The Rise and Fall of the Grand ELDER's

Long ago, in a time long forgotten, Earth was ruled by a race known as Humanity. For thousands of years Humanity rulled and war'ed over it. They war'ed over many thing's from resources (like food, water, gold, iron, land, etc) to virtues like justice, honner, to culity,slavery, and genocide. Though Humanity war'ed for may different things, they had been blinded to their true purpose.

Unknown to Humanity, the Earth has gone through a cycle of witch a race called the Consumers ravage the Earth of all intelligent life. Part of the cycle involves the current race to chose a sucseser to continue the cycle. The current ruling race would prepare the next race so they might stop the Consumers before going to fight them them selfs. For some unknown reason (which will never be known why) Humanity was never warrned about the cycle and is posible that they whernt part of the cycle at all.

Wither or not Humanity was part of the cycle or not, the Consumers came anyways and decimated Earth and the human race. The Consomers experimented on the humans, trying to create the alltiment weapons. Only four made it through the program, they where all the Consumers ever wanted, but the four had other plans.

The four had been given great power. The Consumers unlocked the human brain so the four could use their full power. Each was unique in their own way and just as powerful as the others. They broke out of their prisons and waged a bloody war with the Consumers. After 65 years of fighting the Four had kicked the Consumers off world. The four felt horrible. Not only had 98% of all humaity been wiped out, but they knew that the Consumers would not stay defeated forever and would one day retearn one day. The Four vowed to guied the rest of Humanity to defending earth and rebiling some hope. These four became known as The Grand ELDER's. The ELDER's where Riley the elder of Defense and Arcana (being the one who taught the pony races their magical talents [Star Swearl the Bearded was his own protege]), Keven the elder of Knollige and Development (Keven was the one who developed the grand library which conains all the knollige ever recorded by its A.I which he developed to watch and record everything that happens on Earth so only the truth would be told), Adam, elder of Science and Death (who would become known as The Lord of Death and Destruction), and last, Kennedy, elder of Protection and Life.

The Grand ELDER's descovered many things had changed about them, such as the fact that they could not get sick and that they no longger aged. They also relised that they had more than one set of powers. ELDER Kennedy relised he had healing powers and used these powers to heal the ill and infected. Together the Grand ELDER's, with the help of the rest of humanity, rebuilt the Earth.

By the time the Earth was back to normal, 600 years had passed and the Grand ELDER's grew nervis as they feared the return of the Consumers, and so they decided that since no other centiant race was on earth, the ELDER's decided to creat one. The Grand ELDER's worked for many hundreds of years trying to develope a race of beings who they thought should take their place when they where gone. Many of the races known to Pony kind where created by the Grand ELDER's.

Finally they decided on the pony. The horse family had been man kinds friend sence the Neolithic era and knew they where the perfict chose. The ELDER's thought that there should be a few different types of ponys, and thuse created the pegasi and unicorn race'es. The idea was that each would have a important role and would have a talent that the other two would need,thus cooperating to helping each other out. The Earth pony's would grow food for the pegisi and the unicorn. The Pegisi would control the weather so the Earth pony's could grow and harvest the food for both them and the Unicorn, and the Unicorn protected the Earth pony's from the dangers of the world. Though the Grand ELDER's where part of the Pony's early development, the ELDER's felt that they where interfering to much and vowed to never interfere with the afare's of the ponys unless deemed necessary and/or a dire emergence.

As time went on the ELDER's focesed there atention away from their creations and started to develop new weapons to help defend not only Earth, but the ponys now too. They created many things from Rily's nearly invincible armor and weapons to the fortres built in the sky. Durring this time ELDER Kennedy keeped an eye on the pony's and grew worried as conflict was starting again. What Kennedy knew that the other ELDER's didnt know is that it had been over 1000 years sence they had left the ponys to their own devices and there had been three great wars all ending with horrible results. It was then that they also relised an unknown creature had been miniulating the ponys turning everything into chaos,thus naming it Discord. It was then that the Grand ELDERs would create another speiceas to help not only vanquish this menace, but to also help govern the pony races when they where gone. This new speices would be a mix of not only all three pony races, but also share the DNA of there creaters as well to obtain some of there power. They would be called the Alicorn.

The Alicorn where forged not only from the genetics of all three pony races, but each Alicorn shared the DNA of the ELDER that created them. What was surprising to them was that all four where born as female. Only Celestia(created by ELDER Riley), and Luna(created by ELDER Keven) where ready to face Discord and where sent to defeat this menace. ELDER Kennedy's took longer to make. When he finally created her, he named her Cadence. Cadence was unique even by Alicorn standards. Unlike Celestia's power over the sun and Luna's power over the moon and night, Cadence's power was over the hearts of others. The other ELDER's said that her power worked on him because he dropped all other work to raise her himself. The truth was that she didn't use her powers on him at all. The years had taken its tole on him and Cadence was the only thing holding him together now, for he viwed her as his daughter and would rase her as one. So he disipeared from the others for a wile. ELDER Adam created Chrysalis but something went wrong and that was when things started to go bad fast.

ELDER Adam betrade the other ELDER's and was corrupted. ELDER Adam decided to go rouge and destroy everything the ELDER's and he helped create. First ELDER Kennedy came back to help. He devolved a shield system that was tied to them. So long as one Grand ELDER lived, the land now known as Equestria would be forever safe from the threats of the out side world. Secondly, The three remaining ELDER's decided that the only thing that cold be done was to destroy Adam.

Adam had been practicing some dark magics to form a army of demon like creatures and turned himself into a creature that best represented his corruption. So the next 400 years where spent fighting Adam and finally after all the years of fighting, finnaly defeated Adam and his demonic army. Chrysalis played no part in Adam' plot. The ELDER's where retearning home after 400 years of fighting hoping for peace and rest when they finnaly reatrned.

The Consumers had finally returned and in greater force than before more than 4000 years ago. The ELDER's wernt ready for the attack and both ELDER Keven and Riley fell to the Consumers onslot. It is said that ELDER Rily gave Kennedy the means to summon a indistructible, mecanical army. It is also said that Kennedy used this army to defeat the Consomers once and for all.

After Kennedy defeated the Consomers, he reaturned to Equestrea to find the pony foke scared and sadend from the many years of war and blood shed. Even Cadence was changed and sadend. Kennedy, not wanting to see his doughter sad any more and wanting to grant his doughter and his people peace, Kennedy used a great and powerful spell to erace the minds of all the beings in Equestrea and planted falce memorys in the place of the real one's. Kennedy wanted to feel remors that his doughter would be happy, but fell into a depresion due to not beingable to have contact with her, for if he did, it could unravle the speel and all would be remembered. And thus he watches over the Equestreans as the last ELDER, waiting for the time when he will be need'ed once again.

This was just an idea inspired by a dream i had a while ago. There might be some errors but let me know if this was good and if so then might do a few chapters and if not then it was a good one timer.
