Luna's Birthday Surprise
Pinkie Pie's Time To Shine
Previous ChapterNext ChapterPrincess Luna walked over Octavia and snatched the cello from her hooves.
"That's not how you play a cello! Play with Vinyl, classical and modern mixed together! I'll sound much better!" She said with a big smile on her face.
Rainbow Dash's face lit up too, as the Wonderbolts flew up over everyone, holding a banner which was rainbow, with the words, 'Happy Birthday to the Moon Princess'
She remembered that time when she was banished to the moon, and she wasn't sure if she should be offended or extremely happy at that moment, until she remembered that she was Princess Luna. Luna. She controlled the moon. Everypony relied on her to raise and bring down the moon, and she discarded her dark side. She and Celestia ruled the skies. And she liked it that way.
The food was great. Rarity slowly ate two small apple pies, while also trying to ignore Prince Blueblood who was begging her to blow on his pies so they cooled down quicker, while Applejack was chatting to Soarin and Fleetfoot about the magnificent preformance.
Rainbow Dash creepily followed Spitfire wherever she went, followed by Scootaloo, who followed Dash. Twilight Sparkle was talking to her older brother, and it looked like everypony was having a good time.
Celestia was a tad worried though. She had over-cooked her meringue, and she knew that meringue with strawberries and cream was Luna's favourite dessert, and she had just stuffed it up.
Pinkie Pie smelt burning, and she ran into the kitchen where Celestia stood, staring at her failed meringue. "C-Celestia? Princess Celestia? What happened? D-Don't look so sad! Your making me feel sad too! I wanna see you smile! Everything's going fine!"
She said speedily. Pinkie looked around for the problem and saw the meringue. "Oh... I KNOW!" She breathed in, and gathered some ingredients.
"Just add a cup of sugar, and then we add the eggs, we whisk it up and make it puff and then we tap our legs!" A large crack echoed through the whole building, and a few ponies kinda freaked out. Its sounded like a whip. "We put into the pan, and flatten it all down. Make a dip in the middle, and then we turn around!" Pinkie sang. Celestia looked puzzled. "Bake it in the oven, make it soft but crunchy, it's gonna be alright, this meringue is gonna be MUNCHY! Now we put the cream, add the strawberries too, place it on the plate, and throw the fail down the loo!" She was hurrying, and she was kinda running out of rhyming words, but Celestia was happy with final result, and she coated it with sifted icing sugar.
"Thank-you dear, you're certainly an expert cook, especially with sweets. You wouldn't mind making a batch of cupcakes, would you?"
Pinkie smiled. "Okey dokey pokey! No problem!"
She ran of into the large pantry to gather ingredients.
Celestia was happy she had so many talanted ponies guarding the Elements of Harmony. She laughed to herself. "She definitely represents the Element of Laughter!" Celestia mumbled to herself.
Author's Note
Yes, I've read Cupcakes, and honestly, I thought Cheerile's Garden was a lot creepier. To me, thats more like what I think Pinkie probably would do. She is a bit, well, you know... Different.
