The Canterlot Expedition

(This thing is nowhere near done.  It probably won't be for a few weeks.)

Snowflakes drifted lazily through the air on the outskirts of the Equestrian border.  In every direction was white, white, white.  Snowdrifts as far as the eye could see.  The low howl of the biting wind mingled with the sound of idling engines.
