//-------------------------------------------------------// Monster -by RIPTID3- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue All was fine in the town of Ponyville. The skies were clear save for one cloud in particular. And on that cloud slept one cyan blue mare known as Rainbow Dash. Her rainbow mane swept over her shoulder as she snored peacefully. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Not long after, Rainbow Dash woke up. She rubbed her magenta eyes and stretched her wings as well as letting out a yawn. An ear twitched and Rainbow Dash looked around.       "Hmm, I've practiced every move to perfection, the clouds are cleared, what to do?" Rainbow Dash said to herself. The mare looked around and set her eyes on the oak tree only known as the library. A grin spread on the face of the cyan blue mare, she leaped of her cloud and hovered over to the window. A light push sent the window swinging open. Rainbow Dash tucked her wings and crawled through the space, she dropped to the floor with a thud. The mare looked around in search of her lavender friend, Twilight Sparkle. Rainbow Dash spread her wings once more and hovered towards the staircase where Twilight's room should be, The cyan blue pony flew into the room, where a studying Twilight occupied a book, another stack of books by her side. Rainbow could see a feather moving up and down, signalling that she was writing. Rainbow Dash walked up to Twilight, Without a care in the world. The rainbow mare looked over the shoulder of the lavender unicorn, Twilight only let out a sigh and stopped writing.       "Hello Rainbow Dash." Twilight said       "'Sup Twilight?" RD replied       "I should be asking you that question, considering you're the one that barged in here."       "Just paying you a visit is all." Twilight put down the feather and sighed.       "Lemme guess, you're bored?"       "Yes." Rainbow Dash walked around while Twilight massaged her temples.       "Say, where's Spike?" Rainbow Dash asked       "I gave him the day off. He's probably in Rarity's Boutique." Twilight said Rainbow Dash continued walking around and snooping at every crack or cranny in existence. Twilight tried to continue with her work, but was interrupted every five seconds from Rainbow Dash asking: "What's this book about?", "What's the meaning of this?" and of course the occasional: "Do you have any Daring Do?". Eventually Twilight turned around and gave Rainbow Dash an irritated look.       "Rainbow, would you mind coming back later?" Twilight asked       "Nah, I think I'll just stay here." Rainbow replied as she pulled a few books off the bookshelf.       "Please?"       "I've got nothing better to do." Twilight sighed and pointed her horn at Rainbow Dash, unbeknownst to the cyan blue mare who appeared to be building a fort of some sort from the assorted books that she had pulled out of the bookshelf. Twilight's horn glowed with purple aura. She pointed it at Rainbow Dash who had gone on to look for even more books for her little project.       "I'm sorry Rainbow Dash, but I need to get to work." Twilight said Rainbow turned around just in time to get blasted by a lavender ball of light, it didn't hurt, nor did it present any sort of force upon contact. Instead it crashed into her and dissipated like a ball of water would. Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow.       "Um Twi?"       "Wait for it..." Twilight said Soon enough, a portal opened up behind Rainbow Dash and sucked her in before closing as if it had never been there. Twilight sighed and levitated her books back in place. She turned her attention back to her work.       "Alright, back to work." Unknown to the unicorn, she had botched the spell. She had botched it big time. //-------------------------------------------------------// First Blood //-------------------------------------------------------// First Blood Meanwhile... *Slice* The spluttering of intestines were heard as the knife went through the torso of the creature. It's wielder wearing a large grin as he stared at his victim, a full grown Rottweiler. it's stomach cut open from the knife slash, and a portion of it's right foreleg had been cut off. The canine had died long ago, but it's aggressor had little to no intentions of stopping.       "*Sigh* I wish these infernal creatures weren't so fragile. But even if they were, I'm starting to get bored of them." The man said. The figure was covered in a gray hoodie covered in blood, only the back of it bore any of it's original colors. The wearer of this article of clothing was none other than Dr. Francis Conway, doctor turned criminal who derives pleasure from the pain of others. His victims were all animals, never humans. The floor was sticky and covered in blood. Guts and intestines strewn were everywhere. His victim was on a metal table, the kind you would see in a clinic or a hospital to put patients. Lined up against the wall were nine fiberglass containment chambers made to contain his victims. Several of these containment chambers had corpses in them. The doors of these chambers were sliding panes of fiberglass, reinforced with another layer of fiberglass to ensure that there was no escape. The roofs of these cells was another triple layer of fiberglass with holes for air to get in. On the other side of the basement, an assortment of bodies were strewn everywhere as well as a huge number of eyes and other precious organs. A wide assortment of animals ranging from cows, dogs, cats to even rabbits. There was no animal left unharmed in this basement. A single light bulb illuminated the room and seemed to make the guts and mangled corpses glisten, The deranged doctor put down his knife. It was a large, bloodstained butcher knife, definitely capable of doing damage. The doctor stripped off his hoodie and placed it on a rack nearby. underneath the hoodie he was wearing a simple black long sleeve t-shirt and a pair of boot fit jeans. The doctor opened a door, revealing a flight of staircases which he climbed. When he reached the top of them, he looked around his home. To his left was a hallway that led to the kitchen. To his right was the living room with an assortment of chairs, recliners, a Flat screen TV and a window, in front of the TV was a coffee table with an iPad on it. The doctor had achieved this much from selling the various meat of the animals alongside their hides. Francis walked towards the living room and sat down on his recliner.       "Hmm, I've run out of toys to play with. I need something that can take large amounts of pain yet still survive. Too bad that's never happening." The doctor said with a sigh. He grabbed the TV remote and turned on his flat screen. He skipped channels looking for SOMETHING to watch. He settled on National Geographic Wild. The doctor tried to get interested in the show but his attempts were futile. He proceeded to reach for his iPad and surf the web instead to satisfy his boredom.       "Hmm, Grand Theft Auto 5 delayed? *Sigh*, better later than never I suppose." The doctor sighed as he read the latest article on the game that many were anticipating. The doctor continued to search the web, there was nothing interesting to read. The news he didn't really care for unless it was gaming, sports he had no interest in, and he couldn't care less about general news.       "I'm feeling a bit tired, should take a nap before I go out hunting tonight." The doctor said He leaned the seat backwards and shut his eyes, ready to sleep. It didn't take long for the madman to pass out. Half an hour later... The doctor woke up to the sound of a thunderclap. He sat up straight and stared out the window. the evening skies were still  orange, but a midst that orange was a single large storm cloud. Francis initially ignored it at first until he saw a small, blue figure falling from the cloud and towards his house.       "What the hell?" Francis squinted his eyes and got a better look at the object. It was cyan blue with a rainbow streak. It didn't look like it was mechanical, maybe it was an animal of some sort? It appeared to be passed out. By the time the doctor could process it all, the creature was mere yards away from his home. Francis dived to one side as the cyan blue object crashed through his window, through his TV, shattered his coffee table and proceeded to tumble down the hallway like a rag doll before coming to a stop. The doctor got up. He looked around and observed the damage. It was around $5,000 to $8,000 worth of damage. Easily repayable, but it would leave quite the impact on his bank account. Francis had no time to observe the damage, instead he walked over to the broken form of the cyan blue creature, it was a little horse, like a pony, with a rainbow mane and the logo of a cloud striking rainbow lightning on it's flank. It bore no signs of damage save for a scratch or two here and there. But other than that, no major injuries except maybe a broken wing.       "Impossible, that fall would've killed any living thing, human or animal. Even if it did survive, every single limb on it's body would be broken. Here it is with barely any damage." The doctor muttered to himself. The doctor pondered his thought, this creature seemed to be incredibly durable. And suddenly a light bulb came to life in his head. Ask and you shall receive, he had asked for a tougher toy to play with, and fate had answered his prayers.       "Looks like the doctor's got a new toy." The doctor said as an evil twisted grin formed on his face. The doctor moved his hand towards the chest of the pony. It's heartbeat showed no signs of slowing down. Not at all.       "Amazing. Simply amazing." The doctor said as a smile spread across his face. He picked the pony up in his arms and proceeded to walk back down the flight of stairs back to his basement. //-------------------------------------------------------// Break it down //-------------------------------------------------------// Break it down Rainbow Dash woke up, her head throbbing, her wings aching and her cuts and bruises stinging together with the feeling of a cold metal surface against her back. She was in a dark damp room, with a single light bulb illuminating the area. Blood ran down the walls and the air reeked of rotting flesh and blood. Rainbow Dash looked around and found various corpses littering the room. The cyan blue mare almost passed out after seeing the amount of dead animals, it was absolutely sickening for the pegasus. But she simply gulped and kept her cool. Rainbow Dash gave her right hoof a tug, it wouldn't move. She turned her head to the side to find out that she had been tied to what seemed to be a metal table, The kind you would find in a hospital where the doctors would perform surgeries or amputations. Rainbow Dash found herself immobilized, every limb on her body tied down and restrained, even her wings were spread and also bound, her left wing appeared to be broken, it would need at least a week or two before she could even move it. The only body part that wasn't bound to the table was her tail. But that wasn't going to do her any good in a fight. The determined pegasus didn't stop, if anything, her helplessness only fueled her undying will to achieve freedom. It wasn't long before SOME form of life made it's presence known.       "Took you long enough." A voice said from the shadows Rainbow Dash whipped her head around to face the voice, but she couldn't exactly determine where it was coming from. It seemed to echo throughout the room. Rainbow Dash wasn't intimidated however.       "C'mon out and show your ugly face so I can-"       "Hmm? You talk? Oh goody! This'll make torturing you oh SO much more fun." The voice said This time, the pegasus managed to get a clear location on the whereabouts of the voice. It seemed to be coming from her right, Rainbow Dash growled and only struggled.       "The only pony who's getting tortured, is you once I'm free!" Rainbow Dash snapped       "Oh we'll see. We'll see." The voice replied Eventually out stepped a figure, it looked like a diamond-dog, except it stood on it's two hind legs, forelegs absent in assisting the creature's balance, it seemed to be male judging from it's voice. It had tan colored skin, no fur, just smooth skin with the slightest bit of hair. He wore a gray article of clothing that concealed his hair, a shadow cast over his face, he even wore clothing on the lower part of his body. There were no signs of a tail anywhere, where his hooves should've been was a flat-ish shape with five stick like things emerging from it, and last but not least, his face was flat, not thelike the boxy snouts colts usually have.       "Breaking your determined little spirit is going to be the most fun I've had in a long, long time." The creature said       "You're not breaking anything of mine!" Rainbow Dash shouted in response The creature laughed which did nothing but fueled the anger within the pegasus.       "You see my dear subject, everyone has a breaking point. Well not us humans, but you... animals, you CAN be broken. It's only a matter of when, not if." The creature said       "Not if I break you first!" The cyan pony snapped       "You can't break a man the way you do a dog or a horse. The harder you beat a man, the taller he stands."       "That- that-"       "I was qouting Far Cry 2. But, I suppose that'd be like beating a dead horse wouldn't it? HA! Beating a dead horse."       "I'm gonna kick your flack so hard you diamond dog, that-"       "Please, call me Doctor."       "Whatever! It doesn't matter what you're called!" The doctor sighed and walked over to a table, on the table was an arsenal of sharp deadly blades ready to be used, there was a large object that looked like a box with a metal sheet coming out of it, on the metal sheet was a chain wrapped around it, on the chain were small barbs. On the metal was the word: "Stihl" with fine print under it. Alongside that was a large double ended hammer, Rainbow Dash had never seen any of these tools in Equestria before.       "Now, which toy should I use first?" The Doctor said       "How about you shut your yap and let me free?! Then we'll see how tough you are!" Rainbow Dash       "You never seem to shut up do you? Oh well, I suppose, actions do speak louder than words. Let's start it with a bang and go with the chainsaw!" The Doctor picked up the large blade-on-a-box and pulled a handle. It revved to life and the chain began moving at unimaginable speeds. Much faster than anything Rainbow Dash had ever seen. That plus the jagged metal spikes? Rainbow Dash didn't want to think of the outcome if that thing touched her.       "Wh-What are you doing?" Rainbow Dash asked, her anger and hatred turning into worry and fear.       "You see my dear subject... What's your name? You must have a name." The Doctor said       "Buck you." The Doctor held the chainsaw about a centimeter away from Rainbow's face, she could almost feel the barbs slicing and shredding her insides.       "Rainbow Dash! My name's Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow said The Doctor lifted the chainsaw away from Rainbow Dash.       "You see dear Rainbow Dash, fixing machinery is like fixing living things. You have to take out what;s wrong with them, and put something better in replacement." The Doctor said Before the pegasus could respond, The Doctor thrust the chainsaw right into the joint of Dash's right wing. The cyan blue mare held in her screams and simply gritted her teeth. Blood splattered across the Doctor as he sawed off Rainbow's wing, it didn't take long until the cyan blue limb was severed from the torso of the mare, the wing simply fluttered to the ground and onto the blood, The Doctor had cut just high enough so that a portion of the wings bone was poking out of Dash's back alongside some stray nerves and blood veins. The Doctor was surprised that the pony had managed to hold in her screams.       "Hmm, you're tougher than you look. But I'll break you. Both physically AND mentally." The Doctor said Rainbow Dash's breathing was heavy, dark spots danced around in her vision. But she wasn't going to beg, she wasn't going to plead for him to stop. No, she'd fight to the bitter end if she had to. The Doctor than took a long gaze at the right hoof of Rainbow Dash. A wicked grin forming on his face that grew wider the longer he stared at that hoof.       "Hmm, I have an idea." The Doctor said The Doctor thrust the chainsaw downwards and into the hoof of Rainbow Dash, This time, the mare let out just the slightest bit of a scream before stifling it as more blood squirted everywhere. The Doctor didn't mind however, instead he only continued to saw through the limb until it fell to the floor with a *clop* and splashed up blood, more blood veins and stray nerves hung from where the hoof used to be, The Doctor pinched a nerve and pulled it out. Rainbow Dash could feel teh nerve slowly being pulled out, sliding against the inside of her arm. Rainbow Dash stared at the stump of a hoof she now had. She tried to scream, but nothing came out, instead she just stared at it, eyes wide with shock, foreleg spurting out blood and mouth agape. The Doctor placed a hand on his chin as if he was studying art.       "Hmm, this seems nice. Now, to work on the left side." The Doctor said The Doctor then walked over to the other side of the table and studied the wing. it was already injured, but nonetheless he gave it a sharp tug. Pain shot through the body of the mare, it was just enough to send tears coming streaming down from her eyes.      "Alright, no more teasing then." The Doctor said with a wide grin The Doctor lowered the chainsaw once more and sawed through the wing of Rainbow Dash, The Doctor seemed to take his time on this one, slowing down drastically. The pain was still just as excruciating. Rainbow couldn't hold it anymore, she yelled in pain as the chainsaw cut through her wing, it probably lasted for thirty seconds, but to Rainbow Dash, it might as well have been 30 days. Finally, the wing was severed and fell to the floor. The Doctor wiped the blood off his face. He had a satisfied look on his face, until his expression changed into a look of sudden realization, signalling that he had another idea.       "I finally have n idea for the sledgehammer." The Doctor said He shut off the chainsaw and placed it on the table. Rainbow Dash didn't want to think of what could possibly be even worse than having her wings cut off. She couldn't take it, tears continued to stream down onto the table and to the floor, her joints were still leaking blood. Nothing could be as bad as that can it? The Doctor held the hammer high. He placed the head of the hammer just under his chin and gave a sinister smile.       "Finally, I've been wanting to do this for a LONG, LONG time Rainbow my dear." The Doctor said Rainbow Dash gulped but she kept quite. She didn't want things to get any worse than they already are. The Doctor walked over to the head of Rainbow Dash and raised the hammer high. Rainbow Dash knew EXACTLY what was going to happen, and she didn't like it. She needed to stop this, one way or another.       "No! Please! Stop! I give! I give!" Rainbow Dash yelled The Doctor raised an eyebrow and a smirk seemed to materialize on his face.       "Oh really?" The Doctor said       "Yes! Just stop, please, stop." Rainbow Dash said as more tears continued to stream down her cheeks The Doctor placed a hand to his chin and thought for a while.       "Nah, I'll just go with my original plan." The Doctor replied Before Rainbow could plead some more, down came the weapon, it struck Rainbow's skull so hard that the mare heard a crack go off, presumably from her skull being fractured. Her head was busted open as blood spilled out of her forehead. But the doctor didn't stop, he swung once more and it was enough to mess her head up, it was now almost in half, her mouth was mangled and crushed. Finally The Doctor put down his weapon and grinned.       "Well, well, looks like we're done for today. You're gonna love what i have in store for you next time." The Doctor said with a twisted smile on his face He released Rainbow's bounds, but by now, the pegasus was too weak to move, her body was hurt and so was her pride, The Doctor walked over to one of the glass cells and pulled a remote from his pocket. He pressed a button and the door slid open. He walked back, scooped Rainbow Dash up in his arms and basically flung her into the cell. Rainbow Dash tumbled into the containment chamber as The Doctor left. When The Doctor left, Rainbow Dash put her hoof on her shoulder, and sobbed.
