Kingdom Hearts: From Descent and Corruption

I think I met my guardian angel. He emerged from nowhere during my time of need. I was crying like a child. I just wanted to protect the ones I cared about. Yet, I felt defeat. Today at school, I was unable to stop a bully. My friends needed me and I couldn't help them. I then realized the inevitability. No matter how much I tried, there will be a force that will stop me from doing what my destiny tells me to. At that moment, he emerged. This stranger knew the stress I was feeling. He wanted to help me overcome this weakness.

'Pity. You care so much for your friends, but even you know that something will take them away from you. A world even as pure as this will have some corruption. Something with more power will stop you. And when that time comes, you will fail to do what you say you do best. After all, Kindle, you are marked with that very duty.'

He was referring to my cutie mark. I took that time to look at it, a candlelight with a very radiant flame. I got that mark when I first fought against the stood my ground against, ironically, the same bully who I couldn't stop today. My cutie mark was a symbol of light.

'Such a strong-hearted unicorn. It is a shame that you go through so much trouble to delay the inevitable. Something with more power will stop you.'

Noticing the repetition in his statement, I knew he was onto something. I had to try to hold my tears back to speak. 'What ca-*sniffle*. What can I do? What can I do to truly protect them?'

'You must be the one with the most power. You must have enough power so that no force can stop you.'

His words were cryptic and unusual. To think of having so much power that no living creature can stand between me and my friends. I turned around to look at the pony, or perhaps he wasn't. He was standing on two legs. He wore a black coat that hid most of his body. His face was concealed by a hood. 'What is your name?'

'I am known by many names, but you will come to know me as Xehanort.'
