Citizens of Equestria

Rainbow Dash, Twilight and I rushed to the train station, the other four already waiting. We have been called by princess Celestia and Luna to an important meeting. A pelican flew passed us and landed about fifty feet from the station, the engines roaring in anger.

I have gathered you all here in Canterlot for an important announcement.

Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack stood at the station. We caught up to them out of breath from the long sprint. "Alright..... eve-everyone on the pelican. We ne-need to get to Canterlot, fast!" Every did as I told them and rushed towards the large metal bird.

What I am about to tell you will change everypony's life. It's imperative that you all cooperate.

The pelican hatch hissed closed, muffling the roar of the engines as the pelican took off. Everyone got strapped into the seats, and it didn't look very comfortable for the ponies. I sat next to Twilight and she seemed to be in a better mood than yesterday, and Dash has opened up to me in a whole new way she wouldn't even show her friends. I learned she's a bit of a softie sometimes.

Due to recent events, the UNSC will now be a permanent unit in the Royal Guard. As such, the UNSC has been giving full militia control.

"Twilight, darling, I hear you're going out with someone." Rarity stated soon after we took off.

Twilight's cheeks turn a slight Crimson. "Y-yeah, I am."

"Well go on sugarcube, who is it?" The orange mare inquired.

"Oh! Let me guess, let me guess!"

"Pinki-"

"Thunderlane?"

"No."

"Doctor Whooves?"

"No." Twilight groaned.

"Bra-"

"Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie stopped and everyone looked at Twilight. "He's not a pony."

"Oh, exotic! Is he a griffon?" Rarity inquired, pushing for more information.

Twilight let out a sigh and facehoofed. "No, it's Taylor."

To add, all able ponies are required to begin military training in two days. Failure to comply will result in consequences.

Everyone one in the pelican looked at me, luckily I had time to get my armor on and they couldn't seem me blushing through the visor.

"You're kiddin' us right?" Twilight shook her head and AJ just stared at me. "I heard what y'all did to Rainbow."

"That," I began, "was almost a week ago. We're past that and she knows it was her fault."

"You was going to break her wings!"

"Will you two stop? I don't need you two at each others throats!" Twilight interjected.

"Yeah, plus we're already cool."

"No Rainbow, we're not cool!" Twilight growled from her seat. Rainbow's ears laid flat against her head knowing what she did. "We'll talk about it later."

Rainbow exchanged worried glances to the rest of the group, avoiding my gaze. The rest of the trip is quiet, no one wanting to say something to make another go off. In what seemed like forever the pelican touched down in the courtyard of Canterlot Castle and the rear hatch opened.

Harsh light from the sun poured into the cabin but my visor adjusted. I undid my straps and helped Twilight with hers. By the time I got to the others they had already undone their straps and are walking outside. Twilight and I followed the rest out and are greeted by both Celestia and Luna, who's manes flowed through the air like water in a stream.

A smile flashed across Celestia's muzzle as she began speaking. "Thank you everypony for being here so early, I hope you all got a good rest. And I see you brought Taylor along."

I looked down at Twilight who isn't even giving a hint of a smile but instead, glared at Celestia with the 'deal with it' type of look. Celestia let out a sigh before looking up at the sky. "Your commanders should be here soon."

I followed her gaze and floating high above are all ten UNSC ships. Four frigates and six cruisers, hanging in the air like balloons made of steel. They almost blend in with the large gray mountains in the background and they would have if it weren't for the slightly darker grey paint.

After a moment lost in the view I turned to see both princesses and Twilight's horns glowing slightly, with Celestia and Twilight exchanging angry glares.

He's a danger to you! Celestia thought but sent the thought to both Twilight and her sister. Twilight rolled her eyes at the comment but didn't reply. He is driving a wedge between us. What happened to the ol-

No he isn't! You are. Why can't you just accept the fact like everypony else? Twilight can tell Celestia is trying to think of a comeback but it didn't seem like she has one. Just accept it. Yeah he acted irrationally against Rainbow Dash but that was partially her fault.

He still had no rig-

He had every right to do what he did! I'm not saying it was the right thing to do but he still had that choice. Twilight shot back and took a step closer to Taylor.

Luna sat in the background listening and evaluating who is right in this argument. She glanced at Taylor and couldn't see his expression behind the reflective visor and quickly looked elsewhere so she didn't make an awkward moment. Overall she could care leas if Twilight is dating a human, it is her choice after all. But Luna couldn't help but agree with Tai on the fact that he may pose a threat to her, even if he doesn't do anything intentionally.

Twilight, I'm afraid I must agree with Tai.

What!?

You know I could care less about your courting an human, but she is right about he being an endangerment to your health. Not only that but your friends too.

Twilight looked hurt. Luna had supported Twilight on this subject and now she's siding with Celestia. She didn't say anything trying to think of the different possibilities that could happen.So that's it? You're just going to split us apart?

I'm afraid so. Celestia replied with a concern expression.

Twilight's expression turned into angry scowl, rage burning in her eyes. She turned and stormed off in a different direction. "Twilight?" Twilight stopped at the sound of her name and turned to face Taylor. He jogged up to her but stopped just a few feet short. "Twilight, where are going?" He asked, his voice dripping with worry.

Twilight back to the direction she was going and continued to walk. "I'm going for a walk." With that her horn glowed and disappeared with a small pop.

Taylor let out a defeated sigh and turned back to the others. He slowly made his way back as another pelican landed not far off and the UNSC commanders came out in their uniforms, each decorated with different metals and ribbons. Taylor lagged behind as the group began to file into the castle with Luna leading the way. Celestia slowed her pace to match Taylor's.

"I assume you can figure out what I have decided to do."

Taylor looked at the sun goddess through his visor and the realization hit him. "Fuck you, princess." He replied bluntly before facing forward again.

Celestia mentally flinched at the reply. Taylor has been a mostly respectful to her, more so to Luna than her, but hearing him say that made her feel bad. With a sigh, Celestia trotted faster leaving Taylor to himself. There are more important things that needed to be discus that a few of the commanders wanted addressed.

As Celestia trotted past the small group of five and the commanders, she received a few curious glances. Apparently Taylor had told her off loud enough for everyone to hear. She is slowly losing the side of the humans and she couldn't have that knowing firsthoof with what they could do. All they have to do is hold up one of those grey weapons at her head and she's done for.

Celestia hadn't realized she had made it to the court room which is completely deserted except for the human commanders, the elements of harmony, and Taylor and Twilight out somewhere in Canterlot. Celestia quickly took her seat next to Luna who had already sat herself in her throne. She gave the others a minute to settle in before speaking.

"So, if I may ask as to why you all decided to call this meeting?" Celestia stated with emotion drained from her usually regal tone.

A tall man dressed in a grey uniform, covered with metals and ribbons. His face wrinkled and dry from old age, and he has deep green eyes that peered at Celestia for a moment. "The UNSC is requesting full control of the Equestrian Military."

What the fuck did Rainbow do? I have an answer: I have a hidden chapter that I wont post UNTIL the story is complete. I will be doing a few of these so (if there is a part that seems to have story behind it but you don't know what. Assume there will be a hidden chapter), onto the next chapter!
