My little princess, my little princess. (My little princess) I used to wounder if friendship was it for me. (My little princess) Until I became a princess you see. Big Adventure! Tons of fun! A beautiful heart. Faithful and strong. Sharing kindness is and easy feed. Plus magic and snow makes it all complete! (My little princess) Don't you know your all my very best friends?!

My name is Princess Winter Crystal, and I rule over the Crystal Mountains. My cutie mark is a bunch of frosted trees, but ever since I was a filly I new my super special talent had something to do with snow. Maybe it was because I was born and raised in the mountains. I always loved playing in the snow, and the cold weather doesn't bother me. But one day I was taking a walk down the trial and slipped on some ice. I rolled down the mountains until i hit a tree. I stood up, looked around me, and saw tons of beautiful trees covered in frost. I've always loved nature but it wasn't until that day that I realized my talent was taking care of plants, so one day they would look as beautiful as the trees. But how I became a Princess is another story, I'll tell you that later. I've ruled over the Snow Ponies for sometime now and when the Crystal Empire came back some Crystal Ponies came to live here. I've never been much of a serious pony but i wasn't to loose either. I guess that's why Princess Celestia chose me for the job. Twilight is a really cool pony once you get to know her, but I'm getting a head of there story. The day I met Twilight was one of the best days of my life and I, being a princess and all, had some pretty good days. Well I guess I should start when Princess Celestia stopped by the Snow Castle.It was a day colder than most when I realized that something big was going to happen.

"Sunset" I said to my assistant, "I need you to update my dream log." "You had another strange dream your highness that's the 3rd one this week," she asked. "Yes I know but this one was the strangest." "I'm ready to write your Majesty." I wait a few seconds to collect my thoughts, then I nod giving her the signal to start writing everything I say. "It was a cold night the stars where out and the snow was falling. I was lost the road was cover in white frost, then there was a bright glow. Unable to tell who it is I take a step forward and see a princess. I've never seen her anywhere before, so she must be new. The purple pony had a dark purple mane with a few light purple and pink highlights in it. I noticed that she had sparkles for a cutie mark as I stepped closer. "So your my new teacher? Glad to meet you." She said in a cheery voice. Then she disappeared and that's when I woke up."As I finished I gave her the signal to stop writing.

"That was strange but it's still just a dream there not real." "But it felt real. I believe that this is a message from Princess Luna to prepare me for something that's going to happen." "Why would you think that? Why would Princess Luna, out of all the ponies in Equestria, be sending you a message?" "What are you trying to say? Do you think I'm to low class of a princess to receive a message from the sister of the ruler of Equestria?" "It's not that at all it's just that it seems highly unlikely that she would seem you a message throw your dreams. I mean come on the pony in your dream said that you were her teacher, that would make her your student, and I think we all know that your neither a teacher nor do you have a student." "Oh is that so." "I'm not saying your not teacher material, of course you are, but I think that if you did have a student it wouldn't be another princess. It would probably be a Snow Pony perhaps a yellow Pegasus with a purple mane and a golden tree for a cutie mark." "You mean somepony such as yourself." "What! No........not me......but if your considering of making me your student then I would gladly accept your ofter." "Nice try but I think we all know that I am not not a teacher and I have no students." That's when one of the guards came in the room with some very interesting news.

"Princess Crystal Princess Celestia is here to see you." I just stared at him with a confused look on my face. There was a really long moment of silence until he spoke again. "Do you want me to send her in?" Sunset and I exchanged glances and I gave a smile and stuck my tongue out at her. "I told you so." "You said Princess Luna this is Celestia totally two different ponies." I rolled my eyes and turned back to the guard. "Yes, please send her in." He nodded and walk back out of the room. "Ok Sunset I need you to be on your very best behavior for the princess. This is a very big honer for the Snow Ponies and the Crystal Ponies. We can put this in the SP Confidential, maybe it'll even be in the Equestria Daily." "Don't worry Princess Winter I promise that I'll act my very best for Princess Celestia." Then the doors opened and the ruler of the Equestrian ponies came in. I can hardly believe that shes walking on my castle floor, i can hardly believe that she's actually here. I must be dreaming I really, really must be dreaming and if I am then I never want to wake up.

"Princess Winter it's good to finally meet you in person," she said. "Well I've been here all day, in the mountains, all my life." "Yes I know, do you know why I'm here?" 'Because you want me to start teaching another princess to learn some very important lesson,' I thought. I was going to say it out loud but she might think I'm crazy so instead I shook my head no and wait for her reply. "You don't? I was sure my sister sent you those dream messages, did she not?" I look at Sunset who also couldn't believe what she just said. I just stood there staring at her like an idiot trying to figure out what to say. She smile at me, I could tell she knew that I had revived them. "Lets take a walk, it's a nice day." I nod and let her walk out first so i could talk to Sunset. "Ok I need you to stay here I'm counting on my number one pony to keep things in order." "You can count on me Princess." "Thanks your amazing." I walk out of the room and catch up with Princess Celestia.

"Winter, you may not know it but I've been watching over you for quite sometime now." 'The princess watching over me. I'd say it sounds like she was a stalker but who cares the princess was watching over me.' "The reason why I'm here is because I need your help." 'The princess needs my help, this is so exciting.' "A unicorn student of mine just recently turned into an alicorn and she knows nothing of being a princess. I fear that she will try to read books on it and then spazz out when she can't master it." "Ok I get what your saying but what can I do?" She stopped walking and smiled at me as her mane blew in the wind. "I need you to be her secondary teacher." 'Say what now.' "Your the only princess I know who can teach her the ways of a princess." "What can I teach her? I'm not as good of a princess as you are. I won't do I refuse I'm sorry Celestia but I can't." "Is that so? Are you refusing because your not good enough or because you think you'll be embraced ad mess up?" I just stood there mindless without saying a word, but we both  knew she was right. "Ah I see. You can't judged a book by its cover you know. Before you assume that you'll mess up just try it out fr a while ad see how it goes." "Princess Celestia are you sure? I mean I don't think I'm cut out for this." "Trust me you'll do fine. Your the only Princess I know who can handle a job like this." "OK, if I'm the only one then, I'll do it!" "I'm glad your able to do this for me. I know you can do it Winter, Twilight needs you." "Thank you Princess I won't fail you." "It's Time!" Then there was a big flash of light and all I could see were images of the pony from my dreams. I watched as the pictures flew by me some good, some bad, some happy, some sad. 'Great I'm rhyming.' all of the pictures filled my mind and I felt like I've know her forever. "Twilight Sparkle," were the only words that I could say. Then the light died down, the images went away and when I opened my eyes I was alone with nothing but a letter at my feet. It read:

Dear Winter,

I know this maybe difficult at first but once you get past all of the books you'll see that Twilight is a good student and a great friend. I trust that you can keep her in order, and make sure you both write me a letter every now and then. You know what you must do, your time has come to be the best teacher you can be. But while your teaching her I hope you learn a few new things yourself.
