RainbowDash and Spike

Spike was known as ponyville's only resident dragon, but, his depression didn't make him feel good at that name he aquired over the years.

I'm just a monster. No one could love an animal like me. Spike thought, hiding under his covers.

Spike heard some knocking, and said, "Come in." Twilight entered through the door, a plate of food hovering above her head, covered with a purple magic.

"Hi Spike, just brought you some lunch." Twilight said putting the plate right next to his bed.

Spike's claw came out, trying to search for the food, until Twilight grabbed his claw with her magic and pulled him out, making him stay still, shocked at what his 'sister' did. He glared at her, and if he had glared any harder, he would've burned holes in her head.

"C'mon Spike, you've been holed up in here for three days, I'm worried, tell me what's wrong." Twilight said, putting him down, but, his answer was hiding back in his blanket.

"Oh Spike, loook, it's a girl dragon!" Twilight said, gasping, and pointing towards the door.

"Nice try Twi, I know your tricks, it's not helping."

"Spike, just tell me what's wrong." Twilight said, sticking her head into the covers.

Spike simply puffed smoke at her, making her get up and try to fan the smoke away with her hoof.

"Real mature Spike." Twilight said, coughing again.

Spike didn't answer, and so Twilight sighed, before heading towards the door.

"Alright Spike, I'll go eat all the icecream then." Twilight said, heading to the door.

"No!" Spike yelled, hopping out of the blanket. "Fine I'll tell you about it."

Twilight smiled, liking how it went her way.

"Alright, so you know I have a crush on Rarity..." Spike began.

"I know? Heck, most of Ponyville knows about it!"

"They what?!" Spike asked, a bit shocked.

"Nevermind, countinue your story." Twilight said.

"Alright, so it started when I..." Spike began, telling his story to Twilight. Twilight's smile dropped when he talked about how Rarity denied the date.

"..and so, that's why Spike has been depressed these four days." Twilight finished explaining to Fluttershy.

"Well, if it helps, Rainbow dash said she'd help Spike out." Fluttershy said, earning a shocked Twilight infront of her.

"She what?!" Twilight asked, earning a 'meep' from Fluttershy.

"Oh I hope it isn't a prank." Twilight said, facehoofing.

"Oh no, nothing like that."

"Please explain." Twilight said, looking at her with hope.

"Well, Rainbow came to me a little while ago and explained it to me aswell, but, I suggested something that she'll do,, I just hope she isn't making him feel worse while she's doing it." Fluttershy said, looking down at her tea.
