A purple unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle was reading one of her books. Twilight lived in Ponyville’s library. Twilight loved to read her books; she had books of every kind. Books about magic and books about history, and then there books just for a good read. Twilight had read all her books cover to cover at least ten times each, some more than that. She had been called an egghead a lot by her friend Rainbow Dash, she does not care that her friend called her an egghead, because Twilight loved to read. She had let Rainbow Dash borrow some of her books.

“Twilight you’re going to be late meeting with your friends.” Called out a voice of a young male dragon known has Spike. Spike was twilight bookkeeper and assistant. Spike is the only dragon that lived in Ponyville. Twilight didn’t hear him for she was too involved with her book. The young dragon pick up an ink bottle and sat it down.

“Spike put that back right where you found it, you know how I like thing in there right place.” Said Twilight still reading her book, Spike put the ink bottle back and walked over to Twilight.

“Twilight you read that book fourteen times now. What about your friends?”  Said Spike has he rolled his eyes. Twilight sat the book down and went up stairs to brush her mane. Spike went up stairs with her. Next to Twilight’s bed was her pet owl sleeping the day away.

“Spike you had no reason to worry, I would never forget about my friends.” Replied Twilight has she brushed her mane. Spike just rolled his eyes again. When Twilight was all done she went back down stairs and made sure she was not forgetting anything. Twilight was ready to face the day.

It was a beautiful afternoon day in Ponyville, there was not even a cloud in the sky, and the day was not too hot. Twilight Sparkle and Spike were walking down the road to hang out with their friends at Sugar Cube Corner. Twilight was very happy to see friends after a long day reading a good book. Everypony in Ponyville knew each other very well, Twilight liked the small town fill, and it was easy for her to make friends. When they got to the meeting place all of Twilight’s friends where there. There was the blue Pegasus pony named Rainbow Dash, a yellow Pegasus named Flutter Shy, an orange earth pony named Apple Jack or AJ for short. Then there was the white unicorn name Rarity. The last one was the pink earth pony known has Pinkie Pie, who was in the store somewhere. Rainbow Dash loves danger, adventures, flying, and most of all being awesome, well Flutter Shy is very quiet and likes to take care of woodland creatures. Rarity has her own fashion store where she makes and sells dresses she makes. Apple Jack is a hardworking pony, mostly because she lives on an apple orchard. Pinkie Pie love sweet, parties and pulling jokes on other ponies. Spike sat up at the front of the store eating some cake well Twilight and her friends talked about life, work and other things girls would talk about. Sugar Cub Corner was where Pinkie walked.

“So Rainbow Dash you got your work done today quicker than a group of youngsters getting into trouble.” Said AJ has she gave Rainbow a gentle punch.

“Yea it was nothing. Those clouds had no idea who they were dealing with.” Replied Rainbow has she was just getting warmed up.

“Yes Rainbow good job, but don’t let your ego get the better of you again.” Said Twilight with a little laugh in her voice, Rarity was talking to Flutter Shy about her new line of dress that she just made and sold. Well Flutter Shy does not wear dresses very often she did like to hear about what great things her friends are doing.

“So Flutter Shy you got some new animals your taking care of.” Asked Twilight so she would have the chance to talk to her, Flutter Shy loved to talk about all her little creatures.

“Oh yes I’m taking care of to otters that got hurt a few days ago.” Said Flutter Shy in her sweet kind voice, when Twilight first met Flutter Shy, she would even talk to her, but she would talk to Spike. Apple Jack was hoof wrestling with Rainbow Dash for some reason. Pinkie Pie came out of the back room ready to hang out with her friends and eat sweets with them.

“Hay every one what’s up!!” Said Pinkie with a load voice, all her friends waved at her, well AJ and Rainbow Dash were still hoof wrestling. Once Applejack beat Rainbow Dash, she started to talk with Pinkie. Well Rainbow Dash was brooding over the fact she lost to AJ.

“Did you hear that Vinyl was holding a rave party next week yawl?” asked Applejack knowing that pinkie loved parties.

“Oh yes I did AJ! I’m thinking about going myself.” Repelled Pinkie has happy has can be has she jumped up and down.

“AJ do you even know what a rave is?” asked Rainbow Dash has she was very surprised that Apple Jack would like that kind of thing.

“No idea, all I know that Vinyl ask to buy some of my family’s apples.” Said Applejack proud of the huge sell that her family had got, Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes.

“Rainbow, what is a rave?” asked Flutter Shy as to see if she would wont to go.

“Flutter Shy trust me you would hate it.” Said Rainbow Dash has put her hoof on Flutter Shy head and gave her mane a little rub.  Then the doors to Sugar Cub Corner opened up and two ponies came in, one of them was a white unicorn and had a blue mane, well the other one was a grayish earth pony. They were some of the best musician in Ponyville. Then unicorn was called Vinyl or DJ, well the earth pony was called Octavia. They sat down at one of the tables and began to talk about music and other things. Vinyl is a lot like Rainbow Dash, she loves doing awesome thing. Vinyl is very well known, she was the DJ at the wedding of Twilight’s older brother Shining Armor. Well Octavia was one of the greatest cellists in Ponyville. She was lead cello at the Grand Galloping Gala last year. Apple Jack walked over to the table where Vinyl was sitting.

“Hay there Applejack how is it going?” asked Vinyl has she used her magic to pull her shades of her eyes.

“Oh I’m doing good, say when are you going to stop by the farm to pick up your order? Asked Applejack has she shocked Vinyl’s hoof.

“About this afternoon after I meet my glow stick dancer coming from Canterlot.” Repelled Vinyl has she pumped her hoof in the air.

“Oh Vinyl, I can’t believe you want somepony to take the train all the way from Canterlot to dance in your party.” Said Octavia has she sipped at her tea.

“Well Octavia you do the same thing when somepony wants you to play cello for their party.” Said Vinyl has she gave her roommate a little push. Spike walked over to Twilight and the rest of her friends. Applejack walked back over to her table, the rest of them where having a great time when Spike stopped talking when he shot a green emerald flame out of his mouth and a scroll came out of the flame. Twilight opened it with her magic; it was a letter from Princess Celestia. It read.

Dear Twilight and friends.

I have some great news for all of you. Ponyville will be getting three new citizens today. I want you to make them feel at home, also they need jobs, I know that Applejack needs help at the farm so one of the will be working at Sweet Apple Ackers. One of them will be working at the party that Vinyl is hosting, well the last one will be helping out Twilight with her studies. There not form here around here. Also Twilight I’m have a new book for you to read, about hopefully your new friends.

“So there not ponies?” asked Rarity has she read the letter again.

“It seems that way Rarity.” Said Applejack has she took the letter from Rarity to read it herself.

“Let’s throw them a welcome party!!” shouted Pinkie, Fluttershy Jump in the air, because she was not on guard for the loud noise of Pinkie.

“Well let’s go over to my place and read about those three coming on the train this afternoon.” Said Twilight has she loved meeting knew friends just has much has she loves to read.

“Twilight I can tell you about the one dancing at the rave.” Said Vinyl has she walked over to Twilight.

“Ok, what do you know?” asked Twilight has she put her hooves together.

“Well. Ok then. The dancing at the rave is a grey wolf, named Alex.” Said Vinyl has put her shades back on. Twilight’s friends seemed shocked, after the only wolves they knew of where timber wolves.

Back at Twilight’s place, Twilight and her friends saw the book that Princess Celestia gave Twilight. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy where flying over all the others when Twilight read her new book.

“This is the book about a group of creatures known has the Anthromals are basically cat and dog like creatures that walk on two paws not four. Anthromals no longer live in their home land.”

“So basically there are cats and dogs that can talk and walk on two legs.” Said Twilight trying to see how this could be.

“Well how are there some of these Antromals left in the world?” asked Applejack has she was trying to think of ways to reason that there are some anthromals coming to Ponyville. Fluttershy seemed to be happy about getting to see some anthromals in real life. Pinkie Pie was all ready planning her welcome party for them. Rarity was thinking about to getting the something to wear, Rainbow Dash could care less about what they where and more who they are. Twilight kept reading till she got to their diet.

“Say Everypony the book says that their diet is meat.” Said Twilight has she was thinking where could they find meat in Ponyville.

“Sugar Cub, there’s a lot of meat in Ponyville.” Said Applejack has she walked over to the bookshelf.

“What do you mean Applejack? There is only fish in the river.” said Twilight has she walked over to Applejack.

“Twilight, Everypony in Ponyville is meat in their books. So we could find ourselves in their belly. Everypony but Pinkie Pie froze with fear.

“So why would the Princess send them here, I’ll trust her on this one and you all should do the same thing. Look at Vinyl she is cool with this, so I’ll be cool with it to.” Said Twilight has she got ready to go to the train station to met them.  Rainbow Dash knew she could trust the princess with her life, so she was cool with it to. Pinkie Pie loved meeting new ponies so Twilight was thinking that have them here would be fun. Only AJ and Rarity did not like idea, and Fluttershy was still scared about the whole idea of meat eaters coming to Ponyville.

Later that afternoon Twilight, Applejack, and Vinyl where waiting for the train to come. Applejack and Rarity did not like the idea but they did trust the princess. It was hour before the train got there.

“So are you ready to meet them?” asked Twilight has she got up from sitting down.

“Yes. I sure am. I been waiting for this for like a week now.” Said Vinyl has loud has she could. Applejack did not like the idea of one of them anthromals living at the farm with her and her family.

“Well I’m glad you’re happy about this Vinyl.” Said Applejack has she stomped her hoof down of the floor. The train doors opened and three hooded anthromals came out of the train to meet the ponies who came to the train station to meet them. The grey wolf walked over Vinyl.

“You must be this Vinyl I have been hearing so much about. I have only been in Canterlot for a week and word says you’re a the best DJ in the land.” Said Alex in a calm smooth voice has he shook Vinyl’s hoof.

“Wow Alex, I’m so glad to meet you at last. I’m very happy that you agreed to dance at my rave party.” Said Vinyl has cool as possible. The female leopard walked over to Twilight and stretched her arms.

“Hello Twilight Sparkle, my name is Gia. Your princess has told be your one of her best students. You must be proud.” Said the female leopard has she removed her hood to show off her ears. She had big brown eyes and a beautiful smile. Twilight was very proud to be Princess Celestia student.

“Thank you very much. I was told you could help me with magic?” asked Twilight has her eyes got bigger.

“After a long talk with your Princess, I think you’re the one going to be helping me Twilight.” Replied Gia has she reached down to pick up the back at her paws. Twilight just began to blush. The male leopard walked over to Applejack with a bag in his paw.

“Why hello their….”

“It’s Neko. My name is Neko, Applejack.” Replied the male Leopard in a soft, but deep voice.

“Well Neko I’m glad to meet you.” Said Applejack has she put out her hoof to shake is paw. Neko took is long wipe like tail and wrapped it around her hoof to shake it, because his paw where full.

Neko and Applejack walk down the streets of Ponyville, well Everypony was uneasy about Neko being there. Neko was used to other ponies being scared of him. Applejack did not like how quit the town was. Applejack saw Pinkie pie gathering some party thing from one of the nearby stores.

“Say Neko what kind of things do you like to do for fun?” asked Applejack, because she wanted to break the silence. Neko gave some time to think about it.

“Well Applejack, it’s been a long time senses I had fun. I do like martial arts.” Replied Neko has he sat his bag down.

“You want to stop and eat something before we get to the farm?” asked Applejack stomping her hoof on the ground.

“That would be nice in fact, Thank you.” Said Neko has he reached down to grab his bag. They walked over to one of the nearby place that soled food. Applejack and Neko sat down at one of the tables, and a young blue earth pony mare came out to take their order.

“Ill’ order a flower sandwich please.” Said AJ, well Neko just put his paw in the air. The young mare walked off. Neko opened his bag and pulled out something red with salt on it.

“So what is that you got there Neko?” asked Applejack has looked very hard at the thing in Neko’s paw. Neko opened up his mouth and biting into it, Applejack couldn’t help but look at Neko teeth.

“Well I could tell you what it used to be Applejack” Replied Neko with the red thing in his mouth. Applejack shook her head and gave the thing in his mouth a closer look.

“So that’s meat you’re eating?”

“Yep, Trust me you do not want to know what this us to be.”

The young mare came back with AJ’s order; the young pony gave Neko a weird look, then she went back to work. AJ was eating her sandwich, well Neko finished of his piece of meat. Applejack just looked at Neko eyes, she saw warmth in them, but she also knew that he had killed lots of little creatures.

“So Neko what else is in your bag?” Asked Applejack has she went to take a bite out of her flower sandwich. Neko licked the salt of his lips.

“Well I have meat apple seeds.” Said Neko has he licked the salt off his paws. Applejack raised an eye brow.

“What on earth are meat apples?” asked AJ when she finished chewing up her food.

“Well they look like apples, but they taste like meat. So I don’t have to risk hunting in the forest near Ponyville, because I heard there are creatures in there that would want be for launch. So I would very much like to plant them.” Replied Neko has he picked up one of the flowers that had fallen out of AJ’s sandwich.

“Neko I would love it if you plant them apples of yours.” Said Applejack has she got up from the table. Neko just gave her a head nod.

When Neko and Applejack got to the farm there was younger earth pony with a bow in her mane doing some farm work. When she saw AJ she ran up to her not seeing Neko. When the young pony saw Neko she was scared, but then she was happy to see and get to know new friends. The farm had an apple orchard, a barn, and the main house.

“Hay there, my name is Applebloom what’s yours?” asked the young filly.

“Applebloom this here is Neko, he and his sister will be staying here for awhile.” Replied AJ has they walk down to the barn house. When they got inside Neko dropped his bag.

“By chance do you think I can take a nap?” asked Neko has he sat down on the floor.

“Well you will be staying in my sister’s club house, but for now you can sleep in the barn. Also can we go somewhere tonight, I like to get to know you bit better there.” Said AJ has she sat in one of the chairs in her house. Neko got up and went outside to sleep.

“AJ do you like that cat creature?” asked Applebloom has she walked over to her big sis.

“Well he is fun to talk to, and he kinda of cute, if you like cats.” Said Applejack has she blushed; Applebloom just rolled her eyes and walked outside to the barn.

Twilight and Gia were on their way to Rarity’s so that Gia, her brother, and Alex did not have to wear their grey robes all the time. Twilight was very happy to talk to Gia about magic and other things like books. When they got to Rarity’s shop Twilight knocked on the door with her hoof.

“Thank you Twilight for taking me to yours friend Rarity.” Said Gia has kicked the ground with her paw well she was waiting for Rarity to open the door.

“You’re very welcome Gia.” Replied Twilight has she knocked again. Rarity opened the door and saw twilight at first.

“Why hello Twilight, so did the train already come?” asked Rarity has she looked for at Gia.

“It’s nice to see and meet you Rarity.” Said Gia has she held out her paw.

“Please come in you two.” Said Rarity has she walked in her store. Rarity’s store had the entire thing you would find in a clothes store, like cloth and mannequins. Gia felt really girly in this store. Gia put her back down on the floor and starched her arms and legs out. Rarity used her magic to grab her tap measurer, so she could get Gia measurements.

“I really grateful for this Rarity.” Said Gia has she stood still has much as possible.

“Oh anytime, I like making new kind of clothes.” Replied Rarity has she also grabbed a quill with her magic to write down Gia’s measurements. Gia went to go eat up stairs, well Twilight and Rarity talked.

“So Rarity what do you think of Gia?” asked Twilight has she walked over to Rarity.

“Well she seems to be fine, but I need to get to know her more before I can make whatever she want to wear, that’s I feel about the other two. So far I really like her.” Said Rarity as she was drawing some ideas on a piece of paper as to what would look good on Gia. Twilight walked up stairs to see how Gia was doing, when she got up stairs she saw Gia eating something red with salt on it. Twilight never saw that kind of food before, so she came to think it was meat that she was eating.

“So is that meat your eating there Gia?” asked Twilight has she gave the piece in Gia’s mouth hanging from her pearl white teeth a weird look.

“Yes it Twilight, in fact I was told to give you these meat apples.” Said Gia has she threw Twilight her bag. Twilight cached the bag with her magic.

“Oh yeah thanks Gia, so how do you like Ponyville?” asked Twilight has she walked closer to Gia.

“Well Canterlot was very nice, but Ponyville reminds me where Neko and I grew up. Twilight I’m unsure if I can teach you the spells I was told to teach you.” Replied Gia has she swallowed her meat. Two young fillies walked up to the room where Twilight and Gia were at. One was a white Unicorn named Sweetie Belle and an orange Pegasus pony named Scootaloo.

“Say Twi what is that?” asked Scootaloo pointing her hoof at Gia. Gia gave the young filly a weird look.

“She is an Anthromal Scootaloo.” Said Twilight has she rubbed her hoof on Scootaloo’s head. Gia just stood up and walked over to the young filly and lowered herself down to Scootaloo’s level.

“Hay you should not do such rude things in the future or someone else will not be very happy with you.” Said Gia has she so rubbed her paw on Scootaloo’s head.

“So you’re like a giant cat.” Asked Sweetie Belle has she wanted to know more things about the giant cat.

“Yes kind of, by the way my name is Gia young ones.” Replied Gia has she stood back up.

Vinyl and Alex walked over to town hall of Ponyville where the rave was going to be. Octavia was waiting in town hall for them. Town hall was huge, it could hold almost of Ponyville. It was a huge circle room that seemed has many other rooms. Alex just dropped his back to the floor and walk around to see how he was going to make this rave the most awesome dance ever. Vinyl walked over to Octavia and sat next to her.

“Say can we have him over dinner sometime Tavi?” asked Vinyl has she was like a little school mare.

“Vinyl what would he eat?” asked Octavia has sighed.

“Oh yeah, Alex does not eat what we eat. What would he eat?” replied Vinyl has she was thinking out loud. Alex went over to his bag and pulled out anther bag. Alex pulled some glow sticks out of that bag. Alex started to swing them by the strings that where attached, he was flicking them every which way, Alex jumped up in the air flicking them has he did a back flip.

“Wow I did not waste my bits, this guy is a good dancer, like the way he flings those glow sticks around is so beautiful.” Said Octavia has she kept looking at his moves. Alex stopped and walked over to Vinyl.

“So is that what you where looking for?” asked Alex has he sat down on the ground.

“You’re so much better then what you told me.” Said Vinyl has she put her hoof around Alex’s neck.

“Thanks Vinyl, so I need to check in to my room at the hotel so I must go. I’ll see you tomorrow so we can talk about what music we will be playing.” Said Alex has he got up and grabbed both of his bags and walked off.
