It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Rainbow Dash was flying high speed with Thunderlane on a practice course through the sky. Rainbow Dash was as usual picking up and reaching much farther speeds against what Thunderlane could ever do. She looked behind her and stopped to find Thunderlane way behind her. She slowed down to meet up with the dark grey pegasus and cockily floated in the air on her back smiling in superiority. Thunderlane finally caught up with Rainbow Dash and sped as tiredly as possible to her position. He finally arrived to her and began to breath heavily for the amount of effort he put himself through. "Hmmph, your going to have to do better than that if you wanna be the best like me." said Rainbow Dash with a smug pride while floating on her back as if she wasn't even trying. Thunderlane took a few breaths before placing his hooves on a cloud to rest. He situated himself comfortably to finally make eye contact with Rainbow Dash, her ruby red eyes were glistening from the sun's light. "I can do this Rainbow just give me a sec.." "If you want to be Wonderbolt's material you will at least have to be able to keep up with the likes of me." said Rainbow with an authoritative demeanor while staring at Thunderlane seriously and pointing at him. "Hey uh Rainbow Dash could we go down to the earth and relax for a bit I'm getting a bit sore." said Thunderlane while aching with pain on his wings. "Don't tell me your going soft on me!" "No thats not it at all! Please?" ""Sigh.." fine we can go down but, only for a few minutes" Rainbow Dash and Thunderlane landed down into the Everfree Forest where they were surrounded by cutesy animals and grassy knolls surrounding the landscape. Rainbow Dash comfortably lay on a bush while she watched Thunderlane sit down massaging his wings. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes with her hoofs on the back of her head to have them open again to find Thunderlane standing over her with a big wooden branch. Within a second Thunderlane smashed the branch on Rainbow Dash's head knocking her out. Thunderlane began to drag the now sleeping pony all the way deep into the Everfree. He made his way past the verdant green trees that stretched as far as the very top covering the blue sky. He finally arrived dragging the unconscious equine all the way to a run-down house with broken and dust encrusted windows that would scare a filly from ever entering. The home was made entirely of decaying wood and falling debris with peeled paint seeping from the unsafe walls. If one would touch the very skin of the house they would most likely gain a splinter on their hurt hoof. Thunderlane looked upon this home as if it was paradise all contained inside. "Were home honeyhoof all our dreams will finally come true!" said Thunderlane as he ran to his decrepit home like a school boy running home from school. Thunderlane pushed the door open and entered the home, the floor creaked with each step and the dragged body of the blue pegasus was making a lot of noise on the floor board. Hearing the annoying noise sting his ears, Thunderlane picked up Rainbow Dash from the floor and put her on top of his back. The inside of the home was dark but, with a flick of a switch everything became bright inside. The place was layered with old nasty furniture with dust collecting everywhere as if there was barely anywhere to breath. Thunderlane put down Rainbow Dash to finally jump into the couch for an explosion of dust that crowded the very area around him. He enjoyed the explosion as if it was a blast of confetti and rolled around in the dirty, grimy sofa. After the dust splattered all over the place, Thunderlane smiled a boyish grin and put back Rainbow on his back to continue to his basement as if he was on his honeymoon with his dear wife on his side going to their room to spend the night. He trotted to a dusty old mat and pulled it out of the way to find a cellar with a rusty handle protruding from it's surface. He pulled it to find himself giggling in anticipation and quickly stepped down the darkness of the stairs to finally pull out a light from the ceiling to brighten up the room. Inside the basement there were bear traps with blood stained in the metal teeth.
