Legend has it that there is a haunted orphanage hidden deep within the Everfree Forest. Long forgotten about, the orphanage was once inhabited by lively fillies, but when the griffins came, everything changed. The griffins came to experiment on immorality via the brain, but when they tried to remove the so called "killswitch" from the young ponies' brains, it gave them terrible defects. The griffins eventually fled the forest in terror, never daring to look back.
Now, in modern Equestria, Twilight, Spike, and their two friends, Evil Lovieness and Fireworks, discover the legend. And, out of curiousity, go to inspect the area. Each one of them goes through perils as they investigate the orphanage, but will they make it out alive, or be slaughtered by the undead fillies and colts?
