Super Spells And Bad Memories
"A-are you s-s-sure, Twilight?"
"Yes, Fluttershy. Everything is safe. I mean, I made it!" Twilight gave victory pose.
"Keep the poses to me, Twilight." Rainbow chukled as she trotted into the library.
"Err, okay."
Applejack bucked the library door close as the final pony walked in.
"So, wha's tha spell?"
"It's a spell that can change...YOU!"
"AH!" Rarity jumped. "Twilight, dear. You nearly gave me a heart-attack!"
Twilight giggled.
"Sorry. I guess I'm really excited."
"And so am I!"
Pinkie bounced around the room along with Twilight.
Until something tugged at the indigo tail.
"Hold ya horses, Twi. Ah thought ya wanted ta do this spell."
"Oh yes. Sorry about that girls." She sheepishly smiled.
"What did you mean earlier? It changes...us." Rainbow asked, as she fluttered her wings in frustration.
"It will change your colour of your coat, your eyes, hair and it will even change your cutiemark!"
"I don't want my beautiful hair to change. Or my pearl white coat!" Rarity wailed.
"Oh for the mother of Celestia!! It's Twilight doing the spell, Rarity! Twilight!" Rainbow moaned.
"I know, but-"
"But, wha? Don' ya trust Twi?"
"Well, yes. But-"
"Besides, Twi, can change you back! Can't you Twilight?"
"Of course, Pinkie."
Twilight trotted into the center of her five friends, who were now in a circle.
Her horn began to sparkle, and she began to glow bright purple.
The five mares closed their eyes.
Their bodys radiating began to glow with the colours of the Elements of Harmony.
Fluttershy glimmered pink. Applejack sparkled orange. Rarity glowed indigo. Pinkie fizzed blue. And Rainbow was scarlet red.
The six mares opened their eyes wide, but they were pure white.
They all began to rise.
BANG!
The door swung open, and three fillies ran in.
"Twilight! We nee-woah!"
They gawped at the colourful display.
"Shall we leave them?"
"No. This is too awesome!" Scootaloo stared up.
"What's wrong with their...Al-uments?"
"Elements, Applebloom."
"Whatever, Sweetiebelle!" The small yellow earth pony opened the glass cabinet, holding the Elements of Harmony.
"Wow! They are so pretty."
The necklaces and the crown were glowing, along with the bearers.
"Did ya here tha?"
"What?"
"Sh!"
"Remember girls, think happy thoughts. Then the spell will go well."
"Sure thing Twi! I'll think of me and the Cake Twins playday, last week!"
"Ah'll tink of tha Apple Family reunion!"
"I will remember the Sister Hooves Social with darling little Sweetiebelle."
"Aww, Rarity." Sweetie sniffed.
"That's awesome! They are using...errr...telepathy!" Scootaloo trotted over.
"Oh, the butterfly migration, would be perfect."
"Mine, is the day Celestia took me in as her student."
"Cool! I wonder what's Rainbow's happy thought will be."
They all looked at Rainbow, who started twitching.
"Rainbow Dash! I'm losing your connection with you! Rainbow!"
"Happy thoughts! Think happy!"
"Rainbow! Come on! Think of something and the spell will be complete!"
"I'm trying, Twi!"
"What about you being with Scootaloo?"
"I can't. I upset her the other day. Now she hates me."
"What about your foalhood? And your family?"
"Twilight!"
"Fluttershy?"
The glow began to darken, and fizz.
Then in a blast of light, they all fell.
"Errr...wait! Did it work?"
The purple eyes scanned the area.
Wait, was the library always this big.
"Where is everypony?"
Five fillies? Three mares?
Three mares?
One white unicorn with pink and lilac hair. One orange pegasus with fushia hair. And one yellow pony with red hair.
"Sweetiebelle? Scootaloo? Applebloom?"
"Hang on. Are we-"
"Wha happened?"
The five fillies began to wake up.
"Twilight!"
The three now adult Crusaders woke up.
"What happened to you?"
They now towered over the Mane Six.
"We are fillies? Again?"
"I thought it was only supposed to change your colour and cutimark!" A marshmallow unicorn yelled.
"It was!" The lavender filly retorted.
"TWILIGHT! WHA DID YA DO?" Applejack screamed.
"I DON'T KNOW!"
"WHY ARE WE YELLING?"
The two arguing fillies gave a disapproving look at the pink pony.
"It wasn't me. I told everypony to think happy."
They all looked at Rainbow. Who was huddled up on the floor.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I-I-I-" Tears streamed down her cheeks. "You said...to think of my...family."
"I told you Twilight." The yellow pegasus squeaked.
"Err, Twilight?"
"Told me what?"
"TWILIGHT?" Scootaloo boomed.
The filies shutted up instantly.
"What happened? Why are big?"
"I don't know."
Applebloom looked at her flank.
"Still no cutiemark." She hissed.
"Listen, all I remember was telling Rainbow to think happy thoughts about her family!"
"Well, I can't think happy thoughts about my family!"
"Bloody hell, Rainbow! Why not?"
"I-I-I couldn't." The cyan filly muttered.
"Why?" Little Pinkie bounced over.
"Why, exactly? Huh? Ah thought ya were a strong mare...filly....pony!" Applejack said.
"That's just a shell."
"Huh?"
"I don't want to talk about it!" Tears freely poured out of the boisturious pegasus.
Scootaloo walked over.
"Rainbow, calm down. You don't have to take it out on them. That's what I did to my friends."
"Thanks Scoots. But this is my fault. Like everything else."
"Great! Now I might be able to use magic."
Sweetie's horn fizzed green, before popping.
"Damn!"
"Wait a minute!" Twilight's horn began to glow. Then pop. "Oh no! Now that I am younger, my magic abilites have been reduced!"
"Wha do we do now?"
"Erm, Twilight?"
"Yes Applebloom."
"Ah don't think we were tha only ones affected."
"What do you mean?"
The adult earth pony pushed the door open.
"Oh dear. Oh dear indeed."
