"Hey,Aces,you coming?" Twilight said,entering Ace's household,

"Just a minute,Twilight!" Aces said walking out of his room.

"Hurry up.We are gonna be late,"

Twilight and her friends were going to see Rainbow Dash race Nocturne at the Ponyville stadium.

Aces wanted to race as well,but he was racing Spitfire.He had heard of her before,bit he didn't worry to much.

"Alright Twilight,let's go."

Aces had flown before but not competitively.

The two got here right on time,and so he went up to the starting point and saw Rainbow Dash and Nocturne.Aces had placed bets on Rainbow Dash,mainly because of The Sonic-RainBoom.Many of the other stallions were betting as well.

He had heard that some ponies placed bets on him as well as his opponent,Spitfire.

"On your mark,get set.GO!" the announcer said.

Rainbow Dash was in the lead,but then Nocturne was,then Rainbow Dash,then Nocturne.

"WOO-HOO!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she passed the finish line,

"Dammit,I lost to a girl." Nocturne said kicking at the cloud they were all standing on.

It was was Ace's turn.

"Ok,Aces you can do this,you can beat Spitfire." Aces said to himself calmly

"Heh, Heh you ready rookie?" Spitfire said nudging the pegasus,

"Ha ha very funny," Aces said sarcastically

Aces and her went up to the starting line,

"Get ready.Get set.GO!" the announcer said once more.

Him and Spitfire to off in a trail of colors,

"Come on,you can do it Aces,dude,"

A pony named Vinyl Scratched showed up at the scene to observe the race...when she saw him.

She then noticed a DJ table.

"Dubstep, perfect!" she said jumping on the podium that the DJ table stood upon.

Aces loved that kind of music,so she thought...

Aces noticed the music.

"Is that,Dubstep?" he said looking down at the ground,not paying attention to where he was going and hit a checkpoint pole.He started to fall.

Vinyl noticed him free-falling.

"No come on Aces get up,"

Then the unthinkable happened. He flew up so fast,that you could only see a flash of black and brown.

"Woo-HOO! YEAH!" he yelled as he passed Spitfire

"Hey what tha?" Spitfire said shocked

Aces won the race,feeling very confident about himself he went down to all the earth ponies,and the unicorns and found Vinyl and hugged her.

"Thanks for the motivation,Scratch."

he said smiling at the mare,

"No problem man," she said,happily.

Part 2

Vinyl had a crush Ace for some time now.She didn't want to tell him though because she thought he didn't feel the same way.

Ace went to a party Pinkie Pie set up,which are always excellent.

Pinkie invited Vinyl to DJ for her.

A couple hours later,Pinkie yells at Vinyl,

"Hey Vinyl,want you to meet somepony.Come here," she said gesturing Vinyl over.

"What is it Pinkie Pie?"

"I want you to meet Aces." Pinkie said as she dragged a brown stallion of the dancefloor,

"Oh hey Aces,"

"Hey Vinyl,"

(Pinkie left to let the two to talk)

"I really like your taste in music,":Ace said looking at the stage.

"Oh thanks,I really like your taste in music as well."Vinyl said,blushing slightly

"If you want I can show you how to DJ?"

"Sure maybe later I can show you my skills," Aces winked at the mare,

Vinyl and Aces went into a private room.Vinyl had music equipment set up near the couch.The two sat down.

"So what would you like to learn abou-" Vinyl was interrupted by Aces kissing her.

"I want to learn how to love you." Aces said as he kissed the shocked mare again,

"Oh my,I didn't know you liked me that much," Vinyl said as she kissed him.

"Of course who wouldn't,"

Vinyl then blushed again,

"Thank you,but I think we should do this at my house," Vinyl said seductively, as she headed for the door.

"I like the way you think," Aces said as he followed her out.
