Chapters One Night At The Barn – by VeganCheesecake Or: The (mis)adventures of two members of the Apple Family and two other stallions
“Hurgh!”
Big Macintosh lifted the last barrel of cider onto his back. He looked about and made sure nopony was around, watching him, before he started to walk off, carrying the 30 gallons of Sweet Apple Acres' most delicious cider – this year was truly a banner year of crops. He wouldn't steal it usually. The Apple family was known for its generosity and kindness and they often under priced their products. But this was a very special occasion. No one was supposed to know what was going to happen tomorrow night, nor should anypony know about the barrel. After all, it was he who was doing the fancy mathematics here; nopony was ever going to notice that a barrel went missing.
He reached a small barn, far beyond the last hill of Sweet Apple Acres. Nopony ever came here, most likely nopony even knew of this place – nopony except him. He opened the door, walked in and nearly stepped on Smarty Pants.
“Must have forgotten to put her back again…”
Placing the barrel next to a huge pile of hay, which he used as his bed, he took a look around to see if anything had changed since his last visit. The barn didn't look any different to him: Besides from Smarty Pants lying on the floor, all of her dresses and brushes still rested on the shelf he once got from Twilight for helping her out. The books, underneath Smarty Pants' accessories and items, looked dusty as always. He didn't enjoy reading too much. Besides, Twilight gave him weird looks when he asked for books about pony anatomy, recent fashion styles and schmaltzy love poems. Not only did these books not go well together; Twilight had also been asking him tons of questions about them.
“The anatomy book, fair enough. But fashion and love poems? What do you need them for?”
Back then, he decided to remain silent most of the time and to be short with her, just as usual. Nopony must know. In the corner, rope was piled up; properly wound up and nicely arranged. On the wall, two of his favorite collars hung. Both were nicely polished. Hooks, carabineers and various other metal loops amongst chains were hanging from the ceiling and the walls. Only one thing seemed to be missing. Big Mac thought for a moment, then rifled through the hay – it didn’t solely provide a nice sleeping place for him. He grinned as he discovered 3 riding crops and a large wooden paddle nicely hidden under the soft hay. This truly was going to be the best night ever.

He hated rude awakenings like this; he also hated trains. His thoughts started to wander every time he was traveling by train and it was impossible for him to focus on anything real; he could never tell if he was dreaming or wide awake. Why was he even taking this stupid train again? Oh, right. Because of “it”. How could he forget about that? Not that it was his turn to visit; he would have simply ignored the invitation if that had been the case. But it was different a bit different from that. For the first time, his entire family, and not just one particular family member meant something to him.
When he entered the diner, the smell of marzipan and apple pie embraced him – a nice contrast to the musty smell inside his cabin. He wasn't here for eating though. Something else was on his mind – he needed a drink to clear his mind. The same old questions were running through his head, over and over again: Where was he going? Why the train, since he couldn’t stand it? Missing his town already, he sighed deeply. When he looked up from the counter, a young, blond mare had appeared out of nowhere. Her well-groomed hair was tied up with a red ribbon into a ponytail. The hat she was wearing spoke for itself. She smiled at him, the freckled cheeks flushing red. He couldn't believe his eyes. Startled and unsure about what to reply, he just smiled back at her.
A moment later, she was gone, along with the dinner. He hadn’t left his cabin – nor just met his cousin. Instead, somepony had brought him a pie while he was dozing. Still warm and steaming, its sweet smell of almonds tickled his nostrils. The tag on it read: “Welcome to Ponyville – Love, Pinkie”. How the pie got here, he didn't know. One thing for sure though: He was about to reach his destination. A week of fun was lying ahead of him.

It wasn’t that Twilight didn’t like welcomes, or goodbyes, or train stations, or trains, or her friends. She simply had better things to do today! The entire town was busy getting prepared for cider season – this didn’t mean they were getting ready to go camping in front of the Apple family’s farm to have wild cider parties with Pinkie, like last year. This time, it would be a way bigger cider party. Besides, Pinkie hadn’t prepared anything for camping. She was right here at this very moment, bouncing around in excitement. And there was Applejack, way too busy with getting things organized – you could clearly see how stressed and tired she was. It was a pity she had to stand here waiting, Twilight didn’t like to see her like this. Still Applejack couldn’t just leave right now. Twilight knew that and tried the best to ignore this fact. As her mind wandered, she started to double-check everything, on the imaginary checklist inside her head, which she had already done today.
Cider season was going to be quite special this year: The crop, exceptionally rich, with great tasting apples of all sorts, had caught the attention of the Royal family. Now they were having a cider week full of celebrations, music, ponies from everywhere and, obviously, tons of cider; fresh squeezed and ready for drinking. Twilight was especially excited about the star guest of this event: Princess Celestia decided to defer to her sister this time, giving her the permission to raise the moon in front of the crowd, in the same way as the sun was being raised every Summer Sun Celebration by Twilight’s mentor. Overcoming most of her social awkwardness, Luna agreed to do what her sister suggested. Twilight was happy to hear that. She couldn’t wait for the Princess of the Night to arrive tonight. The “Cider Festival” was starting tomorrow, but lots of things had to be prearranged. She had even made a checklist, just for the princess so that they wouldn’t forget about a single thing they had to do before the opening ceremony!
A voice to her left disrupted her thoughts.
“Train’s comin’!”
Twilight turned her head. At the horizon, Applejack spotted a cloud of smoke. Everypony knew what that meant.
“Ohmigosh, I hope I have my confetti ready and didn’t put it in the oven like last time when I welcomed Cranky with my wagon and it got all over me and Cranky and I had to take a 2 hour bath afterwards, that’d be crazy if that happened again especially since I think I gotta be nice to Applejack’s cousin because we are both friends already and I didn’t even send him anything for his birthday and so I want to make up for this now and I’m just so excited about this I can’t believe it!” Pinkie decided to stop talking for a moment and breathe so that she could continue on if need be.
Both Twilight and Applejack were kind of relieved that she had to breathe now and then. Pinkie Pie was a great friend – if she only didn’t talk so much and took things more seriously now and then, she’d be even greater! The two mares hoped she didn’t talk the guest to death…and they were about to find out if that’d happen. Squeaking brakes brought the train to a hold. The doors opened. Out walked, in full glory, wearing the finest jacket he owned and his hat for special occasions, Braeburn.
“Braeburn is here!” Pinkie squealed in excitement.
“Ah’m happy to see ya, cousin. Welcome to Ponyville!” Applejack said while offering him her hoof. Hesitantly, he shook hooves with her.
“It’s nice to see you too, cousin.”
Twilight decided to chime in before Pinkie Pie decided to: “Hello, my name is…”
“Twilight Sparkle, I suppose?” Braeburn interrupted. “We met before, but Big Macintosh told me lots of things about you as well. You’re the mare that is strangely obsessed with books and knowledge. I also heard you’re studying friendship…whatever that means…I still remember how you, your pink friend there, Applejack and 3 other ponies all came to Appleloosa to bring good ol’ Bloomberg to us. You’re one bunch of crazy folks, I tell ya’! You and your crazy pink friend are the ones I remember the best; I mean, your curiosity and her crazy singing and that costume she wore! She really thought she could prevent a fight with that? Haha, at least it was great entertainment! Now how do I get to the farm?”
Twilight blushed. Pinkie Pie was frozen to the spot, her jaw had dropped as soon as Braeburn started to describe her. Since then she seemed distressed. Braeburn left without another word. Applejack decided to run after him. She didn’t want to leave him alone in a town he barely knew.
“Pinkie, are you okay?”
Twilight was really worried about her pink friend. She didn’t need her to go Pinkamena tonight. Not while the princess was in town. Pinkie looked up to the book-obsessed mare.
“Wow, this is really one cold-hearted meanie pie mister! Nothing too hard for Pinkie Pie though. At the end of this festival, this pony is gonna smile smile smile; with or without my help.”
All worries vanished with Pinkie’s words, leaving Twilight confused. She lifted an eyebrow when she heard Pinkie’s last sentence. Perhaps she was just being Pinkie Pie…but what was up with the stallion they just met? He was part of Applejack’s family, sure, but why did he come here when he hated the ponies living in this town? Something had to be up with this guy, she just didn’t know what…

Author's Note
This might seem innocent at first before the whole story turns into something that won’t fit everybody’s taste. It involves lots of detail and not much sentimentally or sensuality. Proceed with caution if you’re usually into soft stuff.
“Braeburn! Wait!”
Braeburn turned around. Applejack was running after him.
“What’s wrong, cuz?”
She glared at him. What kind of game was this guy playing?
“Ya totally know what’s wrong! Nopony insults my friends…”
He didn’t seem to feel guilty at all. Especially she, the Element of Honesty, knew very well how ponies acted. If he knew about that? AJ wasn’t sure.
“Oh, that. It was nothin’ really. Must be still a bit stressed. Traveling is always a pain in the neck. I’m just glad to see you.”
“Brae, ah must insist: You gotta’ apologize to Pinkie Pie! The way you acted, tha’ wasn’t the friendly Braeburn ah’ve always known ‘n if Rarity was here, she would def’nitely tell ya that this isn’t the way to treat a mare. Or any mare! Pinkie even baked ya a pie…Hey! Are ya even lis’nin?”
“I totally am. Now what was that about Pinkie and her pie? Do you mean this one?”
Braeburn pulled out the almond pie out of his saddlebag. It was only now he noticed the tag; now it made sense to him. Pinkie Pie, the pink pony. The crazy, singing pony that you could almost make responsible for a war in his beloved town – this was the pony he had insulted. They both just stared silently at the pie. He decided to break the silence by offering her a piece of it. She then decided to shout at him.
“Now listen to me, dipshit! Ah’m gonna tell ya what’s on mah mind right now! Either ya gonna apologize to Pinkie or ya can get the buck off mah farm. Ain’t nopony insultin’ mah friends. Ever. Got that?”
She gazed down at her cousin, who seemed now to be three sizes smaller. A feeling of satisfaction rushed through her body. For so long she was the one being pushed around by Braeburn, but this one time the Element of Honesty struck back – being completely honest with him.
“...Yes, cuz.”
“Ya mean ‘Yes, Applejack’, right?”
“Yes…yes, Applejack.”
“Then come on! Sweet Apple Acres’ waitin’ for ya! Yeehaw!”
Applejack ran off with these words. Over her shoulder, she saw the still startled Braeburn, not moving an inch.
“And while you’re at it, invite Pinkie for pie this afternoon!”

When he arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, he was amazed by the foreign architecture and all the different materials the cake bakery building was made of – or better said, the sweets looked very life-like, even though they weren’t sweet, but actually woody, rock-hard, bone-dry…something along those lines. He stepped inside. The door jingle attracted both the attention of the customers and the shop owners. Running out of the store again as quick as he had entered it would have been a great idea right now if he didn’t have to do this for his cousin. When he asked for Pinkie, he was told to go upstairs. The next five minutes appeared to be the most awkward in his entire life.

“Ah’m awfully sorry, Pinkie. Ah know this wasn’t mah mistake, but ah want to apologize in the name of my cousin once more. Ya know he didn’t mean it that way.”
“Oh, don’t worry Applejack. I’m all fine! Another piece of pie?”
Pinkie grinned at Applejack the same way she always grinned at every pony. She looked better than ever, it was hard to tell that she had been angry or distressed before. Even her mane seemed extra-poofy – not a single sign of bad mood was visible.
“Thanks, sugarcube, but ah’m pretty sure Granny would rather eat one. I gotta run now, lots of things to organize. Thanks for comin’ either way. ‘S been a pleasure! Catch ya later!”
Left alone, Pinkie Pie, Braeburn and Granny Smith stared into their plates. The silence didn’t last long.
“Hey Braeburn, I just wondered…Applejack told me you don’t like visiting Ponyville and Mrs. Cake said she had never seen you before and Carrot Top said she had never seen you before either so I did some more investigations and asked a few ponies that might know things about you and I came to the conclusion that you desperately want to meet Big Macintosh, is that right and why is that so I mean you don’t have to tell me but what if this is all true? So what’s hanging, Chad?”
Braeburn didn’t dare to look up when he answered. He kept staring into his plate. Acting like the brave guy he was, Pinkie still managed to tickle his soft spot. Did this mare know practically everything? He wasn’t sure, but you could assume wild things when it came to interacting with this pink mare. The challenge now was not to blush and not to look up. Never look into a pony’s eyes in a state like this.
“Well, this ain’t entirely true, Pinkie Pie. I just thought that the festival was a nice occasion I could also combine with a family visit. And I like Ponyville, it’s a great town – I just don’t like traveling by train. Does that explain the matter?”
You could see the excitement in Pinkie’s face.
“Ooooooooooohh…I understand! Well, have fun then. I hope you won’t forget the wonderful times you’re gonna have here in Ponyville. Greet the others from me too. Hope you all enjoy yourselves!”
Slightly puzzled, Braeburn ate the last piece on his plate before rushing to the door. He didn’t even dare to ask Pinkie what that meant. He had a bad feeling about this. Did she know or not? How could she know? He decided to simply forget what just happened. All he knew right now is that he had to avoid this pony in the future.

The princess arrived after sunset as was planned. This wasn’t unusual, considering she was the Princess of the Night. Twilight welcomed her at the library before presenting all the work her and all the other Ponyvilians had done so far. Twilight felt very proud, not a single thing on her checklist was left undone. For once, the banner hadn’t been a disaster – they didn’t write “Welcome Princess Lu” on it, or, as they did last time, “Princess Celest”. Nopony had been wasting time watering the flowers – Twilight took care of this by telling certain ponies they should tell the ponies that do unnecessary tasks what they could do instead. Her well-thought-out system worked, much to the pleasure of the purple mare and the Princess.
At Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight showed Luna how she had been helping all day with decorations and cider production. There was plenty of cider pre-made already and more than Rainbow Dash could ever dream of still in production. Everypony would get enough cider to enjoy this time – provided that Pinkie was able to still her quenchless thirst. When the Princess demanded to try the first cup of cider, both decided to sit down on a hill and enjoy the view. The stars were shining bright, as they would be for the rest of the week. The weather ponies promised bright nights and lots of sunshine. In exchange, everypony knew it, they demanded cider. Rainbow Dash ended up being put in charge of lifting a few heavy barrels up to Cloudsdale. The help the weather ponies sent for her, three buff pegasi ready to help carrying the barrels, was declined by Rainbow Dash – she had to prove a point here, she had to lift the barrels herself. Of course she failed; she didn’t make it very far and had to admit she was beaten. When Twilight told the Princess about this, she couldn’t deny that she was amused by this little story.
“We certainly enjoy the stories you are telling us, Twilight Sparkle. Now we understand why our sister is enjoying these friendship reports of you and your friends.”
“Gee, thanks Princess. But these stories are not that great. You must have heard a lot of stories like these in your life so far. I’m not so special – I sometimes can hardly believe that Princess Celestia really did choose me to be her number one apprentice. It’s like a dream come true, but at the same time I always ask myself how many other ponies have been in my position. How many ponies the Princess must have met already in her life! I’m just one of this whole bunch of ponies that she might not even remember anymore one day, when I’m gone.”
She took a sip from her cider. One mug for each of them…just to test, of course.
“Forsooth, Twilight Sparkle. You tend to exaggerate a bit. Memories don’t always pass so quickly. We are convinced you’ll leave an impression on our beloved sister.” She also took a sip from her cider. “It’s true; one can really taste the quality and care of the Apple Family. We are impressed by this mug of cider. It’s a pleasure for us to be the star guest of this upcoming event if every barrel of cider is as good as this one.”
“I’m pretty sure it is, Princess. I’m not Applejack, but since I helped the Apple Family with the cider production I can tell you that we worked by the usual quality standards! Love in every mug!” She smiled at Luna; her smile revealing the satisfaction with the things she achieved and also some admiration aimed towards the Princess. “You know, Princess Luna…I was thinking about how well you are doing with all the difficulties after your banishment and how well you started to adjust to life after your return. When I first met you, you seemed so sad that you even wished to be back on the moon. I really loved how you didn’t give up though and how your subjects showed understanding and were considerate…and now, after so much time, you even are a star guest of a big event which is unique in Equestria; it will be visited by ponies from everywhere and I’ve never seen the moon being raised before! I feel so glad for you that you are doing this.”
“Twilight Sparkle!” The princess struck a truly royal pose. “We are oh so honored to not only be the star guest of this year’s Cider Festival, but as well pleasing Princess Celestia’s special student this way! A pony as unique as you deserves such things. And by Celestia’s beard, EVERYPONY SHALL KNOW THAT TWILIGHT SPARKLE IS A FRIENDLY, TALENTED, TRULY GIFTED, INQUISITIVE AND SMART MARE; HEREBY WE DECLARE THAT SHE IS THE SMARTEST PONY IN PONYVILLE!!!!!”
From afar, voices could be heard. At Sweet Apple Acres, lights turned on in every room. Twilight was still startled by the sudden impact the Royal Canterlot Voice had caused.
“Princess,” she whispered. “Please refrain from using the Royal Canterlot Voice! Especially at night! Other ponies are asleep!”
“We are awfully sorry, Twilight Sparkle. You have our apologies.”
Luna couldn’t repress a smile while she said that, so she covered her mouth with her hoof. They both ended up laughing, Twilight because she couldn’t understand a word of what just been said and the Princess because she just did something awkward again.

“I always like the buff and strong! And if they’re well-endowed, I’ll even do them for free!”
Big Macintosh wasn’t sure whether he should turn around or not. The first option seemed more polite, so he just decided to drop the apple baskets he was carrying and to look up to Braeburn, posing on the only hill that had yet been grazed by the first rays of sunlight of this beautiful morning.
“Good morning, sexy beast. Ya’ haven’t changed a bit!” A tone of contempt accompanied his words. “I hope you had a blast last night. You seem to be in form, despite all that cider you drank yesterday! You know though that it is primarily meant for all the guests we’ll be having? Now don’t tell me you are one of them; you’re a family member, nothing more and nothing less. The festival didn’t even start and you emptied like 5 barrels of our booze in one night!”
Braeburn trotted down the hill. Instead of focusing on Big Mac’s face, as would be expected, he riveted on his plot. Not being unaware of this, Big Macintosh turned around.
“No need to rush, cousin. Calling you a sexy beast doesn’t imply that you can hump me anywhere you like, nor does it mean that you can shout all over the place that you do me for free, alright-y? We got some standards!”
Whimsically grinning, Braeburn countered with fake surprise: “Oh, do we? I thought you’ve always been the little slut you seem to be when I’m around. And I know you love being around me…”
He began to circle his cousin. It wouldn’t be long till he had him there where he wanted it. Only in a figurative sense for now…the literal sense was just a matter of time.
“Uhm…well…cuz, I’m pretty sure we could come to an arrangement and at least postpone certain…” He gulped. “…activities until later. Okay? Let’s go to the barn. Just lemme get these…apples…to…Applejack first…”
Braeburn silenced him with a long, passionate kiss. Big Macintosh could feel how his cousin let his tongue playing around. Being hesitant had never been an option in these kinds of situations, so he decided to give in, put his hooves around him and to take part. Nopony would stop him now; it didn’t matter where the two Apples were right now or who could see them. Braeburn’s warm breath tickled his coat as he kept exploring his mouth as if it was the first time that they kissed.
A look of satisfaction filled Braeburn’s eyes as he noticed his cousin was giving in. It was a great feeling to seduce stallions like this; it seemed that this was secretly his special talent – not apple farming, but seducing every guy he met. Of course, if the stallion he met was straight it was hard. The gayer his counterpart though, the easier it was to get what he wanted. The biggest success for him meant that he started to make out in public – he just achieved it, although it might have been a bit bold to call an open, empty field during the morning hours “public”.
Big Macintosh started to release Braeburn out of his hug. He cleaned himself up and then tried to bend his head so he could have a look at his member between his legs. Braeburn seemed amused.
“Hah, worried about getting hard in public? Am I giving you so much pleasure already? Well, don’t worry. You’re still flaccid. Either way, does that matter?”
“My sister is waiting.” Big Mac grabbed the baskets he dropped earlier and shoved them in his cousin’s direction. “I’m gonna get another two of those; you take these now and off you go to my sis! She doesn’t have all day. I promise we’ll have some private moments later.”
With that, he left into the other direction. All alone, Braeburn started to head back to where he came from.

“I don’t get it.” Spike took the muffins from the counter and ran after Twilight. “I mean, it’s all nice and stuff that your brother is visiting you Twilight, but why does he travel alone? What’s up with Cadance? They’re married after all, Shining Armor and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza…”
He overstressed the last three words. Twilight suddenly felt reminded of the fake Cadance everypony had to deal with at the wedding. A sudden flashback hit her.
“Twilight? Are you okay?”
“…yes, I think I am…well, Shining told me Cadance doesn’t feel so well at the moment. She also doesn’t like cider this much it seems. It makes me a bit sad not to see World’s Greatest Foalsitter again, but what could I do? I’m happy with seeing my brother again though. We’ll have lots of fun together!”
The door to the library stood open. Hoofprints on the floor hinted at somepony who forgot to wipe their hooves before entering. The odd thing about this was that Twilight hadn’t invited anypony to her house, nor did she know who would carelessly leave her door open.
“Hello? Who’s there?” she asked out loud.
The hoofprints lead into the right direction. Each print seemed to consist of thick, wet mud – who wouldn’t wipe their hooves before entering a home? Everypony knew how to do that! The muddy trace ended in front of Twilight’s kitchen door. Rattling could be heard behind it. Carefully, she opened the door…and gasped! Splashes of raw dough sprinkled the room from top to bottom. The contents of a few raw eggs were running over the floor. On the oven, something inside a pan emitted thick, black smoke. In the center of this chaos stood Princess Luna; she as well covered in all kinds of ingredients which were originally intended for a meal. Twilight’s eyes grew wide while her mane started to become visibly fizzy.
“Princess! What are you doing in here?”
“Greetings, Twilight Sparkle! We wanted to affirm our thanks to you for your courtesy, so we tried to make some pancakes in your absence. We’re having a little problem here, though…” She blushed.
Twilight didn’t know what to do, so she just kept staring at the mess. After a short while, she found her voice again.
“I appreciate the offer, but couldn’t you ask somepony for help? And why are your hooves all muddy and the front door gaping wide open?!”
“Did we forget to wipe our hooves? Oh, the shame! Once more we forgot about our good manners…”
Suddenly, the burned dough inside the pan piped up by bursting into flames. Twilight started to scream in panic, grabbed a towel, took the pan, almost burned herself while doing so, ran out of the room and threw it out of the window.
“Spike! Spiiiiiike! Come here and help Luna to clean the kitchen! I’m late for Shining Armor’s arrival, so hurry up! We don’t have all day.”
When she ran outside, still panicking, she almost stepped into the boiling hot pan, still emitting black smoke. A few ponies had gathered around it and stared at it in amazement as if they had never seen something burnt before.

“It’s so nice to see you here in Ponyville, BBBFF.”
“Well, thanks for the invitation, sister. I couldn’t decline any invitation by you, could I? It’s just Cadance that had to stay home; she’s sick. Pity. I bet she wanted to see Ponyville as much as me. Care to show me around before you get back to business?”
Twilight was still under shock, so she appreciated the short break she would get by this walkabout and agreed on showing Shining Armor around. Although the whole town was busy, she still caught Pinkie at Sugar Cube Corner and was able to get two cupcakes from her. Dash was dozing on her cloud, as usual. Other ponies were busier: Roseluck was arranging her flowers in front of her house. She hoped that she would make top sales with her large variety of flowers tonight. Bon Bon was busy getting the taps attached to cider barrels. She would be helping out the Apples tonight and sell cider for them for a small fee. When they asked her how she was doing and where Lyra was hiding, she explained to both how busy she was and that she sent her away to do what she felt like doing and how she was no use when she was working…she also hoped that she didn’t get as drunk as last year with Cheerilee. When two boozers met…
As if they asked for it, they found Berry Punch asleep under one of the tables that were placed everywhere in town. Most of them gathered in front of the stage at the town hall of course, where Princess Luna would raise the moon tonight. The fact that she was sleeping irritated Twilight a bit. She told herself that Berry was probably just catching up sleep for later and left with a frown on her face. Shining seemed very interested in every citizen they met and politely greeted every pony they talked to. Twilight introduced Shining Armor as her brother every time and didn’t tell anypony that didn’t know of his position how prominent her brother was. She thought it was better that way.
At Rarity’s Boutique, they found the CMC all alone, sitting in a circle in the middle of the shop – not a bit of Rarity. When they recognized Shining Armor, they all jumped up and started to jump around him chanting “He married Cadance!” in a pretty similar way Twilight once did. She told the CMC the other day about this and, since then, they had been bugging her with the wedding every day. Her brother reacted in a friendly and loving way. Something made him good with children, Twilight sensed that. And still now, although she was older, she still loved her brother as much as she did before. He was a natural-born father. When all three of them had calmed down, Twilight dared to ask Sweetie Belle where her big sister was.
“Oh, she said we should watch over the shop while she’s handing out dresses for important ponies tonight! I think she said she wanted to see…Princess Luna?!”
Luna? Twilight gulped. “Come on brother, we gotta go! Thanks, girls. Have fun together.”
Shining dived out of the boutique; right after Twilight Sparkle that ran so fast as if she was being chased by an entire hornets' nest. When both arrived at the library, the floor was already scrubbed. The door to the kitchen stood open this time; the room sparkling clean – no sight of Spike, Luna or Rarity. Confused, she walked back to Shining Armor who was waiting at the doorstep.
“I could have sworn they would be here…hey, BBBFF, don’t you wanna come in?”
“Well, of course. My pleasure! I’m just used to being invited in. Remember that one time when…?”
He was stopped when he saw Spike coming down the stairs, wearing the sparkliest, fanciest and manliest suit he ever wore since he was born. The white suit, gemmed and made-to-measure for him left Shining Armor speechless. His look on his face told that he had just forgotten where he was or what he was saying a minute ago. “Spike in a fancy suit with a bowtie? That could only mean one thing”, Twilight thought.
“Wow Spike, looking good, little guy! That's one of Rarity's outfits, right?” Twilight gave her assistant a friendly smile.
“You bet Twilight; it's custom made just for me”, he proudly explained. His mouth formed a grin. “Don't tell me you're getting jealous...”
Twilight gave him a friendly punch with her left hoof after that remark which caused Spike to stumble. The three of them laughed for a few seconds just before hearing the sound of somepony coming down the steps. The three of them turned to see that it was their good friend Rarity.
“Rarity!” Twilight and Shining Armor caught themselves shouting at the same time as she trotted up to them, looking very festive.
“My dear friends! I see you’re stunned by Spike’s new outfit? Wait till you see yours !”
Twilight didn’t even bother to tattle with her friend right now. She still had a lot to organize. Still, she couldn’t deny herself one question…
“So, how’s business today, Rarity? I see you’re taking the opportunity to promote your designs. I also heard you would also make a dress for the Princess. Is that true?”
The white mare seemed quite amused when she heard the words “promote” and “princess”. Before responding, she coughed. Twilight and Shining looked at each other as if they shared the same thought.
“Oh things are going just splendid, my dear Twilight! I must say, this was just a great idea Sweetie Belle came up with. When she mentioned that I should create a special outfit just for tonight, I instantly got to work and started making dresses for everypony important here in Ponyville. That’s why you are getting one as well, darling. And your big brother of course as well – care to follow me to my boutique after I’m done here, Captain?”
A sassy wink that followed this question had the desired effect on Twilight’s brother. He blushed and could only giggle in response.
Luna entered the room. At first sight, Twilight couldn’t tell whether Princess Celestia stood for her or her sister. Luna was wearing a bright dress, which build a huge contrast to her coat and mane. The whole dress was truly mystique and created as a reverence towards her beloved moon – sparkling diamonds, frills and several layers of fabric hinted at Rarity’s handwriting. The thought that this dress was given away for free would have caused anypony to faint.
“Say, do we look pretty in this? The Generous Rarity told us we were “truly chic”; we demand that you tell us your opinion on this!”
Twilight sighed. Shining Armor, as always, didn’t know what to say.
“You don’t need to be anxious about your looks, Princess. Rarity is telling the truth! Besides, I bet you already looked at yourself, did you? You’ll look gorgeous tonight!” She bowed in front of the Princess of the Night.
“Oh, but one thing is missing, how could I have forgotten about your earrings! And perhaps we should do something with your mane!” Rarity took her glasses that were lying on a table next to her and began to rummage through the bag she brought with her. After a while, she looked up at Princess Luna in disappointment. “As I thought! Would you accompany me to my boutique? I don’t have the right jewelry with me right now. And you too, Shining Armor. No time to waste. Twilight, I’ll send somepony to you to bring you your dress. Is that fine with you?”
Without waiting for a response, Rarity left the library with Luna to her left and Shining Armor to her right, reflecting on all the fashion ideas she got for them. Twilight sent Spike back to work; afterwards, she went to see Applejack for a final meeting before the start of the event.

The padlock snapped open. Two stallions entered the barn before the taller and stronger one of them closed the door behind him. Only a small window at the back of the barn, which, of all things, was also almost completely boarded-up, provided some light. The heavyset pony turned to the left and told the other one not to move. A drawer opened, a clicking noise could be heard. A bright beam of light hit Braeburn, causing him to close his eyes.
“Sorry, that wasn’t my intention”, his cousin apologized. “Didn’t know where you were standing. This flashlight can be mighty dangerous…anyway… this is my barn! You should remember how it looks. We partied here last year, too. If you could call that a party…maybe having some sexy time together would be the right way to put it?” Big Macintosh smirked.
“I brought us some cider for tonight.”He spotlighted the barrel. Four mugs were placed on top of it.
“So that’s the surprise?” Braeburn asked. “Four mugs? I see where this is going. What about toys? Other important liquids that are essential to have some fun? And do you have enough rope ready?”
Big Macintosh spotlighted the pile of ropes and nodded. “Eeyup. Now let’s get going, we don’t have all day. We have to finish before the event starts.”
“Well, in any case, cuz…I have some equipment with me. We might need it.”
He winked at Big Mac that didn’t really pay attention, already heading for the door. Always working hard…Braeburn hoped he would care less about that soon or he’d be no fun to play with, in the end.

“Magnificent. Truly magnificent, darling. That’s exactly how I imagined it.”
Shining Armor took a look at himself in the mirror after Rarity had given him a forty minute makeover. Forty minutes of standing straight, being unable to move because otherwise it would break Rarity's concentration. The horror, the horror. The weirdest thing about himself now was his hair. You couldn’t see it, that’s what was weird. He was wearing a helmet! How did Rarity come up with that? Also, spikes on his suit? Spikes? He looked like a punk in a semi-fancy disguise.
“Ehhm…Miss Rarity, I’m not sure how to describe my feelings about your outfit.” He looked down, then looked up. Wearing armor was one thing. This on the other hand…was ridiculous.
“Just tell me if there is something wrong. Here to help!” She forced a smile on her face.
It was obvious she was stressed and didn’t sleep for days. The Element of Generosity had overworked herself once again. Another quiet moment followed while Shining Armor was pondering on what to say. On the one hoof, he wanted to be subtle; on the other he just wanted to get something else to wear tonight.
“I guess…it’s not quite what I expected to wear tonight. I was glad I wouldn’t be wearing anything…armor-like. And I just love my saddle. Do you know what I mean?”
“But Shining! What is wrong with the design? It suits you! What else do you want me to come up with?”
“I guess it’s the helmet. I don’t like it, it’s kinda heavy. When you said you’d come up with something special for me, I expected something else. Something…light. Do you know what I mean now?”
Shining Armor looked down. He seemed slightly distressed after that explanation and didn’t dare to look Rarity in the eyes. Then he tried to rephrase what he just said but all that managed to slide out of his lips was an “I'm sorry.” Rarity lifted the helmet from Shining’s head. She looked deep into his eyes.
“No need to be sad, Shining. Do you think you disappointed me? No, you didn’t. I want every costumer to be satisfied, so you’re going to be satisfied too! Tell me exactly what you want; I’ll take your measurements again. We’ll wrap something up. Oh, and before I forget it, I’ll be right back and call a friend of mine. She’s great at haircuts; she’ll make you look fabulous in no time since you don’t want to wear headgear!”
Before Shining Armor could open his mouth again, Rarity had left the room. During her absence, he decided to use the opportunity and look at himself closer; played his muscles, wiggled his plot in front of the mirror, thought about his last hooficure. The last time he had one was for the wedding. Cadance, he believed, made him get one. The sad…or good thing about that was that he had enjoyed it. It took ages for Rarity to come back, so he took a look at the samples next. Dresses weren’t his taste of course, still, for Cadance this would be…
“I hope this didn’t take too long. She’ll be there in a bit, is that okay? Did you think about your outfit yet?” When Rarity noticed that Shining was inspecting the dresses, she giggled. “Don’t tell me you want to wear this dress! Maybe it is your size though…”
“Haha, no!” Shining stuck his tongue out at Rarity, then went back on the podium he stood on before. “I’m not all for dresses. Still, I wonder what kind of lingerie you sell here…” he admitted. His statement accompanied by a smirk.
“Shining Armor, Captain of the Royal Guard! You can’t be serious about this! You’re married and demand naughty clothing although your wife isn’t even around? She’s not in Ponyville, she stayed home! Care to explain what you’re up to? A gentleman doesn’t have affairs…” Eyes filled with indignation pierced the white colt.
“If she only knew about our sex life…” he thought. “This’ll take some time to explain…”

Another forty minutes later, Shining was attired in the sauciest thing he had ever seen so far. This could have easily beaten everything in Cadance’s dresser. Where did Rarity keep this stuff? During the last ten minutes, he tried on dozens of different thongs and Rarity had a much bigger collection still hidden somewhere. He went for something in a brighter blue because he really didn’t want to wear anything pink or flamboyant – after all, he was a stallion and not a mare. One thing kept him puzzled: How many of these things did Rarity own for herself? How many for other stallions she knows? He didn’t dare to ask. She also lent him some stockings. She demanded him to wear them or he wouldn’t look as good for his special occasion tonight. When she put them on, he started to blush.
“Uhm…do you really think this is a good idea? Everypony can see these later.”
Rarity raised her eyebrow, glared at him and then continued her work.
“You just told me what this is all about, so I ask of you a little bit of willingness and cooperation. Now let me make you look pretty. Your hairdresser should be here soon and we need to be done before that.”
Rarity finalized her creation with a brand-new saddle, made-to-measure for him. The only thing that seemed to irritate him about it was the fact that there were light blue bows on it, matching his stockings perfectly. Rarity also added some extra lace. When he thought about complaining, he remembered her words and just kept quiet.
“Now look at that! Fabulous, I say. I couldn’t have done better. It’s light in every way, it features some saddle and it makes you extra cute. I’ll put a few more bows in your hair after the haircut. Oh and of course…”
She left the room and returned after a short time with a collar – matching tone again. The light blue collar went around Shining’s neck before Rarity squeed once more at her creation and then left. He could have run away now. Why should he though? He was dressed in inappropriate clothes. So he just waited, let his mane being cut and styled, even waited until the bows were added but then fainted when he heard what was yet to come.
“Shining, you still lack of one thing before you can go and have some fun. Please go to the spa and tell Aloe and Lotus that Rarity sent you. Ask for a hooficure and a little bit of polish in the color that goes with your outfit and then come back and show it to me. You’ll be so pretty tonight!”
“EEEEK! Did I say something wrong? Shining? Shining? Hmm…where did I hide these smelling salts? I’m pretty sure that’ll wake him up. I’m really looking forward to see him later when…”

“Now that’s enough, ya hear? We ain’t gonna need more cider than that t’night”, Applejack shouted.
Big Macintosh glared at Braeburn. “Do you know what that means, cousin? Snuggling time is now over – time to pull the cart! ‘N’ don’t you think I’m doing this alone!”
Braeburn showed no reaction. He trotted after Big Macintosh when the red stallion started to walk towards the cart, filled with a whole bunch of cider barrels. Again, he only had eyes for his plot – Big Mac could feel how Braeburn’s glances pierced him. When they reached the front of the cart, Granny Smith was waiting for them to yoke them. Braeburn, not very pleased about the things that were happening to him, put up with his “treatment”. The two stallions eventually left moaning under the heavy weight they had to pull. Big Macintosh broke the silence when his sister and Granny were out of reach.
“On the ropes already? It’s still a long way to go till we reach town hall. Hope you don’t collapse before that.”
He felt like he had to pay it back to his cousin since he got seduced by him earlier this morning. Now the sun was already wandering towards the horizon; small hints of orange painted the sky. The town would be busy when they reached it. Braeburn heavily panted and had indeed a hard time replying to Big Mac.
“Well…you know…for…your sweet…ass, I’d…do anything…cousin!” He forced a smile upon his face.
“Don’t overstrain yourself then! I know you can go for hours, but I’m not so sure about that when you gotta do hard work”, the red stallion countered in a voice that was filled with disregard to Braeburn’s usual activities.
Because he had a hard time keeping up, his cousin decided to keep quiet and just pull harder for a while. As they almost reached Ponyville, sweat painted the coat of the two stallions. Braeburn had lowered his head; he let his tongue stick out. It was now though that he found time to answer him.
“You’re one big liar; do you know that, sweetie? Always acting as if you didn’t like me or my sex drive…do you know what? I hope you’re gonna cry tonight. ‘Cause I’ll be fucking you as hard as I can and I’m going to make you admit how dirty you really are. Do you hear me? I don’t have time to play these fucking stupid games of yours! You’re gay, you’re a cockslut and there’s no way you can hide that! But fine, go on with your little dissimulation thing in front of everypony. At least you let certain ponies enter your backdoor without making it a big deal first – but only in private, oh yes…only in private…you faker!”
This time, Big Macintosh ignored him. Before Braeburn had the chance to snap at him again, they were already surrounded by a bunch of ponies. Small queues already formed in front of the cider stalls – none of them were opened yet. In front of the longest queue stood, you guessed it already, Pinkie Pie who was apparently very thirsty. Rainbow Dash could be seen somewhere towards the end of the line. A few stalls were still getting ready to sell; others, like Roseluck’s flowers, were already prepared.
“It’s a pity the band isn’t here yet”, Big Mac remarked. All he could hear from his cousin was a quiet “Ye” and some mumbling.
At every cider stall, they left a few barrels until the cart was empty. On their way back to the farm, both kept rather quiet. Braeburn only made a remark about all the water he was going to chug when they’d arrive and Big Macintosh told him that they had to get clean and dressed for tonight soon. He also mentioned that they should visit the small barn once again afterwards. It was soon time for the moon to be raised and he hadn’t told him what would happen tonight yet – at the barn, they’d be in private.

The fact that Braeburn was being all clingy and imposing Big Macintosh again didn’t bother much this time. Work was done; time to relax. At the watering hole, Braeburn had moved closer to Big Mac, who seriously hoped for nopony to see them, until coat touched coat. Flirting attacks followed; his cousin started to wiggle his plot and dig the ground with his hooves. Usually, Big Macintosh would have complained about this behavior – his cousin was acting like a mare in heat at the watering hole, next to his home! This time though, Big Mac absolutely didn’t mind.
It didn’t take long to get more close than that when the two stallions entered the barn. Big Mac didn’t even have the chance to light all the candles that were placed all over the barn before Braeburn started to lick his cousin’s cheek. This made him blush a little bit. He didn’t bother with the yellow stallion though and grabbed the pack with matches on the shelf. Minutes later, the barn was dimly lit. The smell of fresh hay filled their nostrils, as well as the now extinguished, already used matches. Big Mac hopped on his “bed”, made entirely of hay, and rolled on his back. He forced a smile onto his face when he saw Braeburn’s look. His eyes were filled with lust. If there was one thing Braeburn couldn’t hide, then it was this look that told every stallion he might come across that his random encounter was (literally) fucked. Braeburn never been gentle over all the years and now and then it was really showing.
“I guess you know what I want. Nice to see you’re prepared!” bantered Braeburn and stuck his tongue out once again.
He slowly licked along Big Macintosh’s body, starting right about his private bits…reaching the belly…right up to the neck and stopping right before the lips. He looked into Big Mac’s eyes.
“So…what is going to happen tonight? You wanted to tell me that, right? I think your cock is pointing into the right direction already…if you know what I mean.”
His cock? Big Macintosh couldn’t see it now, Braeburn sat on him and blocked the view; he guessed he wasn’t wrong about this though.
“You have a point there, cuz. But this is not what I meant. The program for tonight is a bit different from usual.” He struggled, unable to move because Braeburn had pinned him down. “For fuck’s sake, do you have to do that? I can’t move.”
“Oh, I know already about our little program change. And do you know what? It’s goooooood.”
Braeburn pressed his lips on Big Mac’s. That was the second time today and again, Big Mac wasn’t prepared for it. He knew he’d have to give in now. If he could, that was. This time, his body and mind decided against it. The whole situation didn’t turn him on for some reason, something bothered him. Thanks to Celestia, Braeburn broke off after a short time. Big Mac got up.
“Do I have the permission to speak now? I’m such a wussy; I can’t speak up for myself though I lift the heaviest things and have the broadest shoulders in Equestria!” Braeburn curtsied and wiped away a non-existent tear.
“You’re such a silly pony, cuz. I almost laughed. Now listen up before you jump the gun! You were right about the four mugs. Four mugs mean four ponies, if that’s what you assumed. I may tell you, only the best ones were asked to come tonight. Both are attached – one even married. The thing is…they’re bi-curious, I think. Which made them perfect for you – I couldn’t just not ask them. Go right ahead and teach them all you know…after we watched the moon being raised, we shouldn’t miss that. And oh yes! The cider is all for us; I got the rope right here in the corner and some other equipment can be found…”
He rifled through the hay and grabbed the crops and the paddle. “…right here!” They landed in from of Braeburn that couldn’t hide his excitement once again.
“Mhm. It sounds like your two guests aren’t the only ones that should be taught something.”
He inspected the crops more closely between his hooves. What was he doing there? Big Mac trotted closer to him.
“Is there any way I could help you, cuz?”
“Oh, no. I’m alright. I’m just trying something and I think I already found out what I wanted to know.”
There was this look in his eyes again…what happened next went a bit too fast for Big Mac to realize. The stinging pain that shot through his body a moment later told him what Braeburn just had done. He grimaced with pain. Braeburn had checked the length and hardness of the crops! And now he was using the “best” one on him!
“Do you like that? I can see you do!”
He whipped Big Mac’s flank a second time. Shortly after, a third time.
“Aaaahhh…” Big Macintosh moaned as the pain intensified with the two new strokes, causing him to tear up.
“I guess I didn’t promise too much while we were drawing the cart! You should see yourself! I know how much you enjoy this. Since when did you learn to get turned on by pain, cousin? Hmm? It’s just great I brought my saddle bags with me. This is gonna be so much more interesting in a minute.” He struck the crop another time before he began to search for some “fun” in his saddle bags. “Move one inch and it’ll get even more painful.”
He pulled a full harness, a few dildos and butt plugs and a few more things to inflict pain out of his bag. It wasn’t that Big Macintosh would have been unfamiliar with this. Still, he slightly was. Since their last meeting, the harness had changed color. Braeburn always owned this generic brown version. This time though…it was pink. Light pink. He gulped.
“What’s wrong? Any objections? Or should we show your two guests how it’s really done?”
Big Macintosh looked down – an act of submission he was only partly aware of performing.
“That’s a good boy. Exactly what I expected to hear. Well then, let’s get started!”
Braeburn grabbed the bridle he had brought with him. The bit made the red stallion worry a little. He wasn’t sure if he ever saw something this thick. The blinders didn’t look very nice as well. Big Macintosh already sensed that he wasn’t going to see much from now on. It was obvious that this entire bridle only served one purpose: To keep him from talking – or screaming – and to keep him from seeing all the ponies that would stare at him. The last three words kept spinning around in his head. Stare at him. Stare. At him.
His mind already pictured wild things. How many of these ponies out there would recognize him? Would her sister be around them? Maybe Fluttershy? She’d faint if she saw him like that, wouldn’t she? He pushed these thoughts aside for now. As much as not knowing what would happen would bug him, isolation could also be very blissful. You just had to figure out how to enjoy it…
The bridle went on him; Braeburn carefully strapped every part on it tight. The bit was indeed large. He was glad it wasn’t larger than this because he felt like a bit of this size could hurt his jaw after a while. It did a good job, after all, just like the blinders. His sight was limited to everything that was lying ahead of him. He could only see where he was heading to. In order to see the pleased smile Braeburn’s mouth formed, Braeburn had to trot in front of him and repeat it.
Big Mac knew how much fun his cousin had right now. He gained pleasure from doing this to other guys. And, sadly, Big Macintosh himself gained pleasure from being the victim of Braeburn’s torments – why else was he doing it if not for the pleasure the pain and the humiliation gave him?
“Almost done with your beautiful face. It’s a pity I didn’t bring any bows though. Maybe I should ask your little sister if she could lend me some. What do you think? I could even let her put them in your mane. Does that sound good to you?”
Big Macintosh hesitantly shook his head. He closed his eyes, already accepting another stroke. What followed was only laughter. No pain, just laughter.
“Well, well. No problem at all. Let me just quickly apply this and then I’ll work on the rest of your body. You got some pretty collars and saddles hidden in this barn!”
He grabbed the matching light pink reins and attached them to the bit. Tentatively, he pulled on them and led Big Macintosh through the barn, watching him and every step he took. Satisfied with his work, he went on to change the collar to the nicely polished one. The light brown complemented the pink outfit in an acceptable way. It wasn’t pink, but didn’t look to bad next to the bridle.
He put a saddle on Big Macintosh who was unable to see which one it was. From its weight though, he presumed it was the one with many ornaments – the fanciest the Apples owned. What Braeburn was doing next was something that took long. Big Macintosh had no clue this time what was going on. He wanted to complain that they’d be late for the festival.
When he tried to speak, the bit reminded him that he wasn’t allowed to. He whimpered a bit. A crupper, pink again, was the last thing that went on him. With this, Braeburn took his saddle bags, put everything nicely inside and also attached them to Big Mac. He took a rather large butt plug out of them and presented it to him. The design resembled that of a carrot.
“This is going inside you now. Up to the base of course. No complains or you’ll get the crop.”
A feeling of fullness slowly soaked through Big Mac’s body. He realized that his tail remained in a semi-raised position. If anypony took a closer look at him, he…
The cracking whip interrupted his thought. Braeburn trotted off, leading Big Mac right behind him. The party was starting.

Where in the world was Shining Armor hiding? Twilight wanted to spend time with him this night! Not that she would have had time for that, but maybe there would have been a moment for both to have some fun. Now where? Where was he? She didn’t see him since he left her library with Rarity for a makeover. A few things were possible now. Perhaps he didn’t want to show her his outfit? Perhaps he went to see somepony else? Perhaps…he and Rarity…spent some time together…doing “things”? Her freshly married brother being seduced by Rarity. She couldn’t believe it. This couldn’t be true.
“Woah, Twilight, why are you so worried? This isn’t the right time for worries! Tonight, we’re going to drink so much cider that we either pass out or can’t move anymore. Here, have my mug. This is gonna make you smile!”
Twilight looked at Pinkie as if she just received a kindle from here as a present. As if Pinkie was handing out strange presents with questionable functions.
“Did you take a sip from this mug?”
“No. I mean yes. I mean…it wasn’t one sip!”
“Oh Pinkie…”
Twilight smiled and emptied the mug off the reel. The golden liquid cleared her throat and washed some of the worries away.
“See? This would make you smile is what I said and what do I see? You smile. Keep this face, it suits you! Oh, look over there! The queue is really short at this stall!”
With these words, Pinkie Pie disappeared. Twilight had to look for Princess Luna, she had almost forgotten about time. The sky was painted orange and lots of ponies had already gathered in front of the stage, where the band was still playing. The bells jingled on her magenta-colored dress. She was one of the few ponies wearing a vivid color tonight. Rarity had attached bells to her dress in memory of her Halloween costume.
“Besides”, the tag on the dress read, “it’ll make everypony aware of you being responsible for the festival so that everypony may show you some respect. You need to be recognized, darling.”
How could she protest anyway since she received the dress through somepony else? Not too long ago, Lucky gave the dress to her with “best regards”. She didn’t have time to complain, so she just put it on. With every step, her whole body jingled. Ponies turned their heads in order to see where the sound came from. A few ponies gave Twilight Sparkle a low bow, expecting her to be somepony special in the Royal Family that they never seen before. She remembered Rarity added this Tiara to her dress. Oh well…
Spike was sitting in the middle of Twilight’s library, playing card games with Spitfire when she entered her home.
“Hello, hope I’m not interrupting anything here, but Spitfire, what the hell are you doing here? Anyway, I couldn’t care less right now because I’m looking for the princess. I know, you haven’t seen her…thank you very much for your participation and good day!” She was about to turn around and leave again.
“Twilight, wait!” Spike looked up from his game. “Princess Luna is upstairs. And I’m playing card games with Spitfire because…”
“…I needed somepony to play poker with. Soarin is busy getting boozed and having fun with Apple Pie. Do you want to join? We’re not using real money…yet.”
Twilight looked at the situation with confusion and wonder. Spike. Poker. Spitfire. Poker. Spike. Spitfire. Poker. In her library. Gambling. Gambling in her library. With Spitfire. And Spike. Something about this stank, didn’t it? Anyway, Luna was waiting…
“No, thanks. I really gotta go get Luna. Don’t miss the sunset, guys. Or should I say the moonrise?” She dashed up the stairs, trying to erase the images she had just seen from her head.
“Luna! Hurry up; you’re gonna be late for the task you’re performing every day. Can you imagine that? I was just one single time tardy and it was horrifying, so come on!” She grabbed Luna’s hooves and pulled her down the stairs. It was then she realized that Luna looked really sick.
“Gosh! Are you experiencing stage fright? I have read about this in so many books! Just give your best and you’ll be alright! I trust in you, Princess.” Did she just say “alright”? The way Luna rolled her eyes woke doubt in Twilight and her words. Also, this white couldn’t be her natural coat color…the princess was about to faint!
“Oh…this…is bad! And I only know one solution to this problem…”
Twilight Sparkle slammed the door to her library open. As it had always been tonight, all eyes were immediately on her. She scanned the crowd, eyes wide open, depicting a look of both worry and insanity at the same time. Her heavy panting added to this obscure scene. Suddenly, she stopped looking around and did nothing for a moment before she burst out in a shout of deafening volume: “PIIIIIIIINKIE!”
“Yes?” Pinkie Pie appeared behind her rump, bending her head in a way that almost allowed her to see Twilight’s face.
“I need your help! Quick!” She pushed Pinkie Pie into her library and locked the doors, leaving all the observers standing outside with blank faces. No one dared to move.
It was a good thing Pinkie Pie always had sweets with her. She saved the day with simple candy; only because Twilight had read in a book that sweets are the cause of horrible toothaches and are also really fattening – and if there was one thing she hated, it was a visit to the dentist. In other words: Twilight refused to keep sweets at home and thus was incapable of treating hypoglycemia – a horrible disaster!
“Oh Twilight, you’re so silly!” Pinkie giggled. “You should have just given her this lollipop! See? You can clearly see how she’s getting better. Like that one time when we had this one pony at Sugar Cube Corner and he also was about to faint and didn’t order anything yet so we…”
“I think I get it; thanks a million, Pinkie Pie! You saved the night for tonight. But since you’re here, I wanted to ask you something. Wait. Are you even listening?”
She wasn’t. Pinkie was busy playing Poker with Spitfire and Spike; all three of them oblivious of their surroundings.
“Luna? Did you listen at least?”
“Yes, Twilight Sparkle. We are listening to thine voice.”
“Well, thanks. But I really need Pinkie Pie to ask something, so…I’ll accompany you to the stage in a minute, alright?”
Again, she considered to shout Pinkie’s name as loud as she could, but she just decided to leave it. She had a better idea, something that would make sure she got the attention she needed. Her horn started to glow in a light purple, then Spitfire’s playing cards magically lifted themselves into the air before they began to circle the room.
“Hey! I was about to get a Royal Flush”, yelled Pinkie.
“Royal Flush? No way! I had that”, Spitfire yelled back.
“Did not!”
“Did too!”
“Did not!”
“Did too!”
“Would you please cut that crap? Pinkie, we gotta talk!”
“Oh, do we?”
Twilight facehoofed. “Yes. Just tell me if you’ve seen my brother anywhere! I can’t find him. I thought we’d spend some time together, but he just…disappeared. This is making me really sad. Don’t tell me he’s getting laid with Rarity! Of all the worst things that could happen…”
“…the best thing happened! I know where he is and what he did!”
“You do?”
“Yes, he’s been at Rarity’s place, you know? And she dressed him up!”
“Pinkie, I knew that...” Twilight grunted, annoyed by her pink friend. “Where did he go then? Up to Rarity’s bedroom?”
“No, silly. He went to the spa of course!” Pinkie giggled once again. This seemed to amuse her a lot for some reason.
“Okay, to the spa. And he’s still there?”
“Are you crazy? Of course not! Twilight, sometimes I just can’t understand you.”
“But where is he? You said you knew where he is!”
“Oh, I know where he is. See, after he went to the spa he went back to Rarity! After all, she was the one in charge of making him look good tonight. Right? So she had to give her okay before sending him off. I hope she did a great job; after all he gotta look good tonight!”
“You’re not trying to tell me he’s running around somewhere out there, do you?”
“Nah, I guess he’s already with Braeburn and Big Macintosh.”
“Uh…okay. Thanks for the info, Pinkie Pie. Just keep playing, folks! But don’t miss the moonrise!” Twilight’s horn stopped glowing. The cards dropped on the floor, scrambled all across the floor.
“Princess Luna? Time to go! Your subjects are waiting!”
What the hay did Pinkie just mean by that? Whatever it was, she was determined to find it out. This was her night with Shining Armor; no Apple pony could ruin this – what did Shining want to do with these guys anyway?

Shining Armor trotted through the darkest alleys of Ponyville. Every step he took was accompanied by a loud clopping sound that made him really nervous. His hooves! Just his hooves…
Way too often, he turned around to check if somepony was watching him, following him or…worse…recognizing him! He was wearing stuff in public he would rather not want to wear. He wore hoof polish too. His hair! He wore bows in it. All in all, he much more looked like a mare than a stallion, true, but still ponies could recognize him – his job as the Captain of the Royal Guard was at risk! He just wished he wasn’t this hungry right now. No time to stop by somewhere, it was too risky.
Soon, Shining Armor reached a crossing. Ahead of him was lying the stage, right after the road he stood on, taking a bend. It was obvious he couldn’t keep walking that way. First of all he wasn’t alone, then this stupid fact that he was dressed like a call girl and, he knew it, others were seeking for him. The left turn looked rather empty, so he went that way. It was really dark in the alley and nothing bad was hidden in it. So it seemed, at least. When he heard a loud noise while he was walking through this dead alley, the white unicorn almost wetted himself. A little bit later, he found out that he was scared of a trash can he had kicked against. With new courage built up, he kept walking – straight into a couple making out. He decided not to bother and just keep walking. The cutie mark this one mare had looked familiar though. Grapes? Surely he had seen it somewhere before today.
At the end of the alley, Shining found himself at a much busier street. It ran parallel to the last one. The only difference between the two roads would have been that the one the white stallion was on right now wouldn’t lead to the stage – at least not directly.
“Oh, ain’t I lucky. This is the street where we’re meeting. I made it.”
One suspicious look, then he kept on trotting down the road he was on now. It was rather busy, so he focused on the ground this time. His cheeks were soon painted with a light pink, slowly becoming darker. Feeling embarrassed was nothing new to him, still…so many ponies? This was a little bit different. Canterlot was less busy than this most of the time!
At the next crossing, he looked up, straight into the eyes of a gray-coated stallion.
“Shining Armor? Is that correct?”
The nervousness Shining’s counterpart showed made it obvious – this was the pony he was looking for.
“Pleased to meet you. Lucky, I suppose?”
The other stallion nodded.
“Rarity helped me choose my outfit, if you already wondered. We’re waiting for the others, right? Either way, we shouldn’t miss the moonrise!” Shining pointed into the alley to his right, where a part of the stage could be seen.

Lucky was a fine guy. A really fine guy. There was just one thing about him that bothered Shining: He was really reserved, which could be interpreted as cute, but a not-so-nice part about this guy was the fact that he didn’t enjoy himself. He didn’t feel comfortable in his situation. Neither did Shining Armor at the moment, but he had the right to feel this way. Who was dressed in lingerie here? At least he could get Lucky to talk.
They both had a very light conversation about all the world and his brother. When they started discussing cider, Shining emphasized how thirsty he was. His plan worked: Lucky totally understood the situation he was in and went to get two mugs. He returned just in time for the Mayor that would announce the star guest of this event in just a second. But first, she couldn’t resist and had to thank everypony involved in this Cider Festival, advertise the new city hall project which still wasn’t properly funded and other things nopony really seemed to care about.
“Is she always like that? This is my first visit to Ponyville. Not that I’d know all of the ponies here, especially not a Mayor who’s too busy with…with what exactly?”
“She’s busy being the perfect mayor. It’s her special talent to talk a lot and to pretend that you’re responsible for organizing practically everything. You should come here next Winter Wrap Up! Or Halloween! All she does is talking, all the time; while others are doing her work.”
They clinked glasses and took a deep sip of their hard cider before Lucky continued.
“What you said about not knowing ponies here: I guess it’s always like this. You meet, or you go somewhere to meet, but the ponies you see everywhere are strangers you might never see again. You’re a stranger among strangers and no one dares to talk to you and you don’t dare to talk to them. I’m glad I know a few ponies here actually. We’re both Canterlot-ians…but I was talking about being strangers in Ponyville, okay? I know who you are and stuff. Still, that doesn’t count. I meant here in Ponyville; I know Carrot Top, I know the Apple family, there’s Caramel, we got Pinkie Pie that knows everypony…well, yes. Not too many ones. But the ones I know; it explains why I’m here: Big Macintosh invited me! And I got to visit him all alone. It was really sweet of my girlfriend not to come with me. She said this was something for guys, so she went on a wellness weekend with a few friends to Manehattan. Really sweet. Yes. Sweet of her.”
Shining observed how Lucky lowered his head and flattened his ears. Something was in the air tonight. Hopefully, this didn’t escalate. Shining was married, yes. Lucky had a girlfriend. He knew what this was about but Lucky, he was pretty sure, had an okay. Otherwise he wouldn’t be here.
“Lucky, I’m…”
“Hey there!”
A loud voice interrupted the two stallions. The familiar sound of the voice behind them visibly made Lucky cringe. Indifferent to the sound, which was devoid of any connotations to Shining Armor, he turned around. To be honest, he didn’t expect what he saw. This was way better. A golden coat shimmering in the little bit of sunlight that was left; perfectly rounded hips and it also looked like this stallion was well-endowed.
“Hey…I guess we were waiting for you.” Shining Armor gazed into the handsome stallion’s eyes for a moment before he caught sight of the reins in Braeburn’s mouth. Now he was sure that he and Lucky were definitely waiting for him – and he sensed worse things to come. Of course, he was right.
Behind the oh-so sexy guy stood another one, blushing heavily. His head was lowered, his outfit spoke volumes what all this was about and still, the red stallion being humiliated was excited, as Shining could see when he spotted the flaccid, drooling cock between the two legs strong enough to tear a house down with a single buck. In front of Shining’s eyes, the events that were soon to happen flashed by. In his minds, thousands of situations and possibilities started to spin around. He felt dizzy and hot.
“Are you okay, partner?” Braeburn smirked. Another victim, a really great one too. This white stallion would provide lots of fun for him. “I’m Braeburn from Appleloosa. This is my cousin Big Macintosh. Say hi, cuz! Oh right, you can’t!”
He patted Big Mac’s head.
“She’s such a great little bitch. You cannot imagine how obedient she is when dressed like this. I see somepony else dressed accordingly, just in light blue. I like your taste, …”
“Shining Armor. Actually the Captain of the Royal Guard. Don’t spoil this or we’re both dead!”
“Understandable. What about this guy?” He pointed at Lucky, or better said Lucky’s plot since he didn’t dare to turn around yet.
“That’s Lucky. He’ll complete the team for tonight. Am I right?”
Lucky gulped, then turned around and looked into Braeburn’s eyes.
“Yes. True.” After the words had passed his lips, he instantly looked away.
Braeburn wasn’t sure if this guy was shy, rude or simply uncomfortable with his presence. One thing for sure though: He’d bang him all night long, just like this Captain guy and his cousin. So hard that he’d scream his name and beg for more. Oh, it was on tonight. This was going to be the best night ever and nothing would stop him from plowing these delicious assholes hidden under the tails of these three guys. If they were nice and obedient, he might allow them to guzzle his cum afterwards. He wasn’t entirely sure about that yet; still Big Macintosh was on the right way for this at the moment. As designated, Twilight brought the Princess to the stage; her thoughts still wandering.

“What was going on in Rarity’s Carousel Boutique earlier? You went there with Shining Armor. I haven’t seen my brother since then! He disappeared! Do you think him and Rarity…?”
“Oh dear Twilight, we doubt this happened. Shining Armor is a married man and devoted to both his work and wife! We cannot imagine him and Rarity breaking the holy bond! Otherwise, we honestly don’t know where your brother is hiding. We got fabulous shoes from Rarity and then left. We don’t know what happened to Shining Armor after this.”
“Hmm…I guess I should stop worrying right now. Do you still remember what you have to do and say?”
“We are convinced we do. For helping us with our stage fright we still got to express our gratitude. Can we offer you something? A mug of cider?”
“Eh, why not…”
“WE, THE PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT, ARE THIRSTY! WE DEMAND CIDER!”
One short moment later, tons of ponies offered Luna their mugs. She took a full one, most likely because the pony that formerly owned it, didn’t drink from it yet.
“This shall suffice. Be gone with you.”
Twilight, slightly irritated, took the mug by courtesy. Then the two ponies continued on their way to the stage.

Lucky made his relief evident by a sigh. The Mayor Mare was done talking; Luna was being called on the stage. Braeburn yawned.
“Boring stuff. Let’s go somewhere else.”
“I’m pretty sorry, but I gotta see this”, Shining remarked. “A captain knows his duties. The Princess deserves my respect. You might not care about this, but I am going nowhere.” He had to hold himself back so that he didn’t talk too loud accidentally. It was a bit risky to confront Braeburn in front of so many ponies.
“Either way, I got something for our Captain here. If you would please turn to me for a moment and hold still…” Out of his saddle bags, Braeburn pulled another harness – this time in generic colors. “It’s Big Mac’s old one. Not as pretty. Still, you should wear it. Now do me a favor and let me put this on. I don’t want to force you.”
His words froze Shining Armor to the spot. Strange, something about these words kept him from moving. Something held him against his will…was it Braeburn? He’s not a unicorn. How could that be possible?
“And here’s something special for you. I never go without this; I know it comes in handy from time to time!”
In his hoof, Braeburn held a ring and waved it in front of Shining Armor’s face, who didn’t have seen what Braeburn had been looking for in his bag. He was about to say something before he remembered that he couldn’t – just like Big Macintosh.
“You’re right, my dear. This ring will block your unicorn magic. You won’t mess with me tonight. Not now and not later.” He got closer to Shining and whispered in his ear. “I might let you keep it if you behave well. How does that idea sound?” This question was followed by a lick across Shining’s cheek, which caused him to blush deeply. “Now be a good boy.”
Braeburn pulled on the reins and made him lower his head. Lucky, who had been observing all these actions, turned his eyes that had been widened with terror away from the scene. How he would have loved to run away right now. He was too scared to do so, sadly. Besides, it was no use – Braeburn would get him anyway. For a moment he saw himself dressed the same way as the other two stallions. He decided to erase this thought from his mind and tried his best to focus on Princess Luna, standing on the stage.
A distraction. That’s what was needed now.

As Princess Luna’s horn started to glow with magic, her audience expressed their amazement and enthusiasm audibly. A ripple of similar noises went through the crowd as the moon began to rise behind the princess, painting her coat in a silvery glow that blended with the color of her dress and caused the gems on her dress to sparkle as bright as the stars in her mane; the whole scene resulting in loud cheers. The cheering persisted for a very long time; even after the moon had reached his highest point and the Princess had unfolded her wings, the audience couldn’t be appeased.
Unsure what to do next, Princess Luna didn’t dare to move until she heard Twilight’s voice: “Get off the stage! Come on! I know you’re wallowing in pleasure right now, these ponies all love you, but it’s enough!”
Full of excitement, Luna’s ears flopped. She grinned and ran off the stage. The cheering persisted for another ten minutes while she discussed things with Twilight Sparkle off stage – although the two mares couldn’t be seen, the crowd didn’t want to calm down yet; this was too sensational, too amazing and totally new for them. Four ponies decided to use this opportunity to disappear. They had other things planned for tonight.
“You were amazing, Princess! I’m so glad you agreed on doing this!”
Twilight wrapped her hoofs around Luna and gave her a big hug. The princess started to blush; irritated by this gesture of happiness, relief and affection she was unsure what was happening to her right now, so she just stood rigid with insecurity.
“Oh. Sorry. I know, that was awkward. Forgive me, Princess. I didn’t mean to do that really, I’m just so happy for you. Could we have another mug of cider together? I’d really like to do that. I’m proud of you!”
“We…we are unsure what to do, Twilight Sparkle.”
“Just wait. Come with me, this’ll be fun!” Twilight took the hoof of Luna and just went ahead, dragging the Princess behind her so that she had no chance but to follow.

Braeburn looked at Lucky who was still facing the now empty stage. It seemed like he wanted to blank out his surroundings.
“Hey! Hey Lucky! Look at me, man!” Slowly, Lucky turned to Braeburn. His eyes widened as soon as he saw Braeburn’s face again.
“Y-Yes? W-What’s up?”
Braeburn sighed. “I’ll get you a mug of cider. You need to calm down. Nothing to fear here. Oh, please pay attention to my two little bitches, okay? If they misbehave, feel free to hit them with this!”
He hoofed a crop to Lucky, which caused the gray stallion to stare at it for a moment before he took it from him, nodded and forced a smile. When Braeburn left, he turned to Shining Armor and looked him straight into the eyes, knowing his sight was limited to everything in front of him.
“H-Hey…are you okay, Shining A-Armor? I’m so s-sorry this is h-happ…happ-pening to you.”
He hugged Shining Armor and noticed that the white stallion tried to laugh. Shining dug the ground with his forehooves before bopping Lucky on the shoulder. He seemed…happy? Lucky was puzzled, so he approached Big Macintosh instead who was visibly drooling due to the huge bit in his mouth.
“Oh…I feel sorry for you, Big Macintosh. This was supposed your party, right? And now you’re dressed like this and…I wish this all didn’t happen.”
Big Macintosh shook his head, then perked up his ears and nearly put the same happy face on as Shining did before. Still, Lucky wasn’t comfortable with the situation and decided to caress him a bit. Affection was what he received in return: Big Macintosh reached out with his head and rubbed it against Lucky’s body, which woke a warm feeling inside of him – just the same one he felt when he had been with Wild Fire. What was she doing right now? No, no, he shouldn’t ask himself that. All that counted is that he was starting to get comfortable with his situation. He knew Big Macintosh was a sweet pony; although he was quite manly as Lucky was, he had a good soul, was friendly and a good lover when you needed one, which was why Lucky tried to make him feel good whenever he could.
Aware of the possible trouble his current actions could cause, Lucky freed himself from Big Mac and trotted back next to Shining Armor, who didn’t get the chance to observe the scene. Lucky gave him a kiss on the cheek before he stood up straight, waiting for Braeburn to return. He arrived with two mugs of cider and two shot glasses.
“You probably wonder what’s up with this. It’s pretty simple, darling !”
Braeburn smirked as he pronounced the last word and slid one mug and a shot glass into his direction. Lucky almost shivered when he saw the facial expression. He bucked up and grabbed the shot glass. Of course, he had to drink. Somepony was trying to fuddle him and there was nothing he could do about it really.
“To the best night ever!” Braeburn raised his glass and so did Lucky.
The liquid, pouring down his throat, had a strong Apple taste and burned strongly. He assumed this was a drink of very high proof. He tried to keep his face straight as good as he could. Braeburn raised his mug.
“Now let’s wash this down with a mug of delicious cider, shall we? Ad fundum!”
This time, he glared at Lucky who started to gulp down the cold, yellow liquid, not daring to stop the constant stream pouring down his throat, ignoring how his stomach revolted till the last drop of cider was gone. Braeburn looked pleased when Lucky hoofed him the mug back.
“Looks like we’re ready to party! I promise you, this will be great. No need to be afraid or nervous, we’ll take it slow and easy.”
Braeburn leaned forward and whispered into his ear: “You’ll love it. You like cocks, right? I bet you also love to get fucked. That’s what you came here for. Because you love stallions…don’t you?”
Lucky remained speechless, trying to process what he just heard. Braeburn didn’t wait for an answer and went on: “Listen to me now. I’ll take Big Mac by the reins and you’ll have Shining Armor all for yourself. Sounds mighty fine, doesn’t it? We’ll lead them across the streets to the barn where we’re going to have fun tonight. Put on a happy face; be proud you’re allowed to lead Shining! I don’t wanna hear anything bad from this guy when we free him from the harness later. Alright? Then let’s go!”
Again, without waiting for an answer, Braeburn took Big Macintosh’s reins and started trotting away. Lucky did the same, trying to keep up with Braeburn. Every hoofstep, every clopping sound it produced, made him nervous. Around the next corner, they’d be in public. All eyes would be on them. He closed his eyes and opened them again. They were standing in one of the crowded streets. His back was being pierced with gazes, he could feel it. He started to gallop until he was next to Braeburn.
“Mighty fun, right?” the country pony laughed.
Lucky didn’t know why he was always so happy. Everything seemed like a game to him. He wasn’t sure about that though. You couldn’t be sure about anything when you met this pony, he concluded. He was unpredictable. The only thing that was set in stone was that Braeburn was one of the gayest stallions he ever met.
“Do you know what’s even more fun? Showing off!” With these words, Braeburn pranced and let out a loud “YEEEEEHAW!” before he kept on walking and started to shout around. “How lovely, spectators! Take a look at my lovely filly I got here with me! She’s my one and only, the pride of my stall! And tonight is gonna be a special night for us!”
Lucky’s face turned into a deep red. He looked at Shining and Big Mac, that both blushed as heavily as him, both keeping their head low in order not to be recognized. Lucky hesitantly smiled at a few ponies that made way for the four. Sweat started to run down his coat. As nervous as he was, he feared passing out soon. He increased his pace to get away faster. If there only hadn’t been Braeburn, grabbing on his tail and forcing him to halt!
“My, my…no need to rush. Enjoy it! Enjoy showing everypony what a lovely mare you got with you tonight! Later, there’s time enough for us to have fun at the barn, Lucky.”
Both continued their way, Shining and Big Mac right behind them. Stupid, sexy Braeburn and not-so-confident Lucky were leading two “mares” right into the direction of Sweet Apple Acres, where the four would have the ride of their lives – both as the rider and the one being ridden.

For the Princess, a few ponies decided to give up their table. She and Twilight were now sitting all alone at their table reserved for the royal pony. Twilight Sparkle banged her head on the desk.
“Ugh…I feel so bored. Who knew that ponies have so much respect for the royal family? I appreciate that and I’m sure you do too, Princess, but we got no one else to talk to. I wish this’d be more exciting.” She started to play with her mug, pushing it from the one side of the table to the other. “Not even drinking cider is fun anymore. I wish Shining Armor would come out of the closet he was hiding in right now, waiting to scare me.”
“Hey Twilight!” Two big, green eyes stared into hers, surrounded by a coat that resembled marshmallows. “Whatcha’ doin’ here all alone with Princess Luna?” the filly staring at Twilight squeaked.
Moving her head a bit from the other face and turning her head, Twilight recognized who was standing next to her.
“Sweetie Belle, what do you want here, all alone at a big event like this?”
“Oh, I’m not alone! I’d never crusade all alone!” Grinning, Sweetie Belle introduced the other two CMC members that were hiding behind her.
“Cutie Mark Crusaders Cider Festival Boozers! Yay!” The three fillies were about to run away when Twilight held Sweetie Belle back.
“Not so fast. Did you see Rarity somewhere? Or my brother?”
“Your brother? Shining Armor?” Sweetie Belle tilted her head. “No, we haven’t seen him. We were doing lots of crusading tonight and haven’t seen him again after you and him visited us.”
She paused for a moment and looked down. When she looked up, a smile painted her face.
“I’ve seen Rarity though! She’s on her way to meet Hoity Toity! Hurry if you wanna catch her. Bye!”
Again, Twilight grabbed Sweetie Belle’s tail when she tried to run off.
“One more thing, fillies. No alcohol for you. Alcohol is bad for you and you can’t get drinking as a special talent! You won’t crusade for that. You don’t need to. Okay? You promise?”
“Promised!” the three fillies chanted and disappeared as fast as they came.
“Princess? Would you like to come with me or stay here? I’ll be right back, just wanna ask Rarity. Is that fine?”
“Feel free to follow your duties, Twilight Sparkle. We will be waiting for you!”
“Thanks a million, Princess!”
After emptying the rest of her cider, Twilight ran off, bumping into every pony that was in her way. She had to find Rarity, it was her mission. This night would be fun! And it was going to be fun after Rarity told her where her brother was. Little did she know that he was entering the barn right now with three other stallions that seemed to have vanished from the festival.

She looked around as things started to look familiar until she realized where she was standing right now and where she had been walking. This was great! Whoever was up there, she’d be able to get help from this pony. Excited, she knocked at the barn door. A sleepy Apple Bloom opened the door.
“Twalai’? It’s in the middle of the night!”
“Oh praise Celestia, it’s you, Apple Bloom! I need your help.”
“Help? At night? At Sweet Apple Acres?”
“Yes, please tell me you got a flashlight at home!”
“A…what now?”
“Just give me something that produces light. Like this candle!” Twilight pointed at the candlestick Apple Bloom had been carrying around with herself.
“Are ya sure ‘bout that? This’ the only thing we got handy right now! Besides, ah still gotta pee as bad as I had to when I woke up a minute agoooooooo…” Apple Bloom whined and fidgeted in front of Twilight.
“Oh! Sorry. Just tell me, do you know where Big Macintosh could be? I’ve been looking for him everywhere,” Twilight Sparkle started to get really nervous when Apple Bloom gave her a confused look, “…because of cider! Yes! We need more cider!”
Twilight’s lie was rewarded with a smile and the answer she wanted: “Well, I ain’t tellin ya too much, I hope…Ya know, there’s this very small barn, just walk west from here on. It’s behind the last hill. Big Macintosh’s secret barn, I discovered it once all alone. He’s hangin’ out there once’n a while.” She squinted at Twilight. “This stays a secret, right?”
“Uhm…sure! And thanks! I just gotta keep walking west?”
“Exactly, ya can’t miss it.”
“Thanks, Apple Bloom. Have a good night. You’re really good as gold!”
With these words, Twilight ran off, leaving Apple Bloom behind, all happy to hear how well she behaved in Twilight’s eyes.

Still craving for an apple, Shining got up from his spot in the corner of the barn. Maybe he wouldn’t get some more Braeburn for tonight. Maybe also no Big Macintosh. At least there was still a chance he’d get some of this Irish Luck. A four-leafed clover sounded almost as delicious as an Apple…not as juicy, but sure great tasting! His hazy mind kept Shining from moving all too fast towards spit-roasted Lucky, now with a slightly different filling at each end. While watching the scene in front of him, the Captain of the Royal Guard grew hard again; forgetting his wife and his duties. He wanted clover. He wanted some luck.
“Say, cuz…” Braeburn broke the silence to have a casual conversation while he satisfied his sexual needs. “Where did you find such a well stallion? Just look, he doesn’t even know who or what he is anymore! He just lets it happen.”
“That’s a big secret.” Big Macintosh grinned wide. Always being the reserved one, he felt right now like he had to crack some jokes. The moment seemed right; everyone slowly lost his mind in here and he probably was no expection…so why not jokes?
“I’m meaning it. How do you know Lucky?”
“Uhm…that’s sort of a longer story, but let’s say his girlfriend…perhaps ex-girlfriend by now…” He laughed at his own joke while Braeburn stared at him in annoyance.
“Go on?”
“Yes, so…Wild Fire is friends with Rainbow Dash who is friends with Applejack who’s my sister. Do you get that? I guess you do.”
“You’re so funny tonight, cousin. I can hardly believe it”, remarked Braeburn and rolled his eyes before he concentrated back on the muzzle in front of him. He wasn’t quite done yet.
“Ah, the cutie mark!” thought Shining Armor as he recognized three green things in front of him. How far had he come that he didn’t even know how clover looked? This was going to be his last orgasm for tonight...he had to draw a line somewhere after all, he was a responsible stallion!
The clover didn’t taste as good as he expected. Not that he had ever really tasted a cutie mark, but couldn’t a cutie mark taste like the real thing? No? Well, he knew something almost as good as clover. Shining gave the cutie mark one last lick and crawled under Lucky, where a fully erect horsecock was waiting for him, preeing the same way as it did the whole night so far. Without hesitation, Shining got to work, only to wake feelings in zoned out Lucky again.

At the last hill that belonged to Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight had a magnificent view over Ponyville, which looked like a miniature of itself on a very busy day, and its surroundings. As she had presumed, all light gathered indeed in Ponyville, where everything looked as bright as if it was a sunny day. She was convinced this had something to do with magic. It must have been Luna that concentrated the moonlight and the glow of the shining stars on Ponyville! She was definitely a strong mare if she was able to perform a type of magic so powerful over an extended time, like, in this case, a whole night! For a moment, Twilight felt sentimental. She sat down in the grass as the glow that her horn had emitted throughout her odyssey to a barn that probably didn’t even exist slowly dimmed itself. Darkness embraced Twilight while she started to lose herself in thoughts. It didn’t take her long to remember though why she was here. In her moment of realization that her brother might be lost already (Twilight had lost completely track of time during this evening), she noticed something odd behind her – nothing more than a faint shimmer, but enough to assure her that she was where she wanted to be. That was the barn, right next to her! Just down this hill and she couldn’t miss it. Completely forgetting to make her horn glow again, she galloped, no, fell down the hill and landed in front of the barn door; one inch away from where her brother was hiding.

Cider was nothing for men. Men drank cum. Convinced by this statement, Shining milked the liquid he was thirsty for out of Lucky; watched him squirm as Lucky got back to life and shot loads of cum down Shining’s throat. More and more, Lucky felt uncomfortable in his position: The pleasure was nice, but since he had realized he was stimulated from every end, worry grew deep inside himself. What was he doing here, filled from every end to the max? Gagging on Braeburn that had his member buried fully inside him, the perverted stallion started to be rougher with him. Lucky choked hard, but couldn’t free himself; locked at the other end into position by Big Macintosh, the strongest pony he knew that wasn’t quite as insensitive, yet demanding what he wanted. This night had been…odd, to say the least and he terribly regretted doing Big Mac “a simple favor”. The only thing he really enjoyed was Shining underneath him. He had been his Shining Armor, got him back to sanity. Just…how did he get into this position? He couldn’t remember anything about the last minutes…or hours? Lucky couldn’t tell.
The sudden end of this night was close. Somehow, everyone sensed it; including Twilight Sparkle in front of the door, about to open it. Deep breaths calmed her down, the cold night air added to that. This door parted her BBBFF from her. This door would fix everything just by being opened. Everything was down to this door; the entire night depended on it. Twilight gulped…and knocked, as polite as she was, before she unlatched it.

Braeburn pulled himself free in a split second. Lucky coughed; his face covered in sweat, tears, drool and cum summed this night up perfectly. Every normal pony would have helped Lucky out of his misery now, would look after him and ask if he got hurt during the last minutes…or hours. Nobody could say for sure how long he had been in this position. Unfortunately, it was Braeburn who had tormented him, even on purpose after he started to squirm, spit, cough and choke; and so, poor Lucky was just left in his position. Big Macintosh was still taking him from behind, forgetting to thrust as he, as well as Braeburn, heard three knocks outside.
A whisper would have been too loud for this situation. Everypony froze to the spot and tried to be as quiet as possible. A familiar sound of the latch being opened could be heard. Panic started to rise inside each of the four stallion. The whole situation screamed: “Busted!”
One pony knew exactly how to fix this situation. It hadn’t been the first time he almost got caught; all these stallions he banged had taught him the one or other thing…

“Shining? BBBFF? Are you-?”
A deep silence fell. It was the third time within a few seconds. Three knocks, the sound of the latch, a few words that stopped abruptly along with a few jingles from a creation by Rarity – Twilight wouldn’t be able to remember any of this as everything suddenly went dark.

“What in the world has gotten into you? Are you nuts? You can’t just knock out every single innocent pony that wants to enter our barn!”
“Well sorry cuz for being so smart to keep us from being busted! You know what? I’m done with you for today! I don’t need this!”
A dominant nature was a pride one and didn’t want to accept that it was wrong. When talked down, a pony with this type of personality left. Big Macintosh wished his cousin wasn’t so pigheaded, but Braeburn was just being all himself all of the time.
“Thanks a lot”, muttered Big Macintosh as he watched his cousin run out of the door. At least he had time to fix this without witty comments this way...
“Ok! No need to panic! Lucky. You first. You look like a wreck and probably are one right now – may I suggest you just lay yourself to sleep? Or maybe you could start tidying up this room. It looks like somebody dropped a bomb in here…”
Obediently, Lucky trotted off and started to pick up things from the floor.
“Now who do we have-TWILIGHT?” Since Braeburn had knocked out the gatecrasher for tonight, Big Macintosh didn’t find the time to take a closer look at who it was until now. Of all ponies, he didn’t expect Twilight here. She should have been busy organizing things for tonight; instead she was lying inside this barn and had taken this long walk from Ponyville to here although she was the only one responsible for tonight’s event. Applejack didn’t know anything about organizing, so she had left all of this to Twilight. Hesitantly, Big Macintosh scanned the purple mare for injuries, unsure what to do in this situation.
“She’s ok. His attack might not even leave a bruise. Oh, I’m really glad Braeburn didn’t hit her on her nose. Any idea what we should do with her?”
Shining Armor had a hard time to believe that his sister almost had walked in on him. He owed Braeburn, didn’t he? Then again, his sister got hurt by him. Shouldn’t he hate him for that? This was quite conflicting. But what to do with Twilight now? When Shining looked around, he saw a small messy room, an exhausted pony trying to tidy it up and a “bed” made of hay, still more or less intact. He couldn’t leave with Twilight right now, yet he had a plan what to do with her while they were here.
“Do you think she’s waking up again? I mean…sure, she got knocked out, but usually Twili’s asleep at this time and she had a busy day. So if she stayed asleep, we could just put her in your bed. Is that an idea?”
Big Macintosh thought for a moment before he nodded in agreement. “But you take the risk, alright? I don’t wanna be the pony doing the explaining in the end! Might get out of your outfit too, in case she wakes up…”
Together, both stallions put Twilight into the soft hay. She was breathing regularly and showed no sign of alertness. Shining Armor checked himself; while his coat was soaked and sticky, his clothing was practically fine, just the usual stains that spoke of a rough night. Big Macintosh helped Shining Armor out of his outfit and put it next to Twilight so Shining wouldn’t forget it later. Cleaning was next; both ponies helped Lucky to clean up the mess they made. Opening a door proved to be a mistake, though the air was refreshing it was too chilly to make the three stallions feel comfortable.
“Does anypony know what time it is?” Shining Armor asked when he took a look at the night sky before closing the barn door.
“Nope, sorry. Why do you ask?” Big Macintosh apologized.
“It’s pitch-dark outside. There are stars, there’s the moon, but it seems like no light is emitted by them. And I’m a bit worried, it could be close to the break of dawn and we all haven’t slept! Plus there’s my sis right next to us…I just…don’t know what to do. This is hard to process.”
“I hear ya there. Come on, let’s sit down together. I can fix this all by myself later; you really don’t have to help. Let’s talk about tonight and our plans for tomorrow.”
Big Macintosh had already sat down before he finished talking. Lucky joined him, but still kept quiet, just like he did since he had been blackmailed by the others. Not having a better idea, Shining finally sat down too and perked up his ears – light snoring assured him that Twilight had faded from her unconscious state into a light slumber. Relived, he turned to the quiet one in the group.
“Lucky…I don’t know how you’re feeling right now, but I feel sorry for doing all this to you. I had no other choice than to push you into this; assuming you had permission from your girlfriend rather than asking you about it was foolish of me.”
“I can only second what Shining Armor said. I’m sorry that I asked you for doing me a favor. I bet you knew what you were up to when you agreed, but you were really scared tonight. I hope we can stay friends. Oh, and please say something. You didn’t say anything tonight since our little incident.”
Lucky opened his mouth, but no words came out. He coughed. Coughed again. Then he started to speak with a soft voice: “I’m thankful for your kind words, but I think I’m alright. This was sort of…interesting to do. I’m just…feeling so weird. Sore. I’m parched. I feel really dry and empty inside. This is all a bit much for me right now.”
“Do you have an idea where you are going to stay tonight?” Big Macintosh seemed worried about his friend that still looked as miserable as he did shortly before this all had ended.
“Sadly…no.” Lucky regretted not thinking this day through properly. He had expected everything to be different, now he was left unprepared.
“Gotcha’. I’ll spend the night with you then, we can share a bed. I’ll spirit you away in the morning when it’s time for you to go. You can also wash yourself at my place. Does that sound nice?”
Lucky silently nodded; talking just didn’t feel right to him tonight.
“Let’s not worry about Braeburn; he’ll do whatever he wants anyway. So, what had just been said: Lucky’s coming with me for the night. Tomorrow, I’m getting him out of the house so he can get on his train and head back home. What about you, Shining?”
Shining Armor had to stifle a yawn before he could answer. As tired as he was, he wasn’t sure if he would get sleep tonight.
“I think it’s the best if I go home and take Twilight with me. Thankfully, she fell asleep so maybe I find a way out of this tomorrow…not sure how much she is going to remember and how well I can lie to her. She shouldn’t know about this, I think you understand. She’s my sister . That’s like…Applejack walking in on us!”
Exactly like Shining had thought, Big Macintosh cringed when he heard the name of his sister. “Speaking of sisters…” thought Shining to himself and took a look at Twilight that just lay there, still breathing slowly, probably dreaming of something nice…so he hoped at least.
“Well, I better get going! I need to put my sis to bed! Thank you for this quite special night.” The three stallions exchanged hugs before Shining put his saddle back on, saddled Twilight up with the help of his two friends, grabbed the lingerie he got from Rarity and headed to the door. He stopped before he opened it and turned around one last time.
“Before I forget it, Big Mac…would you mind if I brought Lucky to the station for you? I gotta do that with Luna anyway since Twili’s gonna be still asleep by the time she leaves. That’d be nice, I guess. You do the barnwork, I sent Lucky back home. How does that sound to you?”
“Sounds just fine, Captain.” Jokingly, Big Macintosh saluted. “Here’s hoping you return next year!”
“Haha…” Shining Armor looked over his shoulder as he left the barn and winked at Big Macintosh, “…maybe!”
Cold wind was blowing over Sweet Apple Acres. It was a pitch-dark night though the stars were shining bright. A pony was trotting through the darkness, heading back to Ponyville. The sleeping mare on the back of this pony with shining, white coat snored softly – though she was given a good shaking, nothing disturbed her quiet slumber right now. Like two western heroes, both ponies descended from the last hill and reached Ponyville. As the sun rose behind them, the air started to feel fresh and moist: It was the feel of change.
The feel of new beginnings.
The feel of the end – the end of the best night ever.

What felt like just a second had been two hours of sleep. Feeling half-dead right now, Lucky took a shower with Big Macintosh. Cold water woke Lucky fully up and rinsed his coat from various body fluids, dirt and sticky cider. There was just one thing that couldn’t be treated with water and some soap: His mind. The same thoughts went through his head, just the same ones as those before he went to bed. Just the same ones as in his dream. Even the coffee he got from Big Macintosh couldn’t stop him from thinking…
“You seem worried, my friend.”
Lucky looked up from his coffee. He had been staring into his mug for quite a while.
“Do you think so? I’m sorry. I’m just confused.”
Disappointed by Lucky’s reply, Big Macintosh left the room and entered the kitchen. He returned with two steaming-hot apple strudels.
“Does that cheer you up? Now tell me what’s really up, Lucky.”
Before Lucky answered, he stared out of the window for a while. He spoke without turning back to Big Macintosh.
“This may sound wrong, but…I gotta break up with Wild Fire. I won’t tell her what happened, not exactly. I’ll just tell her that we can’t be together because…because I know this cannot work out. I just can’t be with her anymore…”
“Is this because of…?”
“Yes. And no. I’m just starting to feel different inside. Ok? Now please leave me be.”
Big Macintosh sighed. “Fine. Now eat up, you gotta go soon.”
Both ponies silently munched on their hot treats. Meanwhile, a baby dragon was already awake and up to something.

“Spike! Get outta here or you’ll wake her up!” Shining Armor caught Spike crawling onto Twilight’s bed and scolded him instantly. His whispers had changed nothing about his authority, so Spike obediently jumped back and ran down the stairs; passing Shining Armor and a sort of confused Princess that wanted to look after Twilight as well.
“What is the matter with you? You cannot just…climb over us!”
“Shhhhh…” Coming down the stairs now as well, Shining Armor shushed the Princess of the Night and shoved her down the stairs. Inside the main room, he enlightened her and the now grumpy baby dragon.
“I had to bring her home personally since she fell asleep on her quest to find me. Poor sis…she really was looking for me…”
“I’m not sure if we can trust you there. Or should I say ‘thrust’?” Spike giggled and jabbed Luna’s sides. “Right, Princess?”
“Just what is the matter with you today, Spike?” The princess hissed, this time significantly less loud than last time. She continued, now speaking extra softly because of Twilight sleeping upstairs. “In some way, we have to agree with Spike. What Twilight said sounded…not pleasant to our ears. Are you being unfaithful?”
“No. No, I promise. This was a bit different. I’m sorry I can’t explain this to you. But trust me, Twilight saw nothing wrong tonight. And trust me as well when I say that Cadance will be fine too. Now leave Twilight alone while I bring the Princess to the station, Spike. It’s time to go.”
“Ugh. Whatever you say, Captain…”
Spike stomped into the kitchen, probably to get himself ice cream to let some steam off. Since Shining Armor wasn’t the one to judge, he went ahead and opened the door for the Princess. Both left the room; leaving the library and the baby dragon behind themselves while discussing the events of last night.

“Do you think he forgot me?”
“Nah. If you don’t want to wait any longer, we could already leave together and meet him in the middle. What do you think?”
Yes, what did he think? What was Lucky thinking? He wasn’t thinking about going home right now, to say the least.
“Lucky? You there?”
“Yes! Yes, let’s go!” Startled by Big Macintosh, Lucky replied with a “yes”, uncertain what Big Macintosh had actually said. Soon, he thought himself in front of Sweet Apple Acres, on his way down to Ponyville; next to him walked the red country pony.
“So what about Braeburn? What happened?” asked Lucky curiously.
“Oh, don’t worry. Sleepin’ in somepony else’s bed. Wouldn’t even surprise me if his last date for the night was married and his wife is lying right next to the two! He never learns.”
“Maybe you should keep an eye on him?”
“Useless. Braeburn always gets what he wants and never listens.”
“Oh.”
When they had almost reached Ponyville, Lucky and Big Mac encountered a “royal couple”; one of the two noble ponies was the one they had been looking for.

Wildly amused, Princess Luna watched the two stallions walking ahead of her. She knew what had been going on. Not only was she able to see it in the gray stallion’s eyes, Shining Armor had something that he couldn’t hide too. Something that proved what he had done. Should she tell him? Nah…there was only one pony she would tell about this and it certainly was not Shining Armor.
To say the least, this event had been delighting for Princess Luna; she didn’t remember having this much fun for quite a long time. The taste of cider had really been growing on her throughout the event. And poker! Why did nobody tell her about this little game earlier? She definitely had to play it again!
A quiet conversation in front of her caught Luna’s attention.
“Are you serious? Princess Luna? Couldn’t you have told me about this?”
“Lucky, it’s fine. Trust me on that. Just stop being so nervous and everything will be alright, besides, the train’s coming soon anyway and Luna gets her special cab so you won’t even have to talk to her! Come on! Smile for once.”
“No. I’m not in the mood…”
“Stubborn mule!”
Lucky chuckled. Nobody had ever called him that before.
“See? Now you’re smiling…”
Pleased, Shining Armor and Lucky continued on their way. At the station, a train was already waiting to depart to Canterlot.

Shining Armor carefully closed the library door behind him. With silent steps, he crept through the main hall until he bumped into Spike.
“Ouch! Watch where you’re going, Captain…” Spike grumbled. “And stop acting so quiet! She’s already awake!”
“She’s awake?” BBBFF grinned like a Cheshire Cat.
“Yeah, woke up like a minute-…huh? Shining? Ugh, this guy…”
Spike didn’t understand what was so special about Shining Armor. Didn’t even have the decency to let him finish a sentence…
A Twilight with a messy mane was the first thing Shining Armor spotted when he came up the stairs – she hadn’t gotten enough sleep and it was showing.
“Twilight!” The purple mare instantly got hugged by her caring brother. “I was worried!”
“You were worried? Really? You are the one that disappeared all of a sudden for no apparent reason!”
“Are you sure about that, Twilight? Don’t you remember us hanging out last night?”
“We were…hanging out?” As hard as Twilight thought, she only remembered seeking for her BBBFF last night. They didn’t spend a single minute together in her memory! “There’s no possible way we were hanging out, Shining. I’ve been seeking for you all night!”
“I know, I know. And then you found me. Just…how drunk were you last night? You could blame all this on the alcohol. We had quite some fun together, trust me!”
Shining Armor sounded so convincing; Twilight had a hard time not to believe him. There was just something else, something else that was kind of strange about yesterday…
“Do you…know what I dreamed about yesterday, big brother?”
“No idea, Twili! But you could tell me!” Shining Armor winked.
“I dreamed about you. You were doing what I had suspected all night. I think someone must have played tricks on me yesterday – Luna perhaps? She told me that this stupid Braeburn from Appleloosa, Applejack’s cousin, would be hitting on every stallion he met…including you. Then she sent me this dream in which this was all true and you were tied up and he was doing horrible things to you with some of his friends. I don’t even want to describe what it was! It was all so weird…”
“It was just a dream, Twili. Just a dream.”
“Just a dream. He must be right”, Twilight thought. “He would never lie to his own sister.”
“You’re probably right, big brother. Could you tell Spike to make me breakfast? You can keep me company then. If you don’t have to leave already.”
“Nah, I’m good for today. I promise we’ll have lots of fun, little sister!”
Shining Armor kissed Twilight on the forehead. Just then she noticed what was so odd about all this: Her brother was wearing a ring he hadn’t been wearing when he entered Ponyville. She decided to confront him about this when he returned from the kitchen to command Spike around.
“Who exactly did you get this ring from, Shining?”
“Huh? What-?”
Horse apples! The ring! He had forgotten to take it off!
“Uhm…just a fancy gift from Rarity! She said it suited me.”
“Ah, ok.”
A ring used to block unicorn magic as a fashion statement. This stank! Or not? Had Twilight had a bad dream last night? Or was this ring not a gift from Rarity? Did Braeburn have something to do with this? And what about this headache she got? There was only one pony that would know all the answers to all these questions: Shining Armor himself.

Wow. I made it. This all started in August and of a simple idea that seemed too good to not be written down it turned into this lengthy piece. Now, looking back at what I did in October in March, it seems not quite the kind of story I wanted it to be. Still, this is my first pony-related written work ever and I think it turned out pretty well for a first!
