Rainbow
I was laying there, in that hospital. I couldn't move. I was that exhausted. I was dying, and I knew it. It was my time.
I had lived a good life. I had a loving mother and father. They both cared for me my whole life. They were everything to me.
I loved them and hugged them whenever I could. I loved them that much.
I remember when they waved goodbye to me as I got on the bus. It was my first day of school. It was the first time that they hadn't been with me.
I remember middle school. I had great grades, and lots of friends. I remember coming home and dashing up the stairs to show my mom my report card. I remember all the smiles she made when she saw that I had gotten all A's.
I remember graduating middle school, and coming home. When I got home, my mom and dad were standing there. There was a box. All they said was "Congratulations, son" before showing me a brand new computer. I gave them the biggest hug I had ever given them.
I remember starting up that computer. The "bum" of a Mac laptop when it starts filled me with cheer. I went to look at Youtube. I saw a video titled "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic."
That was the day I became a brony. After 10 minutes of watching it, when Rainbow Dash appeared on the screen, with her teal coat and rainbow mane, I instantly fell in love. Rainbow Dash was my girl. She was my favorite. She was special.
Now, in the present, im lying down in a hospital bed. Im slowly dying. The world is going dark. I hear the distant beeping of the pulse sensor. "Beep beep"   "Beep beep"  "Beep beep"
I was ready for this. I knew it was coming. I feared it, but now it's here. Death. Its here to whisk me away, into its arms.
I looked to my left, out the window. I saw a beautiful park. Children were playing and laughing. That was the last I would see of the world.
I looked up, and began to close my eyes for the very last time. As I did so, I saw my whole life in front of me.
I saw my first day of school.
I saw my first day of middle school.
I saw my graduation.
I saw my computer.
But, then I saw something in the light.
I saw Rainbow Dash.
She was reaching out to me. She spoke to me.
"Its okay... Im still here... Ill always be your best friend..."
I reached out to touch her hoof.
The green line on the monitor went blank.
