Behind the illustrious buildings of Canterlot lies the small coroner's office of Life Spark, one of Equestria's few medical examiners and coronary officials. To him, death is a daily sight, and not a day goes by where he doesn't have to be present to another poor soul's autopsy. But this contrast between his job and the happy, seemingly care-free attitude of society can drive any pony into a solemn, depressing life.
