Reaching for the Sky

On earth, transhumanism has kicked off. Bionic limbs and exoskeleton suits are the fruit of one man's research. When he suddenly finds himself in Equestria, he realises all too soon that their world holds many horrors and not all creatures are as idyllic and innocent as the ponies who thrive under the diarchy, sheltered by Celestia and Luna. With no means of returning, he settles in Ponyville, his integration smoothed by his unique and ironically named 'Pegasus Frame,' an exosuit with extended leg frames and even the optional wings and a balance tail.

Armed with the means to stand on equal footing with even magical beasts, and with a calm heart that ultimately desires peace, he tells a tale of shame and glory, joy and tragedy, of the awe-inspiring powers taken for granted by a land saturated with magic where more and more, the lone human begins to distinguish himself as a singular being without so much as a single magical bone in his body.
