The Hooviet Union has agreed to open it's borders to international researchers to learn about it's forgotten past, thus the royal equestrian archaeological society has sent a group to study the pony populace of Ukrein and their past as well as looking for sites, this could be dangerous however as many warlike, nomadic tribes exist in these windy steppes. Khaki Slack, an aspiring archaeologist is sent with this group but is plagued with unusual dreams and uncontrolled sleep that seem to have effect on the world around him.
