He had sharp teeth, dragon-like eyes, and a gold crown. He said with a regal voice "Who is in charge of entertainment." It was so loud, it could be heard at the farest point of The Crystal Empire. A pegasus stallion with a red coat and a bronze mane and tail stepped out of a small cave. "I am, sir," he said. "What is your name," said Starflight. "My name is Top Shot," said the red pony. "Guards! Take custody of this 'Top Shot'." A large group of pegasuses in black armor armed with swords and spears flew him to the south. Top Shot was tossed into a prison cell and a pair of guards stayed in front of cell. Top Shot could hear Starflight yelling at the bottom of his lungs "By this time tomorrow, Top Shot will be a fighter for my stadium." Top Shot started looking for an exit. He saw a window with a pair of week bars and rammed it. On his first try, he fly through the bars. The guards called for help. Luckily, Top Shot was the fastest pegasus in Equestria. He heard about a refugee town in The Everfree Forest. Top Shot knew it was dangerous to go there but he had no other choose. 5 min. later Above The Everfree Forest, Top Shot slowed down to survey the landscape. To his left: trees, right: trees, backwards: trees, and front: trees. He continuned to look foward. He saw a blue and yellow pony flying. Their was something about the yellow. It was light. But then he noticed something else. It was coming right at him! Chapter 2: The AwakeningPain. That's all I could feel. It's like a dragon biting you. I finally opened my eyes. I saw a lot of trees. I bolted up. It was The Everfree Forest. I started smelling a fowl odor. "Buck, Timber Wolves. I have to get out of here now." I looked up and saw a hole in the trees that I could fly through. A couple twigs fell as I flew through. When I broke the surface, the odor went away. I did a location spell and I was in The Everfree Forest. I remembered Starflight's plan to take all the power for himself. All he saw was red and bronze coming right at him. BOOM!CRASH!TUMBLE! The pony that I crashed got up at me and said,"Hey. Watch were the buck your bucking going." I got up and said,"I'm sorry. I got distracted." I streached my wings and I felt a sharp pain in my right wing. I looked at it, and was at an angle that made me want to vomit. I looked back at him. He was looking at me, but I couldn't tell if he was looking at my mane or my wings. "Is there something wrong?" I asked. "Sadness, death, sickness, and slavery," he said. "Why?" I asked "Because you have awakened." You know the story about Daylight being put in a deep sleep, but there is a second part: It was a couple of days after the incident. Starflight had had control over Equestria for only a matter of minutes. He had little magicico left from the past events. They were all preformed in such a short period of time. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna said, "If you over use your horn, it will break off." Starflight didn't listen to them. Instead he killed them in a bloody arena. He just sat down on his thrown and smiled at the bloodshed. He was so cruel, he had the winner of the tournamant killed and drank her blood. If you ever got in a tournament, there was no surviving. I'm the only one able to escape, l------------------------l l END FLASHBACK l l------------------------l "That gave me a great idea," I said. "Please do not interupt me while I am storytelling. With the cloud, came an evil wave across Equestria. It was the beginning of the worst time Equestria had ever winessed. The towns were turned into ruins. The animals of the Everfree saw Starflight's power and hid in the unknown. He was walking down a hallway when it happened. He was about to shoot a freedom fighter when a change came over Starflight. He had dragon-like wings and teeth. Everything like him turned into a dragon. He became some sort of pony-dragon hybrid. We started calling him a dragicorn. He became more ruthless than ever. He reached a large door that was mostly sky blue with a yellow top and yellow rimming. "I must kill Daylight." he whispered to nopony,"but he is my own flesh and blood." Finally, he made his decision. He was not going to kill Daylight but put a major sleep spell on him instead. The black pony readied the spell and opened the door. There was a alicorn stallion a little smaller than the black pony. The smaller pony had a pair of eyes filled with kindness and trustworthyness. "Hello Starflight, I didn't say you could come i-" said the interupted blue pony. "Shut up" said Starflight. "Why?" said Daylight. "You know why, but I'll explain it once. When we turn 25, we will rule over Epuestria. Unfortunately, we must share the power between us and the princesses. I will take all the power for myself. You are the only one strong enough to defeat me. By elimanating you, nopony would dare stand in my way,"said Starflight. As soon as Starflight finished, Daylight made a break for nearby window. As Daylight started flapping his wings and loss contact with the ground, a grey light was realeased from Starflight's horn and hit Daylight. Daylight slumped to the ground deathlike but alive. Starflight levitated Daylight onto his back and flew out the window. About 30 minutes later Starflight flew into The Everfree Forest. He found a small clearing that is well hidden. He dumped Daylight into the clearing and said "Nopony will find you here. When you wake up, stay here." He flew back to where he came from. Chapter 3: To The Village"I'll explain later. I'm Top Shot," said the stallion. "I'm Daylight Runner. Where are we going," I asked. "There's a refugee town to the north. We should go there," said Top Shot. "We can't fly." "I'm the fastest flyer in all of Equestria." "My wing is broken. Your not going to leave me to die. Are you." "Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. I think this is north," said Top Shot, pointing to his right. "No, it's this way," I said, pointing to the way he came from. "What makes you say that." "I did a magnetic field search spell and it said this is north." After a little while, he agreed with me. We walked for a couple hours before it became night fall. "I'm suprised no Timber Wolves or Hydras have come after us," I said. "I think it's time I start explaining what happened while you were asleep." Top Shot explained all sorts of stuff. The animals of the Everfree got scared of ponies, the princesses were being held captive, and much more. As he explained I wanted to learn who this dictator was. We fell asleep around midnight. THE NEXT MORNING "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." My eyes shot open. Several ponies in complete brown clothes and masks had Top Shot tied up and on a wagon. When they saw me get up, the leader threw a bunch of mud at my horn. I was about to do a fire spell when something stopped the magic from coming out of my horn. I looked into a puddle and saw a mud that stopped magic from flowing. The smallest pony walked up. She was an Earth Pony, not much older than 5. She had a dark brown coat and a light brown mane and tail. That's all I was able to see coming out of her clothes. She had a glint of some sorts in her eyes. I walked over to the wagon. The robbers tried to hide their fear. It was an ability of mine that I was able to read ponies emotions and feelings. I untied Top Shot and told him to follow me. I got our supplies, and we continue on our journey. "You could have killed her. Why didn't you," asked Top Shot. "She was doing what she had to do to survive, she was doing the only thing she knew, and there was something about her, a glint in her eyes," I said. We walked for a couple of more hours when we got to the village. "Told you this was north," I said. Chapter 4: The Village"What's the name of this village?" I said. "This is Las Ponyia," said Top Shot. We were surrounded by one-story huts. They had regular doors, but the windows were barred. The village had a small stone wall surrounding. Some of the huts were larger which appeared to be stores. They walked to the center of the village. There were several fillies and foals playing. A young blue unicorn with a red mane and tail came up to us. "What are you," she asked. "I'm an Alicorn," I said. At that word she freaked out and ran to a pink mare with a blue mane and tail with a streak of pink. They just looked at us. I could see that they were scared. I looked at Top Shot and asked,"What was that about?" He looked at me with a look that made him look like he was going to tell me something that was going to make me upset. "Your brother is the dictator." I almost fainted at the sound of this. "Your kidding. Right," I said. "No," said Top Shot,"but we should take you to the local healer." AT THE LOCAL HEALER "Your wing took a good hit. You'll want to stay off of it for a year," said the local healer. " Did you just say a year?" said Top Shot as the healer was putting a cast on my wing. I said, " We don't have a year. I have to stop Starflight as soon as possible." " Only his brother can defeat him," said the healer. " I'm his brother," I said. She looked at me with a look a look of disbelief, but the more she looked at me, the more belief filled her eyes. I paid her for the cast and we left for the village center. The mare and the filly were still there, but the filly was talking about me to the other fillies and foals there. The filly looked up and saw me. She ran into a nearby hut. The pink mare from earlier came up to me and said, "Sorry about my daughter screaming at her. Alicorns make her think about Lord Starflight." " I understand. After all, what my brother did to Equestria is worse than the Changelings, Discord, and Nightmare Moon combined," I said. "You're Lord Starflight's brother. You died many years ago," she said. "He cast a sleep spell on me. I believe it was a super sleep spell," I said. "I'm Daylight Runner," I said as a put a hoof out. "I'm Slight Fire," she said and shook my hoof. "Do you have a place to stay, tonight?" "No. Why?" I asked as Top Shot walked up with some apples and other stuff in his sachel bag. "Where did you get that stuff?" "Stole it," he said. "What?!" both me and Slight said at the same time. "I'm kidding," chuckled Top Shot. "Sure hope you are," I said. "Anyways, You and..." "Top Shot." "Top Shot can stay at my house tonight, if you need to," said Slight. "Ok, I guess we'll be there," I said. "It's that house over there," said Slight, pointing at the house opposite of us. "Bye." "Bye," I said. "Bye," said Top Shot. After she said walked away, Top Shot, "Do you think we could trust her?" "We are at a disadvantage. It is two against one, but he's on the latest spells. I'm 1500 years behind on spells." "That's not true," replied Top Shot.
