Chapter 1: Beginging
It was a normal sunny day in Ponyville, just the day after a long and stormy night. And now, starts the first lesson in the school where our three little crusaders, Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, are studying. The rowdy class suddenly turned quite after their teacher, Ms Cheeralie, came into the class and signaled the class to be silent. Ms Cheeralie looked at the class to see if everyone is paying attention and it was obvious that she was about to say some important news. “Class, we have a new colt!” She said “He came from a different village, so try to be nice o him and respect his traditions” Ms Cheeralie looked a little bit nervous saying that. The class became excited awaiting the new colt. Suddenly, the door opened and in came a small colt with grey skin and white hair. His mane was all messy and his eyes were closed. He was wearing a long black cloche with a dark design and a skull in the middle. His back hooves were not seen through the cloche. He turned his face to the class and showed the three weird spots he had on his nose and as soon as he opened his eyes the whole class fell into deep shock. It was empty. He had no eyes, it was dark. Nothing in his eyes. His expression was emotionless and it looked like his was dead. The class was scared and discussed by what they have just sighted. Some ponies even shouted. Ms Cheeralie Looked upon the class with an angry stare. “Now class, what have I told you about manners? It is very rude to make fun of a pony if he is different. Now, why don’t you introduce yourself?” The pony looked at Ms Cheeralie, nodded at her politely, turned around and sighed.
“My name is Manick. It is a pleasure to meet you all” His voice was soft and polite.
“Why don’t you sit over there, behind Scootaloo” Ms Cheeralie said pointing at the seat. Manick slowly turned to go to the seat and as he came closer, Scootaloo looked as if she is going to duck and cry, but looking at Ms Cheeralie, she knew that it was a bad idea.
Later, after lunch, it was break time and all the ponies ran outside to the playground. As other ponies played, Manick just sat in the corner and watch all of the kids playing. It always was a mystery to Ms Cheeralie and other ponies HOW he can see, but not for Manick. He knew how. Manick turned the other way and saw two fillies approaching him with sly faces. It was Diamond Tiara and her best friend, Silver Spoon. “So, here he is the new colt!” Diamond Tiara said in a rude manner. “Why are you so ugly? Are all people in your village like this?” She gave a giggle.
“Yeah, it seems like he doesn’t even have a taste in fashion!” Silver Spoon spat raising Manick’s cloche a little bit. “Ha!” The two fillies laughed, but Manick paid no attention, he just turned the other way continuing watching the rest playing.
“Hey! Do you realize that we are talking to you?” Diamond Tiara shouted “Don’t tell me you are dumb too!” She growled at him. Both fillies stared at his facial expression waiting for at least one response. Manick just stood up, turned the other way and sat back down. “Ugh! Whatever, you don’t seem to even realize how stupid you look; we have no time talking to losers like you! Right, Silver Spoon?”
“Yeah, so long, loser!” Both fillies turned the other way laughing loudly. Manick turned back around and looked where they were going. He saw the two fillies approaching three others and pushing them to a corner.
“Hey Blank Flanks!” He heard Diamond Tiara say. “Still not have any cutie Mark?” Manick came a little closer to them to hear what they were saying. He heard both fillies mocking the other three and laughing at them nearly making them cry. Manick couldn’t stand it anymore and stood up going their way. As soon as he came close, the two fillies looked straight into his eyes. “What do YOU want?!”
“Annoying” Manick whispered
“What are you…?” Manick twisted his rump and pushed the two fillies into the mud before they could say anything. The other three fillies were shocked.
“It’s better not to have any Cutie Mark, then to own the useless” Manick Spat “You are rich and happy, but you are acting even worse than the poor and helpless. It’s amusing, really” Manick turned to the three fillies and looked at them. He saw their shocked faces and gave them a little nod, straight after that he turned around and went to the spot where he was sitting before.
Later, when the Lessons finished, Manick was just about to return home but was stopped by the three fillies. “Wait, you’re Manick, right?” Applebloom said smiling at the new colt. Manick nodded and turned to leave. “Wait” She stopped him again.
“We just wanted to thank you for helping us” Sweetie Belle said blushing
“Yeah, it was awesome!” Scootaloo fluttered her wings and jumped as if she was going to fly.
“Mhm and we are all mighty grateful!” Applebloom said.
“It was my pleasure. It WAS pretty tiring to see how those young fillies were making fun of you over some small thing such as a cutie mark” His voice was soft and relaxed again.
“He even speaks like he is from a different time” Scootaloo whispered to Sweetie Belle which was followed by her nod. Both of the fillies looked at Applebloom to see a disapproving glance from her. Applebloom looked back at Manick smiling.
“Hey, why don’t you tell us about your Cutie Mark?” She said
“Yeah, how did you get it?” Scootaloo asked.
“Well… I don’t really have one…” Manick whispered softly feeling a little bit uneasy “Please do take my apologies”
“Really?” all of them shouted in unison piling in front of the confused colt. All three of them suddenly fell into a group huddle and all that was heard were whispers. Then, they all turned around and smiled.
“How would you like to join our club?” Applebloom asked
“A club?” He asked confused
“Yeah, we call ourselves the Cutie Mark Crusaders!” Scootaloo exclaimed
“Oh… I don’t know…”
“Come on, it will be fun!” Sweetie Belle said “Let us show you our club house and tell you all about it!” All three of them started to Push Manick to the way of their clubhouse.
