Light in the Darkness

                                 Chapter 1

"Ugh".. I said to myself what the hell happened, I asked myself as I began to caress the back of my head and slowly see what damage had been done before shit hit the fan. Sitting up i opened my eyes and observed my surroundings, "how the hell did i get in the middle of a fucking forest?" i thought out loud before it dawned on me.."Hey if this is about what i said slender man i didn't mean it!"

No answer followed as I decided to stand up but I slowly became afraid that I might have broken something, however i got here.

But as i stood up i heard a growling noise from behind, I quickly reacted to this growl and turned around to be face to face with a wolf of some kind, yet it had sticks and wood holding it together. As i made my first sudden movement (Wrong move by the way)I backed up away from the freak of nature and started running, because you know, i didn't want  to become a human happy meal for a wolf.

Good thing i was captain of my track team in college back home, because if i wasn't i would probably be the human version  of a tyson chicken sandwich. Thinking back, where the fuck was I? I know i wasnt home anymore, so where the hell was I?

I ran

My mother passed away at childbirth and my father ran off after her death.  I soon snapped back to reality to see what looked like a small cottage in the distance and with those wolves still chasing me i kicked my legs into overdrive!

And ran as fast as i could toward the small house. i soon made it out of the woods where the wolves had stopped chasing me. But i wasn't taking any chances and collapsed in front of the door.

I was out like a light next thing i know i awake in a small bed in an unfamiliar room  "wow" i thought to myself CRACK* there goes my back as i stretched out my feet dangling over the bed. Next thing i heard was foot steps but they didn't sound like foot steps it sounded like four feet on the ground like a dog or pony would make?

Next thing i know the door started slowly opening... And a yellow head started staring at me after a few moments of staring my mouth now agape.The creature started walking or trotting? And five other creatures or lets get this over with "PONIES" ok how much crack did that guy give me?

Never mind they were all standing in front of me staring at me so after a few minutes of staring and studying each others "bodies" i broke the silence i threw my long legs over to the right side of the bed and stood up i felt weak from all the running from the previous night but i could still walk.

I still had my boxers on which was a plus because I didn't want to start showing "technicolor" ponies my boxers! But anyways i walked over to what i thought was the cutest one she was pink all over and had very "weird if i do say so" hair or in this case "mane" and i picked her up in a hug the others gasped in shock like I was going to eat her HA. no i wasn't even though her mane did smell like cotton candy.

Mmmm yummy's anyways back to the hug... She quickly returned the embrace after a minute or so of this adorable even she did weigh alot! This ADORABLE cute little pony smiled at me

. Which was nice what happened next caught me totally off guard OH "YAY" she screamed i thought you were A big huge meany mick scary pants for a while but now that i know your not we can PARTTTTYYYY........ Moments of silence followed uhhhhhhhh I said well umm we could... "party later tonight"?

as soon as I said that she quickly nodded and ran out the door i guess to get the party supplies?i dont know soon after the pink pony had left i only saw i pink light before i was tackled onto the bed i screamed before i knew it she was on top of me saying oh my i never forget to ask Some-pony (wait some-pony?) there name when i meet them!!!

She said "uhhh" I groaned my names Zach just.. Zach "well thats a weird name" the pink mare said well HI Zach nice to meet you 'im pinkie pie the local party pony and ill see you later tonight ok.. Ok BYEZZZ.

She quickly left like she entered. and the room was still filled with silence so once again i broke the silence is she always that way?

I ask pointing out of the room the purple mare who was in the middle cleared her throat and said yah that's pinkie for you... Silence swept threw the room again then a orange..ish? Pony said well howdy i'm applejack she said sticking out her hoof i extended my hand to shake i grabbed her hoof "Holy Crap this hoof is soft"!

The orange mare started shaking my hand very quickly saying i twas nice to meet ya'll zach and i responded pleasure's all mine She then let go of my hand.

My hand was throbbing in pain she has one hell of a grip "damn' then one by one the ponies started introducing them selves there was pinkie pie,twilight sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and a rainbow pony that was called Rainbow Dash.

What I definently noticed was there was A pegasus. And unicorn but applejack and pinkie were just regular ponies whatever. soon after the greetings twilight invited me down to the living room for tea and i asked what kind?

she responded "green herbal tea" i said to myself "Fuck" i wanted sweet but it will have to do i followed them down and sat down on the opposite couch across from twilight, Fluttershy, and applejack.

Rarity and Rainbow sat next to me i took a sip of my tea and then twilight started saying "when you passed out in front of Fluttershy's place here she was able to take some things off your body nothing clothing related" rarity looked up when twilight said clothing.

Anyways "well can i see what you found"? I said she nodded and pulled out a basket and handed it over i opened the basket to see my phone, my headphones and a strap that goes around my back with knives on the back i picked them up curiously and looked at them.

I have  never seen these before in my life i took them booth out of them out of there "holster"  they were covered in dust i dusted off the handles to see what looked like names on the side "they said Quinn, and Valor" 'hmm" i said well at least i got my music i put the the phone in my pocket and my headphones around my neck.

(as soon as i got dressed) I slung the knives in the case over my back strapped them in and stood up. alright i said "cracking my back."

So do you ponies have any idea where i am? the one called twilight stood as well stating that i was in ponyville, equestria so have you guys heard of a planet earth? I asked all of the ponies shook there heads well looks like i'm stuck here for the time being.. Wait a sec?

MULTIVERSE yah buddy there is such thing as multiverse (why didn't i think of this earlier?) oh wait till max here's about this! "Well" twilight stated "what" i asked. maybe the princesses could send you back they know  Alot more than me and there magic is powerful maybe they could send you back!

Well what are we waiting for lets go see them then I said OK twilight said running out the front door. whooh that pony can't never say no to seeing tho's princesses. (interesting a monarchy?)

Well Darling she is princess Celestia's number one pupil. "who twilight?" Wow she must be smart I said surprising  all the ponys. they all stared at me and laughed i said "what she didn't seem to be the smartest here to me."

  Ok darling well while she contacts the princess let's show you around the town! Well i don't know i said won't the ponies here freak or something?

Oh heavens no darling we live right next to the Everfree forest were used to weird things coming out of there. well if you put it "THAT.. way" sure i would be happy to  "I think ill stay here" fluttershy said quietly looking away.

Um ok if you don't want to lets go girls or "mares?"... We started walking towards the door i opened the door having to crouch to walk under it.

Wow either these ponies are small or I'm  tall  it's probable there short because I stopped growing once i hit my senior year of high school at "Six foot three" as soon as i stepped outside i saw the sun was high in the sky and rarity trotted in front of me and led the way into town.

Once we made it to town almost every pony there was staring at me as i continued walking rarity and applejack would show me buildings like the spa or rarity's boutique.(boutique wow these ponies are very similar to humans)

We passed a fancy restraunt "As i was told" called the "golden hay" (WOW) as soon as we passed it i heard a cry from above yell "look out" as i was very shortly tackled to the ground by something or "some-pony". Once i hit the ground I looked up to see a grey mare with A blonde mane looking at me with golden eyes.

I was shocked she was so beautiful so i took her hoof and i kissed it and said "bonjour ma dame".

She looked at me with a confusing look but also blushed i think she understood what i was getting at(do they speak french hear?)

But she quickly got off of me and she just stared at me and apologized and said" hello sir my name is" Ditzy Doo". Why hello Ditzy my name is Zach "well hi Zach I'm sorry again for crashing into you "Well accidents happen i said politely smiling".

Yah she said.. After A couple of moments of silence and smiling she said i guess i'll see you around "well i hope you'll be at my welcome party tonight that pinkie's throwing for me"?

Ditzy responded sure thing i love Pinkie's party's see you there she then took off flying and yelled back "see you there". I turned around with a smile on my face (wait why did I just find that pony... Attractive?)rarity asked me if i was alright ". Yep i stated "just fine" rarity looked up at me but she just kept walking.

About an hour or two later i saw twilight trotting towards us she said the princesses would like to meet me tomorrow in Canterlot?

(hmm..Canterlot havn't i heard that name before?) I thought as we made our way back to Fluttershy's were i would be staying at for the meantime "well" i said out loud i better get ready i have a party to attend To.
