Chapter one: birth

It was a beautiful night at the canterlot castle thanks to princess luna as her sister princess celestia was using her magic for the 100th time to hatch her egg that her father gaven to years ago before he and his wife disapper, not to worry though because the princess was in her teenage years before they left so she could raise luna and the kingdom at the same time.

Though it may be boring at time ruling a kingdom, she still have luna to keep her company. But for some reasons all she could think about is the egg, what kind of egg is it supposed to be? Maybe it's a wierd chicken or a space alien or something. She couldn't focus on anything else but that egg, so as the years go on she trys using her magic to hatch the egg but as usual nothing.

"Why in equestria do i even bother?" She asked in a sad tone as she began to cry from failing her father.

Two minutes later she wipe the tears off and try one more time, this time though she used all her magic to hatch her gift and after a bright flash appered she looked at the egg only to a small baby dragon inside yawning from it's sleep.

"Father" She began to spoke

"Thank you"
