I helped Flutter Shy put on her armor, as she helped me. The black suits with iron plating were lighter than they seemed. My Element was hidden, though I was wearing it, just like my tag team partner. The magic machete was securely in the holder on Flutter Shy. My katana was secure. I looked around. I was now a major colonel along with Shy so I would be going to Cloudsdale to serve the Pegasus race in the war. I saw Angel on Shy. Funny how well that bunny can fight. I was leaving my friends to fight me. I remember the day the fights broke out. The only words I said were "This is war." And flew off. I went back to reality and flew off with Shy. As we were well known warriors, the leader of the army of pegisi greeted us with great respect as we arrived in Cloudsdale. Me and Shy were directed to go train.
"Train? We don't need to train. Our skills are needle Sharp. We can take out a squad of Earth ponys. I blew up my friend's house because important ponys were there. I lost most emotional feelings after that. I don't need training. Shy is almost a rank up and this is our first month of being major colonels. We don't need to train. Plus Shy has a magic machete. She can do spells with it." I looked at the Element on my neck. It was all I had left of my friendship.
Me and Flutter Shy walked through the fields with our squad, nearing Ponyville.
"Our mission is to destroy part of Sweet Apple Acres, thus cutting off part of the town's food supply." Our commanding officer told me and Shy as if it was nothing. Shy and I stopped in our tracks.
"Sweet Apple Acres?" Shy said quietly.
"Presicely, colonel. Why? Is there a problem?" The officer was wondering why that was important when Flutter Shy broke into a Flutter Rage.
"PROBLEM! PROBLEM! SWEET APPLE ACRES IS ME AND DASH'S FRIENDS HOME!" The yellow Pegasus screamed. When pushed to the limit, the usually meek pony was very scary and intimidating. Fortunately I saw the signs of a Flutter Rage and put my hooves over my ears. The Flutter Rage voice was competition for The Royal Canterlot Voice. In other words, she can get really loud. But she was extremely loud this time. The Royal Canterlot Voice couldn't compare to the volume of this Flutter Rage.
My attention was suddenly drawn to a movement on a nearby hill. I saw two figures. One orange and one pink. I knew it was AJ and Pinkie by the shiny gold glint of their Elements. Pinkie Pie had a detonator in her mouth. The Pyro-Pony was apart of the largest bomb squad in the area, with all the explosions she does with everyday objects. One time The Cutie Mark Crusaders tested if chocolate milk was explosive and came up positive. We could tell by the giant explosion competing from where we left the trio. Apple Jack was a greatly respected strategist before she became Pinkies assistant. As Shy yelled defending AJ, Pinkies mane which straightened when I agreed with the war. Poofed up, but only for a second. It deflated as she ran off with AJ. Something fell out of Pinkie P's saddlebag. I flew toward the hill to discover a gallon of chocolate milk. Then I saw the note. It read:
'Dash/Shy, this will help you. A cotton candy packet should be around. Be discord. Cotton candy clouds filled with explosives. We are still friends even if we might kill each other. - Pinkameana "Surprise" Diane Pie.' The full name. Real one that Twilight gave her and her made up name. But referring to herself as Pinkameana Diane Pie proved the war made her depressed. Calling herself Surprise proved she was visiting Twilight's head a lot more now. I saw a white and yellow Pegasus fly across the sky. I nodded at Surprise to tell her I got the message. I got the feeling this was going to be a long war.
