Behind the Scenes

" What do you need, Your Majesty?" asked Lyra. The princess flashed her a very serious face.

" You six have proven yourselves worthy of bearing the Elements of Harmony," she said after a moment or two.

Derpy stood there, confused.  'The Elements of what?' she thought. Her string of thoughts was broken by her companion. "The Elements of what now?" the Doctor asked.

Twilight opened her mouth to speak, but Lyra cut her off.

" The Elements of Harmony are six elements that have the most powerful magic in all of Equestria! Loyalty, generosity, laughter, kindness, honesty, and magic, the Element Princess Twilight discovered," she explained.

The Princess stepped forward. "But now that my friends are gone," she started to say, but emotions took over, and she collapsed on the ground, crying.

Octavia rushed over to her. "Princess! Are you alright?" Twilight looked at her

"Yes, Octavia. I'm fine," she said, tearfully. "Ahem. As I was saying, there must be new ponies to take hold of the Elements."

Lyra stared at her in confusion. "But why us? I mean, we're just ordinary ponies. Except Doctor. But still! We aren't special!"

                                          "Yes you are. You are very special, very special indeed."
