//-------------------------------------------------------// The Night's Silence -by Storm_Flicker- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 - Time is of the essence //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 - Time is of the essence   I was standing on a high cliff overlooking the ocean with the sun setting, I looked over the edge, after that i looked back at the forest behind me, started to walk towards the forest, then turned and ran off the edge of the cliff.      As i start to fall towards the vast ocean, time seems to slow, as silence and air whooshing passed my ears. closer and closer i come to the surface of water, My wings open just in time for me to glide over and touch the water...    as I glide just above the salty sea, i have an idea. I start to fly up to the clouds to look for a good point to start. i find a very high clouds a a little ways out from the cliff. It's definitely higher than the cliff, but harder to get speed from. I sit there,,, on this cloud and just lose my self in thought   I don't know how much time has past as I've sat here, lost in deep thoughts, but I remembered my idea and why i came up here in the first place. I stand up and getting ready to jump, but i see something off in the distance."that's strange..." I say to my self as I just ignore it for now, I resume and jump into the air and test how high i can fly. as I fly up, I start to get tired. my wings are starting to slow down slightly, but i just ignore them, and fly higher. I notice how cold it actually is up here, i stop for a second and just hover.   I look around to check out if anything new has come to this isolated island, but as usual nothing has, in fact nothing is around but water and trees, so I resume my ascent, going higher, as i go up i look down to see how much time i will have to react if i black out, or my wings give out.   It's a long ways down the water and the sun is all most fully down. An eagle, that i didn't notice, screeched, scaring the crap out of me, making me and my wing skip a beat, falling a couple of feet. Catching myself i scowl at it as the eagle made a sound that almost mimicked laughing. I ignore and keep going. My wings are slowly started to give out, but I wanted to keep going to beat my previous record. I just needed little more height, but it was freezing up here, no wonder I don't have much more energy. I push my self, but my wings went just gave up and retracted and i started to plummet down to the ground.   As i fall i try to put my self in to a more controlled dive. It takes a couple of tries, but I get myself into a nose dive position, going though a couple clouds on the way down, and drop faster toward the water. I open my wings, a massive amount of pain shoots through my back as my wings struggle to not fold back behind me. I retract my wings and reposition myself, for a softer curve, just barely touching the water. While flying over the water I leave a down-wash of water behind me from the amount of speed and sheer closeness, but It take almost no effort to fly this close the water. I'll try again later... i thought to my self.   As I land on the same Cliff I jumped from, I can feel an strong electric field, which is unusual because we lost power couple years back. I walk toward the pathway back to our home, funny enough is that in this jungle is a high-tech lab/house that was abandoned not long after it started to over produce chemically-grown food. Me and my sister, Rose, both live here. The eerie silence of the forest is weird because I can usually hear birds singing their songs. *snap* "Rose?" i said wearily. not sure because there is only me, my sister and a lot of birds on this island. ...........................................................................................................................................................................Earlier in Equestria "Twilight ..... Twilight!" "What..." said twilight, annoyed that she's getting awoken early in the morning "The Princess has sent an urgent letter addressed to you, for your eyes only" says Spike Dear Twilight Sparkle, My most Faithful student, My sister, Luna, and I, require your presents in Canterlot, on urgent matters. I cannot say, until I see you in person, why, but need you and only you to come to our private castle courtyard. We will be wait, please hurry. Princess Celestia P.S. sorry for waking you so early. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 - A New World //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 - A New World A New World   I continue to walk, ignoring the sound and head back to my place to check on my sister. Nothing else has happened, but i have an eerie feeling that someone is watching me, following me home, but why? My  wings ache as i open the door to our house, and am greeted with a surprise attack from my sister jumping on me and pushing to the ground on my wings. I grunt in pain as i hit the ground hard, breaking my left wing. "ow..." I say to my sis. "sorry, Xavier" Rose says with innocent eyes. "I can't be mad at you for long" I said as I slowly get up. unable to fold my wing properly, I have to turn sideways to enter through the door. When i get through the door, i grab my sister and bring her to my room, and tell her to go to sleep. I start to walk out of the door to grabs some water. "where are you going?" she asks quietly. "just to get some water, why? do you want some?" "yes, please" Rose looked at me as i left the room, checking the water thing(keg or what ever). I lit some candles for light, so i don't trip coming in. I walk out to the patio, about to jump, but pause, remember my wing. *sigh* "Rose, come here" "coming...yes?" she said "I need you to readjust my wing bone, it's broken" i said. "yeah, o.k, how did it break?" she asked quizzically looking at me. "It's from the stress that i put on them, plus your 'surprise' attack" "sorry... i didn't mean t..." "it's o.k. you didn't know" I said, cutting her off "Just give me the biting stick and readjust it please" "here" she said handing me a smooth cylindrical stick. *CRACK* *Painful grunt* *Panting* "Thanks, sis..." "yeah, sorry again" she said."don't worry, it's just a broken bone, it heals fast" "Oh yeah" she smiled after saying that, then yawned, while wrapping my wing in bandage. ............................................................................................................................................................. Twilight's Library "OK, what else should i bring?" asked  twilight "the kitchen sink?" spike said sarcastically. Twilight just rolled her eyes and removed some stuff from her satchel "O.k I should go now, spike go over and see if anyone needs help and see if you can stay with one our friends" "O.K, I'm going over to..."  "Rarity's?"said twilight interrupting him"yeah..."he said, thinking am i that predicable? "anyways, have fun" twilight says as she walks out the door. .......Skipping ahead to Canterlot........ Twilight starts out to her the castle. when she reaches it she remembers she's never been to the private Courtyard... "excuse me, but where is Princess' private courtyard?" twilight asked a Royal guard."No ones allowed except royalty, oh it's you twilight... in the back of the castle towards the Princess' quarters" "Thank you, sir" she said, and continued towards Luna's room. i wonder what could be so important that She calls for me so early? twilight thought to her self. As she enter the Courtyard she greeted by both sisters, and told that she need to cast a complicated time/space spell to close a rift that opened, earlier in the night. "how did this happen?" twilight asked "Luna cast the wrong spell trying to prank me again and the spell to close a rift requires a lot of magic, so we need you to help us" Celestia says eyeing her sister. "oh and if we mess up, even the slightest, it will tear it open, and can create a massive hole in the universe"..."oh, my..." twilight said nervously. "O.K , ready?"Luna and Celestia said in unison."uh...yeah, lets start" twilight said nervously. .................................................................................................................................................................... Ow... my wings... I thought to my self. I took the long way down to the filtered water. it took about 20 minutes, but long enough to heal, so flew back up after getting a gallon of water to bring to the house. after getting the water set up and grabbing two glasses of water i started to walk back to my room, i notice that faint glow that I saw before going up in the distance again, wondering what it could be. "I'll check it out later..." i said, going to my room. My sister is sound asleep. I silently try to crawl into bed beside her, but she wackes me with her wing and wakes up. "gee... you really like to hurt me today..." I say "sorry" she says groggily. falling back asleep in my arms as we both get comfortable. the next day my wing was fully healed, ready to fly again. "o.k, I'm going up again, Rose" I told her after breakfast. "oh, can i come?" she asked with cute puppy eyes. I couldn't resist her cuteness (noooo...) "o.k, just try to keep up and remember what i taught you when free-falling" I told her, hoping I don't regret this. When we arrive at the cliff I see that same glowing that i saw last night, but much brighter and larger. "ooo... lets watch the sun rise!"Says excited but still tired. we both sit down, on the edge of the cliff in silence and aw. *snap* *BOOM*  "did you hear that Rose?" "yeah, what was it, Zave?" she asked, "stay here, Sis I'll check it out" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 - Who? What?*Major Confusion* //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 - Who? What?*Major Confusion* What could it be? we are the only people on the island, since the... never mind...I... I can't think about it. I fly u p above the trees to see want could of made that sound. but noting , except the glowing light... "Rose, lets just fly for now" I say cautiously. "let's go then, I'm bored of waiting anyways" sounding impatient. We run off the cliff as usual but i hear a gasp just as we jump trying to look around I trip myself up, free falling over the edge. my sister helps me regain control as we fall. I hover at the cliff, my sister stopping a bit higher than me. Looking around I see a sparkly navy blue cloud in the bushes. my sister calls me, snapping me out of my wonder. we fly up to some clouds and sit there for now watching the sun rise. my sister stands up waking me from my daydream about what was in the bushes. "Hey, Bro let go up" she says looking up, spreading her wings, almost pushing me off the cloud. "hey, watch it" I say, a bit annoyed that she's not that good with being careful. Standing up, i looking around I spot that same glow from earlier, this time it's brighter and larger. I jump, and start to fly, I catch up to Rose and match her speed. "Did you hear the gasp before i jumped?" I asked hoping that I'm not going crazy."Yeah, but I thought that it was you." she said. "No, i heard it from the bushes, and i saw a cloud of something...it was dark blue and sparkly." "Ha ha ha... your funny" she laughed "I'm being serious" Looking at her with a straight face"oh... no,  I didn't" she said her smile fading. "sorry, I don't mean to be so serious, it's just, I've heard something last night as well, before coming home...it was a branch breaking." "Could have been birds?"she said suggestively "No, the sound was to loud to be birds snapping branches, and I would have saw them fly off"dismissing her thought. Rose started to hover. I followed her, looking at her. she looked like she was trying to think of what it could have been. "We're the only other 'animals' on this island besides the birds" "Yeah...so I can't think of anything else, but I did see a light three times so far" I said, looking around for it, but it wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Well... It could be a reflection of the sun?" she said, looking confused, head cocked to the side. "hmm... it would explain one of them but not the other two... the others where at night"says me, thinking what else could have caused that strange glowing. "I'm getting tired" said rose. know she couldn't stay up here for long I signal here to free fall, as I fold my wings in to pencil dive. she follows me down, but slows down more than me, I remember she doesn't like to free fall. "ugh..." I say as I slow my self to let her catch up to me. "Thanks" she says smiling at me"yeah... don't worry, just your going to wear your self out doing that.... you want to hold on to me?" I ask her knowing that i can get us down faster then her. "sure, just don't fool around this time... last time you almost killed us" said shuddering "Yeah.... that was a long time ago, so don't worry"I say trying to comfort her and change the subject "O.K, I'm trusting you" she grabs a hold of my chest as she folds her wings. doing the same but popping them out, every couple of seconds to control our descent. A bright flash of light goes off below us scaring and blinding both of us, making us drop at an awkward angle. she let go as the light when off. not being able to see as i fly, i try to find Rose to get her to hover. "Rose?...Rose!?....where are you " I asked panicked tone of voice "over here" she says sounding distant. a warm feeling surrounds me as I feel like I'm weight less. ........................................................................................................................................................................ "On three....One...two...THREE" Says Celestia. all three of us cast at the same time, magic hitting the black void. it shrinks and disappears. the sister and twilight walk to where the void was and inspect the area to see if the void is gone. "I think It worked" twilight said. "yes, I think so" said Luna. a couple seconds later, they yelp as they where consumed by the darkness. "Where are we?" asked twilight after waking up and standing to look around finding herself in a dark forest."It looks like the Everfree, but does not feel like it" Luna said "it isn't. but it is a forest" no shit.... twilight thought, looking around "well, are we stuck her?" twilight asked "if we don't find the portal, then yes." Celesta said "so we should build some temporary shelter for now, and try to be quiet, we don't know whats out here"  *snap* twilight was grabbing some branches"twilight... just grab the one on the ground" Celestia told her. "o.k" twilight said as she levitated some branches in to a pile. Luna found a large fallen branch to use a support for the roof of the tent. she magically attached the branch to some trees and started to take the branches that twilight put in a pile and making a upside down V shape. after finishing the 'tent' they crawled in."Well... its better then nothing" They where all squished together, in the small and uncomfortable shelter. after the night, Luna was the first to wake up."Hey...tia...Twilight wake up" Luna said gently muzzling them"Tia...Tiaa...TIA...Twilight... help me get some water to wake her please" she said with a mischievously. Twilight got some water from a area that seemed o.k to take. "Tiaaa... I swear, If you don't wake up..."her voice trailed off, when twilight gave her the water. *SPLASH* "eeep" said Celestia startled by the cold water "HA HA HA" laughed Luna. "somepony was over there.... we should check it out" Luna said to both ponies after catching her breath. After Celestia dried off, the three went over the area she heard somepony talking. looking out Luna and Celestia both where looking at two humans, on 8-10 year old female, and the other Male about 16-17 years old. they looked Normal, except for one thing "they...they have wings...what?" Celestia says. "their just sitting there" says twilight Both sisters and twilight gasp as the two jump off the cliff together, tripping the male as he tried to jump off."oops" they say to each other. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 - What? Rifts, time and space. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 - What? Rifts, time and space. The three watched in awe as the two "Angels" flew around "Their not human, are they" asked Twilight. "No, their not" Celestia answered. "looks like a mix of human and Pegasus" Luna commented. "yes, but Pegasi don't exist here, Luna" Celestia told her sister. "o.k, so bird then?" Luna said "yes" Celestia said. "The portal!?" twilight exclaimed *flash* "Oh no, the bird-things are falling! Tia do something!" Twilight was first to react and magic levitated the younger one to the cliff... "Rose?...Rose!?....where are you " said the other one still hovering. "Princess, could you help that one, he's to big for me" twilight said. Rose giggled. The strange feeling continues as I float for a little, still blinded from the flash. "Rose?" I ask "yeah..." she responded. "What happened?" I say confused on what just happened. "You fell on top of a rift" said a gentle voice, startling me. "uhhh..." I say dumbly. "Whats a rift?" asks Rose. "It's a rip in time and space" says another voice. "i can hear you, but can't see you." I tell them "oh, I can fix that." says yet again another voice. "you will be knocked out for a while, though"said the same voice "why?" I ask "to magically repair your eyesight" said the same voice "haw haw, but really why" I say. "She's telling the truth, and please do be respectful, you are in the presence of two princess' ." said the second voice. "Oh...sorry"I say still confused. Hearing a unfamiliar hum, then the warm feeling, but not the weightlessness, then nothing... "oh... my head..."looking around, I noticed that I'm on my couch. "what?" i say confused. "Rose?" looking around to find her. "Zzz" coming from my bed "o.k...she's asleep...was that a dream?"saying quietly to my self, careful not to wake her."No...and wow that was much faster then expected" Said the gentle-voiced one 'a tall White horse? no, a pony, it...er...she has a thicker mane and tail... what the...and her tail's...that's impossible, her mane and tail are multicolored' I say in my head "wait, so you talk?" I asked her "Yes we do" Says the purple one"how are you purple? wha...and... O.k...I'm confused" I say, still trying to figure out how this is possible "where's the other one?" looking around for the source of the third voice i heard earlier. "My sister? she's asleep... in your, sister's?, room" She told me, and not directly, asking if Rose was my sister. I just nod. my head is still spinning trying to wrap my head around what's happening. "do all humans have wings?" ask the purple one, as I look back at mine stretching them out a little. "er...No...just us two...or at least to my knowledge..." I say wondering if humans have wings now ...probably not.. ."do you...ponies have names?" I ask, remembering that they never, if any, told me their names. "that should be obvious...My name is Twilight, This is Princess Celestia and the sleeping one is Princess Luna" she said looking tired and annoyed. "Why are you here and how can you talk?" I ask "Well we came through a rip in space and time, in Equestria, that sent us here, and don't all ponies talk?" twilight said "No...not usually... mostly Neighing or whinnying" looking at them, noticing that it should be obvious that they come from somewhere else. "Yes, like Twilight mentioned, we're from Equestria, in an alternate universe, so we are able to talk." She explained "..." staring at them "eh Hem" Twilight cleared her throat while I looking at their flanks/cutie-marks. "sorry" I say looking embarrassed "but, what are those symbols for?" asking pointing at Twilight's flank/cutie-mark. "They mark what jobs or special talents a pony has" Celestia explained. "For example, Twilight's is Magic, she's currently studying the magic of friendship."she said "Ok...so..." *Bang*   "uh... sorry" Luna said "ouch..." Rose said quietly "Are you Ok Rose?" asked while I grabbed her and sat her on the bed again. "I guess... I just got kicked by ... A pony? what...? why are they here? and did that one talk..."she asked looking as confused as I was "Yes, I'll explain later." said to her not wanting to explain it yet... Not quite understanding, myself either. "anyways, your Luna..."getting cut off "Princess Luna" she said "Sorry... Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, and Twilight?" I said confirming their names "Yes, those are our names" Twilight said "Just making sure..." I said. "So... Equestria... what's it like? compared to our world so far?" asking trying to change to subject to something else so it's not so awkward. "Different..." looking around for something. "are you guys hungry?" I asked them. "Kind of..."Twilight said "What kind of food do you eat?" I asked wondering what would they eat. "We have berries growing in the back" Rose offering some to Twilight. Twilight Levitated some of the berries and observed them. Once she was satisfied that they where ok she ate them. The Alicorns did the same. "thank you." all three said eating more. "No problem" I said glad I found something for them. "wait... so how are you going to get back to Equestria?" asking them, not really know how they did get here. "We have to find the portal again..." *BOOM* The sound was loud enough to shake the house Celestia and Luna fell to the ground. "Whats happening to them?" Rose asked. looking at twilight i asked " what happened?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 - The Echo //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 - The Echo *BOOM* The echo came back, through the house, less Violent. I Started to Lift The smaller Alicorn to the bed. "Twilight... Whats happening?" I asked Twilight, as I made the unconscious princess comfortable. "I don't know... it may have something to do with the portal..." she said, as I helped her move Princess Celestia to the couch. "so... the portal could be closing?" I say taking a guess. "yes, it could be...Celestia might know." she said after we placed Celestia on the couch. "what about them?" I ask pointing to Celestia. "We wait for them to wake up" I looked at Rose signaling to go outside. looking back at twilight, "going to fly for a little bit" telling her "need to clear my head...and try to explain to Rose what's happening" looking back, to follow Rose out. ................................................................................................................................................................. we jumped from the balcony and flew up on a cloud near by. "...so yeah that's pretty much everything that happened when you when out." I said explaining what those Ponies told me. "So, we are just lucky to have them appear here, then? To save us from that fall?" she asked "I'm only assuming what happened after we got blinded, but yes" I answered. "lets fly again, I need time to think." looking towards the moon barely visible during the day. "same..." Rose replied. we both fly off not really knowing where to go we drift off from each other and eventually stop and hover for a bit, trying to figure out whats going to happen. Looking at my sister I say "we should check on them..." I said Rose just nodded and started going towards the house, with me following her. ................................................................................................................................................................. 'So...what to do, while waiting for the Princess to wake up...' Twilight thought to herself. looking around she gives herself a quick tour of the floor they where on, not really wanting to know whats down the stairs. finding a pure white feather, she levitates it and walks back to the couch and lying down beside the unconscious princess. inspecting the feather, twirling and spinning the feather. The pure white feather is so... familiar but unable to nail whats deep in her mind she ignores the weird feeling. noticing that the feather is the same as Celestia's but slightly smaller, but a difference, it was wider and slightly longer. 'could she have already been here?' thought Twilight. 'no, why would she be here? It doesn't look like Rose`s feather, too big... who's then?' thought Twilight. Celestia stirred a little. "ugh...." Celestia moaned quietly. I'll go check on Luna... Twilight thought still trying to find the owner of the feather. As she walked in the room Luna rolled to see who it as looking playfully energetic. "Hello Twilight!" Luna said smiling "Wow your happy..." Twilight said confused because Luna usually is calm, not hyper like this. "Ooo... who feather is that?" Luna asked getting up to look at it with wonder "It looks like Tia's feather, did you take one while she was sleeping?" she asked looking at Twilight. "No I found this by the door leading downstairs, but it does look like her's" Twilight said levitating it in between them. Celestia's head rose from the couch looking around. "ow... my head" she said, "what happened...oh... right....the boom, Twilight we need to find the portal soon, it may close...or worse, bring these worlds together." Celestia said looking at Twilight "What was the sound?" Twilight asked "It was magical feedback from our attempt to close it earlier" Celestia explained. "So, that's why you where knocked unconscious?" Twilight said starting to understand what's happening. "Yes, where you?" she said, asking Twilight "No, I was awake the entire time." said Twilight looking at her trying to see what she's getting at. "Hmm..." Celestia trying to figure out why Twilight didn't go down, like the Alicorns, after all she was one herself... Luna bounced out of the room and on Celestia. "Hi, Tia!" Luna said still energetic. "Well, I know Luna's been affected by the feedback..."  She sounding irritated. Celestia gets up and walks outside. "I need some fresh air, I'll be back soon." She said opening her wings and gracefully flying away. "Ooo... I want to come!" Luna said getting ready to fly "No.. stay her please... I need time alone." Celestia said as she looked back at her sister. "oh...Ok " Luna said, slight sound of sadness in her voice. "let's find sometime to do for now Luna" Twilight said trying to get Celestia's sister to calm down. "She'll be back later." Twilight said "Ok..." Luna said wondering what to do. "We should explore the house!" Luna suggested "maybe we should wait for Xavier and Rose to get back first" Twilight said trying to stop Luna from going down the dark creepy stairs, "We would get lost without them or at least until Celestia gets back, she might be able to light the room down there." Twilight said as she looked through the door at the darkness. It just stared back at her, eerily. "Ok...lets wait, but what do we do while we wait?" Twilight tried to think of something to do but nothing came to her. "I feel like sleeping so just go... find something to entertain yourself" Twilight said as she walked to the couch to lie down and rest. "Ok..." Luna said looking around waiting for Twilight to fall asleep. walking to the other room, and waited for about 10 minutes, then walked down into the dark room. it smelled of rotting wood, rusting metal and was extremely dusty. Luna cast a spell to create a light and walked around, exploring the room. it was massive, as far as she could tell she walked for a little bit looking something interesting. Luna stopped, turned around, hearing something moving behind her. she couldn't see anything around just some empty boxes lying on the ground. finding a feather that looked like Celestia's but not quite, something was different about it... it doesn't feel like her type of magic on it. in fact it didn't have a trace of magic on it. So it couldn't be her's, so who's was it? *rustle* "Hello?"she said out loud. Luna continued walking down across the room, through a hallway, looking for the source of the sound. turning around, she saw someone else was down here with her... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 - Through the Darkness... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 - Through the Darkness... Face to face with someone else, She had wings, tuck in on her back. The girl was was looking at Luna, inspecting her. The girl looks about the same age as Xavier. Luna wondered how long she must have been down here. The girl was starting  to move around Luna. Luna just watched her making sure that she don`t do anything harmful. After she got a good look at Luna, Luna thought it might be her turn to check this newcomer out. She had big Beautiful white wings smaller than Xavier's, but not by much. She looked fine, though she could use more food, though. The girl outstretched her wings for Luna to get a good look at them. no flaws to be found on her wings. Her body was skinny, but healthy. She was watching Luna, just as Luna had done to her, making sure no sudden movements. after checking the girl out, Luna looked around for something else to find still watching the girl as she walked away. after not finding anything but nothing except a dark hallway. Luna walked back to the girl. "Why are you doing down her?" Luna asked the girl's wings automatically spread and covering her, not expecting the pony to talk. "you talk?" asked the girl. "yeah... the other ones asked that too..." Luna said. "the other ones?" She asked looking at Luna suspiciously. "Yeah, a boy and girl." Luna said "Really? Wow I thought that I was the only one here after the humans left. They took most of the others... leaving me behind with..."she said hesitating"nothing else...power went out after a while not sure how long ago, but never actually ventured this far, We just lived on the other side of the laboratory, in a separate house, hidden by the bushes." she explained. "Oh...well come meet the others! They have wings like you!" Luna said excitedly. "uh... Ok..." The girl said cautiously. ****************************************************************************************** Flying back home I noticed that Celestia flew out of the house and sat on a cloud looking out at the ocean."lets go, check on her." I said to Rose, pointing at Celestia. We flew towards the cloud that she was lying down on. "hey...what's up?" I ask, as we land beside her. "oh...hi" she says surprised to see us. "just needed so time time to think." Celestia said looking back at the ocean. "Do you mind if we join you?" I asked her, wondering what's bugging her. "not at all" She said not taking her gaze off of the ocean. I lye down to the left of Celestia, Rose sit to the left of me. I stare to the sky, losing myself in thought. "maybe we should go back in side..." Rose said, breaking the silence. We both agreed, but i said that i would join them later. I wanted to try something. When they got inside I took flight, pushing myself to my limit to see how fast I could go. tilting up, I fly up, know i can get more speed if I go up, first, then down to gang more speed. Pushing off of cloud that I pass I get to a god height and start to fly down at steep level, my wings beating as fast as they could, feeling the air resistance building as i go, wind curling around my wings, my body took over naturally flying faster and faster towards the water. Noticing how far I've traveled, I lean in to a slight angle to turn towards the house, going straight at it, as I break the barrier, sound just stops, nothing left to interrupt my thought, nothing to slow me down. Its absolute bliss, but I'm not the only one flying at this speed... ....................................................................................................................................................................... Rose and Celestia fly back to the house, Finding that twilight is asleep. Rose walked around looking for Luna. "Where's Luna?" Rose asked to no one in particular. Celestia nudged Twilight gently waking her up. "hmm?" said Twilight looking around. "where's Luna?" Rose asked again to the tired Twilight. "um..." looking around for clues to where she went. "I think..she went down stairs...I told her not to, but I fell asleep" Twilight said as she walked to the stairs. "Just relax, Twilight. She's an Alicorn, she can take care of herself...but let's check on her" Celestia said, not wanting Twilight to panic, remembering what happened last time she did. "Should we wait until my brother gets back?" Rose asked "We could...only for a short time though." Celestia said, looking outside seeing something moving extremely fast. not one, but two, flying at incredible speeds. Hearing two, massive booms confirm her suspicion, for one of them, as for the other one, 'could it be him?' Celestia though.  "What was that? another portal?" Twilight looking more awake now. "No, I think your friend, Rainbow Dash has arrived" Celestia said look away from the rainboom and at Twilight now."really, uh...what should we do?" Twilight asked "lets get Rose and Xavier get Rainbow, as for us, we get Luna" Celestia replied. ****************************************************************************************** As I'm flying, I notice a rainbow-cyan colored blur flying about the same speed as me. but as it breaks the barrier, it causes a blast-radius of color, with a stream of rainbow following the blur around. I slow down by pulling up, stopping above the house. Amazed by the color, and speed of the blur, I forgot to keep beating my wings, and I fall slightly, catching myself. still watching as the cyan-blur slows, I land on the roof. Rose comes to join me. "apparently, that's another pony" Rose said pointing at the blur. "and we have to get her and bring her back here. The others are going downstairs..." she said, taking flight. "Ok..." I say, kind of confused, following her. The rainbow dissipated slowly, and at the end of it was the cyan colored pony we where send to retrieve. "where am I?" said the pony looking around, back facing us. "Hey, over here!" Rose called to the pony "Ah!...what are you?" she asked, turning around to face us. "Humans...technically" I said to her, as she inspected us from a distance. "Come with us, your friend, Twilight, and the two Princess', are at our house right now." I continued turning and flying to the house semi-expecting her to follow or not follow. "hmm...Ok, I guess, plus how would they know Twilight's name any ways, right?" she whispered to her self. she followed at a distance, I didn't rush her knowing that even if we get there, they will probably be still downstairs. ****************************************************************************************** "Ok, lets go, Twilight." Celestia said, walking down the into the darkness. Celestia tilted her head slightly as her horn started to glow gently. "well? what are you waiting for, Twilight?" She said looking back up at Twilight "Afraid of the dark?" she joked "hmm? No, just not sure why Luna wanted to come down here." Twilight said, copying Celestia spell.Twilight walked down the stairs, walking beside the Princess. Twilight looked around trying to find clues to where Luna wandered to. not to long in to the walk, she found a box that had been moved from its original position. "this box has been moved, so Luna must have come this way" Twilight said. looking around some more, Twilight found a hallway, leading to another massive room. "wow. humans must be more advanced than us... they have so much new technology that I've never seen before. can I take some?" Twilight asked with an excited and curious voice. "I'm afraid not, Twilight. If you do if will make it impossible to close the rift." Celestia explained. "even something small, will make hard to close." Twilight just looked disappointed, but didn't argue with Celestia. "lets keep going." Luna said as she walked around the large, dark room, small circle of light blue light, emanating from her horn. "Where did the stairs go? hmm..." "I don't know...never actually came down here before, and I can't remember what my name is..." She said. "Ok... so...let me retrace my steps...that might work." Luna said, walking around finding the spots that had been disturbed by her earlier. Luna came to the hallway she came down earlier, but heard someone coming down it. Luna looked back at the Girl, quietly telling her to be silent. crouching, ready to jump on the person coming around the corner. ............................................................................................................................................... "Celestia? Where do you think she went?" Twilight said quietly, looking around the massive room. "I'm not sure Twilight, she could of wandered anywhere." Celestia said, her voice with a little bit of worry."It's ok...I'm sure she's fine" Twilight said, trying to comfort her, though not sure herself. the soft glow around them was enough to see around them but not far enough to see across the room. Twilight walked away to look at some test tubes that where knocked over, but still dusty. Twilight found a Lab report on the ground labeled 'The Angel Experiment'. There where some foreign signs on the clipboard, but most of it she could make out. "oh my..." Twilight said quietly "What is it, Twilight?" Celestia said walking over to her. Twilight's purple glow was over run by a yellow glow as Celestia walked over to look at the clipboard. She hovered it in front of her face. "Well that explains why they are here..."Celestia said, sounding like she didn't really care. Celestia put the clipboard down and walked away towards the dark hallway, with Twilight not far behind. Twilight saw a soft blue glow, but the glow disappeared before she could focus on where it was coming from. it  seemed that Celestia didn't notice it though. "I think Luna is just up ahead, Celestia" Twilight said quietly. Celestia just looked over her shoulder and continued to walk. Twilight started to silently worry. 'something's up... Celestia usually isn't like this...and her color is hard to tell if it's faded...I hope the Rift didn't affect her in that way...' Celestia keeps walking through the halls, searching for her sister, while Twilight follows, keeping an eye on her and one out for Luna. reaching the end of the hall, Luna pounces on Celestia, smiling, after noticing it's just her "oh, hey Tia" she smiles, looking over at Twilight "look who I found" points to the new arrival, as she shyly waves "uh...hi" smiles, looking at both of the others. Twilight watches her carefully, helping Celestia back up "do you have a name?" she asks  "no, I don't remember much" she says, looking at the way twilight and Celestia came from. "Ok...see ya" I say quietly walking out the door to outside. as i got to the patio, I jumped off to the ledge to the ledge below. walking to the cliff to watch the sun rise...
