Chapters A sequel to My Little Dashie
It’s been about 2 months now since they came and took my dashie from me. Two months of miserable depression. But no, I can’t think of it like that. It’s been two months since they returned her to her home. But those two months have felt like two millennia.
I’ve lost my job, lost the few friends I’ve managed to make, and living on the money I’ve saved up over those fifteen years. When people ask what happened, I tell them I’ve lost someone very close to me, which is very true.
It’s getting to be about seven o’clock, the time I normally go to bed now. I think about walking up the stairs to my bedroom, but then I’d have to walk past the office room that used to be her room. Instead, I collapse into my father’s old lay-z-boy, dashies favourite chair in the house. I miss her bad.
As I sleep, I have a dream. I’m flying. Flying in the clouds. I feel happy. I haven’t felt happy like this for a long time. I stop for a moment, and I look ahead of me. There in front of me, I see a light cyan and rainbow object. I’m stunned. Is it her? I race ahead to reach it, but then I’m falling, falling, falling. I see the ground rising up below me.
I jolt awake. I look around me, heart pounding like the bass in dubstep, skin sweating, lungs rising and falling quickly, feeling frantic. It reminds me of how my parents died. My body jumps up off the chair, convinced I’m still falling. I stand there for a few moments, in the middle of my living room in the utter blackness. I
feel around, hands scrabbling in the air, trying to find the lightswitch. I find it, and I flick it on. I look around, half expecting to see her there. She isn’t. The joy of that dream, of almost seeing her, and seeing the bright colors, and then waking up, alone, in the darkness, away from even most humans, only exacerbates my own misery and sadness.
I take a few deep breaths, calming myself. I walk into the kitchen, flipping on the light switch, intending to check the time and get a glass of water. It’s two in the morning, with no moon. I look out the window, and I see nothing, just velvety blackness. Then I see a light from up the road in front of my house. I get excited, because almost no cars ever drive this way. Thats why I picked this spot, so we could be alone, and she could grow up without other people to see her, and start asking questions that can’t be answered. The lights grow, but it’s just a car. All that excitement is let down, and I forget the glass of water.
I turn all the lights off, then decide to sleep in my room for the first time since they took her from me. I mean since the first time since she returned home. I walk up the hallway, and random, assorted memories come back to me. Her obsession with racing, and speed, the feeling of her wings as she slept next to me.
I have a thought, that all this is probably fake, and that I’m probably in a padded room somewhere while doctors examine my insanity as I babble on about whatever I’d babble about. But if I am insane, then I’ll enjoy every minute of it. My little place in my head is probably better than whatever the supposedly real world is. but thinking like this will drive me insane if I’m not already. But is that possible? Being insane inside of my Insanity's? I’m getting a headache now, thinking on like this. I decide to forget it, and live in the present, whether or not this is real. I notice I’m at the top of the stairs, and I’ve probably been standing here for a while. If Dashie was here, she would have nudged me, and snapped me out of this rut that my mind was running in.
I miss her. I miss her badly. I walk past her room, on the way to mine, when I see the light is on in her room, with the door closed. I walk in, and see it’s still the same, still an office. But the lamp next to the computer is on, and a note sits on the desk. I pick it up, and I recognize the handwriting, or more importantly, the mouth-writing. the beginning reads as I remember it, but it changes quickly.
Daddy, for fifteen years you took care of me. You have helped shape me into the mare that I am today, and i believe that i have helped you change as well. I’m not a mare of many words, and more importantly, I don’t have much time to tell you everything that I want to. I have managed to change the contents of this letter to tell you a very important message. I have a gut feeling that we shall see each other again, but I don't know when or how, or how long from now it will be. Just take comfort in the fact that I will see you again.

Rainbow dash.
This letter fills me with hope, and confusion. Is she coming here? Am I going to her? How? Why? And most importantly; WHEN?? I sit down, and think. It has been about two months here, so how long has it been there? Only a few hours I think.
Does she remember me? Does she remember her friends? Is she fitting in? Is she depressed like I am? Has she adapted to her new life there? Is she happy? How and why did she rewrite the letter? I don’t know. I don’t know the answer to any of these questions. That realization crushes me. I look out the window, and I see the sun rising in a mane of rainbow colors, ending in a cerulean blue. The sight of it calms me, and seems to fill me with hope and joy.
I decide to go for a walk outside...
A sequel to My Little Dashie
It has been a year and some months now, and while the happiness from that day has faded, neither have I become depressed again. I am now at peace with myself. While I have not gotten a job again, I am, however, managing to get by.
I'm sleeping in my room again, instead of in my fathers chair. Maybe I have finally let him go. I have a picture of my mother and father on my bedside table, the last picture of them before their death. Ever since then, I have never travelled by plane again, and was generally afraid of heights. They died in a plane crash. That's why I was so protective of dashie, trying to limit how high she flew, I case she fell.
I walk every morning and evening, right as the sun is rising and setting, hoping to see a sunrise. I walk no matter what the weather is like, if it’s raining, snowing, sleeting, snowing, storming, or shining. It’s relaxing.
It's storming this evening as I walk, but the clouds are directly overhead, so there's the rich and deep purples of the clouds in shadows, with sunlight reaching through in certain areas and painting them a stark white. Then there's the rainbow colored sunset over on the horizon. I'm wet from the rain, but its a warm day, and the sunlight is slightly drying me as I walk. It strikes me of how a beautiful of a day it is. I decide to take my shoes and socks off, and feel the grass beneath my feet. It's a soft, damp and warm blanket of green stalks beneath my feet, tickling my soles.
I reach the top of a hill, and I have a beautiful view of the landscape for miles. I look behind me, and I can see my house with the porch lights on, an island of light amidst the velvety blackness and purple of the clouds. I decide to get home before it starts storming bad, so I turn around and put my shoes on and start walking. I walk for a few miles, in the approaching twilight, the most content that I have been for a while. As I walk along, I see the tree that me and Dashie sat under in a previous storm. I'm less than a fourth of a mile from home now, but something makes me stop. I remember the note that I have, and so I decide to sit under a neighboring tree, and just sit for a while, leaning my back against the trunk. Its rather relaxing, just sitting there, leaning on the tree, with the soft pitter-patter of the rain, the occasional boom of the thunder, and the accompanying flash of light.
I must have dozed off, because the storm has passed now, and the stars are out. The moon is hanging low on the horizon, and the stars are all thrown across the canvas of the sky, painting a picture of white, twinkling dots, set in the black, inky darkness of the void surrounding them. It’s an amazing sight. Then I focus on what's on the ground around me.
There, right in front of me, is me. I look almost faded out, as though I'm seen through a veil of fog. Then I recognize the scene. I look around for what, or who, I know must be there also if what I’m thinking is correct. And I am correct.
There she is. About 5 feet in front of me, is Dashie. She also has that after image look to her. I don’t think about what must be happening to let me see the past, all I’m thinking of is that I am. That i have finally seen her again. I washes over me, that it has been over a year since I last saw my daughter, and tears spring to my eyes.
She walks along towards the other me, and I can see them talking. I try to say something, anything, just trying to make contact with her, through the fabric of time, no matter the concequences, but a force stops my words, leaves them hanging dead in the air, never to be heard of from anyone but me.
I give up, instead I focus all my energy on reaching out a hand to her, to touch her, to feel her mane, to make some sort of physical contact. But whatever is causing me to see this ghostly image is exerting an outwards force against my reaching hand, stopping me. It feels like fast flowing water moving over, under, and through my hand, forcing it back, keeping me out of whatever is happening. I push harder, determined to make contact. Then I seem to break through whatever force is holding me there. I reach out, unimpeded, and touch her mane. The second I do, however, the entire scene fades, and all that I have to show for my effort is a single item...

Because of there being no tab button on my iPod's keyboard and te fact that I copy and paste from the google drive app, the indents are gone. The paragraphs are still broken up with a space though.
In the next chapter (I already have it written, just proofing it now, I'll publish it tomarrow morning) everything really begins to pick up pace.
A sequel to My Little Dashie
It has been a few months now since the last incidence has happened. The summer solstice is coming up, and there is supposed to be a lunar eclipse that night. Once in a million years, the scientists say.
I’ve turned on my computer for the first time in months, and I get a surprise. I opened my inbox, and amid all the spam, and messages from my former friends and family, is a message to me from a certain Dr. Whooves.
I check the time right now; Its 10:34 in the morning right now. The message says it was delivered at 11:11 in the morning today. Its saying that it was sent after I received it. I’m confused. I open it first, as it caught my attention the most. I click on it, and the message come up.
Dear Dashes father,
I’m ecstatic, I shall be going to Equestria, something most bronies can only dream of! I’ll get to see my Dashie again. But then I stop, and truly think about what he had said. I might never come back. The thought fills me with an odd mix and joy and sorrow, happy because I’ll be able to leave all this behind, and sad because I know I will leave all this behind. I type back a quick yes, and then I wipe my computers hard drive.
I’m not exactly sure why I do this, I just know I have to erase all traces of it from my house. I set an alarm for 8:30, and then sleep for the rest of the day.
I awake to the sound of an alarm ringing, and I lay there for a while, just ignoring it and letting it ring. Then, in a rush, all that happened this morning rushes back to me, and I jump out of my bed, turn off my alarm, and I race downstairs, putting on a dark blue sweater. Its 8:50. I walk out onto my front lawn, not knowing what to expect. I walk into my house, slam a glass of water, and walk back out into the yard. And there he is.
He’s slightly smaller than Rainbow Dash, but I assume he’s older. I can tell by the look in his eyes. He is a dark brown, with a light brown mane and tail and bright green eyes.
“Doctor?” Thats all I manage to get out before my voice cracks. I realize its almost been 2 years since the last time I have said anything. I clear my throat.
“Doctor Whooves, is that you? Is it time to go?” I ask, able to speak now.
“Yes it is. It seems you know my name, but I don't seem to be able to recall yours” the stallion says. It has a british sounding voice, almost as if he had lived in london. I’m shocked.
“Just call me Mr.Dash, please” I manage to stammer out. He seems to know what I’m shocked about, as he laughs.
“Alrighty then, Mr. Dash. You weren't expecting me to sound so, human, were you? No matter, I shall tell you. After all I have all the time in the world.” Its then that I notice he has an hourglass on his flank. That, along with his wording of the sentence ‘I have all the time in the world’ piques my interest. Theres something about him that I just cant place.
He speaks. “You see, I used to be a human, just like you, but I had this wonderful device called a tardis. I forgot where the name came from, but, nonetheless, my dear boy, thats what it was called. It allowed me to travel through time and space, travelling to important dates and locations, past, present, and future, where I was needed. I have absolutely no control over it, it just goes where I need to be. I was heading back to my original time and location after an event, where instead it brought me to equestria. Once there, I met a, uhmm, charming young mare by the name of Ditsy. Long story short, I was there, working on the tardis, since the jump to equestria had fried its circuits. I was about halfway done with it, when I heard your amazing story. Being the nice person I am, I decided to finish my work as soon as possible, and bring you back there to her. so, two years later, here I am."
I’m stunned. What he’s saying is almost too big to comprehend. He can time travel. That's why he has all the time in the world. He can control time. It takes a lot to stun me, considering what I’ve seen and done in the last 17 years.
“So, are you ready to go?” he asks with a manic smile, oblivious to the bomb he dropped on me. He continues smiling in silence for a full thirty seconds before realizing something is wrong. He gives me a questioning look.
“I’m fine... just a bit of a shock.” I find myself saying. I give him a smile, hoping to convince him.
“What a garish smile, man.” he says, perpetually oblivious to himself and everything else. I feel slightly disconcerted, with his own manic smile, and just his general bearing. “Well, come on, we don't have all day. Are you coming, or are you staying, because it really looks like you’ve prepared yourself to go.”
“Ya, sure, just one question” I say.
“Anything for a friend” he replies, still smiling.
“Can you stop smiling, please?” I ask.
He smiles wider. “Nope. Is that your one question? Thats a rather bad question, don't you think?” he says in his rapid fire way. He relents though, the smile fading off his face.
“No, its not.” I say. “My question was, If you can travel into the future, don't you already know what my answer is?
He laughs, and I can detect more than a hint of hysteria in it. “Why, yes, when I go into the future, I see one possible outcome. Not only can I travel forwards and backwards through time, but I can also travel sideways.” He sees my confused look, and laughs that laugh again.
“Alright, I’m getting a headache. Let’s just go.” I say, as I rub my temple, trying to get rid of the headache. He smiles (again) as I say that. Hes telling me not to think too hard on it, that I’ll go insane, yet I think he might already be. That makes two people (or horses) that might be insane right here.
“Alright, the tardis should be here any minute.” He sits, looking perfectly content. I sit next to him, thinking.
Not able to take it any longer, I ask him. “Does everypony know your backstory, or what?” I ask him.
“No, only a few do. That mare, Ditzy, and a certain DJ, Vinyl Scratch, know my full backstory. The rest only know that I’m not from around there.” He says. The thought actually seems to sadden him a little. “I’m counting on you to keep that secret for me, you know.” he says as he gives me a serious look.
“Ya, no problem, long as you do the same for me.” I say.
“No problem” he says. Even with his eccentricities, I’m already starting to like him.
Theres a flash, along with a loud popping sound, and a phone booth appears in my yard. I jump up, surprised. He just stands up, mutters: a little late, and walks into it. “Come along now” he shouts at me. I walk into the device, a little bit awed, and Whooves is messing with a few dials.
“Alrighty now, we should be off in just a few moments!” Whooves says manically.
“What does it feel like to-” I’m cut off as my house, and all my surroundings disappear. for a second I’m treated to a wonderful view of outer space, then we disappear again.
Theres a flash and next thing I know, I’m face down in the dirt, With my body feeling weird, things out of place, and having appendages that shouldn't be there. I look up, and see...
Wings...
I pass out from the shock...

Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I published, considering I've had this written for a while. I used that time working on a new collection of stories (which I shall tell you about later) and to proof my work, since that seemed to be the second biggest complaint of the last two. And if you're here to hate on this being a sequel, I have news for ya: I just don't give a fuck.
And now, on to what I mentioned earlier! I have started work on a new collection of stories. Completely original. I hope you check it out! Warning; it is a gore fic, but the following entries shall not be as gory as the first one. I actually surprised myself when I finished it.
A sequel to My Little Dashie
I’m awakened by loud laughter, with a hint of hysteria behind it.
“It... It worked! I wasn’t sure that I’d even get you here, but it did so much more than that!” The voice says.
I try to stand up, but my muscles seem to be in the wrong place, or not even there. I can still move my neck, and my head (which feels very strange, almost in the wrong shape) and what I see astounds me. I’m a pegasus.
I manage to get my feet, er, my hooves under me, but I’m still unsteady. It's hard on a person or a pony, just having your body changed.
“I can’t believe it! You’re just like me now! Amazing!” Doctor Whooves shouts. "I thought I was destined to be the only one of my kind, but now there's you!"
“Ya, real fucking amazing, Whooves. Maybe a little warning would have been nice, though.” I say angrily to Doctor Whooves.
He frowns momentarily, obviously thinking. “Ah, but I did. In the letter I sent you, I did warn you. I said this was possible.” I’m still angry, but as he says this, I remember that he did tell me. And as I see the look on his face, I ease up a little on him.
“Alright, you’re right. I’m here, so now what? Where do we go? Where do you live?" I ask him.
"We're going there now, hang on" the small stallion tells me.
We walk along to where he lives. “I think shes home right now. I’m not sure. Come on in" Whooves says. He opens the door (I have to find out how they do that, with the whole no hands thing) and lets me in. He shuts the door behind me.
“Vinyl, I’m back!” He shouts up the stairs to the second floor.
“Down in a sec, bro. Finishing up a drop. OH! Did you get him!? Has he come back?!” the other voice shouts excitedly.
“Yes, and don’t call me bro, speak properly. And yes, come and meet him for yourself.”
“Whatever, dude.” the voice shoots back sarcastically. I hear hooves excitedly walking down the steps, and then I see her. The white coat, the alternatingly light blue and dark blue mane, the purple glasses, I’d know her anywhere, being a dubstep lover myself. I can't believe I'm about to meet the one and only, Vinyl Scratch.
“Shit, man, you’re pretty big” Vinyl Scratch says.
“Yeah, I haven't gotten used to myself yet. Can’t even fly yet” for some reason, she makes me nervous. It’s then that she notices my wings. We both stand there for some time, looking at myself. I have a dark blue coat, with a spiked mane of red, blue, and green. And I'm huge. Almost one and a half times bigger then Vinyl, both wider and taller.
“Vinyl, what color are my eyes?” I ask the mare standing in front of me.
“I dunno. Lemme get a good look at them.” She replies.
“Up yours, Doc.” She playfully snaps at him. “Kinda hard havin two ‘fancy’ people in the house. you’re not one of them are you? Anyways, let me see your eyes then.”
I look straight into her eyes as I say “Nope. Hate grammar freaks.”
“Good...” she replies. She stares into my eyes even more intensely, taking off her glasses, revealing here startlingly red ones. A few more seconds go by, with me getting more and more uncomfortable, when she winks at me. Just a slow, lazy wink, almost like she’s trying to flirt with me. After that I break eye contact, and she breaks out in laughter.
“They’re an interesting mix of gold and green. Rather nice looking.” she says
“Great...” I reply without thinking. I'm still caught in her rosy eyes. I blink, and and look away before she notices.
“So, are you like hoovesy here, not from ‘around here’?” she asks knowingly.
“Oh really, you are going to call me ‘hoovesy’ now? How childish of you” Dr. whooves replies.
I can see Vinyl just about to snap back some sarcastic reply, so I answer her original question before this gets out of hand.
“Children, quiet” I say to both of them.
“Oh really, now you call me a child too?” Vinyl replies, mock offended.
“No, I was just saying that because you two were acting like children” I say. “Yes, I’m from the same general area as your, erhm, friend, Doctor Whooves. Now quiet, and let me think, alright?” I can see she's bursting with questions, so I give here a look that plainly says to shut up. She gets it, and sits down.
What I need to do is find out where Dash is, and get to her. Thats my primary, and only goal. But there is three things holding me back.
One: I have no clue where she is.
Two: even if I did know where she is, I wouldn’t know how to get there, I would need someone to guide me.
Three: I’m hungry and tired. It must be starting to get later in the evening, but I can’t tell. I stand up, not realizing I had sat down, and start walking around the house, looking for a window while I’m thinking.
First, I have to rest. Tomorrow, I can get started, but not tonight, for it is night. I have finally found a window, and the last bits of the sunset are fading out.
“Just call me Mr. Dash. And I’m fine, why do you ask?”
“Wellll, You’ve been looking out that window for about fifteen minutes. Mr. Dash? Are you related to Rainbow Dash? You do look like her. Are you here dad or something? That would kinda make sense of why you’re here. You know, no one has seen here for the last two years. we’ve all been wondering where she went. She was an awesome pony to DJ with. Über cool” Vinyl blurts out. There's part of the solution for problem one. No one has seen her for two years. It's not a lot, but its a lead.
“Well, Vinyl, for one thing you should slow down and think a little. You’re giving me a headache.” I say.
“Vinyl, It would not make sense for Mr. Dash to be our Dash’s father" Whooves is covering for me. "Until about an hour ago, he used to be human. But that is part of the reason why he is here.”
“Actually, you’re wrong Whooves. I might not be here genetic father, but I did raise here. I’m the most father like figure in her life. So, yes, I am her father.” I stop and think for a second. “Vinyl, you said she hasn’t been seen for two years, can you or Hooves explain?”
“I CAN!” Vinyl practically shouts. “Well, Two years ago, she returned from your world/dimension/thing, and so she came back here for a few months. But she was having a hard time here, with flashbacks, depression, and, well, her memories didn't really fit with some stuff, because of all that happened. So Celestia came and took her back to the castle, I think.”
And that's where te lead leads. To Celestia's castle “Anything you can add, Whooves?” I say, looking at the doctor.
“Nothing I can think of at the moment, although if I remember anything, be assured I will tell you.” He says.
“A simple ‘no’ would’ve been just fine, you know.” I reply. “Whatever. I’m hungry, got anything to eat?”
“Yep, leftovers are in the fridge. Help yourself. Come upstairs when you’re done.” Vinyl says. I mumble back a thanks while walking into the kitchen.
Author's Note
Yep. I'm using the cliched human-into-pony idea. I'm trying to build a relatationship between Mr. Dash and Vinyl Scratch without making it sound rushed or manufactured. How did I do? Please comment on what you think, ideas welcome. Oh ya, and who knew? Rainbow Dash, dubstep lover and part-time dj assistant?

I'm a... Pegasus? Part two
I walk upstairs, to find Vinyl sitting behind a laptop, with a headset over her ears, her eyes closed. She must really be getting into the beat of that song. She has them up so loud that I can feel the bass pouring out of them, along with something else that almost sounds like a piano. Seems like an odd mix for dubstep, but you never know.
“So, Vinyl, how do you use a laptop with, you know, hooves?” I ask. She can’t hear me though. I say her name once more loudly, before giving up.
“Go up to her and tap the outside of the headset, right in the middle. Makes a really loud boom inside of it.” Doctor Whooves says. I jump because I hadn’t seen him when I had first come up the stairs. He’s sitting in a chair, reading a book.
“How do you...”
He must know what I'm thinking, because he says “no clue. It just works that way. Don’t question it.”
I decide to take his advice on it, and I just try to ignore it for now. I walk up to Vinyl and tap on her headset. She jumps, and slides the headset down around her neck.
“Whaddya want?” she says irritably.
“Just felt like annoying you.” I say.
“Well, It worked. You got my attention, and disrupted me. Now I have to getcha back, pony code. I can tell you were going to ask me something. What was it?” She says, slightly less irritated.
“Just, how do you use a laptop?”
“Like this”
“No really?” The door downstairs opens, and I look at Vinyl, then at Whooves, wondering who it could be. They look like this is normal, so I decide to ignore it.
“Up her, Tavi” Vinyl shouts down to whoever it was downstairs.
“Alright. I’ll be up in a minute” says a high class sounding voice.
“Who is that?” I ask Vinyl.
“Oh, no one. Just Octavia getting home from a concert” she says nonchalantly. I hear hooves coming up the stairs, and then she appears at the top of the stair well. She’s a mare, With a light cream brown coat, a gray main, and steel blue eyes. Her mane is combed back in an old fashioned style. Her eyes instantly focus on me. Without looking away, she says with a hint of menace “And who might you're new friend be, Vinyl?”
“Oh no, not my friend. Whooves’ friend. He needed a place to crash for a while so I invited him to stay here. Problem?” Vinyl says off hand.
“Oh, just you know, the fact that theres a fucking stranger in the house, who is a friend of a pony we don’t really know. Just this little thing most of us have called caution. Ever heard of it?”
“Yeah, I had that a few years ago. But then I found dubstep, and so I threw out caution to make more room for dubstep up in my head” Vinyl says with a completely straight face. She looks at Octavia, daring her to argue.
"Really? So you just let huge stallions we not know in the house all the time? He's so big, he could probably take the three of us on by himself!"
"You forget the fact that I'm a Pegasus, not an earth pony like you and Whoovesie over there"
"Hey!" Whooves shouts in insult.
"Suck it" she says back, smiling. Whooves just looks at her wierd.
“Whatever. But if he becomes a problem, he gets out.”
“Oh, so now I’m just some random pony that you don’t even know?” Whooves says, while looking genuinely hurt.
“I’m sorry, no, thats not what I meant. It’s just that we don’t know this guy really well. I don’t even know his name. He looks familiar, but I can’t place it. And no offense, we’ve only known you for three years.” Octavia says with an apologetic look Whooves. I’m slightly confused by this exchange, for it seems to show that theres something going on between Whooves and Octavia.
“Well, I know him pretty well. His name Mr. Dash. Rainbow Dash’s father. Thats why he looks familiar.” Whooves says, defending me. I feel glad that Whooves is sticking up for me.
“I might not even be here for a while. It all depends on how things work out.” I say.
“Fine. Whatever. Just don’t mess with anything. And never, ever go in my room!” she snaps at me. After she says that, she gives me a look, then walks out of the room, into what I presume is her room.
“Sorry, bro. She don’t normally act like that. She just has to know whatever is going on before it happens.” Vinyl says.
“Ya, no problem. It could’ve gone worse.” I say. Like being stabbed by a controlling pony who hates strange ponies. But I keep this part to myself.
“So anyways, I just finished a new mix. Come here and check it out. Sounds pretty great” Vinyl says, changing the subject quickly. I walk on over by her laptop, and I’m greeted with a screen of confusing sliders, and waves, and a bunch of other things that make no sense to me.
“Put these on” Vinyl hands me her headphones. I reach up and over my head, slipping them over my ears. They’re still warm from her using them. I get them snug over my ears, and she says something that sounds like, Ready? I can't hear here, so I just say ‘play it’, but I can’t even hear my own voice. These must be high quality dj’ing headphones. She gives me a wicked smile, then clicks a few things on her computer and the music starts.
It starts with a simple violin opening, that quickly gives way to heavier electronic sounds. The two voices (the violin and the synths) seem to fight over control of the main baseline, with is extremely heavy and deep. All three leads quiet down, then altogether stop. I start to take them off, but vinyl vigorously shakes her head no. I slide them back up in time to catch one of the heaviest drops I’ve ever heard. The bass doesn't seem to diminish only getting louder and louder until it drowns out the synth and the violin. It pauses for a second, then drops a second time, so loud that it seems to blow my eardrums out. The violin and the synths return, this time in harmony, accompanied by a piano. It all builds into a bone shattering crescendo, then it all goes silent. I wait for a few measures, making sure its over, before taking off the headphones, and sliding it down around my neck.
It seems weirdly quiet in one of my ears, so I kind of paw at it with one of my hooves. I pull my hooves away, and out of the corner of my eye I can see it has blood on it. I shout, startled that my ear is bleeding. Its not a lot, and already I can hear my hearing returning.
“You all right?” Vinyl says. She and Whooves are looking at me worriedly. I look around, and I see that Octavia is walking back out of her room, saying “Vinyl, you made him bleed”
“I’m fine, it’s almost gone already. Anyways, thats a pretty cool song.”
“Thanks bro. Me and Tavi worked on it” Vinyl says.
“Don’t call me Tavi. How many time do I have to tell you?” Octavia says indignantly.
“You and Whooves over there are so
“Long as you don’t mind me calling you pon3 (prounonced 'pownie') from now on” I say jokingly.
She stops and thinks for a minute, and says “I like that name. Might use it more often.”
I laugh, then my fatigue washes over me. “ I’m kinda tired. Anywhere I can crash?” I ask.
“Uhh... theres a couch up in Whooves room. I doubt he’d mind sharing a room with you for a little while.” She looks at pointedly Whooves.
“Go ahead. Don’t need to twist my arm like that” he says.
“Thanks.” I say, Then walk up into the third floor, which is like a loft. I find the couch, and lay down. It's surprisingly soft.
I think back on what has happened in the last few hours. I left my home on earth permanently, became a pony, and now I’ve been accepted into this group.
I feel happy for the first time in years, feel like part of a group. Part of a, dare I say it, family. It feels good.
I lay on the couch, listening to Octavia, Whooves, and Vinyl talk about their days, with Vinyl’s dubstep flowing out of the speakers. Right now, it’s a synth and bass heavy sound, similar to the what I liked at home. I think that, But then I tell myself, this is my home now. This is where I belong.

Hello everyony. I'm back, I can't sleep so I decided to post a new chapter! No sleep. WOO!
I'm building that relationship up between Mr. Dash and Vinyl still, which shall be the focus for the next chapter or two, 'A Night out with Vinyl'. Hope all of you are excited about it. Tell me if you think how everything's going sounds right. Tomarrow morning (in the story) we shall resume him going to find dashie, fear not, I just have to build this up for the end! I can't wait for the finale!

A Night with Vinyl Scratch
I wake up, and see the reason for why standing in the doorway. It's Vinyl.
"You sleeping, bro?" She asks.
"Not anymore" I say with a hint of regret.
"Great! Come on, get up, lets go" she says excitedly.
"What? Where are we going? What time is it even? holy buck Vinyl"
"It is only 8:30 PM, and where going to the club in town. Come on, it'll lbe fun."
I grudgingly get up, and rub the sleep out of my eyes. Whatever we're doing, It must be intresting. Truth be told, I'd be willing to do anything with Vinyl.
We walk down to the entry way on the ground floor, where Vinyl grabs a pair of purple shades, and puts them on. I give her a look, asking 'what are those for' but she just shakes her head, and tosses me her beloved headphone set.
"Slip them over your neck. You're going to need them" she whispers.
I'm confused, but I do as she says. She looks at me for a second, then readjusts the headphones, sliding them lower on my neck and making them lopsided. we walk into town, and she tells me where we're going.
It's a club called 'the hoove' that is the only decent club here in town. It's exclusive, so she gave me the headphones so I could get in as her assistant.
"Assistant for what?" I ask.
"Dude. Brighten up a little. DJing, of course"
We walk along, side by side, through the cold, dark streets on the way to the nightclub. It's cold, and we aren't wearing anything, and so Vinyl snuggles up against my side. As soon as I notice this, my heart skips a beat, maybe three. Shakily, I put my wing over her, to keep her warm. We walk on like this into town (we live a ways out) before she eventually brakes the silence by speaking.
"Wonderful night, huh?"
"It is" I reply. And it truly is. Snow gently falling, the lamps lighting the way with their soft radiance, and a mare huddled close to my side. We disingage before we come within sight of the club, and I'm sure she's probably thinking the same thing I am: friends do that, don't they?
We walk up to the front door, and there is an extremely large stallion bouncer standing infront of the door.
"Hello, Vinyl. Whos your friend? Big guy" He says looking me up and down, slightly disapproving.
"Just a nopony. He's helping me with DJing. Like an apprentice, ya know? You're gonna let him in, aren't chya?"
He continues looking at me, sizing me up, before he finally lets up and lets us pass. "I suppose I can, for a friend. just don't let word get around I'm letting everypony in, alright? Don't cause any trouble, fella" He directs the last part at me.
Vinyl breaks into a large smile. She punches me in the shoulder playfully while saying, "Don't worry. I got this one under control" We walk past him, when Vinyl walks up to him and gives him a quick peck on the cheek.
We walk inside the doors, getting immersed by the bass heavy beats, when I give Vinyl a look, as if to say 'what was that about?'.
"He's just a friend, don't get jealous."
"I'm not jealous. Just wondering what that was about."
"Oh, You'll get jealous soon enough" she says with a smile at me. We're in the back of the club now, next to the pedastel the current DJ is on.
"Follow me" she whispers in my ear, before running up the steps, and fake tackling the pony up on stage. She knocks him on his side, the situates herself behind the turntable, mixer, and plugs her laptop into it all, pulling up some program.
The last DJ gets his feet under him, and announces to the crowd "And here is VINYL SCRATCH, everypony!" This is met with a resounding roar.
"Nah, I got a new name now, givin to me by my good friend here!" She geustured to me, so I stand next to her, in full view of the crowd.
"Come up with a name" she hisses into my ear.
"You need a stage name. Come up with one, ASAP" I think for a moment, before I come up with one. "DJ Dash" I whisper back to her.
"My good friend here, DJ DASH! And my name is Dj PON3!" She gives me a smile. I recognize it. Its what I said I'd call her.
Seized by the moment, I grab the mike and say into it: "And together, we are U-PON-II!" She starts up a track,and while it''s playing, she says: "Nice name. What's it mean?"
"Us Ponies 2" I say. She raises her eyebrows underneath her glasses, appreciating the name.
"Are you ponies ready to jam?" Vinyl shouts into the mike. They scream in response.
"I can't hear you!" They scream louder.
"Alright. Lets get this started!" She plugs her laptop into the turntable, then turns to me. "Put your headphones on, bro! They have some noise cancelling shit in them. Your gonna lose your hearing if you don't"
"Whatever. Your not my mother" I say.
She shrugs her shoulders. "Your choice, I suppose" she sets a song playing on its own while she shows me the ropes. She explains what everything does, and 'assigns' me to the turntable. It's a table, with two discs and quite a few dials and sliders.
"The sliders and knobs change the sound, while each disc is for an individual track. You can spin them, and it will act like its an actual disk. Kinda hard to explain. Just experiment, you'll be fine with me helping" she explains to me.
I flare my wings, and place them on the disks, intending to use them to spin it, while my hooves focus on everything else.
Vinyl slams an energy drink on the corner of the table, saying: "I know how tired you where earlier, so here. Incase you need it"
"Thanks. What about yourself?" I ask, slightly concerned. It's almost 10.
"Never needed them. I can go with about 3 hours of sleep a night, no prob. I doubt you can" she teases me. It goes on like this through the night as we dj, a casual back and forth while we drop beats and bass.
By the time it's over, it's 3 in the morning. Me and Vinyl have both had an amazing amount of alchohol. She's had more then me, and when I ask her about it, she just says she has a high tolerance.
We call a cab to drive us back, and we sit in the back, as happy as only two drunk ponyies can be. When we arrive at home, it takes a little bit for us to get in.
We stumble into the house, when Vinyl whispers to me in a slurred voice: "Quiet. We don't want to wake Otcy. She'll go ballistic!" The thought of a ballistic Octavia sends me into hysterics. I start laughing, and she punches me in the shoulder, making me stop. I look at her with pretend rage, and chase her up to her room. As we pass Octavias room, I think I might see Octavia standing there, but I can't tell her mood.
Once there, I tackle her to her bed, and we end up fake fighting, pushing each other around, until we're both so tired, we're locked in each others arms, feebly pushing. We both fall back, exhausted at the same time. I notice her sheets have the strangest smell. It's very potent, or at least I think so in my drunken state.
I lay there, when I think I should head up to my room, erh, coach, and try to sleep. "Well, god night Vinyl" and with that I kiss her once, right on the forehead. But, because I'm drunk and uncoordinated, I miss, and kiss her in the cheek. She blushes.
I get up to leave, when her hooves reaches out to mine and stops me.
Her logic makes sense to me right now, but to make sure I ask. " you don't mean, that, do you?"
She's shocked. "No!" She exclaims quickly.
"Good"
And so I lay back down, and she snuggles up close to me. And so, we sleep.
Author's Note
Well. Here is one of the big moments in Mr. Dashes relationship with Vinyl. I'm not sure if I should let it go uninterupted, or use it to rip everypony's hearts apart? We'll see. :P
This chapter was very intresting to write, as I had never even planned to write anything slightly romantic. It's not my strong point, so point out anything that you think can be changed for the better. Constructive criticism welcome. I also had to bs my way through the whole turntable scene, as I actually haven't bought one yet. Point out anything that needs to be fixed.

A Serious Talk with Octavia
...I awake to a pounding headache, and confusion. I feel a weight on my top left arm, and so I look at it, and what I see shocks me. Lying there, curled up against me, is Vinyl Scratch. I can see her sides, gently rising and falling from her breathing. Her mouth is slightly open, and I can hear her slightly snoring. Her mane is tickling me where it touches me, and I have some in my face. I look down into her face, and she looks perfectly happy and content. Her eyes are shut, but my memory can vividly describe her rose colored irises.
My headace returns tenfold, so I walk downstairs into the kitchen for a glass of water. I go down, grab it, and drink. As I'm walking back up to my coach, I notice I room I didn't see before.
I walk into the living room, which I hadn't noticed before. I look out the big window that almost fills up the entire outside wall, and I can see we're on a hill, outside of ponyville by a few miles.
I hear someone behind me, and I stay standing there as they walk up behind me. It’s Octavia. She stands there next to me, also looking out the window, not saying anything. The silence stretches for several minutes, before she says something.
“Can’t sleep?”
“No” I say. I wait a few seconds, not knowing if she knows what happened, or if she does, what she'll do. “Looks amazing from right here”
“That it does” she evenly replies. I can tell she’s waiting to tell me something, so I stay quiet, enjoying the moment.
She apparently makes up her mind then, for she says: “I use to live in manhattan, playing in a large orchestra. I had everything I wanted and needed. Nice food, my music, a nice, big house.
Until the day came that I realized, I ate alone, I played in an orchestra, but I played alone. My house was big, but empty of anything living other than myself. I had never needed, or wanted, friends. Until that day.
So, I went home, put on what I thought was a nice shirt, and headed out to one of the local clubs. I thought it would be all refined, all high class. I wasn’t expecting a loud, noisy, obnoxious group of people. I thought it would be quite, with waiters going around, serving wine, maybe a cellist and pianist playing in the corner.
This contrasted so differently with my thought, I decided to buy a drink, then go home. I walked up to the bar, sat down at a seat next to a mare with electric blue hair. I asked the bartender for a chablis, a type of wine, and he just gave me a funny look.
The mare next to me spun around and bought me a hard cider, saying ‘she doesn’t know what shes doing here. Get her a hard cider, on me.’ I said thanks, but I don't know how to repay you. She brushed it off, saying it was ‘no biggie’, and asking me what my name was. I told here Octavia, and she said her name was Vinyl Scratch. ‘just call me Vinyl, though’ she said. We talked for, oh, I don’t know, must have been hours. We became good friends pretty quickly.
I asked her if she had a place to stay, since she didn't look like she was from around here. She said no, and I told her she could stay with me if she wanted to. She came home with me, and we have lived together as friends like that for years. Eventually, we moved here following an incident of Vinyl’s that I can’t tell you.
In all the time I have known here, she has never opened up to anyone like you. She flirts with everpony, but she’ll never actually connect with someone like she did with you. I don’t know what it means, but think about that before you do anything stupid, that ponies like you and here are so susceptible to doing. And remember, if you brake her heart, you will have two incredibly pissy mares hating you ” She finishes, and looks down, as if suddenly self conscious.
I decide to say this: “So you do know about last night. We didn't bang or anything, just acted like drunken fools”
We stand for about 15 minutes, looking at the town down below us, before I decide to try and get some more sleep. “I’m going to try and get more sleep. You should too, alright?” I say.
“Alright. Good night, Dashie. Sleep well" she says
“Good night”

Well, Octavia knows at least most of what happened last night, and is trying to protect her friend, right? Well, notice what she calls him when she says goodnight. Dashie, Vinyls pet name. Do I detect jealousy? Tell me what you think. And don't forget good old Dr. Whooves when you do.
A sequel to My Little Dashie
...I wake up for the third time this morning, but this time, instead of Vinyl laying in my arms, I'm facing the upright potion of a cream colored couche. There is a deep, throbbing sensation in the back of my head, and my gut feels like I drank sulfuric acid. Not pleasant.
I get up out of bed, taking in the room bathed in an orange light from the sunlight. I can only look around for a few seconds before my headache forces me to blink. I slowly recover, and I take in the room.
It's an unfinished floor, with the ceiling at the same angle as the roof, and all the rafters showing in a loft type of look. At each end of the floor there is a window, one looking out over ponyville with the moon setting, the other letting sunlight stream in over Doctor Whooves bed.
I look over at Whooves bed, only to find out it’s empty. They must be downstairs. I slowly walk down the steps, not fully awake, as I’m assaulted by a wave of bass as soon as I get to the first floor.
The sound wakes me up, and it’s so heavy that I'm surprised its not blowing a hole in the wall behind me. Vinyl is standing there, in front of me, pushing around an interesting looking blue speaker contraption on a cart.
The speaker itself is on the bottom rack, with Vinyl’s laptop on top. The speaker looks interesting, with one large, main speaker in the middle, with four smaller speakers in the corners. All in all, something I have never seen before.
The noise from it has died down, so I ask Vinyl, “What is that?”
She replies with a malicious grin “oh, nothing special, just mah BASS CANNON!” With that she slams a button on the top of the speaker, sending a new wave of sound coming at me. I stand there and take it, neither trying to cover my ears or get out of the beam, just taking it in a mix of indeference and annoyance.
“Well, at least you can take the bass, unlike Tavi” says Vinyl, looking over at Octavia. I look over too, realizing our conversation from last night, when she makes eye contact. There's her, telling me to be carefull, but something else underneath that. Longing almost. She breaks eye contact before I can tell.
The bass is still flowing, so I decide to playfully indulge in my annoyance. "Ya need a rematch from last night?" I ask her with a smirk.
Whooves decides to jut in. "Sounds kinky you two. Anyways, I could hear you too last night. Giggling like two school foals. Having fun were we??" I look over at Vinyl, and she's blushing the brightest I've ever seen anyone or anypony I had ever seen. Normally I'd want to find out why, but I owe the dear Doctor a visit. I gallop over to him, and tackle him, rolling him around on the floor a bit, before I pin him on his back with my size, and sit on his stomach region, saying: "you handle just about as well as she does. I like that in a pony, mare or stallion"
I look into his eyes, staring into thier depths. He looks back into mine, obviously shocked and confused. He tries stammering back a response, but I just put a hoof to his mouth, stopping him. I lean down to his ear, whispering loudly enough for everypony to hear: "Hush, don't ruin the moment"
I look up, and see the absolutely shocked looks on Vinyl's and Octavia's face, and I fall off him laughing, kicking my hooves in the air as I roll around on my back.
I try standing up again."I so had you going! You all thought I was-" I fall over again laughing seeing Whooves face. I start laughing so hard that I hiccup.
I'm on my back, having stopped my rolling and kicking, giggling and hiccuping to myself, when Vinyl walks over to me, and just stares at me. "You're wierd, man" she says that with a serious face then brakes into a vicious grin "but I like where you're going. Maybe Whooves should join us next time?" She looks over at Whooves and winks.
"Uhmmm..."he says with an odd look on his face.
Vinyl continues on: "And then we'd have to let Octy in. Next thing ya know, we'd have the mane6 and Big Mac, Princess Molestia, and a genderbent version of myself"
I finally get a clue on what she's saying, although not all of it makes sence, and I facehoof.
"Vinyl! One night after a little to much wine, and that was just me telling you about one of my fantasies! You swore you'd never say anything!" Octavia says, offended. Whooves catches on, and a giant red blush appears on his face.
"I'm, just gonna go upstairs, and, uhmm, ya" he says, and makes for the stairs.
I think back on what just happened, and I think that what I did with Whooves must have spawned somewhere, because I would never do that normally, I think on for a few more seconds, before what it could mean crosses my mind. I quickly push it out of my mind, right as one part of my mind says 'If you're looking for stallion-friend, Whooves would be a wonderfull place to start. He looks nice, (deep, brown eyes are to kill for!) and you like-' I stab the rebellious thought in the meta-physical throat, and walk into the kitchen to distract my self.
Just Octavia is in there, Vinyl having went to her room, and she offers me a slice of toast, smothered in grape jelly. I take it gratefully, and realize that, ever since becoming a pony, I haven't wanted meat. Intresting, I think, then focus on eating my toast.
"Are you actually...?" Octavia asks me. She's digging in the fridge, pulls out a gallon of orange juice, and fills a cup.
"No, I've never put much thought into experiments with other stallions much" I say.
"Well, he is a great guy-"
I cut her off. "I appreciate it, but don't. I'll take the plunge if I want to. On that subject, anything between you and that lovely mare, Vinyl Scratch?"
She's shocked. "How did you know? Well, you do, and that's what's important, I guess. Yes, about a month after we met, we dated for a while. Nothing serious came, and we split with no tears shed. It's a habit of mine. Whenever I meet somepony, I always fall in love with them, although that was the first time it happened with another mare"
Does that include me? I can't tell if I want that or not. "So there's been other mares?" I ask in innocently enough.
She walks over to me, sets the cup of orange juice infront of me, and sits down next to me. "There have been a few others, nothing special. Tell me about yourself?" She asks. It definitely includes me.
Danger zone. Have to talk about earth, without actually talking about earth. I open my mouth to speak, but then a knocking comes from the door. Whatever high and mighty power in the clouds might exist, they like me. And I'm not talking about other pegasi.
"Coming!" Octavia shouts at it. She walks past me, a hoof trailing along my shoulder (oh shit she just did that. She has definitely fallen for me. Now what?!) and goes and opens the door.
"Oh, my, Princess Luna, welcome, please,
"Thank you. I'm looking for a certain Mr. Dash. I believe he's hear?" She asks politely (and surprisingly laid back for a princess).
"Oh yes, right this way" Octy (shit! Did I just call her that in my head?! (Great, now I can't controll my own thoughts)) says, sounding scared sounding.
"Peace, child, no harm shall become of him" she laughs, a clear, pleasant sound. I hear two sets of clopping hooves walking into the kitchen, and so I get ready to meet Luna
And there, framed in the doorway is Luna. "Are you Mr. Dash?" She asks me.
"Yes I am" I reply, looking her in the eyes. Her mesmerizing, teal eyes. I mentally punch myself, telling me to knock it off.
"Do you have somewhere to sit? I have a lot to tell you. And you might want your other two friends to listen to this also"
Author's Note
I have written one of my favorite chapters so far. I love the confusion that went on in his head, because it has happened to me with one of my friends before. Am I the only one who gets that? But anyways, now he's at least slightly intrested in or involved with all the charecters I've introduced so far. This will be one hell of a finale.

A sequel to My Little Dashie
We walk up the stairs in the castle, hooves clopping as we walk along. Luna explains more on what the pegasus device is.
“A few thousand years ago, Celestia was in control of the sun and rainbows. However, when I was sent to the moon, she had to take on the responsibility of the moon as well, and so she handed down the responsibility of rainbows down to the Pegasi. It was up to them to figure out how to make them. A few sick and twisted Pegasi came up with this machine, that grinds up a ponies body, turning it into pure spectra. This only works with ponies, since it is one of the few things where magic and spectra a freely fused. Celestia found out, and stopped it, and jailed the ones that came up with it for life. she instead handed the responsibility to a group of extremely talented unicorns, having them use their magic to produce it. It’s possible to set the machine to extract magic, instead of spectra. It seems that she has come to the conclusion that using a pegasus device is the only way to solve this problem. I disagree. I think it’s possible to fix this without killing her”
We walk along for a few seconds, both absorbed in our own thoughts. I can’t wait to see my daughter again, but it seems like I might never get the chance to, if we can’t get there fast enough.
I think about how to word my response. “I would, but I’m afraid of heights and flying”
Vinyl over hears me say that. “No way. That has got to be the strangest thing. A pegasus afraid of heights and flying? can I ask why?”
I sigh, “Because my parents died in an unfortunate plane crash” They all stare at me confused except Doctor Whooves. He gives me a sympathetic look. And I realize I’m an idiot. What would ponies know about planes? Whooves helps me out.
“Planes are these large flying machines that carry humans around long distances. Occasionally, something goes wrong, and they fall, killing whoever is inside of them”. The rest of them think for a moment, before comprehending. As soon as they realize, they all murmur something along the lines of sorry.
Octavia walks up to me and says: “I’m sorry. I didn’t know”
“Obviously you didn’t. And anyways, I don't even know if I can fly”
Luna breaks into the conversation with an incredulous look: “You don’t know how to fly?”
“Nope. Remember, I forty-eight hours ago, I was human”
“Oh yeah”
We reach the top of the stairs, and I know we have arrived. We are confronted by a group of four royal guards, blocking entrance to a room.
“Halt!” the largest one says, obviously the commander. “Princess Celestia has forbidden anyone from entering”
Luna walks forward a few steps. “Even me?”
He lets up. “I’m sorry, Princess, I didn’t see you. Please, go right in”
“And my friends?”
“If they’re with you, they can go in too I suppose”
The four of them step aside, letting us enter through the doors. As we walk in, I hear the following conversation between the Commander and one of the soldiers under his command.
“But, Sir, the Princess said absolutely no-one was to be allowed in!”
“Were you going to argue with her?”
“Well, no, I wouldn’t want to get sent to the moon...”
“Exactly why I didn’t do anything. I like Equestria better than I like the moon. I also like the air that I breathe here. Ergo, I’m not going to argue”
“Good point, sir”
I smile to myself as I hear this, And then I walk into the room. First I see this massive machine sitting in the middle of the floor, next I see Celestia with a downcast expression on her face. Then, I see her. My Little Dashie, drugged, and laying passed out on a table next to the machine.
Celestia hears the sound of our hooves on the floor, and looks up at us. She has the saddest look possible on her face. “So you’ve come. I am so, so sorry I have to do this, but there’s no other way”.

In other news, I'm writing a romance fic (NOT A CLOPFIC) between Vinyl Srcatch and a rival DJ named Renegade Bass (I shall also be using that name as my sign-off name). Tell me any ideas, or anything you'd like in it.

A sequel to My Little Dashie
She’s shaking as she says this. “Guards!” She shouts to the door. The four guards come in, heads down. “I thought I told you to keep everyone, absolutely everyone out. That includes my sister as well” She looks down at the four of them.
One of them loses his nerves, and tries bolting for the door. Celestia uses her magic, picks up the running pony, and shuts the door. She levitates him towards her, looking him in the eye. “Not very stallion-like of you, running at the slightest hint of injury. How did you ever get to be on my individual team of protectants?” She asks him.
The commander speaks up. “You told me once that you can adequately protect yourself, and that the reason we were hired was because you find us amusing...” He cuts off after he catches the glare from us. “Please don’t hurt” He cowers in the corner. Celestia picks him up also, and levitates them towards the top of the machine, turning it on, and puts them right next to the opening.
“I need to make-”She breaks off, she seems to be trying to hold back a giggle. I think she’s gone insane. She snorts, then seems to get better control of herself. “To make sure it still works. Which one of you volunteer?”
This makes both of the floating ponies start trying to push the other one in front of themselves. she puts them down. “But I’d rather not waste two amusing ponies like yourselves. Instead-” This time she actually bursts out in laughter. It isn’t an insane laugh, its the type of laugh like she's hiding something. “Sorry. Instead, I’ll just get on with the one pegasus I meant to do this to” With this, and a wide grin, she picks up Rainbow Dash in here magic, lifting her up to the top of the machine. Dash is smiling. No, not smiling, it seems like she’s awake and trying to hide a laugh.
I’m fed up. They’re up to something, so I flare my wings, jump, and grab onto Dash. Celestia wasn’t expecting my weight, so here magic falters, and I bring Dash down to the ground. I set her down, and face Celestia.
“What’s going on?!” I shout at her angrily.
All the ponies behind me gasp, and so I turn around, and I’m greeted with the sight of Dash standing up, actually smiling.
“Chill, dad” Its been so long since I’ve heard my daughters voice. “Me and Celestia decided to pull a prank on you when we heard you were here. I was never actually in danger” I’m calmed, and Celestia breaks out into laughter.
“That was perfect! All five of you were completely convinced I was going to murder one of my innocent subjects! Holy shit that was awesome!” She lets out the laugh she’s been holding in this whole time.
“So, she doesn't have some all powerful magic trapped in here body?” I ask.
“Nope! Some slight personality disorders, and mild depression that comes and goes, but thats it” Dash replies. I breath out the breath I didn’t realize I was holding in.
“You can’t do that to me! I nearly had a heart attack!” I scold here.
“Sorry, dad, its just that Celestia came up with this awesome idea...”
The commander guard pegasus speaks up. “So, all this was fake? I was never in actual danger?” I look at the stallion. He’s a large red stallion, slightly smaller than me, his mark is a shield with two swords crossed over it. He has a forward spiked mane, which is red , with the tips died white.
“What’s your name, commander?” Celestia asks him.
“Cold Runner, ma’am” he replies.
“Well, then. Cold Runner, no, you were never in danger. It was all a joke me and Dash here came up with. Did you like it?”
“Like it?! No, it scared the shit outta me! I almost wanna quit”
“Well then you have my sincere apologies. I would like you to stay on the force because you are rather amusing”
“... Alright...” he drags the word out. “Can you at least promise me you won't scare me like that again?”
She gives him a smile. “I can promise that I won’t ever involve you again”
He looks slightly relieved. The he catches the full meaning of what she just said. He narrows his eyes, but says nothing. He walks up to me. “Crazy ponies, eh?” then walks out of the doors. Over his shoulder, He shouts “Come on you three, first round on me. But you three have to each buy me a drink in return” The three of them get up and run after him, down the stairs.
Vinyl looks around, mutters under her breath ‘no need for my bass cannon’ and bucks it down the staircase. We can all hear it has it’s wheels hit each step. Its actually causing quite a commotion, and everypony in the room stares at here. “Can I help you all?” She asks us, pretending that she can’t hear anything.
“Not at all, Vinyl” Dash replies.
We stand around, waiting for something to happen. We’ve reached the climax, saved my daughter from a threat that’s non-existent, but now what? Do we just go home, and pretend nothing happened, or what?
Luna is the first one to speak up. “Sister, I believe you owe them an apology, and so do you, Dash” She says, looking first at Celestia, then focusing her stern gaze on my daughter.
Feeling protective, I get in between Luna and her, saying: “They did nothing wrong, just a joke”
She brings her gaze to focus on me, and I can feel the full power of her stare and dislike, focused on me. Most ponies would cower underneath that glare, but I just stand tall, and look here back right in the eyes. Everpony else can feel the tension building until Vinyl, being the bravest out of the other three, gets in between us, pushing us apart.
Luna looks offended. “How dare you command me, child!”
Vinyl must have a death wish, for she replies “Or what? You’ll banish me to the moon?” The other three take their place at her side.
Luna relents, and she seems to shrink down. “I’m sorry. I was upset for no reason at you sister, and I took it out on them”
“No problem” I say, walking up to here, and gently punching her in the shoulder “we all lose control sometimes. Admitting that how you reacted was wrong is the important part”
Celestia speaks up “Alright, I’m sorry for the joke, if it offended anyone, and I’ll give you each a thousand bits to make up for it. Also, I shall make sure Dash gets the best psychiatric help possible. Deal?”
“Alright!” Vinyl says “As long as we can go home. I’m hungry! I haven't eaten lunch yet” My stomach is rumbling too. so is everyone elses, probably.
“No worries. You all shall eat with me. Come on, I’m sure we can eat now.” Celestia says.

I have the next chapter done. I shall only be doing one ending, for the one I have seems to be the only way to end it.

A sequel to My Little Dashie
Journal entry #1
Vinyl coerced me into getting a journal and writing in it. It has been two weeks now since we got Dashie back. Octavia gave up her room for her and sleeps on the couch in the living room now. In a month now she’ll be going back to her house. I’ll probably be going with, until I can get my own house. Once every week she goes into counseling, and she has shown huge progress. Here depression is all but gone, and she’s learning to deal with her personality disorders.
She has taken to Cold Runner, the Commander of Celestia’s personal defense force. On weekend they can often be seen screwing around together. On that subject, Me and vinyl went out on our first date together, to some club in Ponyville. Whooves and Octavia are dating too, going to classical concerts and such. Luna drops in some times. I think she’s getting lonely, with her only friends in relationships, but no one for here. I have to talk to her about it some time.
Journal Entry # 6
I’ve talked to Luna, and she’s been feeling down. I’ve invited her to stay with me and Dash in Dash’es big sky mansion. She looked delighted at the idea.
In other news, It’s gotten slightly hard between me and Vinyl, since I don't live with her anymore. I need to get a house, and soon.

Well, me and vinyl have saved up enough to get a house in manehatten, and we have just finished moving in. Dash and Cold Runner are officially dating now, they’re first one was going to see a movie with him. Her and Luna have also become great friends. She has rebefriended the other five of the mane six, but not as well as they would like. It appears that here main friend shall always be Luna.

Me and Vinyl just got back from a dj job, and it was awesome! We stayed there until about 5 A.M., and its about 7 right now! Vinyl got tired, so she went to sleep. I, on the other hand, was smart, and drank a lot of energy drinks and vodka, so I decided to write in here while I have the energy!

I woke up with the biggest headache, and sore all over from last night. I should've followed Vinyl’s lead and slept, but no. Being the idiot I am, I stayed up, and now I’m paying for it. *sighs*. Remind me to never do that again. To never be an idiot again. I would write more, but this headache is keeping me from thinking. I’m going to take a nap...

Well, I knew this day would come. Cold Runner came over this afternoon, looking nervous and all. We talked before he broached the subject that he had obviously came here to talk about. Marriage. He wants to marry my little Dashie. It’s hard to let your children go and grow up, but the day has come, and I must release her from my care. Vinyl walked in as he was saying this, and told me, ‘Maybe he’s not the only one who should pop the question?’

The foal is growing up nice. He is 9 years old, a dark blue coat, with a shockingly bright green mane and tail. He’s a pegasus, but he inherited his mother’s love of music, especially dubstep, although he prefers glitch hop. His name is Renegade Bass

Been awhile since I’ve written in her. Its been 11 years since entry #41, and Renegade has become great friends with Dash’s child, Harmonic Synth. You should hear them play together. Throw Vinyl in with them, and they’re unstoppable.

Well, Whooves funeral was today. Grew old, and then one day Octavia woke up, to find him dead. Died peacefully in his sleep. The remaining three of us are growing old ourselves. I can feel it in my bones. Luna is as young as ever. Sometimes I feel jealous of her, sometimes I feel bad for her, that she’ll never age, and experience everything that comes with it. I’m also a great-grandfather now, along with Renegade Bass having his own son. I can’t seem to remember their names, though...

She’s dead. Octavia, Dead. She was out getting a few groceries for lunch, and she just collapsed while walking back... My eyes are burning, wanting these tears to be released. There dripping down my nose now. I’m sorry to whoever might read this, If certain parts are obscured, I’m really crying now... I’ll explain why when I stop...
I was crying because with Octavia gone, and with Dash moved to some country in sports events, I’m all alone. I’ll soon forget everything important. I’ll die, not remembering anything. I don’t want to die like that. I want to at least remember the love of my life, my wife...

I’m on my deathbed now. Princess Celestia came, and we talked. She told me, that while she can not make me young, or bring anyone back from the dead, for the last few weeks of my life, she can restore all my memories, so I can remember everyone that was ever important to me. I told her that I don’t want to be young again, if everyone I loved had died, but that I would take back my memories.
I can finally remember my wife. My Vinyl Scratch.

“Daddy, what was your name on earth?” She asks me
“Jason Faust, I am the only son of Lauren Faust. That’s why I love you so” I reply. She doesn’t understand, but I didn’t expect her to.
She kissed me on the forehead, and whispered “Good bye, Daddy, I love you”
I can see that light now, and everyone that has gone before me, waiting for me on the other side. I can’t go yet, though, I need to say something still.
Goodbye, Rainbow dash. I love you too. May you be happy.
Author's Note
Some of you may think that this story is important to me, And one of you has actually pmed me, saying a few things, including that. And you'd be right. About Nine years ago, My great grandfather died. Me and him where very close. I got the call while I was at my moms house, that if I wanted to see my Grandpa one last time, this was my last chance. At his funeral, I cried. And Since that funeral, I have not cried, or shown just about any emotion since. When I first watched MLP:FIM, the cracks around my iron bound heart began to show. I then read the original story of My Little Dashie, and I cried for the first time in nine years. From the ages of 5 to 14, I had not shed a single tear, nor felt any emotion except for anger, but the story changed that. I felt compelled to gain closure on it, so I wrote this. For those of you who have stuck with me until I finished, Thank You. For those of you who disliked it, I shall except the fact that you don't like it. I wrote this for myself, not for anyone else. I posted it because if I help one other person that was living like I was, emotionless, then I will have succeeded in my life. I hope you have enjoyed my story.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Dash, but it has to be this way" she stops and thinks for a few moments. "However, there is no reason why you can't"- A tear slides down her cheek -"Say"- another one follows it- "good bye. I'm so sorry. For what has to be done" a third tear appears.
"It doesn't have to be this way. We can find a way. What about the magic of friendship? The elements of harmony? Something?" I ask, desperate for a way to save my daughter.
Luna speaks up "Sister, I think he may have a point"
"No. There is no other way. You see, when she went to your world, how you raised her subtly changed her personality. She can no longer wield her respective element of harmony. And she's no longer true friends with the other five. She has no other true friends. The only one she trusts is you, Mr. Dash. Except for maybe... No" she has to stop talking to regain her composure. "I can wake her up so you can say good bye. That's the most I can do" she turns to look at my daughter. She shoots a magic beam at her, and she wakes up.
The first word out of her mouth is "Daddy?"
"I'm right here. Come here" she walks over to me.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" A hint of panic creeps into her voice. "Dad, I'm scared"
"So am I dashie, so am I"
Vinyl walks up to me, puts a hoof on my shoulder, and says "I'll tell her"
I cover her hoof with mine "No, she's my daughter. We'll do it together"
Vinyl removes her hoof from my shoulder, and encloses one of Dash's in two of her own. "I'm Vinyl. I'm a friend of your dads"
"I already know why she's trying to..." She hesitates to find a way to say it. In the end, she decides to be blunt about it. "Kill me. It's okay. I'm ready"
All the words I have prepared fall to the ground. I stammer before I manage to say four words. "I love you, dash" I think before I add on to it. "Whatever happens, remember that I love you" my voice cracks. The tears I've been holding in slip out no matter how hard I clench my eyes shut."
Rainbow Dash grips me in the tightest hug I can remember her giving me. "I'm scared dad"
I hug her back. "So am I. But I know you'll make the right choice. Not just the choice that is right for you, but the choice that is right for everyone"
Whooves looks up at her. "I'm sorry I never got the chance to meet you. My name is Doctor Whooves. Just remember that through this, you'll get a type of immortality I could only dream of. You shall always be remembered as the mare that gave her life so all of equestria could live"
Dashie lets go of me as she thinks on what he said. The thought seems to have given her strength. "Thank you, Whooves. I'll remember that"
Octavia walks up from behind me, and whispers her name to Dash. "I'm so sorry we had to meet like this. I'm Octavia" and with that, she gives Dash a hug, holds it for a few moments then sits back down.
Celestia speaks up. "Are you ready, Rainbow Dash?"
"As much as I'll ever be" my daughter looks back at me. "Stay strong, daddy"
"I'll make a statue of you in ponyville to remember what you gave so the rest of us could live" Celestia says.
"Just make sure it's about 20% cooler then all the others, alright?"
"Okay, I'm going to put you to sleep now"
"Wait, I want to hug dad one last time. Put me under then" She walks over to me, and collapses into my embrace. I can feel her light frame shake as she cries. "I'll see you again in the next life" she chokes out.
I nod at Celestia. She shoots another magic beam at her, and I feel my daughter collapse as she falls asleep.
Everyone goes to leave except me. "I have to watch. She's my daughter, and I have to watch her go"
Octavia speaks up "Are you sure?"
Luna protects my choice. "He has every right to stay. It's his daughter
I hear three sets of hooves walk out of the room.
Vinyl walks up next to me. Without thinking, we embrace, me looking on to what's about to happen, while she looks to the door, giving me support.
I close my eyes, and try to block out the noises of my one and only child's body being ground into mush. I open my eyes, to see the last few bloody peices getting ground up. I shall carry that sight to me grave.

After this, there is one more, short, follow up chapter, then it's over.
I would say enjoy, but it doesn't seem right to say it for this.
On a less personal note, writing and uploading this chapter reminded me why I hate doing this from my iPod.
A sequel to My Little Dashie
(before there is more (Pain) no more)
Vinyl Scratch, me, Octavia, and Doctor Whooves are all sitting together cramped on a single coach, and so I am pleasantly yet painfully aware of both Vinyl's and Octy's shoulders rubbing against mine. I might be imagining it, but it almost seems like Octavia is trying to get as close as possible to me.
Before Luna started talking, I had to explain to Octy how I came from earth, and I wasn't truly a pony. Other then some questions at first, she seemed to accept the fact. And so now, here we are, crammed into a coach while Luna explains what is happening with her, my little Dashie. I feel guilty, but aperantly Luna has the ability to speak directly into a persons mind, for I hear her thought: 'do not be guilty. There's no way this is you fault. It's ok that you got distracted for one night.'
"Okay everypony. Now that we're all on the same page, lets get started. Rainbow Dash, when she teleported back here, she accidentally stole an amount of magic from all the magic wielding ponies, storing it in herself" good pony gods, I am starting to love that voice. I think for a moment, then tell myself. Four ponies? Four ponies I'm intrested in all at once? Wow.
She continues talking "That magic gives her power over time and space. However, that magic is stored in her with no horn to release and control it, so it has slowly consumed her, giving her no control over it. The magic has started to become its own individual, giving rainbow dash split personalities and bipolar, along with massive depression and mental instabilities.
Celestia, in order to save all of equestria, is going to murder her using a Pegasus device. These devices were made millennia ago, for extracting spectra from a ponies body. They were used in a factory that was responsible for rainbows.She has retrofitted the device, so instead of harvesting spectra, it instead will harvest magic.
I believe using magic and therapy, we can get Rainbow Dash to atleast gain control over her magic, instead of ripping the space time fabric apart" at this, Whooves ears perk up "however, Celestia is holding Dash in a cell. She gets harvested tomarrow at noon. We have to get to her cell. I can bullshit most of the way there, but at the end there will be bloodshed. We will fight, and I may have..." At this her voice cracks " I may have to fight my... Fight my sister. Again." She breaks down. "I can't have that. If I fight her, I'll have to draw on my anger for power, and I hate that feeling, yet it's intoxicating. If she is there, I will fight everyone but her" she manages to choke out this last part, before collapsing.
I jump up, and catch her before she falls to far. I catch her and hold hernsteady. She twists around in my grip, and hugs me. She's shorter then me, so she burrows her head inbetween my shoulder and my chest. I can feel her individual tears fall onto my coat, then slide down it. She stands there almost for a full ten seconds before she breaks away, and collapses into the other sofa, head in her hooves. I gingerly sit next to her, and put an arm around her while she cries. She leans against me and sobs harder. We sit like this for about five minutes, the other three looking at me wierd.
She's recovered enough so she can talk again, albeit while hiccuping and the occasional sob. "Long story short, we have to get your little dashie out before she is killed." Luna says sadly "before any more pain is done"
"I'll get my bass cannon" Vinyl says. I manage a weak smile.
As the five of us walk out the front door, Octavia comes up behind me, nudges me, and whispers in my ear " First Vinyl, then me, then Whooves, and now Princess Luna, co-ruled of Equestria. You have some nerve.
Author's Note
Is what Mr. Dash and gang doing right? Reuniting family, even if it kills everyone? Or is why Celestia doing right, killing an innecont young mare, because it might kill everyone? Its all in you point if view.
And what about this hopeless romantic mess M. Dash is in?

I pick the newspaper up off the table.
SUICIDE IN THE CANTERLOT
The body of Celestia was found today in her royal chambers. It appears that she killed herself due to guilt. More inside.
I flip the pages.
Today, in the early morning, Princess Luna found the dead body of Princess Celestia laying in her bed, seemingly having committed suicide. When officials searched the scene, only one in ordinary object was found. The king from a deck of playing cards.
We managed to speak to Luna about all this, and below I have sumerized all she said.
"Have you all seen this!?" I shout to the house in large.
Vinyl Scratch walks into the room. "Yes, we all have. It's a new world. A world without Celestia. Luna save us all"
Whooves walks into the room. "I think we should move. It's not safe here. Lets go to Manehatten. And while we're there, I might be able to bring you home, Jason" he says. It's wierd to hear them call me Jason, instead of some pony name, even though I told them yesterday.
Octavia walks in. "You two leave then. Me and Vinyl grew up here" Vinyl nods in agreement.
"I'm going with Whooves. If there's a chance I can go home, even just visit, I want to take that chance. We can still keep in touch, right?" I say, disappointed the gang is breaking up. At least I'll have Whooves.
"I dunno" Vinyl says.
