To Weep for Family

by ArgonMatrix
As Twilight grows up, the decisions she has to make will only get harder. The hardest, it turns out, is one she shouldn't have to make at all.

The price of growing up can be heavy. Growing up means making more decisions on your own, maintaining more responsibilities than ever, and learning things about yourself that you might never have imagined to be possible. As we grow, it becomes more apparent how important we are to the world, and how important the world is to us.

For Twilight Sparkle, growing up doesn't just mean getting a crown and wings. Growing up means making decisions that will affect herself, her country, her friends, and her family more than she could ever know. These decisions aren't always easy, nor are they always fair, but they are necessary. Because without them, we'd never learn, and we'd never grow.
