The 5 Rooms

The mane six had just arrived at Appleloosa, Twilight had brought Spike, a chicken pie for dinner and for breakfast; honey-glazed sausages.

Pinkie Pie brought dessert (Giant half-chocolate, half-vanilla cake) and, just what she said, a giant stack of pancakes and a cup of maple syrup for everyone (breakfast).

Rarity brought an expertly decorated row of cupcakes for dessert and the mix for waffles, wanting it all to be fresh and perfect.

Rainbow Dash brought rainbow cake and a fruit cake for a side dish-slash-breakfast

Fluttershy brought Angel, and for food; butterfly-shaped veggie-burgers and a salad for breakfast.

Applejack and Big Macintosh brought Granny Smith's famous apple cobbler and an apple pie for breakfast.

And Braeburn and Caramel ordered pizza.

After Fluttershy had gotten mad at Twilight for bringing meat and everyone had finished their meals, it was time to name who goes with who in which room.

"Alright, everypony to the lobby, it's time to name name's for who goes in which room!" Caramel announced

"Wait, you mean we don't get to choose?" Rainbow Dash asked

"Nope, sorry, strict rules. it's been like that since 1997 because everypony always made a lot of noise with their partners and it disturbed the neighbors" The Hotel manager said while trotting into the lobby.

Fluttershy's eyes widened in horror at the thought of not having her best friend by her side, she looked at Rainbow Dash and saw that she was staring right back at her, with a look of worry pasted on that usually confident looking face, which just scared Fluttershy even more.

"The pets go in the kennel in the basement" the manager said, strictly

"what? no! I can't leave my poor little Angel bunny in a cold, dark and scary basement!" Fluttershy shouted (well, Flutter-shouted).

"Well, those are the rules"

"c'mon, Mable, just this one time?" Braeburn pleaded

"ugh, fine, but if i find one loose strand of fur or one little poo pebble, little Angel bunny goes by-bye" she threatened

"oh! ye-yes ma'am" Fluttershy agreed

"Alright, lets get to it" The hotel manager started

"Room 1, Applejack and Rainbow Dash"

Rainbow dash widened her eyes and flashed a huge smile towards Fluttershy, being the only other pony who knew Rainbow's feelings towards Applejack.

Fluttershy smiled back at Rainbow, feeling happy for her friend.

Applejack, on the other hand, while not being very good at taking hints, thought that Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash had some sort of inside joke, were making fun of Applejack or were going to prank her or something. She knew that Fluttershy wasn't the kind that pranks people, but Rainbow Dash was.

"Room 2..." The manager started

"Pinkie Pie and Spike"

Spike pouted, he didn't want to be with PINKIE Pie! Why couldn't it have been Rarity, he thought.

"Oh boy oh boy, Spike! I brought games for us to play! we can play them all night long!" Pinkie Pie said, bouncing up and down and running circles around everypony.

"Calm down, Pinkie." Spike said, still pouting

"Room 3, Caramel and Rarity"

Rarity squealed happily, being with another stallion guaranteed her night be fabulous

On the other hand, Caramel grunted, being with another mare guaranteed his night be boring

"Room 4,  Big Macintosh and Fluttershy"

Fluttershy turned her head slowly to face Big Macintosh, who looked back and smiled kindly, Fluttershy looked back at Rainbow Dash, who had one eyebrow lifted and had a slight smirk, she winked. Fluttershy just blushed and looked at the ground.

"And that leaves Twilight and Braeburn in room 5" the manager announced and then gave one person from each room a key to their rooms, then left.

Braeburn smiled and looked at Twilight, who smiled kindly back at him.

"Well, Ah'm gonna go unpack, RD, u comin'?" AppleJack said

"oh! uh... yeah!" Rainbow Dash said, flying beside Applejack towards their room

Angel yawned and Fluttershy snapped out of her panic attack

"Oh, Angel, are you tired? come on, lets go get your bed set up" Fluttershy said, walking slowly towards room 4

"Eeyup" Big Mac said, following Fluttershy to their room

"Oh! I know! I'll go set up the first game!" Pinkie beamed, bouncing to room 2

"ugh, might as well keep my mind off of, oh, i don't know, everything!" Spike said, walking behind Pinkie

"I'm going to bed" Caramel said, grumpily

"what? so early? dear, no no no no, we have some work to do!" Rarity said, following Caramel, with a sly grin on her face

After everypony had gone to their rooms, Braeburn looked at Twilight.

"After you" he said, gesturing to the door to room 5

"why, thank you" Twilight said while trotting to the room and giggling.
