The Night's Silence

A New World  

I continue to walk, ignoring the sound and head back to my place to check on my sister. Nothing else has happened, but i have an eerie feeling that someone is watching me, following me home, but why?

My  wings ache as i open the door to our house, and am greeted with a surprise attack from my sister jumping on me and pushing to the ground on my wings. I grunt in pain as i hit the ground hard, breaking my left wing. "ow..." I say to my sis.

"sorry, Xavier" Rose says with innocent eyes. "I can't be mad at you for long" I said as I slowly get up. unable to fold my wing properly, I have to turn sideways to enter through the door. When i get through the door, i grab my sister and bring her to my room, and tell her to go to sleep. I start to walk out of the door to grabs some water.

"where are you going?" she asks quietly. "just to get some water, why? do you want some?"

"yes, please" Rose looked at me as i left the room, checking the water thing(keg or what ever). I lit some candles for light, so i don't trip coming in. I walk out to the patio, about to jump, but pause, remember my wing. *sigh* "Rose, come here"

"coming...yes?" she said "I need you to readjust my wing bone, it's broken" i said.

"yeah, o.k, how did it break?" she asked quizzically looking at me. "It's from the stress that i put on them, plus your 'surprise' attack"

"sorry... i didn't mean t..."

"it's o.k. you didn't know" I said, cutting her off "Just give me the biting stick and readjust it please"

"here" she said handing me a smooth cylindrical stick. *CRACK* *Painful grunt* *Panting* "Thanks, sis..."

"yeah, sorry again" she said."don't worry, it's just a broken bone, it heals fast"

"Oh yeah" she smiled after saying that, then yawned, while wrapping my wing in bandage.

"OK, what else should i bring?" asked  twilight

"the kitchen sink?" spike said sarcastically. Twilight just rolled her eyes and removed some stuff from her satchel

"O.k I should go now, spike go over and see if anyone needs help and see if you can stay with one our friends"

"O.K, I'm going over to..."  "Rarity's?"said twilight interrupting him"yeah..."he said, thinking am i that predicable?

"anyways, have fun" twilight says as she walks out the door.

.......Skipping ahead to Canterlot........

Twilight starts out to her the castle. when she reaches it she remembers she's never been to the private Courtyard... "excuse me, but where is Princess' private courtyard?" twilight asked a Royal guard."No ones allowed except royalty, oh it's you twilight... in the back of the castle towards the Princess' quarters"

"Thank you, sir" she said, and continued towards Luna's room. i wonder what could be so important that She calls for me so early? twilight thought to her self.

As she enter the Courtyard she greeted by both sisters, and told that she need to cast a complicated time/space spell to close a rift that opened, earlier in the night. "how did this happen?" twilight asked "Luna cast the wrong spell trying to prank me again and the spell to close a rift requires a lot of magic, so we need you to help us" Celestia says eyeing her sister. "oh and if we mess up, even the slightest, it will tear it open, and can create a massive hole in the universe"..."oh, my..." twilight said nervously.

"O.K , ready?"Luna and Celestia said in unison."uh...yeah, lets start" twilight said nervously.

Ow... my wings... I thought to my self. I took the long way down to the filtered water. it took about 20 minutes, but long enough to heal, so flew back up after getting a gallon of water to bring to the house. after getting the water set up and grabbing two glasses of water i started to walk back to my room, i notice that faint glow that I saw before going up in the distance again, wondering what it could be. "I'll check it out later..." i said, going to my room. My sister is sound asleep. I silently try to crawl into bed beside her, but she wackes me with her wing and wakes up. "gee... you really like to hurt me today..." I say "sorry" she says groggily. falling back asleep in my arms as we both get comfortable.

the next day my wing was fully healed, ready to fly again. "o.k, I'm going up again, Rose" I told her after breakfast. "oh, can i come?" she asked with cute puppy eyes. I couldn't resist her cuteness (noooo...) "o.k, just try to keep up and remember what i taught you when free-falling" I told her, hoping I don't regret this. When we arrive at the cliff I see that same glowing that i saw last night, but much brighter and larger. "ooo... lets watch the sun rise!"Says excited but still tired. we both sit down, on the edge of the cliff in silence and aw. *snap* *BOOM*  "did you hear that Rose?" "yeah, what was it, Zave?" she asked, "stay here, Sis I'll check it out"
