the first mlp fic i have written... sparked by a cold winter, and boredom...

having one incredibly harsh review such as this:

"I'm sorry Gimli but this story is bad. There's no one place it falls down. The structure is unintuitive and unimmersive, often forcing me to speed read through it. The whole waxing philosophical thing comes of as trite, bland and insipid. The actions of the mane six aren't so much out of character as unrealistic and stupid. Your self insert character makes the whole mess feel less like poop and more like a giant puddle of wank. All in all an excellent example of why I hate oc. You obviously don't so much want to write a MLP story as much as you want to make yourself feel important. I could spend a good deal of time psychoanalyzing you based on this atrocity, but I don't feel it's worth the time. This is not a personal attack on you. This is a preventative review. You are not a writer. This is not a fanfic. This is a masturbatory fantasy of someone who wants validation. It is a story best kept to yourself."

however, that is just one idiots view point...
