Dustin "Ghost" Echoes finds himself – somehow – tossed into another reality. Nothing makes sense, as he can't seem to recall the circumstances that led to him being there. Soon, however, he finds that he is being forced into another war in this new land. He didn't like being involved in the power struggle between the greedy NCR, the tyranny of Caesar's Legion, the enigmatic Mr. House, and that bastard Benny; and does not want to be involved in another war!

Even more distressing, is that Dustin can't seem to remember anything relating specifically to himself, the Mojave or his past. In a mental war between his old self and a developing new persona, Dustin feels like he needs to uncover his past – as it may be the key to returning home. The only problem? Shadows peer into his mind, images of past events that make him unsure whether or not he wants to recover from whatever robbed him of his memories.

So what's a deadly braincase to do?
