Princess Cadence, married to Shining Armor, foalsitter of Twilight Sparkle Pony turned Princess, niece of both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Living like any princess should be, learning about love and her way to finding her own love until that unfortunate day, her wedding day.

What if Princess Cadence, even after being saved by Twilight from the caverns of Canterlot, had a slow acting but death inducing disease from her stay in the caverns?

Now days after Twilight's coronation to Princess, she would do her best to keep alive, but her love for her husband is too great to be left alone and knowing Shining, he will surely panic and lose his bearings as the prince of the Crystal Empire if she has gone. Thankfully, Cadence has a plan, one that both keeps her hopes alive and enrages her to the core, but a plan nonetheless.
