked one of the men asked, pacing about halfway between the chair and an ascending staircase. This one had an outfit of various colors. Bluejeans, black sneakers, A black shirt being covered with a white sweat-shirt, and bag on his back. His hair was cut very short, and was brown.

Rolling his eyes out of annoyance, the other man asked very sarcastically, "I don't know Desmond, maybe more training!" This figure adorned black formal shoes and pants, a grey shirt on his chest, and black glasses being held up by his nose. His short chocolate brown hair was rounded so it formed a dull spike at the center.

"I think I have made my quota and I have already 'lived' through the notable memories of Ezio." Desmond replied to the man before turning to one of the women fiddling with a console by the chair, headphones on like always. "What do you think I should do Rebecca?" He asked.

"Well," She said looking in the vague direction of Desmond without stopping typing on her keyboard. "You can't train like Shaun said because I'm installing some upgrades to the Animus's feedback, so I don't know... check your email?" The computer wiz currently looking at her computer again, wore dark tan pants and shirt, one red glove and one tan one, and red-brown shoes. Her hair was very short, and parted on the right side of her forehead.

"Might as well! Got nothing better to do." Desmond replied as he moved over towards his computer. On his way though, he looked towards Lucy. She was sitting at her desk, In her blue-jeans and white shirt being covered by a brown jacket. She had short blond hair, and a bang hanging from each side of her head.

"Guys..." Rebecca said slowly, either ignored or not heard. "Guys." She said more firmly this time, still not heard. "Guys!" She nearly shouted, everyone quickly focused on her. She was staring at a full screen of code, with a mixture of curiosity and horror at the same time.

"What is it now?" Shaun asked half sighing as he said it, he knew it would be bad news if she was like that.

"Come over here everyone!" She said, now scared. Everyone gathered around her, looking at the screen as well, but not understanding all of the 1's and 0's.

"What is it?" Lucy asks her confused. Rebecca pointed at a chunk of code, somewhere half way down.

"We don't get it luv, explain or I'm going to go back to staring at my computer and pretend to do work." Shaun said.

"See this?" She asked as she pointed at this group of numbers: 10011001 10101010

"Of coarse we see it, we have eyes! What's the point?" Shaun sarcastically said.

After turning around and glaring at him, she pointed behind her at the code saying, "It used to be '10011001 10011011'!" She says, almost to the point of screaming.

"What does this code represent?" Lucy asked staring at her seriously.

"This screen of code represent Ezio's memories." She says, only to see that everyone is confused. She continues, "In the last minute, Ezio's memories changed." She finished, now seeing that everyone is still confused. Sighing heavily she summarized, "History just changed."

"WHAT!?" three voices resounded through the walls.

It was the height of the renaissance, and the city of Venice was bustling. Merchants sold items, all through out the market. Painters and musicians could be found on almost every corner, able to listen or see their work at any time. Even the occasional child could be seen playing in the streets, with their mother close by. All were so content, that they did not notice the hooded man silently and nimbly dodge between people as he ran through the street. Until, of course, they saw the massive horde of guards shoot through the street in hot pursuit.

That was not what was important at the moment, though. What was important, was the swirling magical hole in the very fabric of space and time that appeared in the sky a couple feet above the massive plain outside of the city. No one noticed it, being that they were in Venice. But, if anyone were to be looking at it... They would have seen a weird woman with purple hair fall through.

"OW!" Twilight said upon impact.

The Art Of The Hub

by: Discord

I did not have the 'privilege' of being born equestrian soil. I was born in the void. In order to not be lonely, I made portals to dimensions. But, as soon as I went in one... I couldn't get back. This resulted in "The Dark Ages" for all of Equestria. When I was finely sealed in stone, I thought about magic for the 2000 years. When I was released from my prison by three little fillies, they were causing chaos in front of my statue! They said something about crusading. Anyway, I had enough time to invent a spell that returns me to the void! However, you have to open a tear in the fabric of the universe and then close it once you're inside. The spell is on the next page.

It took awhile, but everyone had finely calmed down. At this point, everyone was stand in a circle around Desmond who was in the Animus looking through the menu. "So it's in the 'Memories' section, right?" He asked with his eyes closed, faced scrunched up as if thinking heavily.

"Yes, it should be somewhere near the end." Rebecca said calmly, although inside there was a struggle not to bite her nails.

There was a long silence as his eyes shifted slightly under there lids before a sound escaped from his lips, "Found... it?" He said, sounding puzzled. His right brow lifting as far as his face allowed.

"What is it!? How is history changed!? What will be the repurc-" At this point, Shaun put a hand over the techies mouth.

Turning towards the group again, he asked Desmond, "So, why were you confused?" Surprisingly lacking in sarcasm.

"Well, um... You know how when you 'live' a memory, it turns red?" Desmond asked

"Yes..." Lucy trailed off.

"And how if you haven't done anything with it, it's grey?"

"Yes..." Lucy trailed off again, knowing something was off.

"I may have found a chunk of memories that's green." Desmond said, scrunching his eyebrows in confusion.

An eerie silence filled the room "So, we going to load it up or what?" Shaun broke the ice.

"Why not?" Rebecca said.

"Do I have a say in this?" Desmond asked

"Speak now, or for ever hold your peace." Shaun said. Desmond opened his mouth to object only to be cut off by Shaun quickly saying, "Times up! See you down the rabbit hole." Shaun quickly interrupted.

Rolling her eyes, Lucy said "See you on the other side."

"Start it up Rebecca." Desmond said.

"Good luck." She said before flipping a big red lever.
