After a certain pony's Sonic Rainboom causes the Elements of Harmony to reverse and all of Equestria is turned wrong, a rift is torn between the royal sisters and Luna starts her own republic. Along with her come five of the mane six and many other ponies to foster the growth of this dark promised land.
