Us ponies have lived many years, under reign by the tyranny of the capitol. A nation against itself, divided into 13 districts. I am Heather Fostwood, a pony from district 12, I live with my mother, StarBlink Fostwood and my little sister, Tizzy Fostwood. Little Tizzy always finds trouble…everywhere, she is very mischievous. She has a light green mane with a white coat, though she does not have a cutie mark, I say it should be a lollipop, her sweetooth is overated. My mom’s coat is blue and she has a pink mane, her cutiemark is a star. And me? I have Red Highlights a white coat and a bow as a cutie mark.

I got my cutiemark for archery, ive always been good at archery
Since Tizzy is not handling being a pony, me… as a Pegasus had no problems flying up and hitting the target smack in the middle.
One day when I was watching the clouds, I shot down a crow and I got my cutie mark. But what I did not understand was the 4 blue markings around the bow, and I still don’t know yet.
Every 100 years, our president, President Snowfall hosts the annual
Equestria Games. But this is not a game, this is a bloody deathmatch with a stallion and mare from each district to fight in a all ought fight against other district representetives for the amusement of SnowFall, and to give pride to our district.
Tomorrow is the day of Grasan, the day where the district representatives are picked, sadly it’s out of a bowl.
“I am Fiddle and I will be picking the 2 representatives for the Equestria Games!!!”
The crowd stays utterly silent, if they were to speak, some might be penalized.
Fiddle takes out a glass bowl filled with brass spheres, in each one is our names marked with our cutiemark.
“And so the works of President SnowFall, I am pleased to announce…”
Just then everything stopped for me, a shudder up my back. Nobody moved, sometimes I have my own imagination, halfly because of my weak dyslexia.
Everything is slow, and then I hear my worst nightmare: T-----i-----z—a-n-i-a F-os-t-W-o-o-d!-!
Tizania Fostwood. I thought to myself, and then it hit me. Tizzy.
“Please come up to the stand!!!” Fiddle exclaimed
Tizzy slowly motions to me but she is grabbed by two armored colts.
“TIZZY!!!” I screamed louder than I thought,
Everyone turned around and faced me. This was the first time ive ever felt like a standout. The whole district watched me with their sad blue eyes.
“Is there an exception?” Fiddle remarked in a staggery voice
“Err, Yes!” I made clear to myself
“Well?” Fiddle said to me like it was to the whole world
Thinking fast, I said some words I would regret later
“I will take her place” I shakingly say
“So be it”
The colts drop Tizzy on the ground and mom and I rush to Tizzy’s comfort
“And the other representative will be!” Fiddle announced
“Vidian Zellark!”
The gears in my head started moving, I remembered that name from somewhere, just, where?
Then it shocked me.
Vivian Zellark was the stallion that worked in a mill near my home,
Once when I was a young filly, I went off to look for food when my mother was sick. I came across that mill and inside I heard some chatter.
“Vivian Zellark!!!” a loud mare like voice yelled
“Yes mother?”
“You burnt the bread!” the mare scolded
“well…”
The mare glanced a stare at the little stallion and threw the bread out side.
I grabbed the bread and ran, but I knew the boy looked out the window and watched my escape.
“HEATHER”
“Uh Yes?!”
“Get up to the stand please!!!” Fiddle strictly said
I walked up slowly as the crowd made me a wide path as I stepped
“These are the reprisentitives!” Fiddle exclaimed
When I got home, I went to my small cottage room and remarked.
