“2.54 minutes. Not bad rookie but you can do better! Now hit the showers!” Spitfire shouted as she clicked the stop watch and looked at it.
“Yes Ma’am!” The young black Pegasus answered back before galloping down the run way and back to the main building.
It was a simple training day at the Wonderbolt Academy for the flight instructor, Spitfire. From 6 in the morning until 6 at night, she pushed pegasi to their limits in order to mold them into wonderbolt material. The training was rough but it always produced quality fliers in the end, or simply broke them into washed up drunks. Squinting her eyes, Spitfire looked around for any stragglers that were still doing the run and with a soft sigh she knew that last one was it. Turning her attention to the sun, she quickly figured out by its position just starting to dip under the clouds, that it was nearly 6. She sighed with relief, knowing that her long day was done, and she would be able to rest her mind until the morning. Not wasting any time, she turned for the building and started to walk towards it.
She was happy to be done for the day, considering a dull thumping sound was starting to play in her head. Her job wasn’t really physically tasking rather it was the mental anguish she had to suffer. It was a perk of being a Wonderbolt, the best would get treated like the best, and the rest would have to earn those small luxuries.

Looking back to the towel closet, she walked over to it and grabbed herself a towel the same color as her coat and laid it across the bottom of the door for the shower. Without looking she grabbed another towel and rested in just in front of the previous one, and then opens the narrow glass door to enter it. Neatly folding up the uniform, Spitfire noticed the bathroom was starting to fill up in a foggy, warm mist. Turning her attention to the shower again, she quickly entered and closed the door behind her. As the hot water caressed her fur, she let out a long, yet soothing sigh of relieve.
