Twilight sat happily in her bed, reading happily.
It was well over 2 in the morning but she continued to read with a single candle lit by her bedside.
With a smile, she flipped the page, reading about some interesting magic about immersion.
Twilight continued to read through what was eventually the whole book.
"Fascinating!" She exclaimed at last.
She stretched and then gave out in favor to sleep at last.
When Twilight awoke it was some time in the late morning.
Or at least she figured so from the way the light through her window hit the room's interior.
Clambering out of bed and into her daily routine, she took a stretch and smiled.
"Today feels like it's gonna be a good day..."
Yawning, she got out of bed at last and head for the bathroom.
Roughly 20 minutes later, Twilight emerged from the bathroom with a smile.
She head for the kitchen to eat her breakfast,
"Hello, Spike. Good Morning to you!"
"Speak for yourself, Twilight, I personally think it's a bad idea."
The little dragon yawned out heavily and handed Twilight a small dish with her breakfast.
"What do you mean, Spike?"
"I mean it's a bad idea for both of us if you stay up until 5 in the morning with a single candle."
"I did that?" She asked skeptically.
"Every night for the past week, Twilight. And I think you've been to tired to notice either it OR me."
"Oh my..."
"Every.Night, Twilight.Every.Night." Spike rubbed his eyes, "You're hurting both of us."
"Well I'm sorry, Spike. I'll be sure to not rouse you tonight."
"Are you even listening? You can't stay up that late AND with only ONE candle.
I may not be getting much sleep but that doesn't mean you're just gonna stick to damaging your eyesight!
You need that don't you? Jeezus, Twilight, you gotta stop the late-night reading."
"Alright, alright I get it. Geez."
"Sorry."
"Oh, Spike!" Twilight called, "Before you go, could you hand me..."
"Well?"
"Hand me..."
"What book, Twilight?"
"Gee I can't think of any. It's like I read every..."
"You can't be serious."
"Eh. I'll look around by myself later. Late-night reading must be taking toll after all."
"Good, fix it."
And with that, Spike left the kitchen, leaving Twilight to munch on some eggs and toast with confusion.
"No no no no no...This ISN'T happening!" Twilight groaned as she put the final book back on it's shelf.
"It can't be...I've read every book."
Twilight had spent the entire day looking for a book she HADN'T already read but to no avail.
She thought she'd ask Celestia so she took up a large piece of parchment:
Dear Princess Celestia,
I am rather upset to say: I have run out books to read!
There isn't a single book in Ponyville I HAVEN'T read!
Please help me. I'm very sad..
,Twilight
Twilight had Spike send the letter instantly, eagerly awaiting her no doubt flawless solution.
In just moments, Spike coughed up the letter, Twilight jumping for joy.
"Dear Twilight," She read aloud, "I regret to inform you...I cannot help with your current situation..."
"Oh no, Twi!" Spike said worried for her, "Hey at least you can do what she recommended, eh?"
"Recommended? Where?" She asked instantly.
"However, I believe you may find it interesting to read all about the social society and how it is structured in these modern times, Celestia."
Twilight's face lit up with hope, "That's a GREAT idea!"
"No way.." Spike said sarcastically, "Anyway, I recommend-"
As Spike went on to say something, Twilight was gone already.
"Oh well. More Minecraft time!" Spike said hopping over to his computer giddily.
He sat down and began playing his favorite game with a goofy grin.
Twilight arrived at the Golden Oaks Library just in time for...Bed.
"Twi, where ya been all day?" Spike asked, "I was worried sick!"
"Sorry, Spike. I was out studying how ponies acted regularly and took notes."
She held up a book.
"Stuffed. What time is it?"
"Half past 1 in the morning..." Spike said with a slight glare."
"Really?! I'm so sorry I didn't even drop by! But hey.."
Twilight nudged him, "How's about we stay up late. Just for tonight?"
"Really?" Spike asked, now quite excited, "Can we?"
"Sure. I'll go cook some snacks and we can do something fun okay?"
"Alright then!" Spike said happily.
Maybe Twi'll wanna try out Minecraft! He thought, That would be awesome!
He grinned goofily and sat at his computer while he waited on Twilight.
Only three minutes later, Twilight emerged from the kitchen with a plate full of snacks.
She closed all the blinds and turned off most lights.
Twilight flipped to the 'CLOSED' sign and then walked over and sat next to Spike, whom had already devoured a 'Gem Croissant.'
"So what shall we do, Spike? I'm really eager to just 'hang out.' " She said with a grin at the last phrase.
"Well. I have something I'd like to show you I think you might find rather fun..."
Spike moved over and allowed Twilight to sit at his computer as he booted up a window that read "MINECRAFT."
Rarity sat at her table sipping tea alone.
Her face perplexed, she examined the clock on her wall.
It read 8:30AM
"Odd..." She thought, "I would have thought she'd been here by now."
She sipped some tea and scowled at nopony.
"It's just not like Twilight to just...Not show up. She would've usually let me know if she was sidetracked..."
She thought it over for a minute and looked again at the time.
"Well it is only 8:30 and I myself just woke up an hour and a half ago. Maybe she just got caught up in a book last night is all."
Once again, she looked at the seemingly frozen clock as it finally ticked.
"Oh bother. Sweetie Belle, come in here for a second!" She called.
Within a few seconds, Sweetie Belle wizzed into the Living Room of Carousel Boutique.
"Yes, big sis?" She asked.
"Well, dear, could you be so kind as to go over to the Library for a second and check if Twilight is there? Tell her I would like a word."
"Alright, Rarity." She said suddenly pouting, "So are we gonna go jump in puddles later?"
"Y-yes, dear, we shall..." A look of disgust became of her, "Jump in puddles. For eh...Fun. Now scoot along."
"Oo, good idea, I'll go get Scootaloo!" And with that, Sweetie Belle ran off.
"That child worries me." Rarity said as she finished her tea.
A knock came on the door. A very loud knock. THREE very loud knocks.
"Alright, alright, I'm coming already! Geez..." Spike said annoyed as he quickly stepped out of the kitchen and to the door.
More knocking.
"I said I'm coming! HOLD ON!!!"
As Spike opened the door, three little devils stood before him.
"Oh, Celestia, your kidding..."
