Studying a Creature
Thinking is Essential

"Oh..." I grunted as I awoke from what possibly the worst sleep I've ever had. I rubbed my belly with a hoof, trying to ease the stomach pain. I hadn't eaten a whole day, and all I had last night was a glass of water. Not to mention the rough, and tiring sex.
I sat up, looking at my surroundings. Rays of sunlight, peeked through my window; making me realize that it is already morning. And beside me, Siren; who's sleeping like a filly. Her soft snoring filled my room, along with the smell of her's and my sweat from last night.
I tried to roll out of my bed carefully. "Easy, easy, easy," I chanted softly, hoping that I wouldn't wake up the sleeping Tyke. "Ea~sy!!!" but I failed. I fell on the brown wooden floor with a loud thud. "Ouch..." I scratched the back of my head as I got back onto my fours. I turned to gazed at Siren; hoping that she's still asleep. Guess not.
The bed creaked as Siren shifted from her normal position. With one eye half-opened, and the other one closed; she sat up from the bed and then stretched out her forelegs, accompanied by a soft yawn. "Morning," she called out with a raspy, yet soothing voice as she turned to me.
"So, do I have to feed you this early?" I replied.
"First thing in the morning and that's the question you have to ask me." A mischievous smile had formed on her face. "I'm guessing you couldn't wait to rut me, and stick your meat inside of my mouth." She let out her tongue.
I let out a sigh. "I just wanted to ask."
"Oh... In that case, no."
"Thank Celestia, because I'm beat."
"But you could rut me right now, if you would like," Siren hovered above the bed, and then towards me with a smirk on her face.
"Thanks, but I'll pass." I walked towards the door of my bedroom. On the ground, lies my notebook. "Maybe after I finish my breakfast, interview you, and get that clothe of yours fixed,"—I pointed a hoof towards her—"I might reconsider." We both exchanged gazes for a second or two, before both of us chuckled.
"I'm guessing you're not that dense when it comes to sex," Siren said.
"Like all the stallions aren't." Actually, they aren't. I picked up my notebook. "Anyways, you seem to be pretty observant."
"Glad you noticed that." She hovered beside me. "Also, I've met a lot of stallions back in the Tartarus who are pretty dense."
"They just don't like getting dominated. Just like me." I opened the door, and then headed to the living room, downstairs.
"Hey, we need to keep the upper hoof, or else, the stallion could easily get rid of us." Siren followed me.
"Interesting fact. But you could have at least waited for me to get my pencil so that I could write it down." I walked up towards the couch. I opened my merely-ripped saddle. Good thing that the upper part of it was the only thing that got ripped. Or else, while I was running from the timberwolves, my belongings would have been left off in the forest.
I rummaged through my stuff, looking for my pencil. Instead of a writing device on my hoof, I came across with my camera. "Oh by the night of Luna, I almost forgot!" I laid my device down. I glanced over my shoulder, looking at Siren. "Remind me to charge my camera, will ya'?"
"Sure..."
I turned to my saddle again, still rummaging through it. After five seconds of epic searching for my pencil. I turned to Siren. With the pencil on my hoof, and the book flipped on the back of its page. "Mind if you repeat what you've just said?" I asked.
"Sure."
"Okay then." I gazed at my notebook, waiting for Siren to speak. After seconds of no response. "What's taking so long?" I slowly looked up.
"What?" she tilted her head slightly.
"I thought you're going to repeat what you've said earlier?" I raised my tone a bit.
"Yeah, sure."
"Then say it."
"Sure."
I gave her an irritated look, "You know what? This isn't turning out so well."
"Hey, you ordered me to repeat what I've said earlier. And, what I've said earlier is 'sure'." Siren gave me a smile.
"You're being literal, are you?" I raised my eyebrow.
"If it stops you from crying," she rolled her eyes. "We Tykes, need t-." I cut her off.
"Mind if you start to the name of the race, then the details?"
"Picky, picky," Siren muttered as she shook her head. "Name of the race is Tyke."
"Okay..." the tip of my pencil had landed on the paper. But before I wrote it down. "Wait... is it Tyke with a 'y', or Tike with an 'i'?"
"Does it matter?"
I nodded.
"Tyke with a 'y'."
I followed.
"We Tykes, lived near Tartarus. Having a pack composed of minimum of five; and maximum of ten."
"Can't believe I'm getting all of this from an actual Tyke, or yet, if I didn't. How would I even know if it's true?" I thought to myself as I wrote the information. "Anyways... if your kind travels in a pack. Why separate?" I looked up to her.
"I know that you've already seen them eat; considering the fact that I was one of the group who had just fed on you."
"Yeah... so?"
"It's hard for us to get food. We only travel in packs because it makes hunting easier; not to mention that we had the upper hoof on the situation. But even if we take down a prey us a group." Siren chuckled. "We have to fight for it from one another."
"So much for calling it teamwork."
"Yeah... we don't get along much. So while I was following y-." I interrupted.
"Stalking is the correct term." I grinned at her.
Siren let out a sigh. "While I was stalking you. I thought, how about helping you and getting you out of the forest, in exchange for food. But I never would've thought that you would offer me something like eat-all-you-can."
"Hey, I said eat-all-you-can, but I didn't say you could stay in here for the rest of your life."
"And yet you agreed. Also, you told me that I could eat-all-you-can until I'm completely satisfied. Well... I never get satisfied. Mind that you cannot break a contract from a Tyke."
I let out a sigh. "So what happens if I break the contract?"
"Your soul will be locked inside Tartarus."
"Wow that's harsh. Are those true words you speak of?"
"Nah, not really," Siren rolled her eyes.
"Remind me of that." I smirked. "Anyways, back to the main subject."
"Well that's all I know about our race."
"What?" I tilted my head slightly.
"Well..." Siren stretched her four legs. "I guess that's enough for a book."
I looked down on my notebook.
Tyke
A creature that lives near Tartarus. Travelling the land in packs. Searching for food; which is semen and sexual energies.
"Are you kidding me!?" I looked up to her; as she floats around the livingroom. "It's only one page long!"
"You could extend it you know." She replied.
"How!?"
"Describe how we look like. How we act. How we talk. How good we are when it comes to sex."
"Why didn't I think of that?" I facehoofed myself.
"Because you don't think at all." Siren smirked. "Unlike me, I think all the time."
"Cocky," I muttered. I looked back down on the pad. "Okay, let's start writing." I stared at the paper for a moment, thinking of the things I might write about their appearance. But then, my thinking was cut off as the roaring in my stomach had echoed throughout the room. "Maybe I should eat first."
